Easter cake - a diagram and a step-by-step description of crochet

Let's start knitting an Easter basket. She will be very good and practical gift in that great holiday, and will also be a great themed decor.

We will need:

  • yarn of two colors (white and light brown);
  • hook No. 3.5;
  • plastic bottles (volume 1 liter);
  • lace braid;
  • beads.

Stages of work:

To make the product dense, we knit in 2 threads.

  1. From the amigurumi ring we knit 6 single crochets. We tighten the ring.

2. We continue to knit a circle up to 48 loops. There will be 8 rows in total. This will be the bottom of the cake.

3. 9 row: 48 single crochet behind the back wall.

5. We knit 13 rows, counting from the row connected behind the back wall. Here's what we got.

6. We turn the resulting cup inside out and hide the remnants of the threads.

7. Turn the cake back inside out.

8. Cut out the middle from the bottle.

If the diameter of the middle of the bottle is larger than the inside of the box. We cut it from the side and insert it inside.

We sewed:

10. Now let's start knitting caps. To do this, we knit the same circle as for the bottom of the Easter cake.

13. Now we tie together the two parts of the lid of the box. This is done with single crochets.

14. The Easter cake cap is ready. It remains only to decorate the sides with white fondant. We knit a single crochet. We skip one loop, yarn over, in the second loop - three double crochets. So we tie the entire edge of the cake.

15. Sew the remaining three loops of the row to the side of the brown cup.

16. It remains for us to decorate the Easter cake with beads and lace braid.

17. Inside you can live sweets.

The gift is ready!

Master class: how to tie a Easter cake and eggs for beginners?

Also, we bring to your attention an Easter composition with Easter cake and multi-colored colorful eggs. It will create a festive mood or be a lovely gift.

For crocheting Easter cakes, it is best to use 100% acrylic threads.

We will need:

  • yarn: for Easter cake (white and Brown color), for eggs (your choice);
  • hook No. 1.75;
  • glass beads or beads;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • cardboard.

Stages of work:

1. First we knit the bottom of the Easter cake:

1st row: Cast on 2 air loops. First we introduce the hook. We knit 6 columns without a crochet.

2 row: 6 increments. From each previous column we knit two columns without a crochet. Total: 12 columns.

3 row: Increases through the column. Total: 18 columns. Example, 1 single crochet, increase in the second column, and so on the whole row.

4 row: Increasing every 2 single crochet. Total: 24 columns.

If the bottom of the cake shrinks. Take a larger hook.

5 row: Increases every 3 columns. Total: 30 columns.

6 row: Increasing every 4 columns. Total: 36 columns.

7 row: Increases every 5 columns. Total: 42 loops.

8 row: Increasing every 6 columns. Total: 48 loops.

9 row: Increases every 7 columns. Total: 54 columns.

10 row: Increasing every 8 columns. Total: 60 columns.

11 row: Increasing every 9 columns. Total: 66 loops.

12 row: Increases every 10 columns. Total: 72 columns.

The bottom is ready. Its diameter is 7 cm.

13 row: Without increments, behind the back wall of the loop.

2. Cut out a circle from cardboard. Diameter 7 cm.

3. We turn to knitting the walls of the Easter cake. To do this, knit 26 rows without increments.

4. Inside the connected cup, we insert a synthetic winterizer circle, and on it - a previously cut out, cardboard one.

5. For the sides of the cake, cut out a suitable strip of padding polyester and cardboard. We insert inside and stuff the cake with padding polyester.

Do not forget to fasten the edges of the cardboard strip with a stapler, tape or glue.

As you can see, we have attached a paperclip. This will be needed to know where the start of the row is.

6. Let's start knitting the top:

1 row: 10 single crochet, 1 decrease. So to the end of the row. Total: 66 columns. Decrease is performed in the form of two single crochets knitted together.

7. We continue to make decreases every 9 columns, then 8 and so on until the middle of the top of the cake. We will not describe this in detail. Because knitting the top resembles knitting the bottom of a Easter cake. The only difference is that there were increases for the bottom, and decreases for the top. As a result, there will be 18 single crochets.

If necessary, add a little synthetic winterizer so that the top of the cake is convex.

