Paper snowdrop for kids. Corrugated paper snowdrops

If you want to not only decorate your home, but also let spring into your house, then think about creating snowdrops. There are so many ideas on how to make a beautiful snowdrop. As materials, anything can happen, from paper to fabric and beads.

DIY snowdrops step by step

To create a snowdrop, you will need glue, a wooden skewer, white and green paper, and plastic grass for floristry. It is necessary to prepare green and white flowers, which are usually found in shape in snowdrops.

To create one such snowdrop, you need one green part and two white ones. The technique consists in winding paper elements onto a skewer. When several flowers are ready, they must be collected together with floristic grass and decorated as you wish.

Instructions for making snowdrops

From the materials for creating a snowdrop, you will need thin wire, green, white and yellow corrugated paper, glue stick, twine, plastic container and a heat gun.

The first step is to cut a piece of wire 15 cm long. From yellow paper it is necessary to cut a strip of 2x6 cm, and then wind it on a wire, cut it into a fringe and glue it in a twisted state to the wire.

When the petals are ready, they can be glued at the base to the stem. With a green strip of paper, you need to wrap the stem in such a way that cups are obtained.

What can you make a snowdrop

The easiest way to make such a paper craft. To do this, you will need green and white paper, wire, glue, scissors, semolina and a cotton swab.

The first step is to cut off a small section of wire and end cotton swab along with cotton. A thin layer of green corrugated paper should be wound on one end of the wire and put on the end of a cotton swab so that it clings tightly to it.

A little glue should be applied to the cotton end and dipped in semolina, which should be prematurely dyed yellow.

When the blanks are ready, it is important to leave them to dry completely, and then you can glue them to the core of our flower with glue and winding on a wire.

Now you can move on to the white petals themselves, for this, take a larger strip of paper and twist it in the middle, and bend the resulting petals, as happens with real flowers. Further, the petals can be glued to the base of the bud.

The wire must be wound with green paper to make a stem. Do not forget that at the base of the bud you need to make a large winding to create the base of the bud. Green petals are created on the same basis as white ones.

It is necessary to make several sheets for the stem, and then wrap them around the base and glue them. To complete it, you can bend the flower a little, as is the case with a real flower, so that its flower looks at the floor. On this master class on snowdrops with your own hands can be called over.

Note!

In general, you don’t need to buy primroses, make them out of paper, and I’ll tell you how.
Take a strip of white crepe paper 35 mm wide
Crepe paper for children's creativity is quite thin, to make snowdrops you need to glue two layers of paper. Gently smear a 35 mm wide strip of paper across with glue stick and cover with a second layer of paper. The paper will dry pretty soon.

Fold it with an accordion in three layers and cut out the petals in the shape of an elongated drop.

For the manufacture of flowers, it is most convenient to use a special floristic wire. Now you can buy special Japanese floral wire already wrapped in green paper. But if you did not find such a wire, you can wrap the wire yourself. Cut a piece 3-5 mm wide from a roll of olive-colored crepe paper. Dip the tip paper tape in PVA glue and start wrapping the wire. Glue the end of the tape.

Take a piece of wire 12 cm long, dip the tip in PVA glue and wind a piece of cotton wool, as shown in the photo.

Coat the top with glue. You can dip this middle of the flower in semolina, painted in yellow Or just paint with watercolors.

Let's make the inner petals. Take a strip of white paper 25 mm wide, cut off one edge with scallops and tint it green. To make the color match the leaves perfectly, I tint with the crepe paper from which the leaves and the wrapping of the stems are made. Crepe paper usually sheds a lot, put a piece of paper and drip water and PVA glue on it. After a while, you will get a greenish liquid PVA. They can use a cotton swab to paint the inner petals.

Wrap this strip around the middle. At the petals, gently stretch the middle with your fingers, giving them a convex shape.

Lubricate the center of the flower with glue and glue the petals. When the glue dries, wrap with a strip of crepe paper.

Take a strip of olive-colored paper 50 by 25 mm. Wrap its edges and twist one end. Cut off most of the twisted. This is the top leaf, glue it just below the flower.

