We need for sewing a monkey:

• paper pattern without seam allowances;
• main fabric - thin artificial fur(I took the lining from an old jacket);
• synthetic winterizer or other filler;
• for work - threads to match the main fabric, scissors, pins, a sewing needle, chalk for drawing.

We sew a plush monkey - a master class step by step

Fold the main fabric in half face to face so that the pile in both layers is directed down along the body of our pattern.

We lay out the pattern on the fabric, pin it with pins and circle it with chalk.

In this position, we trim along the contour part of the body No. 5 (except for the neck), the details of the ears No. 3 (leaving the upper edge unstitched for eversion), the head part No. 1 only on the right side, the head part No. 2 is also only on the right side, leaving a hole in the middle to turn a whole ball inside out.

The part of the "brain" No. 4 is simply cut out, adding allowances for the seams. Please note this detail is one, so we cut out only the top layer of fabric.

Cut out the rest of the details according to the allowances. We leave a strip of fabric measuring 16x4 cm for the tail, which we later sew along the strip.

We fill the "ball" of the head with synthetic winterizer through the hole that we left in detail No. 2.

We collect the cut-out part of the "brain" along the contour on a thread, slightly tighten it until a hemisphere is formed and fill it with padding polyester.

From the details of the "ball" of the head, ears and "brain" we form a whole head with a needle and thread.

We also fill the "bag" of the body with synthetic winterizer using a wooden stick.

Now we make the monkey make-up, hairstyle and put on New Year's clothes.

For this we need:

• white felt for the eyes;
• two black buttons for the pupils of the eyes;
• red knitting thread for lips;

• blue felt for a coat;
• artificial white fur for the collar;
• hats and boots;
• small beads for beads;
• a strip of white tulle;
• a piece of elastic for a skirt;
• silver ribbon for belt and bows on boots;
• glue and a candle for making a forelock.

We roll the fringe into a roll and our hairstyle is ready. Using glue, attach it to the head.

Pattern for clothes without seam allowances. It's easy to understand. We use the coat detail both for the back and for the shelf. On the shelf at the place of the fold, we make an incision. We fasten artificial white fur on both sides and to the collar.

From the elastic we make a small ring around the waist of the monkey. We pass half of the tulle inside the ring and connect the two edges. We sew the tulle outside the gum. We fold the strip of tulle in half and collect it on a thread with a needle at the place of the fold. The folds should be evenly distributed.

We embroider the mouth with red threads, decorate the forelock with fur, fasten the eyes from felt, and cling to beads from beads. We put on a tulle skirt, and decorate the legs with fur boots, tying them with a silver ribbon.

How to sew a fabric monkey

• 2 types of fabric: brown and light beige;
• filler: cotton wool, synthetic winterizer, holofiber;
• scissors;
• pencil or chalk;
• needle;
• threads to match the fabric;
• ready eyes.

The first stage is the manufacture of a monkey pattern. To do this, draw the details of our monkey on thick paper or cardboard. You will need 2 parts for the body with a head, tail and ears, 4 parts for the legs and 1 for the muzzle. Cut out and transfer to the fabric, leaving 0.5 cm for allowances. We take into account that the details of the muzzle and the front of the ears will be made of light fabric.

At the second stage, we sew the parts of the body from the wrong side, leaving a small area for stuffing the toy, turn it inside out, stuff it. We do the same with the paws, tail and ears.

We take the muzzle - we sew 4 tucks and sew the part to the head with a blind seam, not forgetting to put the filler. We connect all the details of our toy with the same seam. At the final stage, we glue the eyes, the nose and mouth can be drawn or embroidered.

How to sew a monkey out of felt

This material has a number of advantages over other materials. There is a mass bright colors felt, its edges do not crumble, there is no difference between the front and back sides, felt is available in various thicknesses, it is easy to sew and glue.

You will need:

• felt in two shades: brown and beige;
• filler;
• scissors;
• needle;
• threads to match the fabric;
• ready-made eyes or beads.

The principle of making a pattern is the same as for fabric. For the monkey, you will need 2 brown parts for the head, torso, tail and ears, 4 for the paws, 1 beige part for the muzzle.

We sew the toy, starting with the paws and tail, using buttonhole stitch. After stuffing, we sew up the left holes. Then we begin to sew the body, at the same time sewing in the finished paws and tail, leaving a hole for stuffing on the neck.

We fold the ears from the circles and begin to sew the head, sewing the ears into it. Having reached the neck, we sew the head to the body. Leave a hole for stuffing at the crown. The blank for the muzzle can be attached in any convenient way. We make eyes, if desired, you can embroider a mouth and nose.

How easy it is to sew an original monkey from socks

Monkeys are very easy and simple to sew from ordinary children's or women's socks.

You will need:

• 1 pair of socks, preferably terry;
• threads;
• needle;
• scissors;
• synthetic winterizer;
• ready eyes.

Turn socks inside out. We make the markup: one sock is the body of the monkey, its upper part is the head; the lower one, where the elastic is the hind legs, the rest, together with the heel, is the torso. We mark the second sock: the upper part is the muzzle, the elastic band is paws, we cut out two ears and a tail from the rest.

We begin to sew the pattern from the first sock: we sew the paws without fastening the lower part of the body, turn it inside out and stuff our toy through it. We sew blanks from the second sock - paws, tail and ears, stuff and attach to the body with hidden stitches. Then we carefully sweep the muzzle, filling it in the same way. We attach the eyes, the monkey is ready.

How to sew an adorable fur monkey

For sewing toys, it is best to use short fur on a knitted basis.

You will need:

• two types of fur: basic and any light;
• cord;
• decoration elements;
• threads;
• needle.

Sew two balls from the fur of the main color - the head and the torso. Fasten by laying a cord between them - these will be the front paws. Sew the second piece of cord behind the middle from the bottom of the body - these are the hind legs. Attach two small fur balls to the head and one each to the ends of the laces. Make a muzzle out of light fur - an overlay and attach to the head with a seam over the edge. Glue on the eyes.

Monkey in the form of appliqué or embroidery

This method can be used in the decoration of the baby and women's clothing. It is better to use chintz, satin, reps, chesucha, madapolam, cambric in work.

You will need:

• base fabric;
• patches of brown fabric for the body, head, paws, tail;
• patches of beige fabric for the muzzle;
• remnants of black and red fabric - for the eyes and mouth;
• tracing paper;
• scissors;
• threads in tone;
• sewing machine.

We draw a monkey on paper, then we break the drawing into parts: head, torso, paws, tail, muzzle, eyes. We translate into calque. Then we adjust the fabric flaps in size to the components we need and glue each part with interlining. The basis on which the application is made should also be glued. We spread the first layer on the base, these will be paws, ears and tail, we fix it with pins and attach each element separately, along with tracing paper. After that, tear off the tracing paper and cut off everything unnecessary close to the seam. The second layer is the preparation of the torso and head. We act according to the above scheme. The third layer is the muzzle, the fourth is the eyes and mouth. If desired, the mouth can be embroidered and white highlights can be added to the eyes.

Embroidering a monkey is even easier: we prepare the base as for an appliqué, transfer the pattern to the fabric, sew the contours first with a straight line and then with a zigzag stitch. Step width is minimal.
