How to survive contractions: devices for active childbirth. How easy is it to move contractions? Contractions in primiparas

So the period of pregnancy is coming to an end, the woman is waiting for when she finally sees her child. Contractions and the period of childbirth is the most important stage to which future mom should definitely prepare and come fully armed. Understanding the physiology of the processes occurring in the uterus and other organs of the reproductive system helps many to go through this stage with minimal discomfort.

Labor contractions are associated with pain, but it can be significantly reduced by observing a few simple rules. Massage techniques, the ability to relax and rest during periods of calm, change of position and other techniques will greatly facilitate well-being. But first, about what signs of contractions before childbirth a pregnant woman can feel.

Signs of true contractions

Contractions can be divided into and true. Training uterine contractions occur almost from the very beginning of pregnancy, but are felt only from the 20th week. With skillful influence, their intensity can be reduced (relaxation techniques, massage, warm bath, change of activity or posture). They do not differ in a clearly traceable frequency, they can disturb several times a day or a week. The interval between spasms is not reduced.

True contractions are more pronounced, accompanied by pain. A woman cannot influence their intensity and duration (no methods lead to relaxation of the muscles of the uterus). An important feature of generic contractions is their periodicity.

The first signs of contractions before childbirth may resemble pulling sensations in the lumbar region, passing to the lower abdomen, over time the pain intensifies. Attacks of contractions become longer and are observed more and more often. The interval between contractions at the first stage can reach up to 15 minutes, later it is reduced to several minutes. In general, there are several signs that determine the onset of true uterine contractions, signaling the onset labor activity:

  1. Contractions appear with a certain frequency.
  2. Over time, the interval between attacks decreases.
  3. The duration of the contraction increases.
  4. The pain syndrome intensifies.

On examination, the obstetrician determines the gradual opening of the cervix, in parallel, a discharge of water can be observed.

Behavior during contractions

The onset of labor is certainly a very exciting period for a pregnant woman, but it is necessary to concentrate as much as possible and fix each contraction of the uterus, the duration of the contraction and the duration of the relaxation period. Between contractions, you need to try to relax, breathe deeply, in order to supply the muscles with oxygen as much as possible.

You should not immediately call an ambulance and go to the hospital - contractions can last up to 13-15 hours and it is better to spend part of this time in home environment with loved ones, not in a hospital room. Households can support and tune in to positive, the husband can lend his shoulder and help in finding the most comfortable position.

Comfortable postures for waiting out the period of contractions

At home, you can look for a comfortable body position that will make it easy to wait out the period of uterine muscle contraction. Here are the most comfortable positions for this period:

  1. vertical position. You can lean your hands on the wall, headboard, chair and maintain an upright body position during the fight.
  2. Sitting on a chair. It is necessary to put a pillow under the buttocks and sit on a chair facing the back. During the fight, cross your arms on the back of the chair, and lower your head into your hands. It can be used only in the initial period, when the child is still high enough.
  3. Reliance on husband. A pregnant woman can put her hands on her husband's shoulders (both partners are standing), during a fight the woman leans forward, arches her back in an arc. The husband massages the lower back and shoulders.
  4. On knees and elbows. Get on all fours and relax all your muscles.
  5. On a fitball or toilet. Pregnant women are not recommended to sit during contractions, the baby is gradually moving along the birth canal and a hard surface can make this process difficult. Therefore, a fitball (a sports ball that you can sit on) is an indispensable item during contractions). In its absence, you can sit on the toilet.
  6. Lying on my side. It is often easier for a woman to endure contractions when she is in a prone position. In this case, it is better to lie on your side, put pillows under your hips and head.

Other tricks to wait out the fight

The question of how to facilitate childbirth and contractions worries every woman. There are several tricks to achieve the desired effect.

Walking

You don't have to take breaks. For labor activity, it is more useful if the expectant mother is on the move (no need to overdo it - walking at a moderate pace will be enough). While walking, the baby will put a little pressure on the muscles of the cervix with its weight, and stimulate its opening. In order not to interfere with the baby, it is better to keep your back as straight as possible (do not stoop). Heels can help with this, find the highest possible (contractions and childbirth are the only period of pregnancy when they can and even need to be worn). It is noted that in women who are on the move during labor, childbirth is faster and easier.

Concentration on a foreign subject

During contractions, look at some object at eye level (a vase, a picture, or any other). Distraction can bring relief from contractions. You can sing (even if there is absolutely no hearing and voice).

