Santa Claus tilde, he is Santa with a deer. New Year's Santa Claus in the style of a tilde To sew a tilde doll of Santa Claus, you will need

For every child, the New Year is one of the most magical holidays, and they believe in the good Santa Claus, who fulfills cherished desires. We bring to your attention a master class on sewing Santa Claus Tilda, which in new year's eve will surely fulfill the cherished desire.

To sew Santa Claus Tilda you will need:

Beige linen body fabric;

Striped calico for legs;

Red, beige and white fleece for clothing;

White wool for felting, for beard and hair;

Sintepon / holofiber for filling;

Pattern;

Sewing accessories.

Santa Claus Tilda step by step:

Print the pattern on A4 sheets. Santa Claus will be about 40 cm tall. Cut out the details of the torso and arms from flesh tissue, the details of the legs from striped calico (photo 1). Then cut, sew and stuff (photo 2). Stuff the legs only up to the indicated line, and sew or gather (form a fold) (photo 3).

Sew the body at the bottom with a hidden seam, sewing in the legs at the same time (Pic 4). Bend the formed corners on the sides and hem to the body. Thus, the toy turns out to be “more assiduous” (photo 5).

Don't stuff the handles all the way. Sew them to the body symmetrically with a hidden seam (you can pre-pin with pins) (photo 6-7). The finished body needs to be dressed and decorated (photo 8).

Cut out the pieces of clothing. Do not leave allowances on the bottom of the sleeves, jackets and pants. First sew the shoulder seams on the jacket. Then sew on the sleeves (photo 9). Sew the details of the pants, cap and boots (photo 10). From white fleece or felt, cut out a few trims for edging clothes and a placket for the “face” of the jacket (photo 11). Sew the placket onto the front of the jacket using cross stitches (Pic 12).

Fold the details of the inlay in half and sew the needle forward with the usual seam along the bottom of the jacket, sleeves (still unfinished), do the same with pants, a hat (photo 13-14). But you can also sew differently: first sew the jacket entirely, and only then hem the trim. Sew the jacket (at the side seams) (Pic 15). Sew on the collar. For the collar, use the fleece hem (Pic 16-17).

Turn the garment inside out, iron if necessary. Dress up Santa Claus. Gather the pants on the abdomen (Pic 18). Sew a fleece pom-pom to the tip of the cap (make it from a circle, pulling it with a thread along the edge and filling it with padding polyester) (photo 19). Embroider the eyes. Sew the cap with a hidden seam to the head. Hide all knots on your head under a cap (Pic 20-21).

Make and sew on a beard (you can use felting wool, yarn). First, the beam must be stitched in the center (photo 22). Then bend along the seam, attach the beard to the face, outline with needles-pins (photo 23). And then carefully sew (at the seam) (Pic 24).

Snow Maiden. MK

Well, here comes the long-awaited and beloved holiday - New Year! And, of course, everyone is waiting for gifts and surprises this holidays! And here's one original gift, with your own hands, it will be very nice to get everyone, both an adult and of course a child! Offering you master class - snow maiden based on the Tilda doll.

To make a snow maiden, we need:

Pattern,

Cloth blue, flesh and red

gray fleece,

fur white,

Threads for sewing - white, blue, red,

Yellow floss or knitting thread,

2 beads for eyes

Sintepon,

For a Christmas tree on the back of the Snow Maiden you will need:

7 beads for decorating the Christmas tree,

green fabric,

silver ribbon,

Sintepon,

red lace,

So, let's get to work. Let's make a pattern for the doll and her coat, as shown in the figure:

Then we lay out all the details of the patterns on the fabric, fold the fabric in half, trace and cut out with allowances for the seams.

First of all, we sew the cap to the pattern of the body, and then we grind the details of the body with the front sides inward, we do not sew the lower cut.

We make notches with the tips of scissors and turn inside out. Since our parts have curved shapes, and notches will help us for better eversion and there will be no creases in the seams. We fill with synthetic winterizer.

We take red fabric for hands, as we will have mittens. We take the details of the hands (fabric with the right side inward), grind it, make a small incision on top of the hand and turn it inside out and stuff it with padding polyester.

