For those who are still not in the subject, Peppa Pig is a bright, mischievous pig girl who loves to jump in puddles and make loud grunts. Despite her origin, children simply adore her, among them she is very popular. To please your child creative gift, we suggest you tie the heroine of the famous cartoon. Knitting a head

For work you will need:

soft acrylic yarn in light pink, dark pink, red, a little white and black yarn for shoes and eyes;
a hook suitable for the thickness of the yarn;
needle;
scissors;
filler for toys: holofiber or synthetic winterizer.

We start knitting the head for Peppa pig from a patch.

We collect a chain of 6 air loops, close in a ring.
In each air loop we knit 1 single crochet. This is the first row.
In the second row, we knit 2 single crochets in each loop, we get 12 loops.
In the third row we add 6 columns without a crochet, in a circle we get 18 loops.
We knit the fourth row through the back wall of the loops of the previous row, without adding, so that 18 loops also remain.
From rows 5 to 9, we continue to knit 18 loops in each. It turns out this nose:

In rows 10 and 11, add 6 single crochet. You will get 24 and 30 loops in each row, respectively. All additions need to be made only on one side of the circle in order to get the shape of the head characteristic of Peppa.
In the 12th row, we do not make additions.
In the 13th row, add 6 more loops to get 36 single crochets.
From rows 14 to 20, we knit without changes, 36 single crochets in each row.

We fill with synthetic winterizer. Next, we will subtract.
From the 21st to the 25th row in each row we decrease 6 loops on the side of the circle on which the addition was made. In the last 25th row, 6 single crochets should remain.

Body and dress

Like all amigurumi toys, the torso for Peppa Pig is knitted in the round.

For work, we need 2 colors of yarn - light pink and red for the dress.

We start knitting with pink threads:

We knit a ring of 6 air loops, we knit the first row with 6 single crochets.
In the second row we make 12 single crochets.
From 3 to 8 rows, we add 6 loops in each, the 3rd row should have 18 single crochet, 8 - 48 single crochet.

We take red yarn, we continue to knit it.

In the 9th row we knit 48 single crochets with red yarn.
At 10 - also 48 sc for the back wall of the loops of the previous row.

In the 11th row we leave 48 sc.
From the 17th row we begin a gradual decrease by 6 loops, it turns out 36 sc.
In the 18th row we do not make changes, we knit 36 sc.
In the 19th row we decrease 6 loops, we get 30 sc.
We fill the body with synthetic winterizer.
21 rows are reduced by 6 loops, we knit 24 sc.
In the 22nd row we also knit 24 sc.
In rows 23 and 24 we decrease by 6 loops in each, we get 18 and 12 sc, respectively.

Let's get to the skirt. From the first row, knitted with red threads, we knit a row of 54 RLS. We make the second row with the same number of loops.

Sew the head to the body.

Ears on top

I make a ring of 6 air loops, we knit the first row of 6 RLS on them. In the second row we add 6 loops, getting 12 sc. From rows 3 to 5 we knit 12 sc in each. And in the 6th row we decrease by 4 loops, leaving 8 sc.

We make out the muzzle

For the face of the pig, we need to tie the eyes, cheeks and nostrils.

We begin to knit eyes with black yarn. To do this, we close 6 RLS in a ring. Then we take white threads and knit 12 sc around the black circle.

Eyes can be made in another way. Knit a circle of white yarn and sew black buttons to it. Or glue ready-made eyes bought at the store.

The cheeks are knitted with dark pink threads as follows: we close the ring of 6 sc, in the second and third row we add 6 sc each. And sew them to the head of our girl.

We get the nostrils by closing 4 RLS in a ring. We sew them to the nose.

We embroider a cheerful smiling mouth with a red thread.

Shoes for Peppa

For shoes you need black yarn and some filler. We make a ring of 6 sc. In the second row we knit 12 sc. From 3 to 7 rows - 18 sc. In the 8th row we reduce the circle to 12 sc. We fill with synthetic winterizer.

From the 9th to the 12th row we knit 12 sc, in 13 - 6 sc, in 14 - 3 sc.
