Step by step description

Step 1: Knit legs

Take flesh-colored thread.

Make a chain of 6ch.

  • 1 row. Starting from the second loop from the hook, knit 4 sc. In the last loop of the row - 3 sc. Go to the other side and knit 3 sc + pb. As a result, 12 loops will come out.
  • 2 row. Pb + 3sbn + 3pb + 3sbn + 2pb. As a result, 18 loops.
  • 3 row. Knit 1 sc + pb + 3 sc +<1 сбн + пб>three times + 3 sc +<1 сбн + пб>twice. There will be 24 loops in total.

From a piece of plastic, cut the insole to the size of the resulting oval.

  • 4th, 5th and 6th rows. On 24 sbn.
  • 7 row. 2 sc +<1 сбн + уб>6 times + 2 sc + kill. There will be 17 stitches left.
  • 8 row. 2 sc + 6 dec + 2 sc + pb. There will be 12 stitches left.

Take the wire and bend the leg frame. Cover the foot with a patch for fixation as in the photo.

Insert the frame into the connected foot. Fill with stuffing. Further stuffing will go as the legs are knitted.

  • From rows 9 to 38, knit 12 sc.

At the first leg, the thread can be cut off and hidden, at the second leg, leave the thread and do not cut.

Step 2: Knit the body

We continue the thread from the 2nd leg. The beginning should be in the center of the inner surface of the leg. 1 loop per offset. Enter white thread. It will be panties.

  • 1 row (from the right leg). 6 sc +<пб + 1 cбн>three times + 3 ch. Switch to your left foot.<1 сбн + пб>three times + 6 sc. There will be 33 loops in total.
  • 2 row. 3 sc in air loops + 15 sc on the right leg + 3 sc in air loops + 15 sc on the left leg. There will be 36 loops in total.

Screw the wires of the leg frames together and glue them with a plaster.

  • 3 row. 36 sc.
  • 4 row. 9 sc + dec + 17 sc + dec + 6 sc. There will be 34 loops in total.
  • 5 row. 17 sc + 2 dec + 13 sc. There will be 32 loops.
  • 6 row. 9 sc + dec + 14 sc + dec + 5 sc. There are 30 loops in total.
  • 7 row. 9 sc + dec + 12 sc + dec + 5 sc. There are 28 loops in total.
  • 8 and 9 rows - 28 sb each.
  • 10 row. 9 sbn + dec + 4 sbn + dec + (1 sbn) - this is on the back! + dec + 4 sc + dec + 2 sc. There are 24 loops in total.

Enter the thread color of the dress. Stuff as you knit.

  • 11 row.<2 сбн + уб>six times. There will be 18 loops.
  • From 12 to 16 rows. 18 sb.
  • 17 row. 7 sc + pb + 8 sc + pb + 1 sc. Increases should be strictly on the sides. There will be 20 loops.
  • 18 row. 20 sb.
  • 19 row. 8 sc + pb + 9 sc + pb + 1 sc. There are 22 loops in total.
  • From 20 to 24 rows - 22 sc.

Knit 15 hook shift stitches. You should be in the center of your back.

Re-introduce skin color into knitting.

  • 25 row. 4 sc + 2 dec + 7 sc + 2 dec + 3 sc. Decreases will be where the shoulders will be. There are 18 loops in total.
  • 26 row. 3 sc + 2 dec + 5 sc + 2 dec + 2 sc. There will be 14 stitches left.
  • 27 row. 2 sc + 2 dec + 3 sc + 2 dec + 1 sc. There will be 10 stitches left.

Now the thread can be cut and hidden.

Step 3: Knitting the head

  • 5 row.<3 сбн + пб>6 times. There will be 30 loops.
  • 6 row.<4 сбн + пб>6 times. There will be 36 loops.
  • 7 row.<5 сбн + пб>6 times. There will be 42 loops.
  • 8 row.<6 сбн + пб>6 times. There will be 48 loops.
  • From 9 to 18 rows - 48 sc.
  • 19 row.<4 сбн + уб>8 times. There will be 40 stitches left.
  • 20 row.<3 сбн + уб>8 times. There will be 32 stitches left.
  • 21 row.<2 сбн + уб>8 times. There will be 24 stitches left.

Fill the resulting ball with filler.

  • 22 row.<1 сбн + уб>6 times. There will be 16 stitches left.
  • 23 row.<2 сбн + 3 уб>2 times. There will be 10 stitches left.

The head is ready, you can move on to the neck.

  • 24 and 25 rows - 10 sb each. You can make a couple more rows if you want a longer neck.

