Very different, but very snowy - snowmen in various techniques! MK compilation. Do-it-yourself snowman for the New Year - a lot of ideas and master classes for crafts Pattern of a snowman from a fabric toy

And today I want to show you a lot of homemade snowman ideas. All of them can be made with your own hands from improvised materials. You will probably even be surprised what possibilities are hidden in ordinary socks and plastic cups.

The main thing is to do all the crafts with the children, so you will create a community in the family and unforgettable memories. Of course, not all crafts will be easy, there are those that require accuracy and perseverance. But what will be the result!

ABOUT! Now let's do something very interesting! Specifically, we will make a cute snowman out of a sock. This is very simple craft Even a preschooler can handle it. Such a handsome man looks very neat and dignified. In general, let's find a pair of white, blue or light blue socks with whole toes and heels. And let's take 15 minutes.

Before I give you detailed master class, please find beads or pins for the eyes and nose, buttons, ribbons or other decor. I want the craft to be elegant.

And we will make such a handsome man.

Let's take:

  • 1 sock
  • hot gun or glue
  • scissors,
  • pins,
  • buttons,
  • thread.

First, cut the sock in half.

We take the part that has two open ends. And we tie the thread on one side. You need to do this from the wrong side.

Now we hide the knot inside, turning the sock outward, and inside we fall asleep rice.

You can use any large cereal - peas, buckwheat, lentils, etc.

Now we need to make sure that the cereal does not spill out of the workpiece. Therefore, we tightly tie the top of the sock.

It remains only to indicate the place where the head will be. To do this, we tighten it with threads.

The workpiece already resembles a craft. It remains for us to decorate it and put on a hat.

The cap can be fixed with hot glue. To do this, the second part of the sock must be tucked up and put on the craft.

There is another very functional sock snowman idea. Here it performs both a decorative and useful function.

Let's take:

  • sock,
  • hot glue,
  • bottle,
  • cotton wool or synthetic winterizer,
  • threads, felt for a hat.

It is better to take a glass bottle, not plastic. So it will be more stable and will not fall under the weight of pencils or flowers.

So, the first step is to measure the height of the bottle and put it on the toe. Everything superfluous from it must be cut off.

Then we apply a drop of hot glue from a thermo gun to the bottom of the bottle and put a sock on the bottle. So we fixed the fabric and glass.

Now you need to make the craft soft and voluminous. To do this, lay out cotton wool or synthetic winterizer in the space between the toe and the walls of the bottle.

We form the head with threads.

We tighten the edge of the sock at the neck. We also do this with threads. Then we designate the nose, eyes and mouth. For this purpose, the child can take markers.

We cut out a ring and a strip from felt, which is equal to the diameter of the inner part of the ring.

Glue the hat in place.

This craft can act as a pencil holder or a vase. Everything to your taste.

Another similar master class for creating the popular snowman Olaf. The first scheme described by me is taken as a basis.

From such crafts you can create whole compositions.

For decor, beads, ribbons, braid, sequins and even cones are used.

And if you wish, you can sharpen up and move away from patterns.

Such charm will definitely deserve its place of honor under the Christmas tree.

How to make crafts from plastic cups, step by step instructions

Another popular snowman idea is plastic cups. The craft turns out to be voluminous and resistant to rain, snow and winds. Therefore, it is often made to decorate the yard, street, or as a school decoration.

And again, everything is quite simple and clear. However, we take a decent amount of time, because you need to process a lot of cups.

Let's take:

  • cups,
  • stapler,
  • cardboard,
  • scotch.

So, the cups will need more than 200 pieces. Stock up in advance. The circle is up to you. The more you lay out the first circle, the wider the ball will be.

So, from the cups lay out a circle. Then with a stapler we fasten each piece with the neighboring ones.

We make subsequent rows in the same way, but reducing the number of glasses. Do not forget to connect the rows with a stapler.

You need to make 2 balls. One more, the other less.