We sew the incision of the eversion manually and with this seam we sew the arms to the body with hand stitches through and through.

We take the gray fleece with the front sides inward and cut out the felt boots. We grind, do not touch the upper cut, through it we turn the boots inside out and stuff them.

On the body, we bend the lower section inward and fasten it together in the middle (like a bodysuit), insert the felt boots with a needle into the resulting holes, and sew with hand stitches.

Now we will start making the doll's coat. Stitch the shoulder seams right side inward.

Then we hem the bottom of the sleeve and collar to the wrong side, with hand stitches, since these seams will be covered with fur, and the lower cut to the front.

For convenience, everything is stitched by hand stitching, as the details are small. We dress our snow maiden and sew up the coat shelves by hand.

We take fur and cut strips with a width of 0.7 mm with a blade. We sew these strips with hand stitches along the shelf, making a fastener, collar, cuff, bottom of the coat, cap lapel and pompom. Here, of course, everything depends on your imagination. You can use ribbons, threads, lace ...

Sew on the eyes. Threads yellow color cut into strips about 15 cm long. Divide this length in half and sew to the location of the pigtails, then we braid them, tie them with a bow. The length of the pigtail can be different, as well as its width. It all depends on your desire!

Now let's start making - Christmas trees. Its size: height 10 cm by 4 cm width of the lower section. It is made very simply, we fold the fabric with the front sides inward and cut out the Christmas tree. We grind, leaving a hole at the bottom.

This MK presents an interior doll Father Frost or Santa in the technique of quilting from the book by Tone Finnager "Happiness is homemade" with a winter collection, which contains patterns of beautiful New Year's decor:

Santa Claus is a toy of medium complexity, which, however, will take a significant amount of time to create. it is decorated with appliqués and hand-quilted, but the way it will delight generations of your family after is well worth the time spent!

Advice: to make the pattern for appliqué details easier to make, you can glue the fabric with interlining, and not waste time on quilting. True, then the clothes will look a little thicker.

The pattern can be slightly changed due to the fact that you have chosen for padding clothes - synthetic winterizer or batting.

How to sew

Body

Use a piece of cloth flesh tone for body parts. Bend it in half and iron it. Transfer the patterns of the body, arms, legs to it.

Sew them, not forgetting to leave holes at the body, as noted in fig. Oh, there are two of them, but make a small seam on both sides of the base - so the material will not disperse. Now you can cut out the body parts.

Turn all parts of the toy right side out, iron and fill with stuffing.

Now you need to bend the allowances at the upper holes of the arms and sew them in place of the shoulders. Allowances from the bottom of the body must also be bent in order to sew on the legs. The result should be as in illustration C. Ignore the clearly visible seam - it will not be visible under the clothes.

Outfit

This toy will be placed on the wall, ie. her back will be hidden, so that only the front of his clothes will be quilted, except for the sleeves. The sleeves will be sewn from one piece and bent over, so their back will still be visible.

You will need patterns for all the details of clothing. Iron the material, then draw on it and cut out the parts of the jacket and hat. Cut out appliqué patterns. You can cut out one part of the required size.

Sew or glue the appliqué to the front of the jacket (illustration D). On sleeves and pants, fold over the appliqué edges and sew where they meet. Don't forget allowances.

Fold and glue the edge in the form of a wave along the edge of the part and sew it in the indicated place from the inside. Remove the paper and sew, securing the seam allowances, as in illustration E, where the edge of the part is indicated by a thin dotted line.

Connect the front, batting lining and "back" of all parts. The same applies to the back of the jacket and hat, although they will not be decorated. You should end up with 2 jacket pieces, 2 cap pieces, 4 pants pieces, and 2 batting lined sleeves as shown in illustration F.

Quilt in front of jackets, hats, in front of trousers and sleeves. This must be done exclusively within the outlined contour of all the listed details. Quilt other parts if you like.Next, cut out the details, leaving allowances.

Jacket

Connect the back and front of the jacket and sew them on the shoulders. Carefully unfold and sew in the details of the sleeves (illustration G).