8. 1 more row of decreases through each 1 single crochet. Total: 12 single crochet. We continue to make reductions until the hole is completely closed. We cut the thread and hide it inside.

10. Finish the edges of the fondant:

We knit 2 half columns, a double crochet, 2 half columns, a single crochet. And so on to the end of the row. We finish with a connecting column.

11. Sew the fudge to the Easter cake and embroider with glass beads or beads.

12. Now we will knit the egg:

1 row: 2 air loops. In the first loop we make 7 columns without a crochet.

2 row: An increase in each column. There are 14 loops in total.

3rd row: No increase.

4th row: Increase through each single crochet. We start the series with an increase. Total: 21 loops.

5th row: No increase.

6 row: Increase, 2 single crochet. Until the end of the row. Total: 28 loops.

7th row: No increase.

8 row: Increase, 3 single crochet. Until the end of the row. Total: 35 loops.

9-15 rows: No increase.

16 row: Decrease, 5 single crochet. Only 5 cuts. Total: 30 loops.

17 row: No reductions.

18 row: Decrease, 4 single crochet. Only 5 cuts. Total: 25 loops.

13. Gradually fill the egg with padding polyester.

19 row: Decrease, 3 single crochet. Only 5 cuts. Total: 20 loops.

20 row: Decrease, 2 single crochet. Only 5 cuts. Total 15 loops.

14. Completely fill the egg with padding polyester. For it to acquire round shape. We continue to make reductions until the hole closes. We hide the thread inside.

Thus, we knit the required number of eggs.

Video on how to tie Easter cake

But I found this master class of knitting an Easter souvenir on the YouTube channel, the author tells in detail and in detail and shows by example how to create such a creation, I’m not afraid of this word, because it’s really very beautiful and neat! If you are interested, be sure to check out this masterpiece…

We knit an Easter composition with knitting needles

This type of craft is suitable for needlewomen who prefer knitting needles. Or those who do not know how to crochet at all.

We will need:

  • stocking knitting needles;
  • plastic or cardboard circle for the bottom;
  • hook;
  • yarn;
  • beads;
  • sintepon.

The yarn must be taken a little thicker than the knitting needles. Then the synthetic winterizer will not shine through the canvas.

Stages of work:

Let's start knitting Easter cake:

We collect 9 loops with a brown thread.

1 row: facial loops.

2 row: 9 increments. To do this, we knit two from each loop. One for the back, one for the front. Total: 18 loops.

3rd row: no increase

4 row: 1 front, one increase. Until the end of the row. Total: 27 loops.

5th row: no increase.

6 row: 2 facial, one increase. Until the end of the row. 36 loops.

7th row: no increase.

8 row: 3 facial, increase. 45 loops.

9-11 rows: no increase.

12 row: wrong side. Fold line.

13-27: Wrong side without additions.

Back to knitting facial surface, but already with a white thread.

28-32 rows: facial loops.

33 row: Decrease will begin from this place. 3 facial, 1 decrease. Until the end of the row. Total: 36 loops.

34.35 rows: no decrease.

36 row: 2 facial, decrease. Until the end of the row. Total: 27 loops.

37.38 rows: no decrease.

Now insert the circle at the bottom. Cut it out of a bottle or cardboard. We stuff the cake with synthetic winterizer.

39 row: 1 left, decrease. Total: 18 loops.

40.41 rows: no decrease.

42 row: decrease to the end of the row. Total: 9 loops.

It remains to tie the eggs:

Cast on 6 loops.

1 row: 6 increments. Total: 12 loops.

2,4,6 rows: no increase.

3 row: 1 front, increase. 18 loops.

5th row: knit 2, increase. 24 loops.

7th row: knit 3, increase. 30 loops.

8-22 rows: no increase.

23 row: 3 facial, 1 decrease. 24 loops.

24-26 rows: no decrease.

27 row: 2 facial, 1 decrease. 18 loops.

28.29 rows: no decrease.

30 row: 1 front, 1 decrease. 12 loops.

31 row: no decrease.

32 row: decrease to the end of the row.

We tighten the loops and break the thread. We hide it inside. We fill the egg through the hole from the typesetting edge. We sew up. Do the same with a few more eggs.