We connect them together so that the smaller blank is higher - this is the head.

Now we make a nose out of cardboard. To do this, we turn it into a cone shape and glue it with tape. If this is a craft for the street, then you need to completely glue the entire cardboard.

We insert the nose into the glass and decorate the snowman with scarves, vests or hats.

But after all, smaller toys can be made from cups. You just have to turn them upside down and decorate beautifully.

How do you like the idea? I think that all this is very simple, however, it greatly inspires the creation of such crafts.

Do-it-yourself snowman for the new year from threads and glue

And the kids will love the idea with threads and PVA glue. We take the usual air balloons. The execution technique is quite simple, we have already done crafts based on it.

Let's take:

  • thread,
  • PVA glue,
  • ball,
  • paper.

We need to inflate the balloon to the size we need. Then we take out the threads and PVA glue. It is better to take it in large jars. Now there are two options: You can wrap the thread around the ball, simultaneously coating each row with glue. Or you can poke a hole in the tube of glue with knitting needles and thread a thread through it. So it will immediately be saturated with the composition and easily stick to the ball.

Then leave the ball to dry completely. After 6-12 hours, we burst the rubber sheath and carefully tear it off the threads. The result is a ball shape! We need at least two such balls.

Now let's make carrots. To do this, we twist the cardboard into a cone, wrap it with cling film. And according to the described scheme, we wrap it with orange threads with glue. Dry, take out the cone and peel off the polyethylene from the threads. It remains the turn of the decor.

From such crafts, you can combine whole compositions.

Original voluminous paper snowman and other ideas

Now let's take paper and think about what can be done from it. And then immediately there are a great many ideas!

We will do several options. And the first thing I want to show you is such a voluminous craft. The whole process of its creation is shown in detail in the photo.

Master class №1

You will need two A4 sheets for drawing a snowman and drawing trees. This is applied to different leaves to achieve the effect of volume.

Then we take two blue sheets of cardboard. One will act as the background, and the other as the front frame.

We also fold six A4 sheets wide (short side) with an accordion. They will be the frame to which all sheets are glued.

And now from complex to simple. A couple more master classes in the photo, which the kids can easily repeat.

Master class №2

Master class number 3

Now the idea is more complex, but no less attractive.

Master class number 4

Such a voluminous snowman can be made using this scheme. A fold is made along the dotted lines. And the part is cut in straight lines. Edges with "indents" are intended for gluing.

And here is the assembly diagram itself.

I think that all the children will be pleased with the snowman on the window! There are many stencils and vytynanok for cutting.

You can create entire compositions.

Like here, I'll attach a template below. It is most convenient to stick such paper figures on toothpaste or paste. They are then easily washed off with water.

From paper, cardboard and felt, you can make many different hangers and garlands.

It is convenient to connect them together with threads, wire or double-sided tape.

That's not all! Now we will find a use for paper towel and toilet paper tubes.

We draw eyes, carrots and mouths on them. We glue hats and scarves and enjoy such a quick and cute craft.

If desired, the bushings can be glued corrugated paper, colored sheets or cloth.

You can also make applications. To do this, take the drawings that I have given below and color them. Or we fill the voids with plasticine and colored sugar. For small children, you can take different cereals.

These are such cute ideas!

Master classes of crafts from cotton wool

We have a lot of cotton at home. It somehow ceased to be used for its intended purpose with the advent of cotton pads. But it goes great for New Year's crafts!

So, let's make a snowman from cotton wool, and below there will be ideas for creating it from cotton pads.

Let's take:

  • cotton wool
  • skewer for barbecue,
  • PVA glue,
  • decor.

First of all, we form two balls of different sizes from cotton wool. We just roll the fiber in our hands.

Now we need to keep these balls from falling apart. To do this, coat them with PVA glue. And to keep them together, you can use skewers for barbecue, wire, pencil. We stick it between the balls, stringing. The excess part of the stick must be cut off.