Fold the jacket again so that its parts match. Stitch all sides of it and sew the details of the sleeves. You need to sew around the perimeter of the quilted part, as shown in illustration H.

Make an incision on the allowances under the sleeves and reduce the allowances around the perimeter of the jacket to 5 mm. Turn it out. Cut a 6 cm strip for trimming the edges of the jacket and fold it in half, inside out. Attach it to the bottom of the jacket and sew, stepping back 1 cm from the edge, as in illustration I.

Unscrew the free edge of this strip and baste from the inside of the jacket. The hole for the neck is processed in the same way, but you need to take a thinner strip (3 cm) and sew it on, retreating 5 mm from the edge.

Roll up and iron the unsewn edges of the sleeves. If you want to sew them, then for this it would be better to turn the clothes on the wrong side and bast, tucking the edges.

Trousers

Sew both parts of the front part and 2 parts of the back of the pants in the same way as in illustration J.

Flatten them and sew along the front and back along the edges and between the legs, as in illustration K. Reduce the allowances around the perimeter of the pants. Roll them up around the leg and baste (illustration L).

Turn the pants right side out, iron the bottom and pull over the doll. They will sit tight enough that they do not need to be sewn on. Don't roll up your pants. Also wear a jacket.

Cap

To make it easier to sew the edge of the hat, trim it, cut a strip of fabric 3 cm wide and sew it to the front of the hat with a sewing machine, leaving allowances everywhere (figure M). Sew the details of the hat, bending the border so that it does not penetrate the seam (illustration N).

How to make a beard

Cut it out and cut the fabric in the allowances between the folds. Cut the fabric on one side of the beard, as in illustration R, and turn the piece right side out. Then iron it with an iron.

Quilt it as shown by the dotted line on the pattern.

Pin this part to the toy and put on the hat to try on how it will look. Mark a spot for the eyes. Remove everything again to draw the face. Acrylic paint is required for the eyes, powder or pastel for rosy cheeks, and eye shadow will also work.

Pin the beard back, then baste it. Do the same with the hat.

boots

To make boots, it is enough to paint the lower part of the legs with acrylic.

Details

Decorate the top of the garment with buttons. Sew a miniature Christmas tree and attach it to the palm of Santa Claus.

Christmas tree pattern made of fabric in tilde style

Sew to the neck on the back of the toy small hook to hang it later.

Linen came in handy for the body of Santa's quilting toy excellent quality, for jackets and pants - white calico, for decoration - chic jacquard.

You need to prepare for the New Year in advance, it is best to start preparing a month in advance, and even better one and a half. New Year decoration made by hand are positively charged with energy, so they will definitely bring warmth and comfort to your home. Tony Finnanger offers many different New Year and Christmas characters and master classes on them, her collection includes a tilde Santa Claus, and Santa, cute gnomes and funny lambs. Tilda Santa Claus can settle under the Christmas tree and become wonderful decoration or a gift for friends.

In order to sew a santa with a deer, we need simple materials, pattern and our master class.

materials

  • body cloth
  • Fabric for clothes
  • beard yarn
  • threads for sewing
  • stuffing for toys (sintepuh or holofiber)
  • eye paint, blush
  • tools: needles, scissors, sewing machine, chalk for translation

Traditionally, Santa Claus is sewn in red and white, but you can change the image a little and sew a tilde santa in your favorite colors.

Pattern

We transfer the pattern to the pre-ironed fabric. We fold the fabric face inward and use a chalk or a special marker to redraw the details. Then we sew on a typewriter or manually. After that, you can cut out the resulting parts of Santa and deer, leaving 5-7 mm for the allowance.

Please note that Santa's legs consist of two types of fabric - striped and nude. Therefore, before we cut out the legs, it is necessary to sew these two fabrics in place and iron the seam between them. After that, we translate the leg pattern following the mark on the diagram. And again we sew-cut-turn out.

