In a crazy race for comfort.

How you destroy everything and everything in your path...

There is a mountain or an endless ocean in front of you -

You will destroy them, but in vain! After all, you can't live without them.

You depleted the riches of the bowels, cut down the green forests,

And littered the atmosphere ... Think, man!

We keep saying that there is a lot of work to do.

By these rivers, dunes and swamps,

At the gigantic sunrise

Now we are not up to it. Bye.

Often in educational institutions thematic classes or costume shows. Their goal is to tell children that there is an ecological fashion. The children learn how to make their own costumes. waste material while respecting and appreciating manual labor. There are a lot of ideas from which you can choose an original and beautiful outfit. You just need to know the execution technology.

Making an outfit for a fairy-tale character, a superhero or a transforming robot from improvised means is really simple. It is enough to connect the imagination and not be limited to one type of material. Original items come from:

  • paper (old newspapers, candy wrappers, cardboard boxes);
  • plastic (bottles, disposable tableware);
  • polyethylene (garbage bags, oilcloth, packing bags);
  • natural materials (dry leaves, cones, dried flowers).

The main advantages of creating an outfit are the availability of materials, ease of execution. Most often, the costume is assembled literally from the garbage that can be found in every home. Among the shortcomings, one can note the fragility of products and the lack of comfort in them. It should be understood that these things are not for everyday use, but for performances or games. Manufacturing process

Getting started, it would be useful to talk with the child about who he wants to be, what materials he would like to use the most. And already starting from his preferences, prepare the necessary funds for the manufacture of an unusual costume.

From cardboard boxes

Boxes are the perfect material for making a boy's costume. For example, it is very easy to make an image from the future - a "steel" robot.

To create you need:

  • two boxes (rectangular for the body, square for the head);
  • foil;
  • scotch;
  • scissors;
  • colored paper;
  • wire;
  • hot glue;
  • gouache.

The process of work will take a little time, the main thing is to do everything in stages.

  1. Head. Extra parts are cut off from the box to make a cube with three sides. On one of them, make a cutout for the face. Cover the top of the box with foil. Optionally, make a decor in the form of a small antenna (use wire, colored paper and adhesive tape).
  2. Torso. Trim excess parts so that the box does not have a bottom base. On the top, cut a recess for the head, on the sides - for the hands. Paste the box with foil, use colored paper and gouache to work out the decor (buttons, mini-screen, energy strips).
  3. Legs, hands. It is enough to put on a child a regular black or gray suit, attach several elements of foil with double-sided tape.

In addition to the robot, the following costumes for children can be made from the boxes: a knight, a dinosaur, a house, a Lego part, SpongeBob and others.

From plastic bottles

This material allows you to make incredible DIY dresses for girls. Images of flower fairies, mermaids, princesses will appeal to little fashionistas.

To make a mermaid dress, you need to prepare:

  • bottles of blue, white, blue flowers(at least 20 pieces);
  • scissors;
  • nail polish (pearl pink);
  • glue Moment.

Work process.

  1. Cut out oval scales from the bottles (4-5 cm for the bodice and 6-7 cm for the skirt and train).
  2. Cover the elements with nail polish to get the effect of color overflow.
  3. Glue the scales to the base (you can take an old dress). Paste the bodice with small details, skirt and train - with larger elements. Arrange them randomly, imitating fish scales.
  4. Make a wreath. Cut out 3 flowers from a green and a blue bottle. Blue invest in green, stick. Wrap a plastic bag around the rim, straighten the free end, fold in the shape of a flower. Glue 3 bottle flowers to it.

When cutting out the details of the costume, you can easily get hurt on the edges of the bottle. This stage of work should be entrusted to an adult.

Suit from plastic bottles you can make for boys (alien, transformer, superhero).

From disposable tableware

This material allows you to create simple but spectacular children's costumes. To make ball gown for a girl, you need the following materials:

  • plastic cups (depending on the height of the child, an average of 200 pieces);
  • stapler;
  • scissors;
  • zipper;
  • thread, needle.