Cut the thread, tighten the loops. Leave the thread outside - to sew the head to the body with it.

Step 4: Making the Hands

  • 1 row. 6 ch connect in ka.
  • 2 row.<1 сбн + пб>thrice. There will be 9 loops.
  • From 3 to 26 rows - 9 sc.

Take pieces of wire, insert into your hands. Place the filler in the palm of your hand.

  • 27 row.<1 сбн + уб>thrice. There will be 6 stitches left.

Do not cut the thread - you will sew your hands to the body with it.

Tie the other hand in the same way.

Step 5: Knitting a Dress

Take the dress color thread that you already took on the torso.

Join the front loop of the 12th row of the trunk from the side.

  • 1 row. 18 pb. There will be 36 loops.

Attention! Rows 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 start with ch 3 on the rise (will be counted as 1 dc) and end with sl-st.

The skirt of the dress will consist of 3 layers.

First layer

  • 2 row. 36 ssn.
  • 3 row. In each loop, knit 1 sc + 3 ch + 1 sc.

The thread can be cut and hidden.

Second layer

Connect to the wrong side of the 1st row of the dress.

  • 4 row. 36 ssn.
  • 5 row.<2 ссн + 1 пб ссн>12 times. You will get 48 loops.
  • 6 row knit as the 3rd.

Cut the thread, hide it.

third layer

Join the 5th row from the inside.

  • 1 row. In each loop of 25 rows, knit sc. Hands "circle" the 6th ch.
  • 2 row. In each loop of the 1st row - pb dc. Where vp - 7 dc each.

Cut and hide the thread.

Knitted sundress for the doll is ready.

Now sew the head to the body.

Important! The neck should be well and tightly stuffed with filler.

Step 6: Making the Face

Pins mark the location of the eye, nose, mouth.

We offer our girls to knit such a wonderful doll in a dress.

Author's description:
You will need:
flesh-colored yarn (mandatory) for the body and the remains of multi-colored yarn for hair and clothes,

ready-made eyes or beads, cilia (you can buy real invoices in a cosmetics store).
I used yarn colors: nude, white, pink, lilac, raspberry, brown and some red for the mouth.
Applied abbreviations:
V. n. - air loop

30 row: (2 sc, decrease) - 6 times (18)
31 row: (1 sc, decrease) - 6 times (12)

Next, we do a facelift. It is best to do the tightening with dental floss, but if it is not available, then you can take a thin skin-colored cotton yarn to match the head.
We insert the needle into the open hole of the head and bring it out approximately between 16 and 17 near the top of the head, then we insert it through the row and bring it out into the hole in the head, tighten it tightly and tie a knot. Similarly, we make a tightening for the second eye, stepping back from the first 9 loops (marked in red in the picture). Next, we insert the needle into the hole of the head again, bring it out in the hole next to the tightening for the first eye, insert it into the hole next to the tightening for the second eye and bring it out into the hole in the head (marked green in the picture), tighten it tightly and tie a knot. We hide the ends in the head, if necessary, stuff them.
Next, I make a button fastening (see pictures) so that the head stands up straight, but then I sew it on anyway, because after we make the doll's hair, the head can hang out.
If you do not make a button fastening, then just close the hole and hide the tail.

We fold the leg in half, sew and leave the tip of the thread longer for subsequent sewing to the body.
We make a ruffle with white yarn as if on our hands.
We knit the second leg in the same way.

SHOES
We knit with crimson yarn.
We knit the sole according to the scheme

5 row: 43 sbn behind the back wall of the loop
6-9 row: 43 sc

NOSE

1 row: 6 sc in the amigurumi ring
2nd row: 6 sc
Leave the thread for sewing.
The nose can be immediately sewn onto the face.

Join our groups - there is even more interesting:

EARS
We knit with flesh-colored yarn.
I always tie my ears right on my head, for this I retreat about 9 sc at eye level, attach a thread: 3 in. lifting point, 8 ssn. I insert the tail that remains 2 rows higher / lower and bring it out behind the ear, the second tail that remains after we attached the thread to the head, I hook on the third air. I insert the lifting loop 2 rows higher / lower and bring it out in the same hole as the first tail, tie a knot and hide two tails in the head, it turns out very neat and beautiful.

DRESS
Yoke:
We knit with crimson yarn.
Recruiting 26 c. P.
1 row: 1 in. lifting point, 25 sc
2nd row: 6 in. lifting point, 5 ss4n, 2 c. p., 10 ss4n, 2 c. p., 6 ss4n
3rd row: 1 in. lifting point, 25 sc
Next, we knit a skirt with lilac yarn, according to the description.

