Weaving pattern

So, let's start weaving our tree from beads.

Step 1: form rowan leaves

It all starts with the formation of foliage.

Step 2: form a branch of leaves

We make 9 leaves and collect them in a separate branch. First, we take one of them, and we fasten the rest to it from both sides. As a result, you will get a strong, fairly dense branch with leaves.
To form a whole tree, you will need at least 14 of these large elements. Although, if you plan to make the product more magnificent, then the amount can be increased.

Step 3: make clusters of rowan

Next, we begin the formation of bunches of mountain ash. To do this, we string our prepared beads on a small piece of wire, send it a certain distance from the end of the wire, and right below it we form a twist of several turns.

Step 4: join the clusters into one

We place the next bead not far from the first twist, and again we form several turns directly below it. And so on until you have a fluffy bunch of berries in your hands. There should be 8 of them in total. We form 2 more such clusters of 8 pieces, and combine it all into one.

For our tree, 7 such elements are enough.

Step 5: decorate the wire

To decorate the wire, we wrap all our trunks with a thread of a suitable color. You can simplify your work and use floral tape instead.

Step 6: Build a Tree from the Elements

Finished elements are assembled into a tree. And for two leaves - one bunch of mountain ash.

Step 7: the final stage of the mountain ash assembly

In order to put it all together, we take a thick wire, and begin to wind our blanks with bunches to it in the order shown in the photographs.

First you need to string the beads on the wire, then twist it. Having put on ten beads in this way, they should then be connected to each other, creating peculiar bunches. The next step is to create leaves using green beads. The technique of parallel weaving is used. One bead is strung on the first row, then two, and again one bead on the last row. There should be seven rows in total. Then these details are combined into a single leaf familiar from childhood. First, three elements are combined, everything is twisted at the base, and then the remaining pairs are attached.

The penultimate stage is the creation of tree branches. It is necessary to take a finished sheet, along with one bunch. Put them on top of each other, rewind the base. Then put the next sheet and attach it again, and after that take the bunch. The final step is to repeat everything again, ending with a piece of paper. Should be a neat branch. Tree assembly

The finish line is the formation of the trunk. Thick wire will become the basis of the future tree. It is necessary to wind branches to it from top to bottom. We collect branches from cooked leaves.

To the top of the branch we place three small leaves. We twist the wires together.

We begin to attach the middle sheet and complete the connection with a large sheet. Twigs for our mountain ash are ready. Next, we create the branches and trunk of our mountain ash from additional wire. We attach alternately blanks to our branch. To make branches and trunks thicker, apply masking tape. You can take a satin ribbon for the complete decoration of branches and trunks and arrange them by plastering. First, we wrap all parts of the tree with a strong thread so that the trunk and branches are not so loose after plastering, then we dilute the PVA with alabaster and carefully plaster the branches first and then the trunk itself. We create a stand for our tree from the same solution. Let it dry, then paint the branches and trunk with coffee-colored gouache. Color the stand as you wish. Let the paint dry. At the end, we varnish the trunk and branches of mountain ash. Our tree is ready.

It is not so difficult to make an original and beautiful rowan from beads.

This requires a little knowledge and skills, patience, imagination and the necessary materials. There are several ways to weave rowan from beads. Someone prefers to make branches from ordinary threads and then glue them with PVA glue, while someone uses floss threads. In this tutorial, we will offer the easiest way to make embossed branches and a trunk, as in the picture.

We will consider an example of weaving a winter rowan from beads.

After determining the material for the branches and trunk, we will make a list of what what we need to create a mountain ash in the snow:

Glue and polystyrene, bead mix for "snow" on the trunk and branches and in a pot, acrylic paint;

Weaving "Snow" for mountain ash

Now we will dwell in more detail on how to make "snow".

We take a wire of a transparent color and in any sequence we collect transparent and white beads. Then we create a loop, folding it in two turns, and take on the next one. It is necessary to calculate so that the wire is enough for about seven loops. We make brushes from prepared blanks and weave them together with our “snow”. Next, we take a thickened wire and fasten the bunches with a nylon thread. We make the trunk frame using the previously chosen method and strive to fix the larger branches well enough. Now we put our product in a pot. We can prepare alabaster or cement mortar. To prepare the alabaster solution, we take water and alabaster 1: 1.

Having fixed and installed the products, pour the mixture into a pot and hold the tree until the alabaster is frozen. Further, if the branches and trunk are made of threads on wire and glue, then you can lubricate them with a solution of alabaster, PVA and water (1: 1: 1). You need to start with branches. Painted with brown acrylic paint. We arrange the base to your liking. We cover it with paint, or with a layer of PVA and sprinkle with beads or crushed foam. If desired, the necessary places are varnished. So, we have created a winter mountain ash under the snow.

To weave rowan from beads, we need:
Beads of two colors: green and orange-red. Bead size #10 (Czech) or #12 (Chinese)
Wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm or thicker wire (for stem formation)
Molar tape or thread - this should be wrapped around the barrel
Brown acrylic paints
Alabaster.

