What did you need to create the image and how long did it take you to create it?
All the May holidays we thought about how to build a car for dudes, and most importantly from what? We had nothing but deer. Then it took another week to make a frame for the car, now the question was how to upholster this thing. A piece of linoleum saved us. Then things went much faster. In the course went headlights from a motorcycle, a grill from an old box, for mirrors they used boxes from a sponge for shoes. The case was completed with spray paint and printing of logos and numbers. And, of course, deer. By June we made it.

The costumes were more difficult. The easiest way was to dress up my daughter, because. we had a dress and a fluffy petticoat, but the costumes for the rest of the participants were partially sewn, partially assembled from acquaintances, sewn in, customized. They made their own decorations and dyed shoes, everything was carefully selected and matched to the overall image.

What criteria were guided by when choosing the image of strollers?
With the ship, we wanted to surprise everyone with its scale. And when we were preparing for the Parade 2013, we really wanted to come up with something extraordinary.

How did the idea of ​​the image come about, what prompted the idea to create such a stroller?
The idea with the ship came to my husband’s head, and with the stove we did not think long about the image, because it was our son’s favorite fairy tale. And they came up with the idea that the stove would go by itself, like in a fairy tale.

Pirate costumes were collected from the wardrobe at the dacha :) Emelya's costume was sewn in parts, assembled in parts from the wardrobe.

How long has the image been created?
The carriage-ship was made for 3 days, most of it at night. And with the stove, of course, I had to work longer. First, for a week they bought the material from which the stroller was made, then for 3 days they made and painted the night before the parade :). Of course, it took a lot of strength, since we still had very small children, but we got the pleasure to the fullest :)

“The winning stroller recipe, in my opinion, is primarily in the non-banality of the plot and originality. Although, as practice has shown, the jury still chooses images that are more understandable and familiar to the eye. But it didn't bother me, and it doesn't bother me at all! I am a creative by profession, so it was important for me not to repeat some existing idea, but to do something unusual and always funny! My husband came up with the concept. When I was talking about doing something like that, he said: "Actually, our stroller looks like a mouth! Only there are not enough lips!" And the image was immediately born in my head, besides, the child was already almost 10 months old, and he didn’t have a single tooth yet - the topic is very relevant!

Well, it was not without the logo of the beloved Rolling Stones, lips were drawn and sewn from it!

Frankly, I worked on a typewriter for the first time since school lessons labor, it’s just that the process dragged on so much, and I wanted to see the result so much that all the cutting and sewing took only one evening! While sewing, I joked with my husband out loud, reworking well-known sayings on the topic of teeth.

But the most magical event happened not on the day of Mamparad, but two days before it - my son got his first tooth!

And two days before the parade, I got the idea how to complete the image and make it family-wide! Everyone quickly received titles - the son became the "Milk tooth", the father became the "Indigenous", and I got the "modest" image of the Wisdom tooth.

But this idea gave me a chance to try my hand at calligraphy and painting on fabrics! I applied the inscriptions on our T-shirts by hand, using acrylic paints.

The biggest reward for me was the smiles of passers-by and the surprised exclamations "Look, it's a mouth!" I realized that the goal was achieved! Well, it was quite unexpected when they announced that we won first place in our nomination! I am very grateful to everyone for the recognition!

By the way, when the discussion was going on, it turned out that not only we came up with the idea to depict a mouth! If I'm not mistaken, there was also a "smile" in Moscow, but according to the public, our mouth was much better and better made!

I really hope that this year I will be able to take part in the parade! I think it is necessary in a way, I hope that I will have time to implement it!

Dad's patience and skill, and materials - a frame from an old carriage, wooden beams, mesh for creating wheels, a lot of newspapers - for papier-mâché, paint, glue, nails ... and fabric for a flintstone car and for costumes.

We bought a tailcoat for the celebration of my son's birthday, we remembered that dad also has a tailcoat (my husband and I are engaged in ballroom dancing). Since we didn’t figure out how to dress up a stroller for dance costumes, we decided that a tailcoat is still suitable for musicians, but of course a musician needs a musical instrument. And what could be bigger than a piano?... We thought... and decided - to be a piano.