HAIR
Brown yarn.
We cut the threads of the required length (depending on how long you want to make the doll's hair), in my version, about 54 cm, I wound it around the book along the long side.
We begin to attach threads to the head like a fringe, starting from the crown and moving down. We insert the hook towards the top of the head, we hook the hair folded in half to the middle, pull it through the head, and then we hook both hairs and pull it through the loop and tighten it. So we fill the whole head, relying on the natural hairline, I have a lot of hair, so I did it from behind to the middle of the ear.

Sew the head to the body (if necessary), sew the arms and legs. Hands are sewn approximately between 4 and 5 next to the torso. We sew the legs approximately between 22 and 23 next to the body, then the doll will sit. We make the doll's hair, decorate the shoes and dress, make out the face. At the very last moment I glue the eyes and embroider the mouth.

Buying a doll for a child is not at all difficult. Today's manufacturers offer a truly huge range of toys for every taste, age and budget. And intensive Internet trading has further expanded the choice, making it almost endless.

However, not a single store-bought toy will be dear to your baby as it is made with your own hands just for him. After all, not only your zeal will be invested in it, but also the warmth that the child feels on an intuitive level.

Any mother can make a knitted doll, the main thing is to prepare necessary material and gain minimal theoretical knowledge.

Materials needed to knit such a doll: darning needle, filler, yarn different color, knitting needles - 3 mm or 2.5. As a rule, the knitting density is as follows: 26 loops for 36 rows.

Often, in order to tie the product, the front and back surfaces are used. If you are not confident in your abilities, it is best to start by knitting a baby doll. Those who are already confident with knitting needles can choose more difficult options.

We knit a doll

The most accessible way for a needlewoman to make an author's doll is to knit it from yarn with knitting needles. Thread toys are soft and warm, which is so valuable for the child and attracts his interest.

The proposed master class will tell you how to knit a doll using minimal knitting experience in your work. We do not give strict dimensions and clear schemes, and explain the principle of creating toys from yarn. Thanks to this approach, having mastered this master class, you can independently make a knitted doll to your taste and any kind.

To implement the project you will need:

  • flesh or white yarn,
  • knitting needles,
  • needles for knitting socks,
  • filler,
  • needle,
  • sewing threads.

Additionally, you will need scissors, doll eyes, embroidery threads or paints to decorate the doll's face.

When choosing yarn with knitting needles, it is important to match them. To choose the right materials and tools, fold the thread four times and twist the bundle slightly. Its thickness should be approximately equal to the thickness of the spokes.

Base - torso with head

Work begins with knitting the torso, for which we collect an even number of loops with paired knitting needles. Their number will determine how "well-fed" the toy will be. For example, take 40 loops. They will become the beginning of the canvas connected stockinette stitch. This pattern is knitted very simply - every 1st row - facial loops, every 2nd - purl.

To form neat, even edges, do not forget to remove the first loop without knitting, always make the last one on the wrong side.

The height of the torso depends on the number of knitted rows - for our example, you need to make 30. We sew the resulting rectangle with the sides, sew the lower edge like a bag, and tighten the upper one in a circle. We fill the body with filler.

The head should be wider than the body, so we collect 50 loops and knit with the front surface with an extension. To do this, add a loop three times in each front row every 3 loops. After that, we knit 10 rows of an even fabric and begin narrowing in the reverse order - we knit each 3rd loop three times with the 4th together. We sew the resulting part along the sidewalls and tighten the upper and lower holes. Sew the head to the top of the body.

limb making

You can make arms and legs with knitting needles for knitting socks, then they will not have a seam. The calculation of the number of loops is simple - half of the number of the body, it turns out, 20 loops for each leg. Hands can be made equal in thickness or slightly smaller. Knit in a circle with facial loops. The length is determined in accordance with the growth of the doll and the harmony of its proportions.

For those who have the skill of knitting socks, a more complex version of the legs for a doll may be of interest - with the manufacture of a heel, foot and toes.

We stuff the finished legs and sew them to the lower edge of the body, and the stuffed arms to the shoulders.

Hairstyle for a doll

The easiest way to make hair is to use threads suitable color. They are fixed with a thin crochet hook or needle, placing toys on the head either from the crown in a spiral or in rows, starting with a straight parting. Finished hair is cut to the desired level to make a hairstyle.

As hair, you can use cut into strips artificial fur or a wig. Artificial hair fasten with a thread, sewing in the same order as the threads. Now it remains only to sew or glue the eyes and draw a face.