What can be made from cotton pads?

Well, of course, the snowman! This is the first thing that comes to mind. After all, the shape of the disks allows you not to fool around with cutting even circles!

Make these Christmas tree hangings. They are a great substitute for Christmas decorations.

In combination with paper, you can create a whole application.

I liked cotton wool, how is the material? Then send to embody a similar idea!

Felt, paper and any decor are perfectly glued to the discs. So that the edges do not fluff, they can be sewn up with a decorative seam.

I think the kids will find something to do!

Crafts from fabric and felt with patterns

And now, a whole section for needlewomen! We will look at what can be made from felt and fabric. Of course, this will require more time and perseverance than in the previous sections. However, the level of difficulty will be more.

Master class number 1. We sew a snow tower. I give you a pattern.

Master class number 2. We will sew soft toys. To do this, choose fleecy soft tissue. White, gray or blue velvet is perfect.

Let's take:

  • velvet,
  • thread,
  • needles,
  • pin.

We take this pattern and transfer it first to a sheet of paper, and then to the wrong side of the fabric.

To prevent the details from slipping off the fabric, pin them with pins to both sides of the velvet. Circle the patterns and cut out several parts at once.

Now we sew all the blanks from the wrong side, leaving one edge not connected.

Through it, we turn each blank and stuff it with cotton wool or other filler. Sew the edges and attach all the details.

Now let's turn our attention to felt. We need different shades of it. The main color, of course, is white.

Pattern number 1. These beauties are made quickly. Use the provided pattern. Fill the inside with a little filler to add volume to the craft.

From fabric and felt, you can make both voluminous and flat crafts.

It is very easy to make such flat suspensions. The main thing is to sew the edges with a decorative seam.

Another nice idea that is easy to implement. Take two floral ornaments as a basis different sizes. And for a stick, you can use a toothpick.

Master class number 3. Snowmen from felt.

More simple tree hanging ideas. You can also make Christmas garlands out of them.

The composition of different shades of felt can be flat. When the parts are glued to each other with hot glue.

More hanger ideas.

Now let's sew the famous snowman Olaf to everyone.

Master class number 7

And for this we need fabric, filler, scissors and a needle.

We take felt or a dense white and soft fabric.

  1. We transfer all the patterns to the fabric, folding it with the front sides inward.
  2. Cut out the pieces and sew them together, leaving one edge free. We turn them on the front side.
  3. We stuff the blanks with filler.
  4. We sew the edges and connect all the details.
  5. We mark the eyes, mouth and eyebrows.

A detailed diagram is shown in this manual.

This is the first pattern sheet for Olaf and his bride.

Second pattern sheet.

Master class number 8. Gift bag.

Let's take:

  • fabric or felt in three colors,
  • buttons,
  • scissors.

We will use this pattern.

We transfer it to the fabric. And cut out two pieces. We try on the buttons and details of the nose and mittens.

Sew or glue small details to one side of the white fabric.

We connect both sides, folding them with the front sides inward and sewing. We turn out the bag. If desired, we insert an elastic band or lace at the top.

What beauties our craftswomen did not sew. Let's take a look at a small selection.

And even on the aprons they depicted the hero of today's article!

For those who love to knit more, I have prepared a separate section.

Crocheted snowman (amigurumi) with a pattern

The amigurimi technique is very loved by needlewomen. The simplest crochet elements are taken there: a double crochet and without it. This is done to create integrity.

Like this toy? Below is a knitting pattern!

For those who cross-stitch, you can take this pattern as a basis.

These snowmen are also made in a simple knitting technique.

Let's give one more detailed diagram for these snowmen.

Flat crafts are made with single crochets. Each row increased by 1-2-3 loops from the center.

Knit with pleasure!

Ideas for crafts from pom-poms to the garden

In the garden, you can also make such crafts from pompons. The child will quickly understand the whole point. Threads need to take terry or yarn.