You need to stuff the toy as tightly as possible. To do this, use either synthetic winterizer or synthetic winterizer. You can help yourself with an ordinary sushi stick. Just look, do not overdo it - accidentally tear your Santa Claus !! A little tip - so that Santa's arms and legs do not stick out in different directions like a bodybuilder, they need to be stuffed just a little on top.

When the body, arms and legs are stuffed, you can collect the tilde: sew on the arms and legs.

Now we will make clothes for our tilde santa. We cut out the necessary details of the jacket, panties and cap.

At the jacket, first we sew the shoulder seams, then we sew the sleeves, and only now the side seams.

At the panties, we first sew the middle seam, and then the step seam. We sew an elegant cap for Santa's tilde, he is Santa Claus's tilda. Do not forget to decorate the clothes with white trim and embroidery. We fix pants and a cap on the doll.

Well, what is Santa Claus without a magnificent beard ?! We make a beard from threads for knitting suitable in color and texture. The easiest way is to wind the threads around the cardboard, cut along the edges and you're done! We outline the eyes of the tilde Santa Claus with the help of pins. You can draw eyes with black acrylic paint, and draw cheeks using ordinary blush or shadows. Sew on the beard with a hidden seam.

So, meet the first pattern from the new book of 2014. We thought that many would want to sew this wonderful Santa Claus, and since there is not much time before the new year, and the process is not easy, we decided to lay out this particular pattern first.

It will take a lot of time to create this delightful Santa Claus, which will be quilted by hand and will be decorated with applications, but the joy that he will bring to more than one generation of your family every year is worth it.

To simplify the pattern for appliqué details, you can use interlining instead of quilting. The jacket and pants will then look a little more voluminous.

YOU WILL NEED

  • Various fabrics
  • Interlining (optional)
  • Batting
  • 6 different buttons
  • Small hook or metal ring
  • Glue stick or glue gun
  • Long thin needle
  • Threads for sewing
  • Pointed wooden stick
  • Tweezers
  • Stuffing material
  • Pattern (click to enlarge)

PROCEDURE

torso

Take a piece of flesh-colored fabric large enough to cover the torso, two arms and two legs, fold it in half and iron. Place the patterns. Outline the torso, two arms and two legs.

Sew the parts in a circle, paying attention to the location of the holes. The two holes for the base on both sides of the torso should remain open, but a small seam must be made on each side of the base to hold the fabric (see fig. A). Cut out the details.

Fold the edges of the openings of the torso across so that the seams are on top of each other. Sew up the holes to form the base (see fig. B).

Turn the pieces right side out and iron. Stuff the parts with filler.

Fold the seam allowances around the hole at the top of the handles and sew them to the shoulders. Fold in the allowances at the bottom of the torso, place the legs and sew them on. Finish work on the doll in accordance with fig. C. Clothing will hide the seams around the arms and legs.

Cloth

This Santa Claus is supposed to be hanging on something, not sitting. Therefore, you need to quilt only the front of the jacket, panties and hats. The sleeves need to be quilted front and back as they are sewn in one piece and are folded over so that the reverse side is visible from the front as well.

First, print and assemble the pattern for the front of the jacket. Next, print out the patterns for the sleeves, panties, and hat.

Place the pattern for the front of the jacket on a freshly ironed fabric and draw the outlines and all the details for the appliqué. Repeat the same for the front of the hat, four pieces of panties and two sleeves, on the curved edges of which the appliqué will be made.

Cut out appliqué pieces. In general, the same shapes can be used several times, so you need to cut out one piece of the desired size.

Sew the appliqué on the front of the jacket as in fig. D. On the sleeves and legs, the edge with the appliqué must be turned up and stitched at the junction. Leave seam allowances on all sides.

Fold and glue the wavy edge along the edge of the pattern and sew it in the appropriate place on the wrong side of the fabric only. Pull out the paper and sew, securing the seam allowances correctly (see fig. E). A thin dotted line indicates the edge of the pattern.

Gather the front, padding (batting) and back of each piece. The same applies to the back of the jacket and hat, although they will not be appliquéd.

In total, you should get two parts for the jacket, two for the hat, four for the panties and two sleeves with padding (batting) (see Fig. F).

