Quilling snow maiden voluminous. Quilling master class of Santa Claus do-it-yourself paper

Master class by Irina Bazarova.

For us to work need:
1. strips for quilling in various colors;
2. quilling tool, tweezers, scissors;
3. glue;
4. paper.

We will analyze the technique in detail using the example of the Snow Maiden. So…

1. Face.
1.1. In order to make a face, you need to take seven strips of "Apricot" 3 mm wide. Let's take all seven strips and put them on top of each other, shifting a little. Roll into a strong roll.

1.2. To give the roll a convex shape, I use a jar of shoe covers =) On the inside, you must fix it with glue. We fix everything and everything so that it does not inadvertently fall apart =)

2. Hairstyle.
2.1. We do the hair in the same way, only we take seven strips of "Yellow Golden" 3 mm wide. We give the shape of a beam.

2.2. You can do other hairstyles too. Take three strips of "Yellow Golden" 1.5 mm and weave a pigtail. We make a bang from the remnants of yellow, giving it a shape.

3. Hat with pompon.
To make a hat, we need: four stripes "Blue Sky" 3 mm and a little white. We twist the roll and give it a conical shape. We make a pompom from a white strip 10 cm long and 5 mm wide. We cut a small fringe. We twist the roll and straighten the fringe.

4. Collar.
We will need half a strip of Sky Blue 3 mm, one strip of Sky Blue 10 mm and one strip white color 10 mm. From 10 mm stripes we make a fringe. We glue a strip of 3 mm and two of 10 mm each so that the fringe is “mixed”. We straighten the fringe.

5. Body (Fur Coat, Dress).
5.1. To do this, we need to sequentially connect ten strips of "Blue Sky" 3 mm each. I twist them immediately in the form of a cone. Boring slowly and carefully so that everything does not fall apart =)

5.2. We decorate the hem with a fringe of three white stripes 10 mm. We cut the fringe and glue it to the bottom of our fur coat. Lubricate the strip with glue on each turn. I did not get very nice from above. To correct this mistake, I took confetti, cutting them from the remains of a white fringe. When everything is dry, bend the fringe up.

6. Sleeves (hands).
To do this, take two sequentially glued strips of "Blue Sky" 3 mm (for each of the sleeves) and twist the cone. We will make a fringe on the sleeves from 7.5 cm strips of white color, 10 mm wide. Gently, so that the strips do not pop out, we bend our arms. We give the outline of the elbow. We will make the handles from one strip of "Apricot" 3 mm. We also twist the necessary shape at once.

7. Legs, shoes.
To do this, we need blue squares 3x6 cm. We give a slightly curved shape with large scissors to make it more convenient to twist into a tube. We twist with a rod from the handle, fix it with glue. We measure the required length of the tubes, cut off the excess. Since our torso is empty, I fix our future legs with a hot gun. It is necessary that everything sticks evenly =) We make shoes from two strips of "Blue Sky" 3 mm. We twist a tight roll, give it an oval shape and glue it to the legs.

Thank you for your attention!

Based on a paper cone, they are probably familiar to everyone. We will tell you how you can make such a craft more interesting using the simplest elements of the "" technique. Since the New Year is approaching, we will make a Snow Maiden.

First, a cone is made. We've done enough big size so that there is enough space for decorative elements. The base of the cone is about a third of a circle with a radius of 14 cm (just fits on an A4 sheet). Hands are cut out of the same paper.

White paper is needed for the face, so we make the head separately. The shape of a cylinder is more suitable for her than a cone, and then we will close the top with a hat. The height of this cylinder turned out to be about 3 cm. We drew the face with felt-tip pens, because the pencil drawing next to the saturated color of the paper looks too pale. To make the face ruddy, we used red watercolor.

The first decorative element is fur, which will decorate the hem, sleeves and hat. To make it, you need to cut a strip of white paper about 29.5 by 3.5 cm, fold it in half along the long side and make cuts at 0.5 cm intervals from the side of the fold, leaving the edge 1 cm wide intact. Next, the strip is straightened, the uncut edges are glued together overlap, it turns out a tube.

The hem is decorated with snowflakes made using the simplest elements of the quilling technique. First, a tight spiral is made from a narrow strip of paper (you can buy it or cut it yourself). Paper can be wound, for example, on a knitting needle, and then carefully removed from it. Then you need to ease the pressure on the edges, the spiral will unwind a little, turning into a free spiral. The edge is fixed with glue. When the glue dries, you will need to give the figure a diamond shape with your fingers. Finally, the rhombuses stick together to form a snowflake. All described elements are shown in the figure in order from left to right.

The edge of the sleeve is decorated with fur on both sides to make the sleeve look more voluminous. And one more decoration is based on the quilling technique. A strip of paper on both sides is twisted into identical free spirals, which are fixed with glue, and the remaining unused paper is bent across at an equal distance from them. At the point of contact, the spirals are also fixed with glue. Finished construction pasted on the sleeve.

The basis for the hat is a tight spiral. To save time and paper, we wound it on a felt-tip pen, and then decorated the remaining hole with a pom-pom made just like fur. To give the spiral the shape of a cap, you need to shift the layers with light pressure. Having achieved the desired result, we fixed the position of the turns by gluing a strip of paper from the inside. The bottom of the hat is trimmed with fur.

Now that almost everything is ready, you can glue the head, arms and decorations for the hem. The very bottom of the hem is decorated with fur, a collar and a vertical edge are also made of fur. With the help of the latter, you can hide the place of gluing the cone. Snowflakes are located symmetrically at the bottom of the hem. The last detail is the hair. The strands are spirals of 1-2 turns with long ends. These loose ends are glued to the top of the head. To make the Snow Maiden's hairstyle look beautiful, it is better if the length of the strands gradually increases from the temples to the back of the head. It remains to glue the hat, and the Snow Maiden is ready.
