Bracelet made of beaded braids "blue of the sea". Beaded necklace "French braid" Beaded braid type bracelet

Good afternoon, dear needlewomen!

Probably, you have often caught yourself thinking that beaded jewelry is incredibly beautiful, and you always wanted some kind of bracelet, pendant or necklace made by yourself. However, you were embarrassed by the fact that there are many schemes and tricks in beading, and you thought that it would be difficult and almost impossible to do it yourself. We dispel your doubts, because the master class that you will see in this article is so elementary that it is suitable even for a beginner in beading.

So, in this article you will learn how to make a simple and incredibly effective necklace - a five-strand braid with your own hands from beads step by step and see a video master class.

DIY beaded necklace

In order to make a delicate and spectacular five-strand pigtail necklace, we need the following materials:

  • Czech beads №10 two colors
  • Fishing line 0.2 mm thick
  • Two jewelry trailers
  • Two pins with eyelets
  • Two rings
  • round nose pliers
  • Lighter
  • Scissors

We take ten pieces of fishing line 70 centimeters each, string beads on each piece so that a tail of 10 centimeters remains on each side.

The first and last bead on each segment must be passed with beads two or three times so that the beads do not move along the line and fall off.

We collect all 10 segments of the future necklace together and tie the ponytails into a knot.

We advance the knot as close as possible to the beads.

We tighten the knot.

Then once again we tighten the tails of the beaded necklace into a knot, tying them together again.

Cut off the excess ends of the fishing line with scissors

And burn them with a lighter.

We open the loop of the pin or pin, we hook the common fishing line.

Use pliers to close the ring.

Here's what should happen.

We put a limit switch on the pin. Optionally, additional glue can be used.

Bend the pin at a right angle. The bend must be made as close as possible to the end of the beaded necklace.

Then, with the help of round-nose pliers, we make a loop.

The first loop of a beaded necklace with your own hands is ready.

Now let's move on to weaving a beaded necklace. For convenience, we fix the necklace with adhesive tape to the working surface. We divide all beaded threads into five strands. Each strand consists of two threads.

In order not to go astray in weaving a necklace from a pigtail, it is better not to count the strands.

We work according to this scheme: first we take the leftmost strand, draw it under next thread,

and then we draw it over the next thread.

Now take the rightmost strand and draw it first under next thread,

and then above next.

According to this scheme of beading, weave a necklace to the end. The resulting pigtail can be left free, or you can tighten it and make it tight.

At the very end, we remove the stopper beads and remove the extra beads so that all the bead threads are of equal length.

When all the tails are the same length, we pass the last beads with a fishing line two or three times so that the beads do not fall off the fishing line.

Then we tie the tails of the beaded necklace into a knot.

I decided to please my little daughter with a bright bracelet. For this I have chosen a simple circuit, where the most difficult is the correct selection of colors.

For weaving a bracelet, I needed:

— Beads Czech Alabaster №10 red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink
— Colorless monofilament 0.1 mm
- Bead for clasp
- Two needles No. 12
- Scissors

You can buy everything you need in the HandMadeMart.net store.

We need to weave 3 chains of rings. I wove them in two needles, stringing beads simultaneously on 2 ends of 8 beads and crossing the ends of the threads in the last 9th bead. To make your bracelet rainbow, you must strictly follow the sequence of colors in each ring.

For your convenience, I assigned a serial number to each color and wove three different chains with a certain alternation. Now you need to intertwine the chains with each other, weaving them one into one. In photo 1, I numbered each chain so that it was clear how to start weaving.

In order for you to get such a pigtail, it is important that the first chain always goes from below (Fig. 4), into which the second chain is pulled, after it the third. For example, look at photo 1, the red ring of the first chain came out, then we stretch the third chain through the bottom green, and we stretch the second chain through the bottom yellow ring and green, so we get what is in photo 2, the first chain is at the very top.

And so on until the very end, pull the upper chains into the lower ring of the chain below them. Practice a few times and you will succeed. At the end we attach a bead for the clasp, and the last loop on the other side of the bracelet will serve as the second half of the clasp.

That's all, the bracelet is ready. Daughter really liked it!

The work was done by Paikova Svetlana.

Bead weaving is not just needlework, but also an art and a science at the same time. It is not easy for a beginner to master some of the techniques for working with this material. At the same time, beaded jewelry is one of the most spectacular, expressive, invariably eye-catching.
Today we will make a bracelet from beads and beautiful accessories for jewelry. To create it, you do not need to painstakingly assemble the product one bead at a time for several evenings. We will simply string the threads, and then weave them in different ways. The result will pleasantly surprise you!

Let's take the most “eternal” theme - the sea ... What could be more beautiful than blue waves playing in the bright sun, fresh splashes of crystal water, white surf lambs! We will put all this together, inventing our bracelet. The sea is changeable and many-sided, and the shades of colors that it gives us are endless. The main thing in this decoration is the play of color.