Quilt the front of the jacket, the front of the hat, the two front parts of the panties and the sleeves. You need to quilt only inside the outlined contour of each part. Other details can also be quilted as desired.

After all the necessary parts are quilted, cut out the patterns with a 1 cm allowance at the edges, so that you can sew the parts.

Jacket

Connect the corresponding sides of the front and back of the jacket and sew along the shoulders. Spread the sewn parts apart and sew on the sleeves (see fig. G).

Connect the corresponding sides of the jacket. Sew each side of the jacket and sew the sleeves. The seam should go along the quilted part along the outline of the pattern (see fig. H).

Trim the seam allowances under the sleeves and reduce the seam allowances throughout the jacket to 5-6mm. Turn the jacket inside out.

Cut a long strip 6 cm wide to frame the hem of the jacket and fold in half, wrong side inward. Attach to the unsewn edge of the jacket and sew at a distance of about 1 cm from the edge (see fig. I).

Unfold the edge of the hem along the edge of the jacket and baste from the back.

The opening for the neck can be edged by hand in the same way, only this time the border should be narrower. Cut a strip 3 cm wide, fold in half and baste in the same way as on the bottom edge of the jacket, approximately 5 mm from the edge.

Unfold along the neck and sew from the inside of the jacket. This is an optional item as the neckline will be hidden by the beard.

Simply fold over and iron the unsewn edge of the sleeve. If you want to sew a sleeve lapel, it will be easier to do this by turning the jacket inside out and basting by turning the edge.

Panties

Sew the left and right parts of the front and back of the panties as shown in fig. J.

Straighten the sewn parts and sew the front and back sides and between the legs as shown in fig. TO.

Trim the seam allowances on both sides and between the legs. Turn the seam allowances at the openings of the legs and baste them while the panties are turned inside out, as in fig. L.

Turn the pants inside out, iron the bottom edge and put them on the figure. They should fit quite snugly and don't need to be fastened. Do not roll up the top edge of the panties.

Now put on Santa Claus his jacket.

A cap

Stitching the edge of the hat neatly when the hat is already sewn is quite difficult, given that it will be more visible than the edge of the neckline on the jacket. Therefore, cut the edge of the hat, cut a strip of fabric 3 cm wide and sew the strip to the front of the hat with a sewing machine.

Leave allowances on both sides so that the border does not interfere when the hat is sewn (see fig. M).

Sew the two halves of the hat, folding the hem on both sides so that it does not get into the seam (see fig. N).

Trim the seam allowances and turn the hat right side out using a wooden stick or similar. The rest of the border must be sewn along the edge of the hat by hand (see fig. O).

Then unfold the border around the edge of the hat and baste (see fig. P).

Beard

Iron a piece of fabric large enough for the two parts of the beard, bringing the right sides together, and place a piece of padding (batting). Draw the beard and sew along the contour (see fig. Q).

Cut out the beard and make notches in the allowance where the seams wrap between the folds.

Cut a hole in one layer of fabric and turn the beard completely inside out using a wooden stick or similar tool. Iron the beard (see fig. R).

Quilt the beard approximately as shown by the dotted line on the pattern.

Attach the beard to the figurine with pins and put on the hat. Use the pins to select the location of the eyes.

Remove the beard and hat and make a face. Draw eyes acrylic paint, blush cheeks with powder or pastel.

Reattach the beard with pins before basting it in place, and then sew on the hat.

Boots

Boots can be painted with fabric paint.

Cut two strips of fabric for the edging of the boots, about 3 cm wide. Iron the strips along the entire length, bending them so that the strips are 1.5 cm wide and bast the strip around each leg so as to hide the edge of the drawn boot.

finishing touches

Sew buttons to jacket.

Sew a small Christmas tree without stem. Attach the Christmas tree to your hand with pins, then baste or glue with a hot glue gun.

Attach a small loop or metal ring to the back of the neck so that the figurine can be hung.

If your arm is sticking out due to the thickness of your clothing or your legs are sticking out, you can put a couple of stitches between the sleeve and the jacket and between the legs so that the arms and legs lie properly.