The ratio of contractions and processes occurring in the body, methods of independent psychological training

Experience each fight separately, try not to think that the next one will come soon. Associate the pain with some positive memory. One can imagine that this is a wave that rolls onto the shore and then disappears. Correlate the contraction with a flower bud, which blooms more and more from each attack, and in the center of it is the long-awaited baby. Some women are helped by awareness of the processes that occur at this time in the body. Think that this pain is not an injury, but just a reaction of the body to the opening of the cervix and the tension of the uterus itself. Think about the child, the more it hurts you, the easier it is for him to be born into the world.

Massage

Try self-massage techniques:

  1. Press during the period of muscle tension on a point that is located in the most protruding zone of the pelvic bones. The pressure should be strong enough to cause discomfort and some pain.
  2. Stroke the side of the abdomen with your palms. You can do this both from the bottom up and from the top down.
  3. You can do circular strokes of the center of the abdomen with the hands, this will also reduce pain.
  4. Spend rubbing the lumbar region with fists (knuckles). The movements should be vertical, and the hands should be located approximately at the level of the sacral dimples.

Impact on biologically active points

Try distraction techniques and other areas of the body to relieve pain. Some may not see the connection between pressure points and muscles contracting during contractions, but it has been practically proven that such a connection exists.

  1. Influence the skin of the forehead - carry out smoothing movements from its center to the temples. The pressure should not be strong.
  2. With your fingers, smooth out light movements from the wings of the nose to the temples, this will also allow you to relax.
  3. Make patting movements in the lower part of the face in the chin area.
  4. Act on the point between the index and thumb, on any hand. Movement should be pulsating. If it is correctly determined, in response to pressure, you will feel pain.

Breathing exercises

Breathing differs depending on the phase of contractions. There are 3 stages in total:

  1. Initial, it is also called latent or hidden.
  2. Active.
  3. transitional.

After passing through all the phases, the period of expulsion of the fetus begins directly. Breathing during contractions and childbirth has its own differences. Consider each stage of contractions, childbirth and breathing during these periods.

Breathing during the initial and active phase of contractions

The duration of the initial phase can last from 7 to 8 hours, during this period, uterine contractions occur regularly every 5 minutes, the contraction itself lasts from half a minute to 45 seconds. Cervical dilation is observed up to 3 cm.

Then there is an increase in seizures and the active phase begins. It lasts up to 5-7 hours. The intervals between pain attacks are reduced to 2 minutes, and their duration reaches 60 seconds. The cervix continues to open, and the size of the pharynx reaches 7 cm.

During these periods, a woman should alternate periods of deep and shallow breathing.

When a contraction comes, it is necessary to inhale and exhale through the mouth at an accelerated pace (like a dog), during the calm period it is necessary to breathe deeply and evenly, entering through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

Breathing during the transitional phase of contractions

Then comes the period of slowdown (transitional phase). In its length, this period rarely lasts more than an hour and a half. Contractions last up to one and a half minutes, and the interval between attacks is from half a minute to a minute. During this time, the cervix should open as much as possible (10 cm) in order to let the baby through. Often a pregnant woman feels unwell, dizzy, chills, nausea. For a woman, this is the most difficult phase, attempts are already being felt and they must be restrained until the obstetrician allows you to push. Otherwise, swelling of the cervix and its numerous ruptures are possible.

Breathing during this period can help control the pushing. To do this, you need to breathe in the following sequence: first, two short breaths, and then a long exhalation.

Breathing during expulsion

After the uterus is fully opened, the woman should help the baby and start pushing. Contractions during this period are replaced by only short periods of muscle relaxation, but in general they are less painful.

Breathing should oxygenate the muscles as much as possible. To do this, during the period of attempts, you need to take a deep breath, hold your breath and strongly strain all the muscles of the abdomen. If one breath is not enough, then the woman needs to exhale, take a deep breath 2 times, then hold her breath again and tighten all the muscles. When the fight is over, you need to breathe evenly and calmly.

After the birth of a child, the work of the mother does not stop, there is another crucial stage ahead - the birth of the placenta. The process is almost the same as the birth of a child, only much faster and less painful. The doctor can additionally inject oxytocin intravenously, which will allow you to give birth to the placenta in just one attempt.

