Knitting hats for boys for beginners. How to knit a hat-helmet for a boy with knitting needles? Even beginners can do it

Helmet. Yarn Peter Pan Wendy composition: 55 nylon (polyamide) 45 acrylic. 50 gr - 170 meters. Recommended knitting needles number 3 1/4 - 4. Exactly 100 grams (2 skeins) were used on the helmet. I knitted in 2 threads with knitting needles number 3 very tight, I was afraid that it would stretch, but I didn’t take into account that this was not pure acrylic, almost did not stretch after washing. The helmet turned out to be very tight and hard, barely pulled on. Softer after washing with conditioner. I advise you to knit with needles number 4 and medium density, do not tighten much. The advice is for this yarn in two additions and for this calculation of loops, which is in the description.

In general, I made a hat for my brainchild (in the photo, the doll is my favorite e.ch.). Simple and, in my opinion, tasteful.
Here I decided to post a detailed photo essay on how to tie it, in short, a master class (although which one of me is a master!).
It will take time for someone like it, it’s 4 pm for me, but still it quickly fits.
So, here we go...

Hope it's clear and understandable ;)

9) Description from the newspaper "Home Atelier", November 2007.

Cast on 84 stitches with red yarn. Knit 37 rows in a circle on four knitting needles with a viscous "gum" 1 * 1 in one thread. Then knit two rows of pink yarn in two strands of the same viscous. Bind off 10 sts anywhere - this is the start of the face hole. Next, knit 3 more rows of pink yarn in two strands of the same viscous. For the next 12 rows, knit with red yarn in two threads also with an “elastic band” 1 * 1. Then 5 more rows of pink and 5 rows of red. Bind off 24 sts on each side. Leave the middle loops on the needle and knit another 26 rows with the same viscous. To round off the forehead, close the edges, first 2, then 3, then 4 loops, and then all the remaining (.
If you do not need ears, then “sew” the sides and top.
If needed. Then dial 18 loops from under the closed 24 from any side (pink yarn in one thread). This is the bottom of the eyelet: work 9 rows, then add 1 on each side on rows 10, 14 and 18, then single crochet again until row 27. In 27, 28, 29 and 30 rows, close 1 loop each, in 31 and 32 - 2 each, in 33-34 - 4 each. And in the 36th row, close the part completely.
Now cast on 18 stitches with red yarn in one thread.
18 loops from under the side edge of the upper part of the cap - the upper part of the eyelet. Knit in the same pattern. Repeat both steps on the other side of the hat. Turn the hat inside out and sew the pink and red ear pieces on each side. Sew the top of the hat to the sides. Cast on 82 loops in a circle (in one thread with red yarn) from under the closed and side loops (for the elastic band that will be around the face). Knit in rib stitch 1*1 for 18 rows. Pin the elastic to the inside of the hat.

HELMET

You will need: yarn Lang VARNS (100% wool, 55 m / 50 g), 100 g - burgundy, 50 g melange in red-brown tones interspersed with blue, knitting needles No. b, hook No. 5.

Knitting density: 15 p. x 30 p. = 10 x 10 cm (front surface).

On knitting needles No. 6, dial 3 sts and knit, adding in each person. in a row, 1 st on each side, until there are 15 sts on the needle. Set aside the work and knit another of the same detail. On the left side, dial 26 sts and knit 15 sts from the set aside knitting needle so that there are 56 sts on 1 knitting needle. Knit 4 rows of faces. ironing, work to postpone. Next, knit a visor. Dial 9 p. And knit 10 rows, adding 2 persons in each. row on both sides, 1 p. = 19 p. Knit an openwork row: 1 chrome., * 2 p. together, 1 yarn over. *, from * to * repeat until the end of the row, 1 chrome.

The next row is purl. Knit the resulting visor with the already existing "ears" and connect the work into a ring. Next, knit 8 rows of faces. n. in a circle. Then we alternate 3 rows of burgundy, 3 color. In the next burgundy row, decrease as follows: divide the work into 4 parts and decrease 2 sts in each row in each part until 8 sts remain on the needle. At the same time, knit 2 color rows after the burgundy row and then another burgundy color. Pull off the remaining 8 sts with a working thread.

Crochet the edge of the cap (visor, ears and back of the head) with a colored thread with a “crustacean step”. Turn the visor up, weave ties 6 15 cm long along the openwork row and sew to the ears.

"Rach step": Crocheted with single crochets from right to left.

Master's advice. When, for one reason or another, there are more loops in the last row than necessary, it is impossible to pull them together so that an ugly hole does not form in the center. The same result can be obtained even with a small number of loops, if the hat is knitted from very thick yarn. To avoid this defect, we recommend doing this. In the front row, knit all the loops, alternating 2 together with the front (purl) and yarn over. Break the thread. Thread the end into the needle and sew only the loops, and drop the yarn over from the knitting needle. Pull the loops tight. As a result elongated loops formed into a beautiful flower.