And this is the second version of the craft with knitting needles:

We will need:

  • yarn;
  • a plastic cup;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • tape measure;
  • hook;
  • spokes.

Stages of work:

1. We measure the size of the circle and the height of the plastic cup.

2. We knit a rectangle of the same size. Front surface.

3. Here are two diagrams of drawings:

4. You can choose from them or some other pattern.

5. We iron the resulting rectangle. We combine it into one canvas. We put on a glass.

6. We crochet the bottom of the Easter cake and attach it to the walls. All this is done on the wrong side.

7. We turn the craft on the front side and carefully sew it to the top of the glass.

8. For fondant, we knit a white rectangle (front stitch).

9. You can do it like with facial loops:

10. So with the purl:

11. Contract the rectangle into a rounded shape. This is done with a seam: needle forward. We fill it with synthetic winterizer and sew it to the Easter cake.

12. The craft is ready.

And a couple more interesting ideas for the Easter craft:

Here is a basket. The eggs are already bigger.

And how do you like this composition, knitted

Or eggs with cute faces. Children will be delighted!

Here is an interesting selection we have prepared for you.

Until new posts!

Easter cake will be an appropriate souvenir for Easter, crocheted. According to our master class, you can do it without difficulty. You can tie both parts of the Easter cake (“paska” and “icing”), sew them together, fill them with filler and decorate to your liking. Today we offer you a slightly more time-consuming option, but, in our opinion, which will be much more interesting! Namely, a mini-box in the form of an Easter cake.

Such crochet Easter cake will take root in any household. A needlewoman can comfortably accommodate in it, for example, all available needles or small things like buttons, beads, eyes for toys. By the way, another convenient use of such an Easter cake is a needle bed. The top layer of "glaze" is soft, and the needles in it hold great.

And a girl of any age will be happy to store children's jewelry or hairpins in Easter cake.

To make a crochet Easter cake in the form of a box, you will need:

acrylic yarn in two colors: white or cream for "icing" and brown or beige for the knitted cake itself;

hook suitable for yarn size;

lining for the box (in our case, green cotton jersey);

a decorative element for decorating the inside of the lid of the box - in our case, this is a patch on knitwear and an ornament for a hairpin;

beads and / or beads for "sprinkling" glaze;

a button to match the main colors of the yarn or "sprinkling";

a little filler - syntapon or silicone;

an empty reel of yarn (in our case, from YarnArt Violet, 6 cm in diameter and 6 cm high);

cardboard is thick and thinner;

PVA glue or any other for gluing cardboard;

simple pencil;

thin needles for beads and ordinary sewing;

sewing threads: white or cream, brown, thread to match the lining;

a self-disappearing marker or tailor's chalk (a remnant will do as well);

How to crochet Easter cake: job description

Frame for crocheted Easter cake

For the lid: trace the yarn spool on very hard cardboard.

Cut out the circle.

Next, we circle the bobbin on a softer piece of cardboard - this will be the bottom. Around the resulting circle by hand, draw another circle, the radius of which is approximately 1 cm larger than the inner circle. Do not worry about accuracy: this is a draft moment that will not affect anything in the future.

We cut out a circle along the contour of a larger circle, and then, in an arbitrary order, we begin to crumble the distance between the two circles with small triangles. Like this.

Get "sunshine".

We process the cut of the reel with glue and put it in the "sun", leave it to dry for a while.

We bend the petals onto the reel itself and glue them, pressing them with our fingers so that the glue has time to grab.

The basis for the box in the form of a crocheted Easter cake is ready.

Crochet Easter cake: knitting the "baked" part

To begin with, I selected acrylic yarn in suitable shades: brown, white, cream.

For the first Easter cake, I chose light brown yarn and a 4 mm hook suitable for it. The bottom of the cake is an even circle. Let's start knitting.

1 row. Around the amigurumi ring - 6 tbsp. without a crochet.

We tighten the ring.

2 row. In each column of the previous row we knit 2 tbsp. without a crochet - you get 12 loops in a row.

3 row. In every second column of the previous row we knit 2 tbsp. without a crochet - you get 18 loops in a row.