Do not be afraid if, after the birth of a child, a woman experiences uterine contractions - this is a normal process that allows you to stop bleeding and significantly reduce the size of the uterus.

With the right psychological attitude, the necessary knowledge about the birth process, some help from households and medical personnel, the sensations during contractions before childbirth and during childbirth are tolerated quite steadfastly. By combining breathing techniques and other relaxation techniques, you can reduce pain to discomfort. Many women describe the postponed childbirth something like this: “I didn’t wait for severe pain”; "I thought it would be worse."

There is an opinion that the very process of the birth of a newborn child into the world must simply be endured. Relatively, it is. However, there are several truths that will show you how to ease the pain of labor and childbirth. The tips that you will learn from this article will help you take the birth of a baby a little easier. Shall we start?

In order to talk about the elimination of pain, you must first understand where it comes from. Initially, I would like to make a reservation that any pain (even a cut on the finger) is the body's response to a certain danger. In this case, there can be no danger itself, however, information about the cut (if we are talking about an ordinary injury / splinter) immediately enters the brain.

A similar situation occurs during fights. It is in order for a woman to understand that the process of childbirth is “just around the corner”, their beginning is characterized by pain. Nature is so arranged.

From a medical point of view, pain during contractions and childbirth occurs for a number of the following reasons:

  • the uterus opens (here the first harbingers of pain appear, but so far short-term and almost not causing inconvenience to the woman);
  • pressure of the baby's head on the uterus (the pain becomes quite strong, because the baby is literally ready to be born);
  • passage of the baby's head through the birth canal.

To endure this difficult moment in life, a woman needs to be well prepared in advance.

2. How to prepare for childbirth and contractions at home

Many expectant mothers begin long before the due date to look for recommendations on what helps women in labor endure pain during labor. I think this is the ideal option.

With time to spare, you can properly prepare for the most important day in the life of any woman.

What measures can be taken:

  1. attend courses for young parents (here you will be taught both proper breathing and different ways relaxation, and postpartum care for the baby);
  2. work out on a fitball (this is a huge ball, exercises on which will help the mother in the future to more easily endure the period of childbirth);
  3. collect a “pregnant” bag in advance (otherwise you run the risk of pretty “pulling” your nerves);
  4. calculate the way to the maternity hospital (flies will take you by private transport or you will go “on a net”; to a certain maternity hospital, or “how lucky”; give birth under a contract, or “in the general order” - this also saves nerves);
  5. set yourself up positively (a good mood is half the battle).

If you go to the hospital mentally (and physically) prepared, childbirth will be as painless as possible.

3. How to behave during contractions

Before giving birth, every woman needs to "survive" contractions. Unfortunately, this is what scares women in labor. Most often, contractions overtake the expectant mother at home, and then the question arises of how to relieve the pain.

There are several ways to help you cope with this "test":

1. Breathe. Do not hold your breath in the hope that this method will help you eliminate pain. The pain will go away on its own with time. Control your breath:

  • breathe deeply: inhale through the nose - exhale through the mouth, slowly;
  • inhale air through the nose and release it “with sounds” and sharply through the mouth;
  • breathe like a dog.

2. Get in a comfortable position. Each woman in labor has her own position. The most common postures that help "pacify" the pain are the following:

  • get on all fours (you can “swing” your hips a little to the left and right);
  • lie on your back and spread your legs to the sides as much as possible (legs should be bent at the knees);
  • turn on your side, put a pillow between your legs for comfort.

3.Take a warm bath or shower.

4. Ask your husband to give you a massage:

  • massage the “zone” from the coccyx to the waist with your fist, pressing a little;
  • massage the "zone" from the sacrum to the lower back in the same way as the first method.

Also, you can watch videos on the Internet about the correct methods of massage. Fortunately, there is a huge variety of them in the vastness of the worldwide web.

5. Get fitball.

6. drink water little sips.

4. How to behave during childbirth

During the birth itself, you need to behave calmly. Treat the process itself as the most important work in your life on which your promotion depends. From a certain point of view, this is true. You will get a promotion - you will become a happy mother.

Follow the unspoken rules of childbirth:

  • keep calm;
  • follow the advice of your obstetrician;
  • breathe during the next contractions, rest in the intervals between them;
  • be optimistic.

Try to "control yourself", do not scream, because you are wasting the strength that you will need during attempts.

5. How to behave during attempts

Attempts are the most crucial moment of childbirth. And the most painful. Here it is important to trust your doctor as much as possible and push only when "the doctor allows."