Work process:

  1. Leaf. Cut the glasses in half, remove the bottom. Insert two parts one into the other (the top one is 2 cm higher than the bottom one), fasten with a stapler. Spread the resulting fastened parts in 2 rows from the bottom up to the height of the bodice. The sides and back are made from the smooth parts of the glasses.
  2. Skirt. Glasses are collected in tiers and fixed with a stapler. The first tier is the widest. Closer to the waist, the skirt should narrow by reducing the number of glasses.
  3. Assembly. Sew the skirt to the bodice with threads. To hide the paper clips on the skirt, you can insert a whole one into each cup, fix it with glue.

If you use glasses of different colors, you can lay out a mosaic (geometric patterns, flowers, rainbows).

From old newspapers

A little imagination and free time will allow you to make a costume even from waste, for example, from unnecessary newspapers. It is easy to make a tutu out of them.

Tools:

  • newspapers;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • stapler;
  • thread, needle.

Description of work:

  1. Top. Wrap the newspaper around the fabric base, fasten with pins, sew. As a basis, any unnecessary dress with straps can be used. Fold the newspaper with an accordion, straighten it to make a fan, attach it to the bodice, fasten it with threads as a decor.
  2. Skirt. Fold the newspaper sheet into a cone, fasten it with a stapler in the narrow part. You need to lay out the resulting details in layers, forming a pack of ballerinas. Attach the skirt to the base using glue and a stapler. If necessary, the edges of the cones can be made more textured - randomly cut out zigzags or pre-fold the newspaper with an accordion.

Making clothes from waste material is a simple and exciting process. There are many variations of designing a dress for a girl from newspapers or magazines.
Necessary materials and tools
Preparing details for the skirt
Prepared triangles must be carefully connected to each other

From the biscuits we cut out the blank of the bodice
On the reverse side of the newspaper blank, a detail of the old T-shirt is attached

From trash bags

Suit from garbage bags do-it-yourself - the easiest to perform. A child can cope with work even without the help of an adult. To create a Batman superhero costume you need:

  • black thick garbage bags;
  • scotch;
  • scissors.

Description of work.

  1. Cloak. Cut two large bags to make a rectangle. Glue the two parts obtained in the middle with adhesive tape (you get a wide, even canvas). Cut semicircles along the edge of the cloak to give the rectangle the shape of a wing. bat. Cut 4 ribbons 6-8 cm wide from the bag. Glue two of them with adhesive tape in the form of loops so that the raincoat is put on the shoulders. The two remaining ribbons are attached to the edge of the raincoat, this will allow you to tie it to the child's wrist.
  2. Decor. The hero's mask is cut from the same material. Then you should print or draw two yellow superhero emblems, attach one with tape to the back of the cape, the second to the chest.

Any boy will be happy with such a heroic costume from packages.
materials
The main blank is made from a large plastic bag
Daisies
From the strips it is necessary to cut the petals

from dry leaves

To create a costume from unnecessary waste material in the fall, leaves, branches, and cones are used. Craft Nice dress for a girl in autumn style, you can do it in a few hours.

Materials:

Description of work:

  1. Treat the collected leaves with paraffin so that they do not dry out (dip each leaf into boiling paraffin, put it on a newspaper until it dries completely).
  2. Take an old dress for the base, preferably with flounces on the skirt. Sew the leaves to the base so that it does not shine through them.
  3. From the remaining leaves, you can weave a wreath, add bright branches of mountain ash to it.

The children's autumn costume looks very impressive, and the leaves treated with paraffin do not wither and do not dry for a long time.

Costumes made from improvised materials for girls and boys do not require large financial costs and effort to make them. However, you must remember the safety rules:

  1. It is worth making sure that the child is not allergic to the materials of the future costume.
  2. Do not use sharp and dangerous objects that can dig into the skin, scratch and cause discomfort. Avoid small parts that a child can accidentally swallow.
  3. Before putting on a suit, you need to make sure that the glue is completely dry, and its smell has completely disappeared.

