How to draw an owl for an application. Paper owl applique

In this article, we have collected an application from paper of owls made according to a template. This application allows you to do quite complex and picturesque work. But this method of application is suitable for children. school age. For kids, we invite you to watch and

We offer you three owl appliqué motifs with ready-made templates. But, having felt the principle of such an application, you can independently make templates from any pictures, both found on the Internet and drawn by you personally.

To work on the application, we need colored paper, sharp scissors (you can use manicure scissors), a finely sharpened simple pencil, glue stick, thin colored cardboard for the base. Templates must be pre-printed.

Application Owl on a branch.

First, consider the application of an owl with the largest number details. We will analyze this model in detail, the rest schematically.

First we need to print out the template and cut out all the details. We will then translate them into colored paper.

Template for Owl application 1.

Let's translate the contour of the torso according to the template on the wrong side of the paper - detail 1.

Cut out the piece and glue it onto the base of the appliqué.

Let's translate 2 applications into detail - the branch on which the owl sits. Please note that this detail is not symmetrical, it must be translated in a mirror image. I cut the branch along the outlined outline.

Glue the branch on top of the owl.

Transfer to paper and cut out details 3-4. We took paper with a pattern for this. But this is absolutely not necessary.

We paste them on the application.

Cut and paste part 5.

Cut out the details of the eye (6,7 and 8). Since these parts are paired, it is better to cut them out by folding two layers of paper together at once.

We glue the eyes on our owl application in the order of numbers - first 6, then 7 and at the end 8.

It remains to stick the beak and the application of the owl is basically ready. For greater expressiveness, you can paint half of the beak with a felt-tip pen.

To revive the application, you can make leaflets. We will cut them out without a template, by hand. To do this, we cut rectangles from paper of several shades of green. Fold each rectangle in half and round the corners. Here we have leaves.

Glue the leaves on the tree. It is not necessary to glue the leaves entirely. You can glue only the tip with glue. So the application will turn out to be more voluminous and “live”.

It remains to stick our work on the cardboard base to give it rigidity. Yes, and the application looks neat and finished.

Owl on a branch. Paper application.

Having analyzed in detail how to make an application according to a template, let's move on to the next motifs with owls.

Let's make a flying owl. This model has fewer parts than the previous one. But the very basis of a more complex form. Cutting it for children is a certain difficulty.

Application template Flying owl.

Cut out and paste detail 1 on the sheet - the body of an owl.

Cut and paste all the other details of the appliqué.

Draw expressive details with a felt-tip pen.

The application is ready, it remains to arrange it - stick it on a cardboard base.

Two owls. Paper template applique.

On this motive, the owl family. But, if you want, you can make an application of one owl. To do this, draw a line on the torso template, dividing the owls. Details, respectively, will also need half as much.

Application template Owl family.

Cut out of paper and glue the body of our owls. This is not a symmetrical piece. Translate it in mirror image.

We cut out the details of the “head”, wings, legs and paste it on the base. Note! The wings are not a symmetrical detail, it must be translated as a mirror!

Cut and paste the remaining details - eyes, beaks, egg. With a black felt-tip pen we put dots-pupils.

The application of owls is ready. It remains to decorate it by sticking it on cardboard. For a change, we suggest cutting out the picture with an oval. Here's what it will look like.

Lesson plan for 2 "A" class

Subject: entertaining work

Subject "Owl on a tree"

Date of:

Tasks

Educational: teach students how to make an application from ready-made forms .

Corrective: develop a sense of form and auditory perception, attention, memory, visual perception. Build a positive emotional state.

Educational: cultivate the ability to work in a team.

Equipment

Colored paper, oilcloth, napkins different colors, blanks for applique, a poster with the image of a tree.

During the classes

1. Organizing time- 3 min.

What is the lesson on the account now? (Second.) Now we will have a labor lesson.

Let's remember what we might need in a labor lesson. (Children name what is shown in the pictures.)

Now let's play. (Children close their eyes, the teacher removes 1-2 images, the children, opening their eyes, must guess what is missing on the board.)

We have seen that you are very observant. All good fellows.

Now let's test your listening skills. While the song is playing, think about its mood, what color best suits the mood of the song. Choose stripes desired colors and put it in front of you. (A song about spring sounds.)

Questions:

What colors did you choose? Why?

What seasons is the song about?

What colors fit the description of spring? What - to the description of winter?

