New Year crochet potholder. Scheme and description

New Year's Eve!

STEP ONE - KNIT THE CLOTH OF THE POTTON CLOTH WITH A HOOK.

Air row - we knit a chain of 27 air. loops + 2 loops for lifting to the second row

The first row (as in the diagram) - we knit 26 double crochets (the 27th column is the same 2 air loops that we did to climb to the second row)

The third row (as in the diagram) - 2 air loops for climbing a row + 26 double crochets ... etc. according to the scheme.

STEP TWO - MAKE THE NOSE AND EYES on the snowman's tack.

I drew a knitting pattern for the nose and eyes below. There is nothing complicated there. The tack will become completely New Year's, after embroidering snowflakes - this task can be entrusted to your child - he will like to make snowflakes.

STEP TWO - WE DO THE LOOP STRING WITH THE HOOK OF THE POCKETS and sew on the lining.

As we can see, the edges of the potholder are not as beautiful as we would like - therefore, you need to tie the entire New Year's potholder around the edges with single crochets - we make the posts tightly so that the border of the potholder is quite rigid and keeps its shape well. At the corners of the tack (to make the corner neat) we knit 3-4 columns in one corner loop.

We sew fabric on the reverse side of the potholder (you can make a layer of synthetic winterizer or another layer of plump fabric. And that's it - our new New Year's potholder is ready.

And now let's make another tack in the snowman theme

SNOWMAN IN A HAT - in the form of a New Year's potholder.

We'll need yarn of three colors, bigger buttons for the eyes and smaller ones for the mouth. And also a piece of natural white fabric for lining the back of the tack (the fabric must be natural so that it does not melt when it comes into contact with hot pots and pans).

STEP ONE - KNIT THE CLOTH OF THE HOOK POCKETS.

air row(not in the diagram) we collect a chain of 17 loops + 2 air. loops for lifting to the second row.

Second row(according to the diagram) - we knit 17 double crochet stitches (the 18th stitch replaces the 2 air sts that we scored for lifting)

Third row- we collect 2 air. n. to rise to the third row - and we knit a double crochet in ONE loop of the previous row - and so on for knitting tacks below.

STEP TWO - WE PROCESS THE EDGES of the knitted canvas of the New Year's tack.

Our knitted tack cloth has rather clumsy edges on its sides (from the fact that we subtracted and added columns - this always does not look very aesthetically pleasing). We need to smooth out these uneven edges. To do this, we again take the hook and go through the edges of the entire tack with single crochets - changing accordingly colored thread when the color of the edge of the New Year's potholder will change.

STEP THREE - SEW THE FABRIC SIDE from the inside of the pot holder.

Our crocheted the tack on the wrong side has a bunch of knots, thread interlacing - and we need to hide it all.

We take a fabric (natural, so that it does not melt on contact with hot pans) - and cut out the same silhouette of a tack from the fabric. We will need to sew this fabric part to the back of the New Year's tack (pre-process this fabric part 0 by bending the cut of our fabric along the edges - and stitch it)

If we want the potholder to be thicker, we can also make a centipon or other thick material between the fabric and knitted side.

FATHER FROST ON THE NEW YEAR'S POCKET.

We'll need- 3 small balls - red, white, pink (or beige) + 2 black buttons and one red for the nose. It will be much prettier if white threads will be slightly fluffy (but not mohair or angora - woolen tacks burn) such disheveled cotton yarn is on sale - with ponytails and tassels - it will look great on the beard and mustache of our tack Santa Claus.

STEP FIRST - WE KNIT THE CLOTH OF NEW YEAR'S POTTON.

Air row (it is not on the diagram) - we collect a chain of 24 air. loops + 2 loops for lifting to the second row.

Second row (according to the scheme) - we knit 24 columns with a crochet (25 columns are the same 2 air points with which we climbed to the second row).

Third row - we collect 2 air. loops for lifting on a row + we knit 24 double crochets.

Fourth row - the same - but here it starts new color mating… And you must know how to knit a thread of a new color.(I just talked about this when we knitted the first potholder in this article).

STEP TWO - we crochet a MUSTACHE to Santa Claus on a New Year's tack.