Hat helmet for girls, various options which are presented in this article will appeal to the most fastidious young fashionista.

Pink hat - helmet

The hat-helmet is designed for the girl's age of 2 years.

We have to:

 • yarn of mixed composition - wool 20%, acrylic 80%, (50g / 150m) pink - 100g;
 • slightly the same thickness of yarn white color- For decoration;
 • knitting needles No4;
 • hook No4;
 • markers;
 • buttons - 3 pieces;
 • for decoration - beads, glass.

Patterns:

 • gum: 1l.x1i.;
 • persons. smooth surface: in the front rows - front sts, in out. rows - purl;
 • shawl pattern: all sts in all r. - purl.

Description

Cast on 82p. plus 2 edging. We knit a 4 cm elastic band.

Let's move on to faces. stitch and knit 8 cm.

We distribute the loops into three parts: in the central - 26p. the remaining loops - 29 pieces each - in the extreme parts. Markers are placed at the boundaries of the plots.

The further knitting pattern is performed according to the principle of knitting the heel of the sock. We knit loops to the second marker.

We remove the first loop, we knit the rest of the stitches to the marker with purl stitches.

We reach the 2nd marker. We remove the 1st p. of the central part, and we knit the loop of the side part.

We stretch the removed item through the knitted one.

We remove the 1st p., we knit the rest to the marker. satin stitch.

We knit the loop of the central part together with the loop of the side part in 1p.

We turn the canvas over again and continue to work according to this principle until the stitches on the side parts run out.

Hat - helmet has already taken shape:

We raise the loops along the edge edge.

It is correct to do this for the bows of two loops.

The resulting picture - see photo. In total, you need to dial 19p. We fix the edges of the threads.

Cast on 8 sts for button band. We turn over the work. We knit the bar - handkerchief pattern, the rest of the p. - purl.

On this side of the edging, we crochet 19p.

We collect 8p. for the second strap and knit it with a garter pattern. Having knitted three rows, we set markers on the raglan lines. Do not forget in the 2nd p. make holes for the button. Method - see photo.

Lower 2p. close with a hook. Above them we collect new 2p.

Raglan lines

Decide on ragged lines. On the back, they will extend the row of loops obtained by decreasing - in the photo they are marked with yellow markers. Two more lines will be located through 7p. closer to the front. They are marked with blue markers. In the first row of knitting a shirt-front, you can (optionally) evenly decrease 2p on the back.

We make additions in the front rows on both sides of the ragged lines. For the openwork version, we make ordinary crochets. If you make crochets from crossed loops, then there will be no holes. On the wrong side of the yarn, we knit with purl stitches. In principle, you can draw a raglan line in any way that is familiar to you. Our website describes several ways to knit raglan.

Do not forget to do after 6 p. holes for buttons. We knit a shirt-front to a height of 8 cm. Sew on buttons.

Decoration

For a rose, we crochet 31 air stitches (VP).

We knit 6ch. In the 6th VP we knit a double crochet (CCH).

Then 1VP, in the 3rd loop we knit two CCH. Between them -2VP. So we repeat on all points of the row.

2p .: we collect 3VP, in the arch we knit SSN, 2VP, 2SSN, 1VP, etc. on all the loops of the row.

We put into work white thread. For smooth transition We knit the last loop of the CCH in white.

3r .: we collect 3VP, then in the arch 3SN, a fixing column between the arches, in the next three arches in 6SN. Do not forget about the fixing posts between the arches. In the next 2 arches 8 CCH. In all other arches, 10 CCH.

We fold the flower and sew.

We decorate the flower with beads and glass. Sew to the hat.

Hat-helmet knitting. How to tie a hat at the same time as a bib: video for beginners

It is a model without any frills or decor. You should start knitting the product by measuring the girth of the head, selecting wool and knitting needles. For the winter, you need to knit a hat made of warm threads, and wool is considered the warmest. Sheep's wool it can prick, so it is best to take merino or mix woolen threads with acrylic ones. The size of the knitting needles depends on the size of the knitting; circular knitting needles number 3 are suitable for a classic helmet.

If you need to knit a hat-helmet for a boy, you won’t need a pattern, since knitting this hat is quite simple. Such a helmet is knitted according to the “gum” type, that is, every 2 loops the direction changes from front to back, and vice versa. The number of loops is dialed according to the girth of the child's head. So, for example, if the measurements showed 52 cm, you will need 100 more loops, that is, 152. Having typed the right amount, you can start knitting an elastic band in a circle. When the length of the knitting reaches 14 cm, the first 54 loops should be cast off, a cutout will be formed there. Further knitting does not go round, it must be directed forward, and then back.