Pushing often resembles the process of defecation, and causes the urge to go to the toilet. It is not recommended to do this until the doctor "gives the go-ahead". The fact is that if a woman in labor pushes "as she has to" - she risks starting the process of giving birth to the child herself ahead of time, even before the uterus is fully opened. This is fraught with breaks. Also, with untimely attempts, you can pinch the baby's head (including the carotid artery). This is extremely dangerous for the life of the child.

Unfortunately, it is here that there are no specific tips that will help you endure the pain. If you want, scream! If you want, cry! Do anything as long as it doesn't hurt your baby.

6. Medical care

There are times when no breathing techniques help a woman in labor cope with pain. In this case, medicine comes to the rescue. A woman can be given pain medication if the doctor insists on this or this item is provided for by the concluded contract.

As an anesthetic can be offered:

  1. Epidural anesthesia (however, the consequences after it can be unpredictable, up to paralysis).
  2. Promedol.
  3. Local anesthesia.

Medical intervention is prescribed in extreme cases, for example:

  • if the whole process of childbirth is accompanied by nausea and vomiting;
  • if the behavior of the woman in labor is unconscious and uncontrollable;
  • if there is a threat to the life of a woman and a child.

You should not panic, you know perfectly well that not a single woman has yet left the maternity hospital without giving birth. And after you see your little happiness and feel the heartbeat of your newborn, all the pain will be forgotten instantly. You will be extremely glad that you endured this pain with your baby.

If you found this article helpful, please share it with your friends. And subscribe to my updates, because I say goodbye to you for a while. Bye bye!

Hello my dear readers. If you are already preparing to become a mother, then you are probably interested in how to survive contractions during childbirth.

There are many rumors about them: that contractions are unbearably painful, that you will behave inappropriately, that they last for hours and even days ...

Some of the rumors are justified. Contractions can be like this - but not everyone! And there are many ways to make this process easier. That's what we'll talk about.

In the third trimester of pregnancy, a woman experiences sensations more than once, similar for light contractions. If they are not associated with problems - for example, danger premature birth that are better to stop - most likely, you are experiencing training contractions. Nature prepares the uterus and corresponding muscles to close childbirth.

The closer to the end of pregnancy, the more often the muscles of the birth canal will train. And at some point, it will already be the beginning of labor activity. How not to miss it?

I hasten to reassure you - it is very difficult to miss childbirth, they do not occur suddenly. This is a long process, it begins timidly, gradually growing in all its manifestations. In the case of the first birth, it always takes longer than the second time, and indeed it can take even a day.

But don't be scared! - Painful and frequent contractions will not fall on you suddenly and will not accompany you all the time of childbirth.

Let's talk about that how to determine what contractions indicate the onset of labor:

  • false contractions will surely stop after a short time - it is enough to change the position of the body, walk around, lie down, you can even sleep, and the pulling sensations in the lower abdomen, the tone of the uterus will pass;
  • genuine labor pains will gradually intensify - if you observe tension in the muscles of the uterus at intervals of 15-20 minutes for at least 40 seconds 4-5 times in a row or more, this is already the beginning of labor;
  • often at this time the cork leaves, and pour out amniotic fluid That means it's time to go to the hospital.

What does a woman feel during contractions?

Believe me, girls, you will definitely understand that childbirth has begun. It is impossible to confuse: pain during a fight originates somewhere in the back, grows, rolls like a wave, goes down to the hips, at the same time giving to the stomach. This is a very specific experience, possible only during childbirth.

And let's immediately tune in to the fact that the fight is never long - her duration 15-60 seconds. Just a minute of strong sensations, when the muscles diligently open the cervix, and then nature will give you relax.

The interval between contractions is at first quite large - half an hour, 20 minutes, 15 minutes. The rest period is reduced gradually. When the intervals between muscle tension of the woman in labor are 3-5 minutes, this full birth, you should already be under the supervision of an obstetrician at this time. Between this and the initial stage, sometimes 3 hours, sometimes a day, can pass.

What helps reduce the pain of contractions

Mood is important

There is an opinion that pain during childbirth can be reduced to zero. I have not met women who did not experience pain at all, but everyone unanimously repeats in the reviews that rumors about labor pains are exaggerated. And most importantly, after giving birth, a woman quickly forgets these experiences.