For work, we will take not just different shades of beads - let it be also different sizes, shapes, textures and brilliance. In total, we need about a dozen different varieties, which in total make up the mother-of-pearl-blue scale of the future bracelet. You can also add a thread of light golden - it will remind you how cheerful sun glare dances along the waves. Accessories for this decoration need, of course, silver.
Let's start creating!

From accessories for jewelry we need:
- beads of 7-12 different varieties, a little of each, approximately 3-6 grams each;
- 6 small faceted transparent glass beads;
- nylon monofilament;
- clasp for a bracelet;
- 6 small hats-cones;
- 6 calottes;
- 2 rings with a diameter of 5 mm (all fittings, we recall, are of a silvery hue);
- needle for beads;
- instant glue;
- sharp small scissors;
- round pliers.

Stages of work.
In order to weave a bracelet, we first string beads on separate pieces of thread. Do not forget to leave free ends of 5-7 centimeters on both sides. The length of the beaded low should be about a quarter longer than the length of the future product, because then they will be woven into a braid or twist and become shorter due to bends. In total, they need to be made 15 pieces, all of the same length.

We tie the first bead with a loop of thread so that it does not slip.

What is good about monofilament - with its thinness, it is very strong and plastic, and even with a simple bend it keeps the shape that was given to it, and does not allow either the needle or the bead to slip off. Fishing line, which is often used by many needlewomen, in this sense is very different in properties, although it looks almost the same. Monofilament is much easier to work with.

Having stringed the beads to the desired length, we again make a loop, now around the last bead. We press it close to the neighbors. You don’t need to tie strong knots yet - this is a temporary fastening, and it will be easy to remove it if you need to add or remove some beads on some thread during the final assembly of the bracelet.

Now we very carefully collect the ends of 5 finished threads together - so that all the first beads are on the same level. You can intercept the bundle with an elastic band so that they do not move or fall.

Thread the free parts of the threads into the hole of the cone cap so that all five endings with extreme beads fit tightly into it. If its diameter is not enough or, on the contrary, it is too large, then for such models as in the photo, you can slightly squeeze the “petals” to the sides or inward with the help of round-nose pliers.

Next, put on a small faceted glass bead and pull the tails of the threads into the hole in the calotte. Tie them into a tight knot so that the calotte fits snugly with the base to the bead (and that one to the cone) and does not hang out. To prevent a bunch of threads with a knot from accidentally slipping back, you can include a small bead in it by putting it on one of the threads.

Fill the knot with glue. After drying, cut off the excess tips and pinch the calotte with round-nosed pliers. In the same way, process the second end of the bundle of threads, and then make two more of the same blanks from the remaining 10 threads.

We thread the ears of the calottes from all three blanks into the ring and put on the loop of one of the parts of the fastener there. We clamp the ring with round-nose pliers.

Now we begin to braid a beaded braid (or twist, or both at the same time). The final look of the product will depend on the method that you choose (or come up with your own?). We show several options in the photo.

Hello needlewomen!

Today I will show you how to make wide bracelet- braid of beads. But it will not be a simple woven braid, but a braid planted on a base.

So the bracelet will not stretch, but will keep its shape.

I rate the complexity of the master class at 3 points out of 5. This middle master class which will be useful for beginners and will be of interest to professionals.

In the master class I will cover:

  1. What materials are needed to create such a bracelet.
  2. How to make a braid bracelet from start to finish.

So let's go!

Materials for work:

  1. Czech seed beads No. 10 (three shades). I took three colors (coral, pink and light orange).
  2. Japanese cubic seed beads 3 mm (two colors).
  3. Round agate beads.
  4. Beaded bicones.
  5. Nylon thread or thin fishing line.
  6. Needle for beading.
  7. Base (I have felt 1 mm thick).
  8. Eco-leather (it will be required for the wrong side).

That's all! Now let's start work.

Step 1.

First, let's draw a sketch of the bracelet. If you are used to working without a sketch, composing on the go, then this is your right.

I like to draw sketches, so you can better imagine what will happen in the end and what you want.

By the way, if you have not read the article on how to draw sketches of work correctly, then read Sketches of jewelry. How to draw and how to apply. I share my experience.

Step 2

We measure on the basis of the size of the bracelet. My bracelet is 15 cm long and 4 cm wide.

The edges are slightly rounded so that the bracelet is not square.

Step 3

Let's start to decorate the edges of the bracelet. To do this, sew three rows of beads on each side. different colors. As shown in the photo.

It turns out like this.

We do the same on the other side of the bracelet only with a different color of beads.

Step 4

Divide the base into three parts (along the long side). And let's start creating a braid.