How to knit a baby doll from yarn

To make a baby doll with knitting needles, you need to take softer yarn and slightly larger knitting needles. The body and head can be knitted according to the same number of loops and rows, and the legs and arms should be shorter and thicker to maintain the desired proportions. When stuffing parts, make them not too dense.

The face and silhouette of the body is formed by the method of tightening - for this it is enough to study any master class using this technique. So you can make another knitted toy with your own hands.

Using our tips, you can knit completely unique toys with your own hands. To do this, you just need to add imagination and a little patience.

Lessons on modeling the body and face of a doll

The article will consider options for how a knitted doll is made. For a beginner craftswoman, this is a good help. Here is a detailed description of the process of creating a man with knitting needles. The needlewoman will also learn how to make knitted dolls crochet. Schemes and descriptions of actions will slightly open the curtain into the workshop of the creators of wonderful unique gizmos.

And why are they needed, these knitted trinkets?

A knitted doll will be a wonderful gift for both a little girl and an adult. Making such a craft is not so difficult for those who know how to crochet or knitting.

Today, such crafts are extremely fashionable. A miniature knitted doll would be appropriate instead of a keychain on the clasp of a handbag. It looks creative both for a baby, and for a teenage girl, and for an adult woman who adheres to a certain youth style.

Knitted dolls (you used knitting needles or a crochet when creating them - it doesn't matter) will become a wonderful souvenir decoration on a shelf or desk. Made by a dear person, the doll will remind of him, warm the soul.

Creative ways to use knitted men

When creating original little things, such as coasters or teapot cases, small knitted dolls are often used as design details. You can crochet both a naked baby doll and a funny Carlson with a propeller.

You can also make an interesting box. To do this, tie cardboard box. You can do this in any convenient way. And knitted dolls are attached to the top of the lid.

Crochet or knitting, you can even make a decoration on the curtains in the nursery. The dolls will hang on the curtains, sway and create a unique charm and comfort in the room.

Sometimes craftsmen use this option: a knitted doll is not completely voluminous, but half, and sewn onto fabric. Thus, you can get an amazing panel that is hung on the wall. And some decorate clothes like that. This is a new type of appliqué, super modern and extremely creative. The thing is that it is impossible to find a second model that would completely copy the original!

DIY puppet theater

Sometimes it makes sense not to make fully knitted or crocheted dolls, but to make only the head, hands and a dress or jacket with sleeves. Then you can use this option to create "parsley". The head and hands are stuffed with filler, and the clothes play the role of gloves. Children will be able not only to play “daughters-mothers” among themselves, but also to prepare a whole performance for the audience.

Knitted dolls

If a needlewoman loves to work with knitting needles, can cute knitted dolls come out from under these tools? Schemes - this is what will help in the work in this case. These will be designs for the head, torso, arms and legs. It goes without saying that parts for the limbs should be made in two pieces. Usually, to work on such a product, they use a simple front surface. Although there are no established rules in this case.

Making the head of a doll knitted with knitting needles

To knit this piece, cast on 5 stitches. At the end of each row, you will need to add one loop. When the product reaches the desired width, the increase is stopped. In the exemplary version shown in the diagram, this number is equal to 16 loops.

Now you should knit in the usual way, alternating the purl and facial rows. In the diagram, this process presumably fits into 10 rows. Having reached the required height (this factor depends on the size of the doll's head), the master begins to decrease the loops, knitting two in one at the end until there are 5 pieces left. Then the thread is cut off and each loop is no longer knitted, but “hung” on this end, pulling it out completely at the moment of knitting. Pulling the end of the thread, the needlewoman gets a kind of bag. The end of the thread is then tied.

The initial row also needs to be pulled off. Only this should be done only after the part is sewn on the sides and stuffed with filler.

The seam is made from the wrong side, then the part is turned out. The thread with which the seam was sewn is fixed by making several small stitches in one place. This is done so that the seam does not subsequently shrink. Then, after stuffing the part, all the loops of the initial row are put on the sewing needle and pulled together, fixing the result.

torso

They make a tummy for a toy according to the same algorithm as the head. Only with the front stitch, without adding or decreasing, you should knit a few more rows than for the head, because the body should be oval, not round.

Handles and legs are essential details that knitted dolls have. Schemes and description of the process of manufacturing limbs are also quite simple.

Pens

Gain 5 loops, add one in each row. When on working needle it turns out 11 loops, knit without adding. The part must reach the required length, excluding brushes.

Now they add loops not along the edge, but in the middle, knitting 3 from one loop. The scheme will be as follows: edge, 3 front, 3 loops are made from one, 3 front, again three from one, again 3 front and edge. The process of adding looks like this: a loop is knitted, a crochet is made and it is knitted again. It turns out 17 loops.