Let's start weaving rowan from beads with bunches. One bunch of rowan consists of five small bunches.

We take 33 cm of wire and collect 3 red beads on it. We place the beads 5 cm from the edge of the wire and twist both ends of the wire under the beads by about 1 cm.

In total, 10 such twists must be made on the wire. After the ends of the wires are twisted together. It turned out to be a small bundle.

We make 5 such bundles. Now from these five small bunches you need to make a bunch of rowan berries from beads. To do this, take bundles - 5 pieces and twist them together. Get a bunch of rowan berries.

Clusters need to weave only 11 pieces.

The leaves are woven in a parallel weaving technique, in each row a certain number of beads wake up.

1 row: We take a wire of 25 cm, string one bead on it. Now we thread any of the ends of the wire in the opposite direction through this bead and tighten it.

2 row: take two beads and string them on either end of the wire. Now we take the other end of the wire and pass it in the opposite direction through these two beads. We tighten the ends.

3 row: take three beads, string them on either end of the wire. Now we take the other end of the wire and pass it in the opposite direction through these three beads. Tighten the ends of the wire.

In the 4th and 5th row: we make three beads in the same way.

6 row: from this row the leaf is woven in descending order. Beads in this row you need to make two pieces.

7th row: this row is the final one. We make one bead in it. We twist the ends of the wire together. Such leaves need to be woven pieces 187.

Now from these small leaves you need to make large rowan leaves from beads. First, take three leaves and twist them together. Next, take another leaf and wind it to these three leaves. The leaf should be placed on the left, 0.5 -0.7 cm below the first three leaves. Next to the right side we attach another leaf.

Below these leaves we wind two more leaves and then two more. In total, a large leaf consists of 9 small leaves.

Assembly of rowan from beads

Let's start assembling rowan from beads with its branches. To start, take one bunch and one large leaf. We wind the bunch to the leaf. Next, we attach another leaf and a second bunch.

Immediately after the second bunch, we attach the third rowan leaf. It turned out a rowan branch. We collect such branches from all leaves and clusters for mountain ash.

When all the branches are collected, we begin to form a tree. We take a thick wire and attach one branch to its edge - it will be central.
Further in a circle, slightly lower from each other, we attach the remaining branches.

First you will need to cut 10 pieces of thin wire. The length of each should be about 40 cm.

Then you will need to string 7 green beads on each piece and place them right in the center. After that, you will need to fasten the beads by scrolling the fittings 3-4 times.

You will need to cut 20 pieces (40-45 cm) and make 9 of the same leaves on them. And then you will need wire branches 45-50 cm long, on which you will make 11 leaves.

Second weaving option

To create leaves, you can also use another weaving pattern:

First you will need to put 1 bead on the main material and place it in the center. Then you will need to pass one end on the right side through 2 beads and the other end on the left side through the same beads.

Making bunches of rowan

Having made the required number of branches, we will have to weave rowan clusters. Our master class will tell you about the different ways of weaving:

In order to make them we need brown beads and large red beads. To begin with, you will need to cut 20 pieces 30-35 cm long.
Then you will need to string 5 beads, 1 bead and 1 bead onto the wire. After that, you will need to pass one end of the wire through one bead and five beads. In this case, one end of the wire should be about 6 cm long, and the second should be longer.
On the long end, you will again need to put on 5 beads, a bead and 1 bead. You, as well as last time, will have to pass the wire through the bead and 5 beads. Acting according to this scheme, you will have to weave a bunch of 5 berries. After completing the weaving, you will need to twist the free ends. In total, you should get 20 of them;
To create rowan inflorescences with your own hands, you can also use another weaving scheme: you will need to string red beads and, stepping back about 5 cm from the edge, start twisting the berries. Please note that each berry consists of 3 beads and there is a small distance between them.
After twisting about 10 berries, you will need to form the bunch itself. To do this, you will need to randomly twist the wire with berries, and then just scroll it several times.
There is another more laborious way of weaving rowan berries. For it, you will need a piece of thin fittings (about 10 cm). Stepping back a little from the edge, you will need to put 1 bead on it and scroll it 3-4 times. Then you will need to put on 1 more bead and secure it in the same way. Try to keep the distance between your beads was about 5 mm. Acting in this way, you will need to screw 15 beads. After that, you will need to twist the wire so that you get a small inflorescence.

then string another 6-8 pieces on each tip. and scroll again;

At this stage, we can start forming the tree trunk. To do this, we will need to take 6 pieces of thick wire and attach 4 “snow” clusters to them. And then form a trunk and wrap everything with threads. Please note that we have bent the ends. This was done so that later our winter beauty would be more stable;

now we need to make a base on which our winter mountain ash will “grow”. To do this, we will need to grease the mold with sunflower oil, place a tree in it and pour it with a mixture of water and alabaster;

after the alabaster is completely dry, we can get the tree out of the mold and coat its trunk and branches with a mixture of PVA glue, water and alabaster. It is most convenient to apply such a composition with a thin brush;

our winter beauty is almost ready. We just have to paint the trunk and branches with brown gouache and varnish. After that, on top of the tree and on the stand, we can apply artificial snow (a mixture of water, white gouache, glue and alabaster) and sprinkle everything with sparkles.