The first flowers among the snow, harbingers of spring, cheerful and beautiful snowdrops. Rarely can they leave anyone indifferent. Let's look at how to make do-it-yourself paper snowdrops with diagrams and photos.

gift for mom

On March 8, Birthday, and just for the mood, we will make a bouquet of snowdrops for moms. Let's start with the most simple options which can be used even in kindergarten before spring holiday. Below are two ideas for kids to make an easy spring appliqué.

  • for the little ones.

To make an application you will need:

  • background cardboard;
  • colored and white paper;
  • glue stick;
  • children's scissors.

Cut out a stem from green paper and glue it to the cardboard. Cut out a leaf and a sepal from green paper using a stencil. Then we ask the child to circle his palm on a sheet of white paper and cut it out. We glue everything to the base and get the first application of the baby.

  • for older preschoolers.

These kids already know much more and have worked with scissors more than once. They can be given a more difficult task, for example, a vase with snowdrops. The materials and tools are the same.

First, we make blanks from colored paper. To do this, cut out a vase and a napkin from paper of any color. Next, cut out rectangles from green paper first, and then details from them:

  • 9 white rectangles 2 × 4 cm - petals;
  • 2 green rectangles 1.5 × 4.5 cm - leaflets;
  • 2 green rectangles 1.5 × 5.5 cm - leaflets;
  • 3 green rectangles 0.5 × 7 cm - stems;
  • 3 green squares 1.5 × 1.5 cm - triangular sepals.

We glue the parts to the base in the following order:

  • below - a napkin, openwork side down;
  • glue the vase on a napkin;
  • stems;
  • leaves;
  • Lubricate 6 white petals with glue on one side and glue obliquely on both sides to the stem;
  • glue the remaining 3 petals 1 to each flower in the middle;
  • side petals are pressed a little to the center to get volume;
  • glue the sepal.

Fundamentals of technology

Unusual, memorable and beautiful work is obtained in the origami technique, which was developed in Ancient China, and received its development and improvement in Japan. It consists in folding paper figures. It sounds simple, but the schemes are quite complex, then certain skills and abilities are indispensable.

According to the technique of origami is divided into:

  1. Classical - a figure is created from a square of paper by addition without the use of glue and scissors;
  2. Modular - whole compositions are created by linking individual modules, like a constructor.

The addition methods are also different:

  • simple origami - folds along and across, intended for beginners;
  • Folding according to the Pattern - the model is created according to a preliminary drawing with the image of folds;
  • wetted folding - before folding, the paper is wetted, which gives smoothness or rigidity to the lines, depending on the desire of the author.

Master class on creating a snowdrop using the origami technique:

For work, we need a simple paper white square 8 × 8 cm, as well as a green square 10 × 10 cm.

All further actions are performed according to the scheme:

  1. Bend the white square in half, putting the bottom on top.
  2. Fold the rectangle in half.
  3. Raise the bottom corners to the fold line.
  4. Overlay the right corner on the left.
  5. Glue the corners, turn over.
  6. Pull the first layer of the right corner, aligning the fold lines.
  7. The flower is ready.
  8. Fold the green square in half.
  9. Lower the upper sides of the square to the fold line.
  10. Raise the bottom sides to the fold line.
  11. Bend in half, lowering the top corner to the bottom.
  12. Bend in half.
  13. Pull the corners in different directions.
  14. Turn up corners.
  15. Glue the flower with an angle inward to the corner of the stem.
  16. Possible tilt of colors.

Another fairly simple video.

Let's at least use paper to bring the beginning of spring closer and make an origami snowdrop. Here are 3 options from the simplest to the slightly complex.

The works used:

  • Double-sided green colored paper;
  • White paper;
  • Scissors, glue stick.

Origami snowdrop for kids: the easiest option

We make a flower

Prepare white paper in a square shape.

Fold it in half, corner to corner.

This step is not shown in the photo, but children can fold the paper again to determine the middle of the triangle. You can skip the step and immediately lift the right and left corners up, placing them as symmetrically as possible with respect to the upper corner. The flower is ready. Optionally, you can cut out two green triangles or a quarter of a circle and glue it (them) to the base of the flower.

Making an Origami Snowdrop Stem and Leaf

Very young children can simply cut out an oblong sheet, older children can make a sheet.

