Hat made of yarn with sequins. Beige set with sequins: hat and scarf

Greetings to everyone who looked at my review. I'm glad to see you.

I wandered around the Semyonovskaya Yarn store, which is located at the manufactory, and found on the side of the main hall with the enterprise's "native" products, a whole hall of Turkish yarn ALIZE, my eyes ran wide from the variety of different threads: with lurex, and sectional dyeing, and with pompoms, and with sequins, and with lurex and sequins at once, of different thickness, softness, all kinds of colors, mmmm ....

I picked up different threads there, in this review I will talk about the non-standard yarn Alize Angora Gold Star

soft, fluffy, with sequins. There were a lot of colors to choose from, from snow-white and pastel to the brightest, my choice fell on a calm grey colour. 1 skein contains 100 grams of yarn.

Instructions and composition of yarn Alize Angora Gold Star

Recommended knitting needles 4 or 5, I knitted a scarf and a hat on knitting needles 4.5.

The thread is an interlacing of threads - the main thread, acrylic-mohair and thin elastic-woolen threads on which sequins are strung:

How the yarn behaved when knitting - generally good. I would not recommend it for beginners, but with minimal experience, you can handle it. The only thing to watch out for is the thread tension, since the elastic thread with sequins can be stretched when knitting, wrinkling the warp thread, so the yarn should slide freely between the fingers when knitting. Sequins do not interfere with knitting, ideally easily slip into loops.

On a knitted fabric, sequins line up on both sides (both from the face and from the inside), without distorting anything, and there are quite a few of them:

Alize Angora Gold Star yarn is amazingly economical It took 150 g for a scarf 45 cm wide and 190 cm long.

And 500g per hat

The set turned out to be original, attracts attention, they even asked me where I bought it. They were very surprised when she said that it was self-tying. The sequins shimmer very beautifully when you walk on a winter evening under the lanterns and snow falls, and also sparkles.

I really liked knitting from Alize Angora Gold Star yarn, but I wouldn’t take it on any underwear (such as a pullover) for myself, it’s too biting. This is not particularly surprising, for my sensitive skin, any mohair yarn will be biting, until I met mohair that did not bite.

Clothes knitted from Alize Angora Gold Sta,r yarn will surely turn out to be very elegant and not casual, few dress codes allow such sparkling clothes at work. This is just the way out, where you need to shine))))

What else in this thread surprised me and for me it is a plus from the "miracle" category - I had to bandage the hat, initially it turned out to be too small. From experience, dissolving yarn with mohair is more than problematic, and then there are sequins. I thought I was exhausted .. But I managed to unravel the knitted fabric without any problems, which was a pleasant surprise.

I wish you all only successful shopping and good mood!

For a long time I could not find a headdress under mink coat. Tried many different options: And mink hat, And knitted hat braids, and different berets that I have in my wardrobe. Nothing fit.

And then, I saw on one girl, in the same fur coat as mine, a black beret. And I decided to knit a black, but unusual beret. I chose black yarn with lurex and sequins Alize Sal Abiye 100 gr./410 m. 80% acrylic, 10% polyester, 5% sequins, 5% metallic. I really liked this yarn. Knitted in 2 strands crochet No. 3. 1 skein gone. I plan to knit another bag from this yarn in the same collection.

I decided to do a little jewelry, as the yarn is very bright in itself, a lot of shine. I knitted several elements using the freeform technique and sewed them on. To make the beret warm, I sewed a fleece lining.

Tied to a head circumference of 54 cm. Knitted according to this pattern

I have detailed master class how to knit beret. he is

Freeform elements can be made different, I have these berries, berries with petals from twisted columns "Clowns" and a cord on bourbon. So far, I don’t have diagrams and photos of how to make these elements, but in the near future, I plan to do all this in the form of a short master class.