Do not trust needles, scissors, stationery knives and hot glue to children. Even if a child knows how to handle them, an adult should always be there and look after the work process.

By following these simple rules, a joint lesson with a son or daughter will bring a lot of positive things, and a junk material suit will teach the child to appreciate nature, fantasize and create.

Video

A pleasant event unexpectedly descended - a masquerade ball! You don't have the time or money to order at the atelier, run around the shops in search of original costumes! What to do?! Well, firstly, calm down, secondly, remember that we can do everything with our own hands, and thirdly, look around. What do we always have at home? Right! Plastic bottles, newspapers, trash bags, boxes. From this we will make the most original with our own hands carnival costume.

From plastic bottles

Mermaid or kikimora

The most beautiful place on a plastic bottle is the bottom. We cut a lot of them right away. They will decorate the hem of the dress, the bodice, you can glue the original crown out of them. For a mermaid or kikimora costume, we need green bottles.

After the bottoms have been cut off, you still need to cut off the necks, and then carefully and evenly cut the remains of the bottle lengthwise into three equal parts. Burn small holes in the narrow part and collect them on a string into a garland that will become a skirt. Glue, sew or staple the bottoms along the edge of the skirt.

The bodice of the dress is best made by sheathing the old T-shirt with green plastic details. But the crown can be assembled from lush feathers cut from bottles and attached to a hoop or ribbon.

flower princess

The stand-up skirt for this costume is made from a wire frame. Any thin fabric is stretched on it. This is where the difficulties end and the creative part begins. Cut out petals from bottles of different colors, collect them into flowers and attach to the skirt. Cut half-liter bottles in a spiral and attach the "serpentine" to the skirt.

Astronaut

A scrap suit for a boy can be made by simply tying two plastic bottles together and attaching them upside down to the astronaut's back with straps. And in order for our jetpack to be operational, glue red-orange patches imitating fire into the necks with your own hands.

Helmet, hat, crown

The largest plastic bottles are simply specially produced in order to make various hats for a hero, an alien, a king, a gentleman, a puss in boots, etc. out of them.

The photo shows how to make these hats. Cut out the fields from thick cardboard.

Costumes from…

leaf dress

It's only natural to go for autumn Ball in a dress from autumn leaf fall. To create such a masterpiece with your own hands, you will need little money: just a piece of fabric or an old dress, a large bag maple leaves and glue.

It is good if the leaves are a little wet. If they dry, the edges will curl up and the dress will become “shaggy”. Spray them with a little water from a spray bottle and start gluing them to the fabric.

Do this from the bottom up, overlapping the previous row. Try to endure color scheme. You can align the leaves with a warm iron, stroking them through damp gauze.

This dress is very beautiful, but not durable. If you're not going to wear it to the ball right away, mist it lightly every 4-5 hours. cold water so that moisture does not get on the fabric.

Package dress

Take garbage bags in two colors, cut them into one continuous sheet, and build a suit of ... rain, for example.

Dresses from improvised means are amazing. Few people know that packages, even the largest ones, are glued so tightly that they can be inflated like Balloons. Inflate 15-20 bags and attach them to long skirt in several rows. Such a gorgeous princess has never been seen before.

On the contrary, you can not inflate the bags, but cut them into a fringe, and then sew them on with lush red flounces.

newspaper printing queen

If you have piles of old read newspapers waiting for the next repair, it's time to put them to work. See what royal dress print ladies can be made by hand. All you need to do is take a printed sheet, fold it in half for rigidity, roll a bag out of it and attach it to the skirt in any way. The assembly order is the same as in the autumn costume.

Dinosaur and cowboy from boxes

A great dinosaur costume can be made from boxes. You can fasten the parts with a stapler, glue or tape. It requires imagination and engineering.