And here is myself step by step master class. We will need two pom-poms of different sizes. We connect them. To do this, you can use two options: 1. Tie them together with the ends, 2. shown below, when the pompoms are mounted on a twig, wire or skewer.

We make pompoms according to this pattern. We take two cardboard rings. We wrap them tightly with yarn. Then cut the edges. We put the thread between the rings and tighten the ends.

The idea of \u200b\u200bconnecting pompoms to a skewer.

Try to repeat the entire master class and make such a handsome man.

Well, if there is absolutely no time, then at least such a cutie!

I think that crafts made from sock and pom-poms are the simplest and easiest to make. And they can be taken as a basis when creating compositions for kindergarten and school.

DIY snowmen from improvised materials

Often we have a lot of materials for creativity at hand. For example, for crafts, you can use napkins.

Or regular plastic bottles and banks.

Even a simple plank can be turned into a thematic piece.

Of course, make a snowman out of plasticine.

But the whole composition will turn out from pasta. Parts are best fastened with hot glue.

Wooden hanger!

Idea with CDs. We have a lot of things lying around on the balcony, we need to put them into action.

Toy made of cardboard and threads. For a more stylish design, use twine.

Button snowman elements can be used to decorate postcards.

from foam and Christmas balls make something like this.

Someone even painted the stones. For this craft, only flat sea pebbles turned by water are suitable.

That's it, my dears! Today there are a lot of ideas, I think you will find something suitable for yourself. Good luck in your work!

Let's get everything ready to start necessary materials to make our snowman. And this:

White terry cane

Light green (green) terry cloth

Fleece any color

Holofiber for stuffing

Black eye beads

Threads

Glue

The snowman consists of three balls of different diameters. Each ball, in turn, consists of six wedges.

Fold the white terry cloth in half and outline the wedges in three pieces of each size. Do not forget to leave a distance between the parts. Wedge sizes diagonally 10.5 cm, 8.5 cm and 7.5 cm.

We sew on a typewriter each part on one side.

Cut out all the details with a slight indentation along the edges. As a result, we should get nine double parts.

Next, add together the three parts of each ball.

Fasten with pins.

We are sewing.

We twist and stuff. We get pretty, round balls.

Sew them together in the right order

And admire the already formed snowman

Now it's up to the nose. We make it from any orange piece of fabric. I had a knitted piece at hand, and then he went into business.
Fold the fabric in half and draw a triangle.

Sew, turn and stuff

Sew with a blind seam to the snowman's head

The nosed comrade is ready to acquire eyes in order to see his creator as soon as possible.

Therefore, without delay, we sew eyes

Next, we hasten to give our snowman arms and legs. Again, fold the white terry cloth in half and outline the arms and legs. Diagonal arm size 11 cm.

We sew, not forgetting to leave a hole for stuffing.

We twist. We stuff.

Sewing up the hole.

We do the same manipulations with the legs.

We fasten the handles with a thread method.

The legs are sewn with a hidden seam.

And here he is handsome ... naked! Not order. So let's dress him up

Let's start with the hat. Cut out a rectangle from the fleece. I have it 21x15 cm.

Fold in half.

We are sewing.

It turned out here is such a preparation. On one side, I cut off the edge with zig-zag scissors for decor, it will be under the cap collar.

On the other hand, I cut a fringe in the form of cheerful stripes.

We arm the hat on the snowman's head and collect the resulting fringe into a cheerful fountain.

We glue the edges of the hat. I use a magic gun, a very handy thing, I tell you.

A simple but tasteful hat turned out.

Next we make a scarf. Without it, nowhere! winter, cold
Fold the fleece in half and outline the strip of the future scarf. The size of the strip is 25x6 cm.

With the same scissors, we cut the ends of the scarf into fringe stripes.

We tie a scarf. Already warm and cozy. But, we will insulate our snowman to the fullest.
Let's put gloves on him.