Therefore, let's agree that we will not be afraid and tune in positively: if you do not shrink in fear of what is to come, then nothing painful will happen.

Relax and have fun! You are about to meet the baby - think about it! And you will get rid of the annoying stomach and become light and airy again!

Movement

Previously, women were forbidden to get out of bed during contractions. Poor things! After all, it is known that the tension of any muscle easier survive or withdraw moving.

Walk possible and necessary! In ancient times, women did not lie down at all during childbirth - children come out more easily under the influence of gravity, therefore they gave birth on their haunches or special chairs. And lying down childbirth was invented, they say, for one curious French king who wanted to see how it happens.

Ball

Fitball helps a lot during fights. Only it should not be completely inflated so that the ball is soft. Then it is convenient to sit on it, swing, spring, rotate the pelvis, roll, which relaxes muscles and contributes accelerating expansion cervix.

Contractions lead to the dilatation of the cervix, usually in the first contractions the cervix has a dilatation of 1-2 cm during normal labor.

After the first contractions, my amniotic sac was pierced. After this procedure, the contractions began to gradually increase, there was practically no particular pain, since the interval between contractions was still large (5 minutes), and the contraction itself was short-lived - 40 seconds. From that moment on, I began to apply my knowledge and listen to the advice of obstetricians. And most importantly, I fully tuned in to childbirth, I no longer worried about anything around me, I had one goal now - to give birth to my child. I thought only about myself, my feelings, thought about how to help myself endure the contractions as easily as possible.

MY FIRST TIP: How to behave during the first contractions

During contractions, try not to lie down, it is better to walk as much as possible, the more you move, the faster the cervix will open. Go to the toilet more often bladder. You can apply the following breathing exercise: inhale deeply through the nose when the contraction comes and exhale slowly through the mouth when the contraction is gone. That is, inhalation passes to exhalation at the moment of transition through the peak of the contraction.

MY SECOND TIP: How to handle frequent contractions

During long and painful contractions, it was not my stomach that hurt, but my lower back and sacrum were severely broken. I was helped to cope with the pain by massaging the lumbar region with the fingers of a clenched fist. Movement up and down, left and right. Breathing can be left the same as for light contractions, or you can breathe, imitating how you blow your mouth on a candle. In this case, breathing during the fight should be frequent. And yet, if someone else is present in the roadblock besides you, then you can talk about abstract topics. 3 more girls experienced contractions with me in the rodblok, they all behaved very individually. I tried not to pay attention to their behavior, tried to disconnect from everything and tune in only to myself, otherwise, if you see how others are experiencing contractions, and often this is not a very personal sight, then my own feelings can also become more painful.

The most painful contractions come just before the birth, when it's time to push, there are a few minutes left before the baby is born. I think that it is quite possible to distinguish contractions from attempts, when there are attempts, then there is a desire and a feeling akin to the fact that you want to empty your intestines. There is a strong pressure in the perineum, this is the head of the child has already taken its place in the birth canal. A mixed state arises, I no longer knew where to go, I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t lie down either, any position caused me pain, practically nothing helped me from all of the above, it seems that you can no longer endure, many remember this moment little childbirth, including me, only separate moments, since consciousness at this moment is in a clouded state. I got the impression that the most immediate prenatal process can no longer be controlled by myself, and there is no way to alleviate this condition. Feelings of happiness that everything is over, the absolute absence of pain, lightness in the body come only after the birth of a child. It's good that such a painful condition does not last so long. The only thing that saves here is just the thought that a little more patience and everything will end, and I will finally see my child.

MY THIRD ADVICE: How to behave during the birth of a child

Listen carefully to your obstetrician. It is very important. Your doctor will tell you when to push and when not to. I realized that although it is difficult to concentrate on anything in this moment, but you have to try, because your health and the condition of the baby after childbirth depend on it. If you do everything right, you may be able to avoid tears and perineal incisions.

Over time, all the pain will be forgotten, only the most beautiful moments of the birth of a child will remain in memory.

I wish all expectant mothers mild pregnancy and painless childbirth!

The expectant mother is looking forward to the birthday of the child (birth), not only because she wants to see her baby, but also because she is tired of pregnancy. At the same time, a pregnant woman, especially a primipara, worries about how long the birth will take, and how easier it is to endure contractions during childbirth.