Another carnival costume for a boy is a cowboy on a horse. The muzzle of a horse can be made from the same plastic bottles. It’s a pity that it’s difficult to dance in such outfits, and you won’t invite a girl to a waltz, but a gift for best suit secured.

alien costume

The most profitable outfit is the alien dress. Yes, because no one knows what he really looks like. Invent what you want, cut, glue, draw with your own hands everything that fantasy allows. To indicate that you are wearing an alien costume, simply attach an antenna to your head and paint your face green.

Cloud

The cloud costume is made of synthetic winterizer. Take a white cloth or an old pillowcase.

Cut a hole in it for the head and wash lots and lots of white synthetic down. White tights complete the look.

From old unwanted bottles plastic bags, paper or CDs can make countless various crafts and things. We invite you to learn all the secrets and tricks of the process of creating at home such an outfit as a dress from various materials found at hand.

Very often, themed festive evenings and events are held in kindergartens or schools. Parents are faced with the question of what to wear to their child. Every parent wants their child to be unique and unique. In order to achieve this, it is absolutely not necessary to run to the store and purchase expensive goods and outfits. There is a wide variety of ways and techniques for creating an unusual and beautiful outfit for a holiday with your own hands.

We collect a dress from improvised material: ideas for use

In addition to waste material, in absolutely any house you can find old things that no one else uses, but it's a pity to throw them away. Items such as old gloves, boots, dresses, leather belts and many other materials at hand can be easily transformed into a unique and inimitable costume on children's competition. It is enough just to turn on your boundless imagination and surrender to creative impulses. In addition, to the process of creating a carnival festive costume you can attract the little heroes themselves. It will be very exciting and useful for children to do applied art.

Cuts of old tulle or scarves can be used as the basis for creating fairy wings. The frame for such wings for a girl can be made from durable metal wire. Also, very original and unique decorations can be made from plastic bottles. These accessories can complement the costume of a fairy fairy.

Slightly decorated old accordion boots are great shoes for a sea pirate. An old wide belt with a buckle, large buttons and a large feather in a hat are also a suitable addition to a pirate costume. Help the boy make one of the elements of a pirate costume with his own hands.

Very beautiful costumes can be made from different packaging materials, candy wrappers, napkins, newspapers, magazines, stationery. Some needlewomen can knit from plastic bags very fashionable dresses and stylish hats. From ordinary garbage bags or plastic bags from the store, you can create polyethylene yarn and use a hook to knit original clothes - both for a sophisticated fashionista and for children.

Workshop on making a dress for a party using CDs

We bring to your attention a simple and quick master class on making a bright and unusual dress for costume party. According to this description, we offer two ways to create a dress from improvised materials:

  • Overlaying CDs on the basis of an evening dress;
  • Creating a dress from the CDs themselves.

So, the fastest and easiest way to make unusual dress next. Take the old and no longer necessary for you matching dress and start decorating it. The method and principle of decoration can be absolutely any. You can decorate only the bottom of the dress, shoulders or waist area. The principle of fixing CDs is as follows: thread the ribbon through the hole in the disk and sew it to the base of the dress.

The second option for making a dress is a little more complicated. Here you will need to create an entire dress from old CDs.

For work you will need the following materials:

  • Lots of satin ribbon;
  • Lots of old CDs;
  • Decorative elements for the dress.

Start creating a dress from CDs. Cut off a piece of satin ribbon. The size of the piece of ribbon should correspond to the radius of the CD, multiplied by four.

Thread one end of the ribbon through the hole in one disc. And the second through the hole of the other and tie the ends. In this way, form a vertical row of your dress.

Now tie the vertical rows with other pieces of satin ribbon in a horizontal direction. Then you can tie more disks on this frame. Also, with the help of ribbons, fix the decorative elements to the base of the dress.

After such simple manipulations, you got an unusual dress made from improvised materials.

A selection of thematic video on the topic of the article
