Mk pattern pineapple crochet. Knitting patterns of the legendary pattern "pineapple

"Pineapple" is considered one of the most common openwork patterns in crochet needlework. The thing is not only in the relative simplicity of its knitting, but also in the final result of the process - a “pineapple” pattern made according to any of the numerous patterns turns out to be truly magnificent!

What is a pineapple pattern? The indicated openwork crochet element is used both in the classic wedge-shaped form and in a modified form - improved in shape, density and size. At the same time, any “pineapple” scheme will contain three main components:

  • leg - a fan-shaped solid base, all columns of which have a common beginning (can be st. b / n, st. s / n or with several crochets). It can be short (knitted from 1-2 rows) or modified (elongated), including up to 15 rows and giving the pineapple an elongated shape;
  • the central triangle is the decorative part of the “pineapple” with the main pattern (it can be solid or openwork). It is knitted from a sirloin net, arches from air loops, lush columns, "bushes" and many other patterns;
  • framing - a kind of “pineapple” frame, which is often knitted from “bushes” and is a common border for combining adjacent pineapple motifs.

The size of the future "pineapple" depends on how many double crochets are connected at the base, more columns - more pineapple. There are plenty of options for knitting pineapple - they knit such a pattern in the usual way, in a checkerboard pattern, in a spiral, with and without expanding the fabric.

Scope of the "pineapple" pattern

"Pineapple" is ideal for knitting flat or expanding fabrics. That is why it is often used in knitting models of women's and children's clothing (blouses, skirts, dresses, tunics, capes, shawls, boleros), as well as to create original interior decoration items (napkins, tablecloths, pillows, bedspreads, curtains and curtains).

For clothing size S, you will need about 300 grams of yarn. In order for the product to fit perfectly, you may have to redo the work.

Pineapple patterns

These blouses are crocheted in the round. Knitting always starts from the neck. We collect a chain of 199 air loops, and then we perform three rows of chains of 7 loops in this section. You should get 50 small chains. Then we knit as the diagram shows until the canvas reaches a length of 19 cm. The result will be 15 rapports and 5 full rows. We made the back element. Next, we continue to knit the motif in a circle - we make 2 rows, perform a decrease and knit 3-4 rows.

Now we separate the loops that go to the sleeves and knit the sleeves themselves. To do this, at the level where the notch is located, we collect 22 loops and connect the edges. Then we continue knitting in a circle, as the diagram shows.

The tunic is knitted in the same way, only after the waist it is necessary to increase the number of loops so that it sits well on the figure.

Among the openwork patterns designed for crocheting, "pineapple" can be called the most popular and versatile. Perhaps its wide distribution is due to the relative ease of execution, or also to the fact that the “pineapple” pattern (the hook is the tool with which the pattern is created) is great for beautifully expanding the details of the product.

What is a pattern?

The element that is called the term "pineapple" is used both in classical form, as well as modified. Improvements relate to its shape, degree of density, size, as well as patterns that are used to form the individual components of the "pineapple".

Any "pineapple" pattern (the hook is used to create the product) has several main components:

The “leg” of the “pineapple” pattern can be short, consisting of one or more rows. Some modified patterns provide for a rather long "leg", which includes up to 15 rows and gives the finished "pineapple" an elongated shape.

An openwork triangle, located in the center of each element, makes the pineapple pattern, crocheted, recognizable and serves as its main decoration. When it is performed, the fantasy of the craftswomen is not limited to specific rules. Is that observance of the obligatory triangular shape. The central component can be connected with a sirloin net, arches of air loops, lush columns, "bushes" and many other patterns. To give additional decorative effect it is decorated with beads, picot from air loops or using other techniques.

The “pineapple” pattern (the hook is selected according to the yarn) invariably includes a kind of frame that surrounds the element and is connected to it by chains of air loops. This pattern component is required for all patterns (traditional or self-designed). Often the frame looks like a column of “bushes”, but options are possible: using straight stripes or including patterns between the frame and the triangle.

"Pineapples" in flat canvases

This is the easiest way to use a pattern. As a result of knitting, the fabric does not change its shape and dimensions, that is, its width remains unchanged throughout its height.

The specificity of the "pineapple" pattern is that the paths of its frame form a wavy pattern. Therefore, creating an even canvas is not so simple work. It is required to constantly monitor that the “pineapple” scheme is observed. The hook is difficult for craftswomen precisely because you can imperceptibly shorten or expand knitting along the edge.

Circular fabric knitted with a pineapple pattern

The composition of many schemes with pineapple elements is extremely convenient for expanding canvases. Therefore, it is not surprising that the crocheted “pineapple” pattern is so often used to make wide skirts, dresses, coquettes, shawls, berets and other types of clothing. It is also often possible to see interior items that are connected with a “pineapple” pattern, for example, pillows, bedspreads, curtains, napkins.

As a rule, the expansion of circular canvases occurs with the uniform addition of columns and loops along the width of the entire row. Various methods are used to develop different schemes:

  1. Increasing the size of the rapport.
  2. Expansion of gaps between rapports.
  3. Gradual formation of new rapports.
  4. Knitting intermediate rows, after which they have large quantity rapports.

With regard to the pineapple pattern, all these methods are also applicable. The arc formed by the frame allows you to start the formation of a new element at the same time as completing the previous one. This feature is characteristic of almost all schemes that include more than one row of "pineapples".

Crochet doily. "Pineapples" - a recognized classic

This ornament allows the most different sizes and styles. "Pineapples" are convenient to combine with other patterns, placed in the center or along the edges of the canvas.

For this reason, circular patterns of napkins are popular with knitters who plan to crochet a beret or shawl. "Pineapples", the patterns of which include small cells and details, are suitable for knitting hats. And shawls, as a rule, are made on the basis of very openwork patterns.

Features of knitting shawls

This accessory has a double function: decorative and warming. The pineapple pattern can be used to work with warm or summer yarn. The photo below shows an example of how the circuit for was developed based on a round napkin.

The center consists of the napkin itself, the middle part is connected with a simple openwork pattern in compliance with the principles of expanding the circular fabric, and the elements running along the edge are the final decor of the shawl crochet. "Pineapples" (the schemes for their implementation remain unchanged) are placed in one or several rows. A shawl can be made when half of the pattern is completed, then it will look like a semicircle. In this case, the craftswoman used a three-quarter napkin pattern.

And in fact, and in another version of the product have a very beautiful appearance.