Then they create 4 rows in the usual way and proceed to decrease. To reduce the number of loops, one should be made from each of their pairs, the last, edge, you can not take into account. It turns out 9 loops. The reduction process must be repeated. Therefore, in the next row, again, one is knitted from each pair, we simply knit the edge. We already get 5 loops, which we “put” on the end of the cut thread in the way that was used when knitting the head.

Next, the sidewalls are sewn together, the parts are stuffed, the initial row is “sit down” and pulled together. So the pens are ready, however, without fingers. But if the craftswoman decides to make a large doll, then the brushes can be knitted according to the gloves algorithm.

legs

You can perform these details with the same flesh-colored thread as the head, arms and torso. But some immediately "dressed in tights" knitted dolls.

With diagrams, knitting these parts is easy. By the way, here the work is based on the same algorithm that was used in the manufacture of handles, but slightly modified in terms of the number of loops. After all, the legs are a little thicker than the handles, everyone knows this. This is the knitting pattern.

Gain 5 loops, increase to 15. Knit without changing the number of elements until the part reaches the desired length, excluding feet. Now the addition is done in the manner described above for working on the hands. It happens like this: edge, 2 front loops, 3 out of 1, 2 front, 3 out of 1, 9 front, edge. It turns out 21 loops. Having knitted 3 rows, the master reduces the number of elements in the same way as it is done when working on handles. Actually, the algorithm of the last stage is repeated exactly: stitching, stuffing, contraction of the initial row.

But some craftswomen do not knit legs at all. They make a baby doll in an envelope, increasing the size of the torso a little. This simple option is suitable for beginner needlewomen.

Product assembly and hair production

Each detail is sewn to the body with an ordinary sewing needle. The face is embroidered or only buttons are fitted in place of the eyes. They do their hair separately. By the way, some craftswomen position their heads in such a way that the pattern goes across. That is, the nodes of the initial and final rows are placed on the sides.

Usually for this, yarn is wound on cardboard. desired color. From above and below, paper is applied to the workpiece and sewn across on a typewriter. Paper and cardboard are removed, it turns out a hairstyle with a row in the middle. Having cut the edges of the “hair”, the craftswoman sews the blank onto the head. Now you can braid or make ponytails, ruffle or curl using soap or hairspray.

If the doll was tied naked, you need to make clothes for her separately. Although some sew dresses and camisoles for their pets from fabric, weave boots from leather, felt hats from wool and do furrier work, making fur coats, you can limit yourself to a knitted suit.

Crocheted dolls

Such pupae may have symbolic arms and legs, similar to those described above. Sometimes needlewomen knit fingers not only on the handles, but also on the legs. This requires a fairly high level of skill.

You can take a simpler path and make all the details separately, stuff them and assemble the product by sewing it with a needle. And you can knit a solid thing, when one part is connected to another not with a seam, but is tied with a hook.

They will help to make crocheted crocheted dolls and a description of the work process. You should start from the head. The knitting process itself is performed in a circle.

Crochet pattern for doll head (1-5 rows) with description

First, an air chain of 5 loops is knitted, which closes in a ring. Then the work is based on the use of the single crochet pattern.

2 row: an increase is made when 2 is knitted from each loop. You should get 10 columns.

3 row: an increase is made on every second column. It turns out 15 elements.

4 row: add in every third column, they get 20.

5 row: add in every fifth column, getting 24 elements.

Scheme and description of the process of reducing (rounding) the details of the head

13 row: 4 columns, decrease - this algorithm is repeated until the end of the row. You should end up with 20 columns.

14 row: 2 columns, decrease - the report is repeated. We get 15 columns.

15 row: 1 column, decrease until you get 10 elements.

At this point, you need to stuff the part through the hole. Then another row is performed if the torso is tied to the head.

The neck is knitted in the round (2-3 rows). Then you need to add on the shoulders, making an increase on every fifth column, and knit without changing the number of loops.

A membrane is made in the middle of the lower body. At this time, it is best to do the stuffing of the torso. Then knit first one leg, then the other. They should also be filled with padding polyester or cotton just before the end of knitting. Hands are attached to the upper body.

If you plan to make all the parts separately with their subsequent stitching, then 2 more rows are performed.

16 row: decrease in each pair of columns. It turns out 5 such elements.

The process of reducing the row occurs in this way: not two are knitted, as usual, but three columns, which are connected together.

Such crocheted dolls, the manufacturing patterns of which are only slightly different from those made in one piece without seams, have greater mobility.