In this way, it is necessary to knit another 12 cm, after which replenish the loops in the same amount in which they were taken. Then knitting again moves in a circle. When 8 cm passes after dialing, you need to reset the loops, leaving them only 78.

From the remaining amount, 10 equal parts should be formed, after which you can begin to knit the front surface. In this process, every 2nd row must be reduced in the form of one loop. When ten loops remain, they will need to be pulled together with a pair of thread and hidden on the wrong side of the product. For beauty, the neckline of the helmet can be crocheted.

Double hat hat: knitting method

 • The double knit boy's hat is easy to make and the hat is very warm. The inner part is most often knitted from acrylic threads, and the upper part is made from wool. For knitting, you will need circular knitting needles of the 1.5th and 3rd numbers. Begin knitting with purl loops in a small amount, and in each front row add no more than 12 loops. It is necessary to select 5 main loops, next to which new ones will be added. On each side of the main loop, you need to add another 1, and so knit 8 cm.
 • Then the knitting turns into the front surface. It should consist of 52 rows. After that, you can start knitting the area of the ears and the back. Starting from the back seam, 40 loops are knitted on all sides, 60 are required for the forehead. Then a couple of loops are cut on each front row. You need to do this about 6 times. Each stage of adding or reducing loops must be supported by fitting on a child, so as not to miscalculate in size.
 • With the help of one and a half knitting needles, loops for the face are typed. First, a purl row is knitted along the front row, and then several rows with the usual “elastic band”. It will take about 10 rows, but if a double hat is supposed, they do not need to be closed yet.
 • The next step is knitting a shirt-front. In the area of the chin, you need to dial 20 loops from the front area. They need to be connected with the rest of the loops and knit stockinette stitch. In this way, you need to knit to the desired length.
 • Both parts of the hat are knitted in the same way only from different threads. When they are ready, an inner helmet is inserted into the middle and both parts are connected along ragged lines. The essence of the connection is knitting with an "elastic band", when 1 loop is knitted, and the 2nd is removed from the other knitting needle.

A hat-helmet is a beautiful and unusual headdress. It is very warm in it, it does not move out and does not constrain movements. When knitting, the helmet can be decorated with a pattern of contrasting threads or decorated with pompoms. In such a cap, your child will be irresistible, and you will be calm for his comfort and warmth.

Forecasters promise cold winter! Well, you need to get ready ... If you are looking for a warm hat-helmet with a shirt-front for a boy, I think you have found what you need.

Yarn Peter Pan Wendy composition: 55 nylon (polyamide) 45 acrylic. 50 gr - 170 meters.

Recommended needles number 3 1/4 - 4. It took exactly 100 grams (2 skeins) for the helmet. I knitted in 2 threads with knitting needles number 3 very tightly, I was afraid that it would stretch, but I did not take into account that this was not pure acrylic, after washing it almost did not stretch. The helmet turned out to be very tight and hard, barely pulled on. Softer after washing with conditioner. I advise you to knit with needles number 4 and medium density, do not tighten much.

The advice is for this yarn in two additions and the calculation of the loops in the description.

Wonderful master class by Oksana Andrusenko. The boy in this helmet looks like Batman.

We start knitting from the top wedge.

We measure the distance from the tips of the child's eyebrows, multiply by the number of loops in 1 cm plus 2 edge loops.
The hem is obtained one for 2 rows: At the beginning of the row, remove untied, at the end, purl.
If it is difficult to knit a double elastic band, you can replace it with several rows garter stitch and loops to dial in any simple way.
For a helmet with stripes, I cast on 35 loops.

It is this version of the helmet that is connected without ears. If ears are needed, then after 15 cm we continue to knit further (without shortened rows), we knit 6 more rows (3 facial ones with all increases and decreases + 3 purl) and immediately pick up loops from the hem 3 in each row.

If the back of the head is not very pronounced in a child, you can make fewer reductions 4-6. Why the lower wedge is knitted precisely from the line of the lips - the wedge will stretch over the chin, compensate for the missing length and provide a snug fit on the ears and neck.

Explanation for photo No. 15:
For the lower wedge of the last striped helmet, cast on 25 loops, plus 2 edge loops will also go here, it turns out 27 loops for the lower wedge.

When decreasing on an elastic band, you need to take into account the girth of the head, so that it would not be very tight, otherwise the head will not crawl through. In place of the wedge, I do not make any reductions, we use the wedge to pull on the spout in cold weather, for this it should be more free. If this function is not needed, you can make reductions on the wedge, but do not forget about the volume of the head.

The shirt-front can be knitted longer, but then it will take more than 150 grams of yarn.
It was this option that took 100 gr.