We fold the fleece in half, outline the mittens, sew, turn inside out.

New Year's do-it-yourself snowman. This one can be both an interior decoration and used for playing.

Prepare for sewing:

White fabric for lumps (terry is better);

For sewing a Christmas tree, of course, you need a green fabric;

Red fleece fabric (for hat and scarf);

Beads for the eyes are black;

Sintepon for filling;

Threads and glue.

DIY snowman master class:

1. We will "sculpt" three balls - large, medium and small, as expected.)) Each of the balls will be sewn from six wedges.

1. First, fold the white fabric in half and draw wedges three times for each "coma". Just remember to leave some space between the pieces. My wedge length is 10.5, 8.5 and 7.5 cm, respectively.

2. Sew details from one edge.

3. Keeping allowances in mind, cut out. You have 9 double pieces.

4. Now fold and sew all three pieces from each balloon. Fasten with pins. Sew, leaving holes to turn inside out.

5. Now you need to turn it out, fill it with padding polyester. Sew up the holes.

6. Fold the "lumps" in turn one by one and sew them together.

7. Next, we will sew a spout from any orange fabric at hand (you can take felt, knitwear or the same fleece). Very simple: draw a triangle on the fabric folded in half, sew and turn inside out. Then fill it up.

8. Sew on the spout with a blind stitch.

9. Now sew on the eyes.

9. Move on to the arms and legs. On the fabric folded in half, draw arms and legs. My do-it-yourself snowman arms 11 cm long.

Sew, mindful of the filling hole. Turn inside out, stuff and sew up the hole.

Santa Claus's helper - the snowman traditionally takes his place under the New Year tree. A snowman sewn with your own hands is cozy, homely, children will like it, and guests will remember it. As a person, he is a unique person.

You can sew a snowman with your own hands from any fabric: felt, fleece, cotton, linen, wool. Size and complexity may vary.

A small snowman or a whole series can be hung on a Christmas tree, a large one can be put on a table, seated on a sofa. You can sew a snowman flat (felt) or stuffed.

The pattern can be simple - from one part, then the snowman turns out to be shaped like a snowdrift. You can generally do without a pattern if you make a snowman with your own hands from two bags of holofiber sewn together: a torso and a head. Or even turn a sock into a snowman.

And you can sew a snowman as a full-fledged doll with arms and legs, but at the same time add the usual attributes to it: a bucket instead of a hat, a carrot nose, coal eyes, felt boots, a Christmas tree in your hand, a long striped scarf.

brrr

This snowman is similar to Tilda in shape and facial features, but is hand-sewn from fleece or other soft fabric.

Him Long hands with mittens, long cap. This snowman seems to be trying to keep warm.

Olaf

The beloved character from the cartoon "Frozen" is asked to be sewn by children. Cheerful and cheerful, this snowman is sewn from felt or fleece.

His pattern is more complex. On the Internet there are master classes in sewing with your own hands soft toys Olaf. It can be made simpler: draw or embroider a funny face on a white bag, add twigs instead of arms and hair, and three buttons. Ready.

How to sew a snowman?

I used linen for the body, green felt for decor, arms from cotton fabric and some pink terry cloth.

snowman pattern

Before sewing a snowman, we will make a do-it-yourself pattern based on Tilda's snowman.

Fold a sheet of paper in half and draw the outline by hand. Give the head and torso an elongated or flattened shape.

Draw a hand with a simple shape. I also made felt boots to make it easier for my penguin-like snowman to stand.

Use my pattern as it is, or modify it to your liking. (Click to enlarge).