4 row. In every third column of the previous row we knit 2 tbsp. single crochet - you get 24 loops in a row.

5 row. In every fourth column of the previous row we knit 2 tbsp. without nakida - 30 loops turned out in a row.

6 row. In every fifth column of the previous row we knit 2 tbsp. single crochet - in a row you get 36 loops.

If your base is larger in diameter than the resulting circle, we knit further, adding 6 loops in each row. Those. on the next row you will double every sixth stitch, then the seventh, and so on.

I have the size of a knitted circle is now equal to the diameter of the base.

The next rows - no increments - just single crochets. We knit up until we reach the edge of our base.

I got 12 of these rows. We close the last row with a blind loop, cut the thread, tuck the tail inside out, using a smaller hook for this.

knitted icing

The first three rows - as in the initial knitting of Easter cake.

4 row - without increments, i.e. 18 single crochet.

5 row - we make an increase in every third column = 24 columns.

6 row. - we increase in every fourth column = 30 columns.

7 row - knit without increments.

8th row is the last one. We knit "flowing glaze". First, mark with a marker the place where the loop for the fastener will be. The first "drip" will attach the lid to the cake. We knit 3 vp, on which we then knit 2 tbsp. without a crochet. Next - single crochet on the previous row. The icing flows unevenly, so I alternated different scallops: somewhere it is 3 tbsp. with 1 crochet, somewhere - a double crochet, 2 tbsp. with 2 crochets and again a double crochet in the same loop, etc. Don't be afraid to improvise, let your crochet cake be unique. In the place where the fastener will be, tie a chain of air loops of such a size that, when folded, a prepared button passes through this loop. And then we continue to knit "streaks". We close the end of the row with a blind loop, fasten the thread, cut it off, hide the tail.

Lining

It's a matter of lining.

We need a strip, on the wide side - equal to the circumference of the base, on the narrow side - equal to the height of the base plus one centimeter plus seam allowances.

In our case, the size of the inner diameter of the bobbin is 6 cm. This means that the circumference is equal to the diameter times the number π, i.e. 6x3.14 = 18.84 cm. This is the length of our strip. The width is equal to the height of the bobbin plus a centimeter, in our case it is also 6 + 1 = 7 cm. We cut out a rectangle with these parameters and small seam allowances.

You also need to cut 2 circles from the lining fabric; for their cutting we use a cut out cardboard circle. The seam allowances on one of the circles need to be done more.

We fold the rectangle with the front part inward, combining the sections of the smaller sides of the rectangle with each other. We fasten it with a pin so that there is no displacement, and we sew it with a “back needle” seam or on a sewing machine.

We sweep the bottom, try it on the base cup and sew it with the same seam.

Shorten the seam allowances.

We try on the lining to the cup, turning the extra parts of the rectangle outward.

Assembling and decorating a crocheted Easter cake

So, the lining is already comfortably placed inside the cup. We put the knitted part of the Easter cake on top of it. If the edge of the lining has risen, carefully straighten it between the walls of the cup and the knitted part (for this it is convenient to use scissors).

We thread a thread into the needle to match the knitted part. We sew the lining with the knitted part with a “back to the needle” seam.

Lid. For her, we fit a cardboard circle with a circle of fabric, which we cut out with a good margin. We sew the circle around the perimeter with a “forward needle” seam, put the cardboard part inside, tighten the thread and fix it.

This is what the circle looks like now from the front.

Loosely lay this circle inside the "icing". We thread a thread into the needle to match the glaze and sew a circle, grabbing the fabric from the wrong side. We sew around the perimeter, leaving a small hole for stuffing the lid.

We fill and sew the remaining hole.

The finished lid looks like this.

We try on the lid to the main part of the cake and from the inside we sew one of the “glaze drips” (diametrically opposite to the buttonhole) to the brown part.

We determine the place for the button and sew it on.

You probably noticed the unusual yarn that was used to knit the glaze: white with colored splashes. Still, the finished result was not colorful enough, so I embroidered the frosting on top with pink beads, reminiscent of sweet powder.

That's all. According to the same scheme, they knitted an Easter cake from a different yarn and a slightly different decor - and the finished product looks completely different. We bring to your attention a photo of Easter cakes that turned out in the process of creating this master class.