2. Updating knowledge - 3 min.

Guys, what time of year is it? What happens in spring with nature?

The arrival of spring is best seen in the forest: the forest comes to life, animals wake up after hibernation, birds begin to sing.

Let's remember which birds live in the forest and try to guess them by their voices.

(An image of a tree hangs on the board, a child who guesses the voice of a bird hangs its image on the board.)

3. Introduction to the topic of the lesson - 2 min.

And now let's guess what image of a forest bird we will make with you today. Let's hear the riddle!

Flying all night

gets mice.

And it will become light

sleep flies into the hollow.

Owl talk. Questions:

What color is an owl's plumage?

Guys, are owls big? Who can show...(Children show with their hands the approximate dimensions of the owl.)

What does an owl eat?(Mice.)

Where does the owl live?(In the forest, in the hollow of a tree.)

4. Work with technological map - 8 min.

4.1. Explanation of the flow chart by the teacher.

Questions:

From what geometric shapes consists of an image of an owl?(The body is a circle, the wings are a semicircle, the eyes are a circle, the beak is a triangle, the ears are a semicircle, the paws are a triangle.)

Application manufacturing sequence

We take the blank of the body - a circle of brown color.

We take blanks of wings - two semicircles of black color.

Glue two wings to the body blank on both sides as shown in the figure.

We take blanks for the eyes and glue them to the body just above the middle.

We take the beak blank - an orange triangle - and glue it in the center of the body.

We take the blanks of the ears - two orange semicircles - and glue them on the "head" of the owl.

We take the paw blanks - two orange triangles and glue them to the owl's body.

After that, we “plant” the owl on a tree - we glue the finished application of an owl on a tree branch.

We make the crown of the tree. Look at what the crown of the tree is made of (what color napkins?).

We tear the napkin into uneven pieces and form the crown of the tree.

4.2. Restoration of the technological map by students.

The called student restores the technological map from those available on the board finished parts applications, commenting on their actions.

5. Physical education - 2 minutes.

Owl

Owl Owl,
Big head,
Sitting on a bitch
Looking in all directions
How will it fly.

tree

The wind blows in my face

The tree swayed.

Wind, hush, hush

The tree is getting higher and higher.

6. Making crafts by students - 15 min.

7. The result of the lesson - 2 min.

Exhibition of children's works, marking.

An owl as a symbol of wisdom and just an interesting image has long and firmly entered our lives. Modern clothing decor is also using this cute bird with might and main.

It would seem that the peak of popularity is behind us and the fashion trend for it will soon pass, but no - even at the latest fashion shows you can find such a decorative element as fabric owl applique on dresses, sweaters, T-shirts and even hats, both for children and adults.

Fashion trends in clothes - owl applique

Below you can find ideas for drawings of this night bird, color and texture combinations, alterations of clothes for yourself or your children.

Fragments of the Dolce & Gabbana women's and children's collection with an owl appliqué.

There are many other beautiful applications in the form of forest animals made of fabric, as in the photo below (there are squirrels and chanterelles here), but for now all attention will be focused on the owl.

On children, plain t-shirts with large bright applications look especially fun. From these photos you can get ideas for inspiration and creativity, in order to apply this method to decorate your maybe not very favorite everyday things that are not worn, but only gather dust in the closet.

One can imagine in this way restoring old t-shirt, or almost new, on which a small hole or a stain from tea, coffee or tomato sauce is in the most visible place in front. Since the "patch" will be large enough, the speck may not be so small. So don't rush to throw something away just because it needs minor repairs. There is actually not much work, but the result will be noticeable to everyone, you will not be left without attention.

Applications, as can be seen from the photo below, also look interesting on fabrics with pronounced embossed textures.

Owls usually sit on branches, it can be an oak tree with its interesting leaves, or a cherry blossom, whatever! On the dress of the girl, two huge specimens of fabric are sitting. :)

Knitwear is also fully decorated, a sad owl sits on an autumn apple tree with apples and already turning yellow leaves and waits for winter. I don’t dare to say what kind of technique on the red dress of the girl on the left with a bunny, but I am inclined to believe that this is still embroidery.

blue women's dress with two owls on branches that are completely different in shape and appearance - the top one is completely stylized, and the bottom one is very reminiscent of the one that was in the cartoon about Winnie the Pooh. And what, it is quite possible to depict such an owl with a lace in the form of a tail of Eeyore, which he somehow lost.