A little about fights

Labor pains are called periodic contractions of the muscles of the uterus, accompanied by pain. The average duration of contractions varies from 9-13 hours, while the contraction period is from 15-20 minutes.

If at the beginning of the onset of contractions, the frequency between them is about half an hour, then by the time of delivery, the time between contractions is reduced to 2-3 minutes.

The pain of contractions also increases. At first, a pregnant woman can still endure pain, but as the contractions become more frequent, they seem to her more and more painful each time. This is due to the fact that as you move along the birth canal, the fetus puts more and more pressure on the woman's pelvis.

Labor pains cause quite pain, but it will be much easier to transfer them if you follow a few rules. Let's look at the main phases of contractions, as well as recommendations on how to reduce pain during them.

preparatory

This phase is considered latent, its duration is from 5 to 9 hours. In this phase, the birth canal opens. All this time the woman can stay at home. The main task during this period is to relax and save energy. During the latent phase, the cervix can dilate up to 5 cm. The duration between contractions at the beginning is 30 minutes, and by the end of the phase it reaches 10 minutes.

What to do to mom:

  • Keep a fight diary
  • At the time of contractions, breathe deeply into the abdomen (inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth). The ratio of inhalation and exhalation is 1 to 2 (inhale for 3 seconds, exhale for 6 seconds)
  • Lie down, relax, spend time with your husband
  • listen to music
  • Carry out hygiene procedures, put yourself in order. You can take a shower, the water temperature should be no more than 38-39 degrees.
  • Have a bite. A small amount of fruits, vegetables, dairy products is acceptable.
  • Collect a bag for the hospital

What not to do in the preparatory phase:

  • Panic and randomly rush around the apartment
  • Eat well before the birth
  • forget about Required documents to the maternity hospital

Active

In this phase, contraction intervals are reduced from 10 minutes at the beginning to 3 minutes at the end. There is an opening of the neck by 7-8 cm and the discharge of water due to the natural rupture of the bladder. It is important here not to miss the moment and come to the hospital when the intensity of contractions is at least 5 minutes.

What to do to mom:

  • Talk and interact with your child
  • Focus on the result, not the process
  • Stroke your stomach in the direction from the waist to the navel. You can also clench your hand into a fist and at the moment when the next contraction overtakes, rub your lower back with it in the area along the spine. It will help you endure the pain.
  • Breathe slowly and deeply, trying to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
  • Look for a comfortable position in which it would be easier to endure contractions.
  • Stimulate the approach of childbirth, walk more.

Yes, yes, do not lie in bed, but move along the corridor or generic. When a labor pain overtakes a pregnant woman standing on her feet, it is easier to bear it, since the woman’s body is not relaxed, but is in some tone.

In addition, the periodic movement of a woman on her feet will allow the fetus to descend faster to the cervix, which will speed up its opening. And, therefore, will bring the moment of childbirth closer.

A pregnant woman should not be afraid that she will become exhausted as a result of being constantly on her feet, and she will not have the strength to give birth. Enough strength, as nature intended.

What not to do in the active phase:

  • Sit up straight on a solid whole pelvis
  • Drink and eat
  • Retain urination
  • Taking painkillers on your own
  • Refuse doctor's advice
  • Contract and tense muscles
  • Go to the hospital on your own
  • Shout, fear, panic

The last point can lead to the termination of labor due to a stressful situation. In addition, during the cry, the air is inhaled superficially and the mother and child may experience oxygen starvation.

Transitional phase (lowering)

Phase period from 1 hour to 2 hours. In this phase, contractions last up to 2 minutes. There are pain sensations in the sacrum, it can feel sick, tear, freeze, throw in a fever.

What to do to mom:

  • If there is a desire to push, then you must first call a doctor.
  • If the doctor says that the dilatation has occurred, but it is still too early to give birth, this means that the baby's head is still high. In this case, the mother needs to push vertically at the time of contractions.
  • If the opposite situation occurs, when there is no full disclosure, but you want to push, you need to stand in a knee-elbow position, thus rolling back the child in order to reduce pressure on the perineum.

What not to do:

  • Start pushing without doctor's permission
  • Squeeze hips, stand up abruptly, jump
  • Push in the face and puff out the cheeks
  • Holding back a bowel movement due to inconvenience and shame

Positive attitude during childbirth

By talking to your child and assuring him that everything will be fine, you set yourself up in a positive way. Follow these tips and by doing so, you will help yourself to ease labor pains.