Now it remains to sew the eyes, nose and mustache to our New Year's potholder so that it looks like Santa Claus. Mustache knits easily(here is a small diagram below) -

air row- 6 air. p + 1 air.p for lifting -

Second row - single crochet - double crochet - double crochet - again single crochet - single crochet - and finish with a connecting column.

STEP THREE - we process the edges and the wrong side of the New Year's knitted pot holder

We process the edges of the tack with single crochets - changing the color of the thread as we move along the colored zones. At the corners of the tack, we knit THREE single crochets in ONE corner loop (to get a neat corner).

At the top of Santa Claus's hat - we make a loop (6 air loops and we knit so many single crochets in them - to get a neat “bagel-loop”).

Cover the reverse side of the tack with a cloth.(if desired, you can make a layer of synthetic winterizer or fleece inside.

Good afternoon, today we will start crocheting very stylish and such wonderful potholders in New Year theme. They will delight you with their elegant look in the kitchen. Fill the interior with a trembling anticipation of the upcoming New Year holiday.

I have prepared for you detailed diagrams knitting - using them you can quickly and easily make such New Year's tacks.

Let's start with the simplest one...

Potholder crochet "Snowman looks at the sky"

What you need- a ball of white and blue threads and a little more for the nose. A piece of fabric for sewing on the back side.

What you need to know- 1) knit double crochets 2) you need to be able to alternate threads of different colors in knitting. It's simple - I'll tell you right now ...

HOW TO KNIT A NEW YARN IN A DIFFERENT COLOR…

Have to take new thread- do on it one air loop and dress next to the loop (previous knitting) that you now have on the hook. Thus, two loops hang on your handle - the old color and the new color - these two loops are considered mentally as one and continue to knit as if nothing had happened further with a new color - stretching the next column simultaneously through these two multi-colored loops (as if it were one loop)

Now let's get to work...

Third row (as in the diagram) - 2 air loops for climbing a row + 26 double crochets ... etc. according to the scheme.

At the corners of the tack (to make the corner neat) we knit 3-4 columns in one corner loop.

We sew fabric on the reverse side of the potholder (you can make a layer of padding polyester or another layer of thick fabric. And that's it - our new New Year's potholder is ready.

And now let's make another tack in the snowman theme

SNOWMAN IN A HAT - in the form of a New Year's potholder.

Potholder Sunflower

By the same principle we knit the front side. Only now we add another yellow thread to get a motley surface.

When the second circle is connected, you need to take both parts and connect them along the edge with each other using two yellow threads (in 2 threads) with single crochets.

The sunflower is almost ready, the petals are left. Petals knit in a circle. For this thread yellow color in one loop we knit - 2 CCH, 1 CC2H, 2 CCH. Skipping one st, fasten in the next. So we knit around the edge. It remains to tie a loop for which you can hang a sunflower. To do this, between the petals, it is necessary to tie a chain of 20 VPs and then we tie it with RLS, we fix it well. Sunflower is ready!

Potholder Sunflower video master class

Now we knit the head. We start knitting from the edge of the circle. We knit 8 sc, turning over, we knit another 8 sc. We turn over again and knit 6 sc, making one decrease on each side, turned over and made 2 more decreases along the edges. Fasten the thread.

Now we make a harness and a loop. We start on the opposite side of the ladybug's head. We tie RLS in a circle, and, having knitted in a circle, we make a loop of 10-15 VP. Tie six spots, each of which has three circular rows (according to the principle of knitting the base of the potholder). Sew circles and make eyes either from beads or from white yarn. tack Ladybug ready!

Potholder Peacock

You will need:

  • threads of different colors;
  • hook;
  • sequins;
  • thread;
  • needle.

Description

torso

Tack Peacock begins with knitting the warp. Dial a chain of 3 VP.

1 p. - knit 7 PS in a circle.
2 p. - we make increases (17 CCH).
3 p. - 37 CCH.
4 p. - 50 CCH.

Tail

The peacock is a creature with a gorgeous tail! Therefore, try to choose the threads so as to reflect the beauty of the tail. We knit an odd number of CCH fans. They are knitted by knitting several CCHs in one loop. We knit 4-5 rows different colors. In each row we increase the number of loops in the fans.

We tie with the same thread that was used to tie the body.