To do this, we will pass the needle with the thread from the inside out, from one edge of the bracelet. And we will start to collect beads and beads mixed, observing the gradient of colors.

Approximately picking up each color of beads so that three parts come out.

The braid will consist of three strands, each with 5 threads. String the beads not exactly according to the size of the bracelet, but a little more (4-5 cm). we'll be braiding.

It turns out like this.

To make the braid easier to braid, I sealed the ends of the strands with duct tape.

Step 5

Now we braid the braid. In order for it to turn out even and not to “walk”, we fix the edge of the bracelet with a needle to the felt or other base.

Step 6

We begin to weave a braid in the usual way and sew the ends of each thread through the warps.

Here's what happens.

So that the braid does not dangle when worn, we sew each (or through one) thread to the base.

On a note!

Do not tighten the thread too much so that the braid does not “move out”.

Step 7

Now let's close the back.

Cut out cardboard according to the size of the bracelet and glue it to the bracelet. This is necessary so that the bracelet is not loose.

Then we measure the eco-leather also according to the size of the bracelet and glue it on cardboard.

It remains to process the edge of the bracelet.

How to do this can be found in detailed master class on processing the edge of the product How to process the edge of the product using the technique of beadwork. Step by step master class.

This is the underside.

That's all. Bracelet - a beaded braid is ready!

We put on and wear. This bracelet will look great with casual wear as well as evening dress.

The most ancient fashion- This is, for sure, a fashion for jewelry. And in this sense, a beaded necklace can be considered the main decor item at all times, because it looks great with any outfit and suits any style of clothing. I want to offer you one of the options for this jewelry - a large necklace with interlacing, which is not difficult to weave, but it looks very elegant, fashionable and elegant.

Beaded necklace

We will weave a beaded necklace simple weaving « french braid» of 4 elements. Don't know what it is? Now I'll tell you.

In fact, the birthplace of this weaving technique is Central Africa, Algeria. It was there that even in ancient times, ancient people braided their hair in such a way that they did not interfere with them either in hunting or in everyday life. This is evidenced by rock paintings found by one of the expeditions in the Sahara desert on the Tassilin-Adjer plateau.

Well, why French? In the 19th century, Algeria was colonized by France, which, among other things, added new "glamorous" trends to Parisian fashion. The latter borrowed not only bright colors and the original cut of clothes, but also new hairstyles with intricate weaving. It was in Parisian hairdressing that such a hair weaving technique was first used and it was called the “French braid”.

In the modern creative world, this method is used in many needlework processes - beading, weaving from rubber bands, making from strips, etc.

Weave a necklace with our own hands

We will weave a necklace, not a necklace, which is often confused by beginner needlewomen. Briefly, how do they differ:

Necklace- decoration for the neck with a pronounced front part;

Necklace- also an ornament for the neck, but having the same type of weaving without pretentious embellishments.

So, in order to make such a necklace, we need:

  • a package of beads (preferably one large, but you can take 2 or 4 different colors);
  • a skein of thin but strong fishing line;
  • a thin needle designed for beads (and preferably two);
  • huggers for beads;
  • clasp for necklace;
  • nail scissors.

To begin with, we must string the beads onto the fishing line with a thin needle, without cutting the fishing line from the skein. It is necessary to string a thread of such length that when divided by 8, equal parts are obtained. Enough 480 centimeters of thread with beads, based on the fact that the necklace should not be too short.

The next step is to divide the thread into 8 identical segments, each of which is equal to 60 centimeters. In order not to lose the beads after cutting the thread, the ends of each thread must be secured by passing the end segment of the fishing line through the last bead. It is not necessary to completely tighten the resulting threads. All beads should move a little along the length of the segment. This will give some freedom when weaving our braid. In the sense - French ... 🙂

Then all the ends of the threads on one side of all the segments must be threaded into one of the huggers, tied immediately after it, fastening to each other.

And now we divide all the threads into 4 parts, 2 pieces each. in each.

Next, we put the second on the third and draw it under the fourth and above the first. Then we put the third on the fourth and draw under the first and over the second, etc. Repeat all the steps until the braid is braided to the end of the threads.

The final stage of weaving a beaded necklace

We finish weaving an interesting beaded necklace and give it a holistic look. Next, you need to put on a second hugger for the bead, on the other hand. Just like we did at the beginning.

And now we string the bead on the fishing line, set fire to the tip and quickly extinguish the set fire to the fishing line. The molten thread should be shaped while it is still soft enough. We do the same on the other side.

Then we will thread the fishing line into the needle, set it on fire and wrinkle its tip so that it does not jump out of the eye. Next, we will stretch the thread under the hugger through the bead and bring it out through the hole in the bead. Do the same for the other side of the necklace.

Then we collect about 15-17 centimeters more beads on each side.

After that, we fix the clasp by making bartacks and removing the ends of the fishing line.
