Punch card schemes for jacard knitting machines. Punched cards Brother, Toyota, Silver

In the collection of punched cards I add tapestry punched cards of single jacquard for knitting punched card machines.

I remind you that punched cards for Brother can be perfectly used for knitting machines Silver. You just need to remember that the first row for Brother begins in 8 rows, and for Silver 2 rows lower.

That is, if we see 1 row marked on a punched card before our eyes in a punched card device (I marked it with a red dash for Brother), in fact, it begins to knit 7 rows lower for Brother punched cards or 5 rows lower for Silver Reed.

In other words, the selection of needles for the formation of the pattern will take place outside the field of view, and only the 8th (or 5th for Silver Reed) row will be visible. It is called the first line.

Tapestry jacquard is called a pattern throughout the canvas. Single jacquard jacquard will give broaches, which is not good. But if they are small (for 3-4 loops), then this will not affect the practicality in wearing.

But the extraordinary variety of this kind of jacquards will make things unique, absolutely unique.

Photos are given in pairs: a punch card and a knitted sample. All images are enlarged by clicking on the actual size. Some punched cards are almost processed so that they can be placed on a blank card blank, traced around the holes and punched with a puncher. Others will have to be processed (increase the size in life size blanks for a punched card or manually transfer marks for holes to it). Who is comfortable.

Norwegian snowflakes punched card

Not quite tapestry, but how without them without Norwegian patterns Yes, even in winter. Scandinavian or Norwegian snowflakes, or rather its punched card.

If desired, you can also make solid stylized snowflakes all over the canvas, you get a snowflake tapestry.

And it can only be used as an ornament for finishing sweaters in the Norwegian style. Mittens, scarves, socks, jumpers and dresses - this pattern will suit everyone: both small and adult.

You dial 6 stitches in the RP, 2p.in the ZNP, * 12p.in the RP, 2p. in ZNP *, repeat from * to * and at the end of 6 p.RP. In this arrangement, knit 10-20r.
Then you start transferring loops. I do this with two 3-way deckers. 6 loops on the left you shift 1 needle to the right, you remove the freed needle in the ZNP.
8-13p. shift 1 needle to the left, free. needle in the ZNP. And so on, you close the broaches - the needles that were in the ZNP, and exactly the same broaches are obtained in a checkerboard pattern.
By the way, the same pattern can be associated with any rapport. If there is a multi-needle decker (5.7 or 10 needles), then of course it is more convenient to transfer the loops with one decker.
Here is another pattern that looks amazing on light yarn. "Spanish pattern"
Can be done by manual deckering. You need a simple and 5 needle. deckers. Rapport 34p.x24r. The first 4 rows are repeated 3 times, also rows 13-16. We transfer loops in each row.

1. Carriage on the right side, we analyze the needles: 3 in the PNP, 7 needles in the ZNP; 3 in PNP, 7 in ZNP, and so on across the entire width of the fanture. We collect loops with a looper with a pigtail. Where the needles are in the ZNP, knit with a looper 5 air loops.

2. We put the right 3 needles in the working position and knit 6 rows on them, wrapping around the needle standing in the PNP on the left side (as when knitting heels and toes), then we put the next group of 3 needles standing on the left in the RP and knit 1 row from right to left.

We wrap the last needle on the left of the next group of 3 needles, and on the right we put forward a group of 3 needles into the PNP. We knit from left to right. We wrap the last needle on the right, and so, wrapping the needles on both sides, we knit 4 more rows.

And so on, until the last group of 3 needles. We knit 13 rows on them and now we go from left to right, also wrapping all groups of needles in order in turn.

We knit 30 such moves from right to left and back. We close all the loops with a loop catcher, knitting 5 air loops between groups of 3 needles. Attach brushes to each vertical track.
You can also knit a scarf, but then we put forward only 10 groups (20 are obtained on the stole) of 3 needles, the length is optional.
You can make the analysis completely different. When parsing 3 x 3 needles, a rather dense pattern is obtained. They can be used to knit a jumper. jersey is otherwise called interlock. It knits not difficult, but in principle for a long time on any 2-font machine, but with a punched card (computer) and a jacquard carriage, it knits very easily.
In this case, the fabric turns out to be dense and not very stretchable, but narrower than with ordinary knitting.
In order to knit a jersey, it is necessary that the needles on both needle beds are knitted in a checkerboard pattern.
To do this, you can put an idle on both fonturas and manually push the needles on both needle beds in a checkerboard pattern to the front rail in the PNP with a selective comb. in a trace. row we put forward other needles.

Punched cards or a computer make life much easier for us.
We stuff a 1x1 punched card with a shift or program a drawing in a computer. cars. If there is a jacquard carriage with the "peak" function, then simply insert a punched card, set the idle move in both directions (on the carriage S), we put such a number of needles into work on both needle beds so that the needles are knitted in a checkerboard pattern (the number of needles on the PI should be even) and we knit.
If there is no jacquard carriage, then we knit on a punched card, as I already wrote, but on the PI we set an idle in both directions, and the needles will have to be pulled out manually.
In general, the scheme for extending the needles when knitting JERSEY:
1ST ROW ZI: I.I.I.I.I.I.I.I.
PI: .I.I.I.I.I.I.I.I

2ND ROW ZI: .I.I.I.I.I.I.I.I
PI: I.I.I.I.I.I.I.I.
I- needle in position C or D (Silver), D or E (Brother).
. - needle in position B (does not knit)

By the way, on the same punched card, you can knit a "pockmarked" jacquard, slip, and a very beautiful mesh already. carriage. DOUBLE POINT JACQUARD If there is yarn from bobbins 32/2 (or "Lydia" Semyonovskaya), then we take yarn of 2 colors in 2 additions. This is the best option. But 400-600m. / 100gr is also normal.
We take punch cards for 2-font jacquard. You can try to knit without a 4-font flower bed, but then in the process of knitting you will see how it helps to easily change the color. Unfortunately, I did not find a punch card for 2-x font jacquard in the main set of punch cards. there is always a way out! I just took s/c №2 from the main set for a 1-f.machine. (You will see in the photo) and start knit from the 2nd row (this applies only to this p / c).
Now about the main thing.
The easiest way to knit:
We knit an elastic band 1x1 or 2x2 or a bar in circular knitting.
After the gum, we put all the needles on both fontures into work and tie the connecting row. (Carriage on the left).
We don’t change anything on the additional carriage (front needle bed), everything is in work.

We put a p / c (punched card). We put the side levers to work with p / c. DENSITIES ON THE CARRIAGES ARE APPROXIMATELY 4/4 or 5/5. We knit 1 row with the main color. (Carriage on the right).

We put the weave disk on the S-slip.
We knit 1 row. CHANGE COLOR. To do this, remove the main thread from the carriage and leave it in 4 colors. or simply take it to the edge of the fountain. We thread the finishing thread into the thread guide and fix the end in any convenient way. The thread should go between the needle beds. Insert it into the carriage.

We knit 2 rows. CHANGE THE COLOR.
We continue knitting, changing the color every 2 rows.
AS A RESULT ON THE FRONT SIDE ONLY THE LOOP WILL BE KNITTED ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN, AND ON THE OUT. ALL NEEDLES ARE 2 ROWS OF EACH COLOR.
