All cut parts are carefully glued to the pumpkin in the right places. By the way, it is not necessary to buy new accessories. Most likely, the necessary things will be found in your apartment. Use, for example, unnecessary glasses. Also, accessories can be cut out of thick paper in different colors.

Unusual Halloween Decoration: Making an Owl from a Pumpkin

You will need:

one medium-sized pumpkin;
scissors;
some felt of different colors;
very good glue.

First, cut out the necessary details from the purchased felt. The shape can be any, but the owl must have a beak, eyes, wings and feathers, as well as ears. Each detail is carefully glued to the pumpkin with high-quality glue. You should start with feathers. It will be much more beautiful if they are multi-colored. Please note that you need to glue the feathers in a checkerboard pattern, starting from the bottom. We complete the work by attaching the remaining “parts” of the owl with glue.

How to decorate a pumpkin with wax crayons?

You will need:

pumpkin white or orange;
several wax crayons of different colors;

a tube of thick PVA glue;

Be sure to cut the crayons into several halves. We remind you: it is desirable to use different colors. Next, we take a thick glue and use it to glue the halves of the crayons to the pumpkin (to its upper part). In total, you should get about fifteen pieces. After the glue has dried, take a hair dryer: it is needed in order for the crayons to melt. Thus, the vegetable will be covered with spots of different colors. And if you are making a craft for the garden, then help your garden kid arrange a thin, wrinkle-free paper napkin on the surface of a pumpkin wet and sticky with glue.

These funny pumpkin and vegetable owls can be made for the exhibition for the school "Autumn Craft with Parents". Owl eyes are made of paper mini cupcake molds. Or from paper coasters from sweets in a box. And if there are no such molds, you can use plastic cups - cut them off low from the bottom and stick them on the glue moment.

Can decorate the eyes of a pumpkin owl with seeds. They are simply glued to plasticine. Or hot glue.

And here is another great and simple pumpkin craft idea - CHEESE AND MICE. Just cut round holes in the pumpkin barrel. And we put toy mice in it. To make the hole round, you can cut it out not by hand, but hollow it out with a hammer (we apply a metal cup or tube to the pumpkin - and knock on the other end with a hammer - the tube cuts into the pumpkin and knocks out a round hole).