And finally, baby hats. Please note that lace elements are used in many things, in the photo below this can be seen in greater detail. Probably, lace trim is also in fashion. I personally don’t like this combination, something doesn’t fit here, but this is only here, and this is my personal opinion, which does not claim to be the ultimate truth.

It is possible that soon I will continue the “bird” theme, because I have already accumulated a number of photographs with owls, not necessarily fabric applications, there are drawings on dishes, wooden and ceramic figurines, toys and much more.

The owl hasn't left for good, it's back!

Clothing decor is important not only for adults, but also for the little ones. Here are photos of templates for decorating blouses, dresses, romper suits, kids' suits. Little raccoon, hedgehog, panda, dragon, giraffe, car, you can transfer these drawings directly from the screen to tracing paper by attaching it and circling the contours by pressing hard.

Applications occupy a special place in children's creativity. They can be made of any materials, they can be voluminous and flat. The application "Owl" will combine all these characteristics.

Work materials

To run the application you will need:

  1. Rigid cardboard blue color. To make the picture more rigid, you can take thick cardboard from the box and paint it with blue gouache.
  2. Colored paper. You will need gray, brown, green, white, black and yellow.
  3. Feathers. Down is also suitable, hard large feathers will also fit.
  4. PVA glue.
  5. Glue "Moment" transparent.
  6. Scissors with rounded ends. Such a child will not get hurt.
  7. Simple pencil.
  8. Ruler.
  9. Compass.
  10. Cotton wool.
  11. Black and dark green markers.

Beginning of work

Before starting work, an adult needs to prepare all the materials.

  1. It is necessary to cut out templates from thick cardboard: a large oval (body of an owl), a medium-sized circle (head), a circle smaller than average (whites of the eyes), a small circle (pupils), a high triangle with one sharp corner (beak), a small square with rounded corners (owl toes), a branch of any shape with a width slightly less than the rectangles for the fingers, and leaves of any shape and size.
  2. Small feathers do not need to be specially prepared. Large feathers need to be cleaned of cuttings and cut into smaller pieces.
  3. Cardboard can be prepared independently or together with the child.

When everything is prepared, the application "Owl" from paper can be performed.

Step-by-step instructions for preparing parts

  1. From gray paper you need to cut out the body of an owl and the head. To do this, a template is drawn on paper, then both circles are cut out along the resulting contour.
  2. The whites of the eyes are similarly cut out of white paper. There should be two white circles.
  3. From black - pupils. You should get two small black circles.
  4. From yellow paper two triangles are cut according to the pattern. Then they are folded in half, and a small incision is made at the base. In the colored direction, the base is bent to the length of the cut.
  5. Also, six small squares are cut out of yellow paper.
  6. A branch is cut out of brown. Application "Owl" - spring craft, you need to make leaves.
  7. Cut them out of green paper. The number of leaves can be any.

Assembly of the application

Application "Owl" is assembled according to the following algorithm:

  1. For a quarter of the length of the entire cardboard, counting from the bottom, a branch is glued with PVA glue.
  2. On the top of the branch, edge to edge, the body of an owl is glued with the same glue.
  3. The head is glued a little with an overlap.
  4. Under the body of the owl, right on the branch, the toes are glued. Three fingers - close to each other, the remaining three - after a certain distance, also back to back.
  5. The whites of the owl's eyes are glued to the middle of the head.
  6. The beak of an owl is glued by a special method. A thin layer of glue is applied to the bent edges. Then the triangle folds slightly along the fold, and in this position the bent base is glued with the fold up. Then the same is done with the second triangle, only it is glued close to the top one and folded down. You should get a small pyramid that will stand out from the general flat picture.
  7. Pupils are glued to the middle of the proteins.
  8. Cotton wool in the form of clouds is attached to the blue background around the owl with Moment glue.
  9. Feathers are randomly glued to the body and head. You need to use the same glue. Feathers need to be attached so that they remain fluffy and soft.
  10. With a black felt-tip pen, you need to separate the fingers of an owl, and draw veins on the leaves with dark green.

The craft is ready! It remains to arrange it in a frame or hang it on the wall above the baby's bed.

There are other varieties of such crafts:

  1. Application "Owl" from fabric.
  2. "Owl" from natural materials.

Application "Owl" from fabric is performed in the same way as from paper, only instead of colored paper, scraps of fabric are used.