If you are preparing a crocheted Easter cake according to our master class for a gift, it remains to find out in order to give a souvenir with a thematic content. However, the owner of the unusual box will certainly be happy with the new decoration, and the one made with a hare will be a good addition to it.

Eva Casio specially for the site

On the bright holiday of Easter, we give each other colored eggs. But you can come up with something very original. For example, a knitted cake with bright knitted eggs, which we will tie in this master class.

To knit an Easter gift, we need:

  • Yarn white and brown;
  • Multi-colored yarn (for eggs);
  • Hook;
  • Sintepon;
  • Needle;
  • Cardboard;
  • Scissors;
  • Threads;
  • Beads.

We will start knitting Easter cake from the "dough". Therefore, we take brown yarn and knit 6 single crochets in a loop (hereinafter referred to as StBN).

We double the number of our columns in the new row. In the next we will add StBN through the loop. Then after two, in other rows after three, after four, after five. And we end up with forty-two loops.

Now we will knit a row for the back half loops. This is necessary in order to rise and start knitting the walls of the Easter cake.

Immediately cut out a circle of cardboard equal to the size of the bottom. And let's put it on the bottom. This is necessary for the stability of the finished souvenir.

We knit about thirteen to fourteen rows in height.

And now we will change the thread to white and knit "icing".

We knit one row.

And we will again knit the other for the back half loops. We will return to this series later.

Now let's make 6 cuts. And we knit the row without reducing the number of loops.

Again in the new row we will make 6 reductions.

Let's continue knitting. Let's add white thread to the front half loops (we have them in the second white row) and start knitting smudges.

We knit four V / P (air loops) and we will tie them with connecting posts (hereinafter C / C). We will also knit C / C at the base in the next loop.

We knit several connecting posts and at the base.

We make the next smudge a little more. To do this, increase the number of air to seven. And then we knit smudges different size and at various arbitrary distances from each other.

Now we sew them from below to the Easter cake so that they do not stick out.

From above we sew multi-colored beads on the “icing”. It will be confetti.

Each housewife prepares for the celebration of Easter in her own way.

Someone paints eggs, someone bakes Easter cakes and muffins.

For real needlewomen, everything is easier and faster, they prefer to knit both!

Today I will share with you a description of another Easter knitting. And even if this year you do not have time to tie such a Easter cake, you will impose it next! So add the post to your bookmarks so as not to lose. I knitted my Easter cake from different yarn remnants, but it turned out to be a very spectacular thing that I’m not ashamed to give or even sell. By the way, it is very similar to the real one, when my child saw it for the first time, he immediately tried to lick the “white fudge”. Well, in the process of knitting, I recharged with positive emotions, this always happens when you knit with colored yarn (I mean the testicles that are attached to the Easter cake)

My Easter cake can be washed, everything is provided for 😉, so feel free to let the kids play it, let them play and get it dirty.

And here it is, without the ribbon. I think, maybe it’s better without her, doesn’t she make him lurid?? What do you think? Write in the comments, huh?

Materials and tools:

  • Cotton yarn "Sun" in two strands for Easter cake
  • YarnArt yarn "Jeans" for fondant, but you can also "Sunny" white color, "Charm", "Lilu" from Vita will also do
  • leftover yarn different colors. I used YarnYart "Violet" in two strands, "Iris" also in two strands, "Anna 16" in two strands, "Lotus" in one strand, "Narcissus" in two strands
  • Hook number 4 for Easter cake. And hook number 3 for eggs. In general, for testicles, you can change the numbers of hooks, since the threads are slightly different thicknesses, somewhere on the floor the numbers are larger, smaller, so that the eggs are the same
  • A piece of plastic for the bottom. Then a shampoo bottle came to my aid, and I cut out a circle from it.
  • Sponge for washing ... a car! It costs 14 rubles in a supermarket, but such a sponge is enough for at least two Easter cakes and there is still a little left.
  • A little filler such as synthetic winterizer or holofiber, but you can do without it and insert the same foam rubber under the lid
  • Knitted eggs for decoration. I made 11 pieces. See description on page. , you need #2 (very small)