Operating procedure

  • Transfer the pattern from paper to fabric, previously folded in half. From below, we leave a margin of 5 cm for decorating the bottom of the doll.
  • Before cutting fabric pieces, pin them with sewing pins so that the fabric does not move when cutting and sewing.
  • Now you need to sew these details on a typewriter, without finishing to the very bottom, but only to the border where the paper pattern was uploaded. In other words, there is no need to build up a stock on the bottom.
  • We sew the bottom by folding the fabric, as in the photo.
  • The corners of the bottom are sewn, there is only one hole left - at the very bottom. We turn the snowman blank through it and stuff it with holofiber and sew it with a hidden seam.
  • It is better to cut out the handles of the snowman individually. That is, 2 parts each, and not 4 at once, in order to sew along the drawn line.
  • When stitching them, leave a hole for eversion and stuffing on the inner fold. We twist and stuff the handles of the snowman.
  • The line for subsequent sewing with a blind seam should be as straight as possible, then this seam is easier to make.
  • From the fluffy fabric we cut out felt boots according to the pattern (their bottom is from the main fabric) and strips for the scarf. We sew the legs.
  • We make eyes from beads, a carrot of a nose is an inverted tip of a lace. Snowman's headphones are mugs made of the same terry cloth. The rim for them is a strip of green felt.
  • We sew ready-made hands.
  • So that the white snowman is not boring, we will make a Christmas tree out of green felt, lace and beads and sew on his stomach with decorative stitches.
  • The pink scarf of the snowman consists of three stripes. We collect the details of the scarf, and sew a button on the back.
  • Ready. The touching snowman just wants to be hugged.

What New Year does without souvenirs and toys? It's nice to buy them, give them, decorate your house with them, and even more pleasant to make them yourself. We already know many ways to create a Christmas tree with our own hands, we know how to make Christmas tree cones and sew New Year's boots, and today we will learn more about how snowmen are made with our own hands!

Before you make a snowman with your own hands, stock up on materials (the size of the finished snowmen is 25 cm):

    • White terry cloth
    • Light green or green terry cloth
    • Fleece in any color
    • Holofiber or other filler
    • black beads
    • glue
    • Threads
    • Needle
    • Pins

    We sew a snowman

    snowman body

Do-it-yourself fabric snowman is made from three balls of different diameters.

In turn, each ball is made of six wedges. To do this, take a white terry cloth and fold it in half. Next, we outline the wedges in such a way that we get three parts of each size. There must be a small distance between the parts.

The size of the wedges is determined diagonally and is equal to:

    • 10.5 cm
    • 8.5 cm
    • 7.5 cm

We add three parts of each size, fasten with pins and sew on a typewriter.

We twist and stuff them with holofiber. We get beautiful round balls for making snowmen with our own hands.

    We sew a spout

We turn to the manufacture of the nose. It is made from orange fabric. To do this, it must be folded in half and outline a triangle, then sewn on a typewriter or manually, turned out and stuffed with filler.

With a hidden seam, the nose is attached to the snowman's head.

    Sew on the eyes

    Making arms and legs

The legs and arms of the snowman are made from white terry cloth using a paper template.

We sew, turn inside out, fill with filler, sew up the hole with a blind seam.

    snowman handles

    snowman legs

In order to attach arms to the body of a snowman, we use a thread method.

    The snowman is ready!

    snowman clothes

    We sew a hat

Let's dress up our snowman in a hat, which is made of fleece. To do this, a rectangle measuring 21 * 15 centimeters is cut out, folded in half and sewn.

On one side of the workpiece, cut off the edge with scissors in the form of a zigzag:

And on the other hand, with the same scissors, we cut strips in the form of a fringe.

We put a hat on a snowman, tucking at the base of the head. We collect the fringe at the crown in a bundle and tie with a small piece of fleece.

We glue the edges of the cap.

    Making a scarf

We tie it on a snowman and proceed to the manufacture of mittens.

    snowman gloves

To do this, again take a strip of fleece, fold in half, sew and turn inside out. We make a cut along the edge with a zigzag.

    Herringbone fabric

The final step is to make a Christmas tree from light green terry cloth. To do this, we outline a triangle measuring 17 * 16 centimeters.

We fold it in half, stitch it, not forgetting to leave a hole for the filler.