In crafts made from natural materials, real ones are used instead of paper branches and leaves.

Application "Owl" in any case looks very beautiful.

Subject: Application "Owl"

Tasks:

Develop paper processing skills: to form the ability to mark up using a template, the ability to cut with scissors along a curved contour; teach self-production of the product, following the instructions of the teacher;consolidate the rules for T. B when working with scissors;

Develop an eye, fine motor skills hands, logical thinking, memory;

To cultivate accuracy in work, diligence, aesthetic taste.

Equipment: a sample of the finished product, circle templates, scissors, glue, colored paper, an exhibition of books by V. Bianchi.

During the classes.

1.Org. moment.

Long awaited call

The lesson starts.

2 . Checking the readiness of jobs.

To make the work boil

Get everything ready for the job

We will glue, craft -

Everything should be in order.

Let's check if everything necessary tools and the materials are on our tables? We will need: scissors, glue, colored paper, templates, landscape sheet.

3. Statement of the topic and objectives of the lesson.

Today in the lesson I suggest you make an application of one fairy-tale hero. Guess who this character is.

Sleeps during the day, flies at night

And scares mice. (Owl)

4. Conversation

What fairy tale did we read recently, where the owl is the main character?

What do you know about the owl?

What is the owl a symbol of?

Who wrote this wonderful story?(portrait of Bianchi)

Love for nature and interest in science were formed in Bianchi in childhood. He was born in the family of an ornithologist.

Father constantly took little Vitaly with him into the forest, explaining to him every bird and animal. From childhood, his father taught him to write down everything interesting in a notebook. In numerous notebooks, Bianchi kept observations about the habits of birds and animals, proverbs, hunting stories and stories of experienced people. Thus, material for future books was accumulated.

Bianchi's main book is the Forest Newspaper, a unique encyclopedia book about nature.

Discussion of the fairy tale "Owl"

Why did a difficult situation arise in the life of an old man?

What happened? (The owl flew away). Why?

Why?

Why?

Why?

Why?

How has the old man's life changed?

Why?

On what did the well-being of the old man depend? (From the common efforts of the heroes of the tale).

Everything in nature is interconnected. The loss of at least one link leads to a violation.

What did the old man do to make things the same as before? (Ask the owl for forgiveness).

What did the owl do? (I forgave the old man).

You need to have the courage to correct your mistakes. You need to be able to forgive.

5 Preparation for practical work.

Craft Analysis

- What is an application?(creating an artistic image by gluing parts - paper, fabric, leather. Used to decorate the house, clothes.)

What material is the application made from?

What colors do we need?

Look carefully and tell me what parts it consists of? (circles, semicircles, quarters )

How many full circles will it take?

List the parts of the body that are made up of whole circles.

(Head-torso, eyes).

List the parts of the body that are made up of semicircles. (wings, ears )

How can you get a semicircle? (Fold the circle in half and cut )

List the parts of the body that are made up of quarters (nose, paws )

What can you say about the size of the circles? (different sizes )

Here are the templates of circles of different sizes.

What is a template? (sample, contour of the desired product )

On which parts do we need the largest circle?

(template No. 1, torso, wings.Fabric can be used for wings )

How many circles should be cut from this pattern?

What colour?

What part of the body do you need template #2 for? (ears, nose, paws )

How many circles should be cut from this pattern? (2)

We cut out the eyes using the ruler template No. 14

6. Technical work plan.

Now let's make a work plan.

(cards are turned over after the children name the stage of work).

1. Outline the template, all the details (put the template on the wrong side of the sheet in the corner of the paper)

2. Cut out all the details (cutting in a circle, move the paper, not the scissors)

3. Stick on the base (apply a small amount of glue with a brush)

After our Owl is ready, you can add your own details to the appliqué, decorate it. What can be added to this application using

the same templates and colored paper? (Sun,…)

7. Before we get started, let's remember

Safety rules for working with scissors and glue.

Work with scissors only at your workplace.

In the workplace, keep scissors closed only.

When working, do not hold the scissors with the rings up, but only forward from you

If the cut piece has fallen, close the scissors, put them on the table, and only then bend over and pick up the piece.

When you're done with the scissors, put the scissors back in the case.

8. Performance of work by students. Individual help.

9. Evaluation of works . Work posted on the board

Selection of the best works.

Did your work please you?

"Whatever you try, that's what you'll be happy about"?
