Character: The most famous astrologer in our country - the astronomer Steklyashkin - is familiar to us from the book of Nikolai Nosov "The Adventures of Dunno". An active and inquisitive character is much at all kinds of inventions, but sometimes (because of his modesty) one gets the impression that it is easier for him to communicate with the stars than with l people.

Costume: The stargazer is easily recognizable by his blue robe with large yellow stars and a cone-shaped headdress with a tassel at the end; in his hands he holds his favorite attribute - a spyglass.

Robe can be remade from mother's blue or black, if available, if not, then it can be easily made from a piece of blue fabric. To do this, you need to build a pattern of a robe on paper (see Fig. 14 “Drawing of the Astrologer's costume”), and then transfer it to the fabric using a bar of soap or tailor's chalk. Cut out the details of the dressing gown (the main part and two sleeves), remembering to add 1 cm for seam allowances. Stitch shoulder seams and overcast. From yellow fabric (yellow brocade will look especially elegant), cut out the finishing strap of the robe, (“stitch the strap along the shoulder seam. Fold the two parts of the strap face to face and stitch along the outer edge, mm back to the front side. Fold the strap and the base of the robe facing face and sew along the edge.

Of the same yellow fabric as the plank, carve out the stars and stitch them on the main part and sleeves, using the scheme (see Fig. 14 "Drawing of the Stargazer costume"). Stars can be stitched using a zigzag stitch (almost all modern household sewing machines sew this stitch) or with a normal stitch, in which case the edges of the appliqué can be folded over. Stars can also be glued on. Moreover, it is not necessary to make them from weaving, they can be cut out of paper and glued or attached with a stapler.

Stitch sleeves with main piece. Overcast the seams of the sleeves. Stitch the side seam of the robe, passing into the bottom seam of the sleeve. Overcast the side seam of the dressing gown and the bottom seam of the sleeve. Fold up the bottom of the robe and sleeves. Iron the finished robe.

Cap can be made from thick paper. To do this, it is necessary to cut out the detail of the cap from thick paper according to the drawing, glue it along the side allowance, after gluing yellow stars, as shown in the drawing. Glue a brush to the top of the cone, made as follows: cut a strip of paper (20 x 7 cm), without reaching the edge, into strips 0.5-1 cm wide, roll into a tight tube and secure with tape or thread. Attach the finished brush to the end of the cone on a string.

Spyglass It can be a toy or even a real one (!). You can also make it from thick paper in black or white, followed by painting. To do this, cut out the parts of the telescope from paper and glue them together. To make a large phalanx of a telescope, glue a rectangle according to the allowance - you get a cylinder. Glue a “magnifying glass” to the upper base - a circle blue color, which is pre-cut along the edge at the distance of the gluing allowance. Glue a black circle to the lower base in the same way, which also has a hole in the middle with an allowance for gluing for subsequent attachment of the middle phalanx. The remaining phalanxes are made in the same way, with the only difference being that a circle with a hole on one side is glued to the middle phalanx, and a circle without a blue hole is also glued to the small phalanx on one side.

After making all the phalanges, glue them together according to allowances. All! The pipe is ready and calls for new discoveries!!!
