Rubber

An even number of loops.

Facial rows: hem, alternately 1 front, 1 purl, hem.

Purl rows: knit loops according to the pattern.

Braid pattern

The number of loops at the beginning is a multiple of 29 + 17 (3) 17 + 2 edge = knit acc. scheme. On it are given the front rows. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern.

For the 1st and 3rd sizes, start with 1 hem and loops before rapport, constantly repeat the rapport, finish with loops after rapport and 1 hem. For the 2nd size, start with 1 edge, constantly repeat the rapport, finish with loops to the arrow and 1 edge.

Run 5 times 1-8th rows = 40 rows, perform 1 time 41-50th rows and repeat 4 more times 43-50th rows = 42 rows, perform 1 time 83-92nd rows and then constantly repeat 89–92nd rows. After the 83rd row, the number of loops is a multiple of 23 + 11 (1) 11 + 2 edge.

Front surface

Facial rows - facial loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Knitting density

30.5 p. x 31.5 p. \u003d 10 x 10 cm, connected with a pattern of "braids";
20.5 p. x 29.5 p. = 10 x 10 cm, tied stockinette stitch.

Pattern

Completing of the work

Back

Cast on 144 (158) 172 loops on the needles and for the plank tie 1 cm = 3 rows with an elastic band, starting from 1 purl row and in the last purl row, evenly distributing, add 20 (21) 21 p. = 164 (179) 193 p.

Continue to work with a pattern of "braids".

As a result of decreases inside the pattern, after 26.5 cm = 84 rows from the bar, 128 (141) 151 p.

After 54.5 cm = 172 rows from the plank close for the shoulder bevel on both sides 1 x 8 (10) 11 p., then in each 2nd row close 2 x 8 (10) 11 p. when closing the loops, knit 2 x 2 loops together with the front one.

Simultaneously with the beginning of knitting the shoulder bevel, close the middle 54 (55) 55 sts for the neck, while closing, evenly distributing, knit 16 x 2 loops together with the front and finish both sides separately.

For rounding on the inner edge, close in each 2nd row 2 x 2 p., while closing, knit 1 x 2 loops together with the front one, respectively.

After 56.5 cm = 178 rows from the strap, close the remaining 9 (9) 11 sts of the shoulders, while again knit 2 x 2 loops together with the front.

Before

Knit like a back, but for a deeper neck, already after 48.5 cm = 152 rows from the bar, close the middle 30 (31) 31 p., while closing, evenly distributing, knit 10 x 2 loops together with the front.

For rounding on the inner edge, close in each 2nd row 2 x 4 p., while knitting 2 x 2 loops together with the front and 4 x 2 p., while knitting 1 x 2 loops together with the front.

Sleeves

Cast on 50 sts for each sleeve and knit a placket as on the back.

Continue with front stitch.

After 10 cm = 30 rows from the bar, add 1 x 1 p. for the bevel of the sleeves on both sides, then in each 12th row 8 x 1 p. (in each 8th row 12 x 1 p.) in each 6- m row 16 x 1 p. = 68 (76) 84 p.

After 52 cm = 154 rows from the plank, close all loops.

Assembly

Run shoulder seams.

For the plank, cast on circular needles along the edge of the neckline 92 (94) 94 loops and knit 2 circular rows with an elastic band (= alternately 1 front, 1 purl). Then close all the loops according to the pattern.

Sew on the sleeves, complete the side seams and the seams of the sleeves.

Thus, 1 path was formed on each side: with an inclination to the left (at the beginning of the row) and with an inclination to the right (at the end of the row). Continue to knit as established, moving the loops on each side of the fabric and replacing them with a striped pattern. When 2 outs (center loops) remain between the two tracks, change the direction of the loops = 60 loops of the striped pattern, 5 loops each 2 slope tracks, 2 center loops and 2 edge loops. Place the marker in the center (between the two center loops).

Thus, 2 tracks are restored with 5 loops on each side for moving in opposite directions. Move stitches from the center as set until there are 32 stitches in the center (between tracks).

Neck execution.

Knit a purl row. In the next front row, continuing to move the loops, close 22 central loops for the neck of the back from the second ball, knit the row symmetrically. Next, knit both sides at the same time from different balls, keeping the loops moving. Knit a purl row. In each front row close 2 times 2 loops on each side of the neck. Knit a purl row. Then, in each front row, dial on each side 2 loops 2 times, 3 loops 2 times and 5 loops 1 time = 30 loops. Cut the thread of the second ball and continue working on all loops.

Front canvas.

Next, knit the cast-on loops with the main combined pattern, continuing to move the loops and restoring the main pattern exactly as on the back canvas, but in reverse order. In the process, you can try on a poncho to determine the length of the front. On the last row of the combined pattern, dec 5 sts in the braided stripes. Switch to 4.5 mm needles and work 20 rows in ribbing. Finish on purl row. Knit 1 row and cast off all sts.

Completion.

Fold the finished canvas exactly in half, matching the sides AC and BD. Run the side seams to the desired height, leaving wide armholes. From front side, on circular needles 4.5 mm, length 60 cm, pick up and knit facial loops along the armhole. Connect in a circle and knit 2 rows of facial loops. Close loops. Finish the armhole on the other side.

From RS, on circular needle size 4.5 mm, length 40 cm, pick up loops and knit along the neckline. Join in a circle, knit 2 rows and close the loops.

30.5 p. x 31.5 p. \u003d 10 x 10 cm, connected with a pattern of "braids";
20.5 p. x 29.5 p. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with the front stitch.