Prepare a green square piece of paper.

Connect the opposite corners, turning the square into a triangle. This will create a fold in the middle.

Open the paper back to a square shape, and fold the sides to align with the fold.

Align the bottom sides in the same way.

Repeat the steps again, although now it will be a little more difficult to do this. Fold over the top sides, aligning with the midline. Right.

Then left.

Now make folds at the bottom. Right.

The origami sheet is ready. If desired, the folds can be glued so that they do not open in the future, especially if the children did not have enough strength to press them well.

The stem is made from a long strip folded into a thin tube.

Glue all the components together, and you get such an origami snowdrop.

You can twist the ends of the stem so that the flowers "look" down.

Origami Snowdrops: Making it Harder

Despite the loud statement, this method of creating a flower is also very easy, just a little more than the previous one.

The stem will be the same as the leaf.

Prepare a rectangular piece of paper.

Fold it in half lengthwise to mark the middle.

Return to original state.

Bend the corners, aligning with the fold in the center.

Then center the sides in the same place, guiding their outer edges towards the middle. Right.

Left. The flower is almost ready.

Cut a quarter of the circle and glue it onto the sharp base of the flower.

Glue the flower to the stem, do not forget the sheet, which, by the way, can simply be cut out of paper.

Origami snowdrop with intricate flower

In the third version, the flower is much more complicated than the previous ones. And the most difficult thing is at the end, since you need to understand the principle of folding the sides, which can be quite difficult for children.

For this flower you will need a square white piece of paper.

Fold it in half, from corner to opposite corner.

You can fold it again to determine the middle of the triangle.

Bend the corners, aligning them with the fold in the center. This action and the subsequent ones are needed to create the necessary folds.

Open the paper, then bend the side corners again, aligning them with the extreme side folds.

Open the paper again, you should have such folds as shown in the photo. Two at the edges and one in the center.

Now fold the corners, aligning them with the new extreme fold. Thus, we added one more, third fold on the sides of the paper.

Fold the right corner to the third fold, the second will be in the center.

Now on the left. Looks like petals.

Here important points, and difficult for children. Connect the created petals at the front, pushing back the front fold in the process.

Now redirect the folds on the sides inward.

Press, the flower is ready.

This is what it looks like from behind.

So, to make paper snowdrops we need:

  • corrugated paper white color to create petals;
  • green corrugated paper for creating petals and processing the stem;
  • wire;
  • thermal gun with a core of glue;
  • scissors.

Paper snowdrops: Step 1

Let's start by creating the snowdrop stem. Let's prepare a piece of wire, the length of which is approximately 10 cm. We also cut off a strip of green corrugated paper.

We stretch the tip of the corrugated strip until the folds disappear.

The stem is ready, let's move on to creating a bud!

Paper snowdrops: Step 2

Cut off a strip of green color 7-10 cm long.

On one side of the strip we form folds by stretching the paper.

Then we fold the workpiece with an accordion, apply glue on top and attach the tip of the wire.

Paper snowdrops: Step 3

We give them volumetric form, pulling out their middle.

Paper snowdrops: Step 4

We begin to glue the white petals to the base. We place the details just above the inner petals.

Paper snowdrops: Step 5

With the help of a green piece of corrugated paper, we wrap the receptacle of the flower.

Paper snowdrops: Step 6

After we cut out a miniature leaf, which should be at the top of the stem, next to the receptacle. When we glue the top leaf, we bend the pedicel.

We give the stem a realistic shape of the bend.

Paper snowdrops: Step 7

The main leaves, which should be in the lower part of the stem, are also cut out of green corrugated paper. The shape of the leaves is quite ordinary without curls and teeth.

Before connecting the leaves to the stem, stretch their middle a little, roll the tips with your fingers.

That's all, a wonderful early flower is ready!

If you make more snowdrop branches, you can make a beautiful bunch of them. You can place it in a small wicker basket or in a bag of sisal in a neutral shade. They can also be used as interior decor. For this, paper snowdrops do not need to be packed or placed in a basket. You can simply place them in a miniature transparent vase. For a more decorative and finished look, sprinkle small colored pebbles or beads into the vase.