The trunk of a tree is made from an ordinary branch or from any material at hand. For the base of the tree, you can take a small pot or make it from alabaster.

Prepare in advance beads and glass beads of white or silver color, thin wire for weaving details, white paper (you can take tracing paper or paper towels), a container for wood (or alabaster), scissors, PVA glue, as well as decorative elements for decoration (ribbons, appliqués). , large beads).

Put 5 glass beads on a small piece of wire (20 cm).

Connect both ends of the wire to make a loop, and twist them several times to secure.

Next, at a distance of 1 cm from each other, you need to make the same loops so that you get 5-7 pieces (it is better to make the number odd).

Fold the wire in half so that one petal remains at the top, and all are in contact with each other in pairs.

From the resulting workpiece by twisting, you need to make a twig (an example is shown in the photo).

The number of branches depends on the size of the planned winter tree(the more branches, the more magnificent it will turn out).

Having connected several branches with each other, it is necessary not only to twist the free ends of the wire, but also with the help of PVA glue and white paper (paper towel) to close the sections of the bare wire as much as possible.

Further, the finished branches can be twisted together or screwed to a regular branch from any tree.

Dilute the alabaster according to the instructions, place the tree trunk in a jar with the blank and wait for the mixture to harden.

You can fix a winter tree in a pot with plasticine, gypsum, alabaster or other materials.

To decorate the trunk or pot, use pre-prepared ribbons, beads or appliqués.

To make a Christmas tree with imitation of snow on the branches, you will need green glass beads, white beads, wire, thread (preferably silk), a pot or alabaster (to fix the tree).

To make the top of the Christmas tree, you need to make four blanks from beads and glass beads.

First, put beads and bugles on the wire in the following sequence: one bugle-three beads-one bugle.

Twist the ends of the wire to make a loop.

Repeat the process six more times so that there are seven loops on one branch.

Lay two blanks on top of each other and twist the free ends of the wire.

Repeat the process with the rest of the blanks.

The result is a pointed branch, which will be the top of the winter Christmas tree.

By the same principle, make five more blanks, only this time the loops on one branch should not be seven, but five.

Connect five blanks to each other and rewind the ends of the wire to secure.

Tape the branch to the blank, which will be the top of the tree.

In a similar way, weave such a number of branches that they are enough for a circle under the base of the top.

The second row is made according to the same principle, only the number of loops on each branch increases to seven.

For each subsequent level, a similar technique is used, but the number of loops is constantly increasing (5, 7, 9, 11, etc.).

As soon as the workpiece takes the form of a Christmas tree, it can be fixed in a pot or in alabaster.

To make a winter tree from gray-blue beads, you will need a minimum amount of materials: beads and wire. You can choose the stand at your discretion - a gypsum pot for example.

On a piece of wire, about 60-80 cm long, put on 8 beads.

Rewind the ends several times to secure the petal and create a loop.

Put 18 beads on the free ends of the wire and twist the next petals. There should be three loops.

Using a similar principle, make a few more loops on the free ends of the wire. The optimal number of petals is 7-9 pieces.

Divide all available branches into several parts, each of which should contain three blanks.

Connect every three branches together.

Connect two blanks of three branches by twisting. Make an imitation of a real branch by attaching several bundles with loops to one blank.

The number of branches depends on the size and splendor of the planned winter tree.

Twist the finished branches together, straighten them and fix the tree on a stand or in a pot.

How to make rowan with imitation of snow

To make winter mountain ash, you will need white beads and glass beads, wire and large orange or red beads. The weaving scheme of such a tree is suitable even for beginners.

Take a small piece of wire and put one red or orange bead on it. Rewind the ends of the wire several times so that the twist is at least 7 mm.

Put on one more bead on the free ends of the wire and repeat the twist. As a result, you should get a bunch of berries (about 10-15 beads).
Repeat the steps with the other piece of wire a few more times.
Connect several clusters together. You get a voluminous sprig of rowan berries.

Put a few white beads on a piece of wire (you can alternate with glass beads). Make a loop.
Repeat the process with the free ends of the wire so that there are several loops on one piece.
Attach loops of white beads to the top of the rowan bunch.
Twist the free ends of the wire together to make a trunk.
Place the finished rowan in a pot or in a mixture of alabaster (plasticine, gypsum).
To mask the wire, you can use to treat the trunk and branches of the winter tree first with PVA glue, and then paint them with black paint.
Bead blanks can be screwed to a real branch, then the composition will look more natural.
