As a rule, this custom is widespread for the New Year and Christmas holidays, for Easter, on March 8, and in the fall it can be done for Halloween or just so that the autumn depression goes away and reigns. good mood.

Autumn decorative wreaths on the door (ideas)

Decorating an autumn wreath with different fruits is a great idea! Any autumn fruits will do - artichokes, apples, pears. Most main question one thing to think about is how to attach these items to the base of the wreath. If the frame of your wreath is made of a dense material (for example, foam plastic) - you can attach it with toothpicks. For these purposes, you can use toothpicks or double-sided tape, a thermal gun.

Autumn wreaths look especially beautiful when they have a lot of all kinds of elements. Create such a multi-layered masterpiece. To do this, make the back layer of small branches, leaves or spikelets. The inner layer can be made from fesalis, acorns and cones. For accents, add a few bright rowan branches and a couple of decorative pumpkins and apples.

Decorative wreaths on the door made from autumn leaves - spectacular decoration. Moreover, it is one of the most simple ways wreath decorations on the door. It looks great as a wreath of the same type of leaves, and a combined version. To make the wreath even more original, add pine cones, chestnuts, acorns, artichokes to the leaves.

The original wreath with pheasant feathers, complemented by nuts, cones, spikelets - a contender for the most interesting wreath in the area. To complete the look, you can attach a satin bow between the bird feathers.

Spikelets of wheat are a symbol of harvest and fertility. Collect a small bouquet of leaves and weave a wreath out of them. You can finish the original wreath with small yellow Canadian maple leaves or a sign "Welcome!".

A wreath of just a few components, decorated with a bow. A similar bow made of satin or velvet will look very nice.

Ripe pumpkins can be used to decorate an autumn wreath on the door, but their main drawback is their fragility. It is much more convenient to use artificial pumpkins, which are lighter and do not deteriorate.

We decorate a wreath

To make an autumn wreath on the door, we need tree branches (or a vine), pieces of brown, gray, deciduous fabric (any autumn shades can be used) / autumn tree leaves, glue, pins, scissors, thread, paper.

In stores for self made you can often find a ready-made basis for decorative wreath.

If you look around and see how generous nature is with gifts, you can understand that you don’t need to buy anything, you just have to not be lazy, come up with an idea and create!

The process of making a wreath for the door is very simple: first, we twist the tree branches into a ring, then we fix the tips of the branches in several places with adhesive tape, wire.

The next step is to decide which door wreath you will make - one-sided or two-sided. In the first version, all decorative elements will be attached both from the “wrong side” and from the front side, no doubt, such a wreath will look more magnificent and more beautiful. In the second version, only the front side is decorated, but given that this wreath will be attached to the door in a vertical position, the “wrong side” will not be visible. For decorating tables, doors, one-sided wreaths are perfect.

When the type of wreath is chosen, you need to make elements for decorating it. It should be remembered that there should be a lot of decor, the remaining elements can be used to make other home decorations. Materials for decorating a wreath should be chosen based on how long you plan to use the wreath. If you want a wreath to decorate the door for a long time, you can cut autumn leaves from multi-colored pieces of fabric. If we are talking about seasonal decor, it will be sufficient to use natural leaves from trees.

So autumn has come, or rather already winter, and autumn has unexpectedly come to the garden.
So you need to prepare for autumn holiday. It was decided to make an autumn wreath and decorate the dress with leaves.
You'll need:
for salt dough- mix flour, salt, add water and knead the dough (1 cup flour, 1/2 cup salt, 1/3 cup water);
acrylic paints, brushes, wrapping paper in my case from flowers.

We knead the dough and roll up the balls-beads of which we will make rowan brushes. I found what is called designer paper similar to a grid (it was left over from a flower bouquet), tore out elastic threads from it at one end, making a knot and strung beads on them.

I painted the beads red.

When they dried, he tied them in bunches, getting bunches of mountain ash.

Now let's start making leaves.
To do this, I again came across a flower wrapper, putting the yellow and red aside,
drew a sketch, alternating different sizes and belonging to trees - oak, birch, mountain ash.

Cut blanks for painting.

I first painted them in different shades. This can be entrusted even to the smallest, and then you will correct it.

Then he circled the leaves.

Sewed rowan leaves to the bunches.

From the same yellow paper we make a ribbon by folding it into a strip and stitching the edge.

We sew Velcro to our rim, well, we made all our leaves on the sides by hanging bunches of mountain ash.

Our mother decorated the dresses with felted wool leaves.

The image has been completed. It was only necessary to find a festive mood.

Black Czechs and purple pants were not included in our plans, but the teachers in a hurry did not take off their pants, turned the wreath upside down, and forgot to turn on the "good mood" button for the child. But the holiday was a success and everyone liked it.

When autumn comes and gives us a colossal variety of colors, we always want to join nature, decorate ourselves with its works. Against the background of yellow-orange leaves, very successful pictures are obtained. And to look even more successful, it is best to use wreaths. Autumn wreaths on the head can be completely different. Here are various options creating wreaths, depending on the purpose of their use.

precious berries

For a reason, women have long adorned themselves with flowers or leaves woven into their hair, especially on holidays. For each occasion, special wreaths were woven, each had its own meaning and at the same time served as an ornament. Before the girls began to wear stones as jewelry, they wove bright berries into their hair - viburnum, mountain ash. Now we rarely think about what the flowers and herbs woven into a wreath mean. Contemporaries wear wreaths mainly for events related to public holidays, or to emphasize the heritage of Slavic traditions.

Autumn wreaths are the brightest, they were usually made for the holidays dedicated to the harvest, so not only flowers and leaves were woven into them, but also fruits and ears of wheat.

Therefore, the preparation for creating an autumn wreath will be different.

For a few shots during a casual walk in the park, it will be enough to weave together stems of bright leaves that you find along the way.

For the performance of choirs or dance groups, in schools or kindergartens, when wreaths should be the same for everyone, it is important to decide what you will make them from - natural or artificial. The most common and affordable material for an autumn wreath is maple leaves. They are bright, voluminous and have a fairly long stem.

For contrast, it is very good to use rowan berries. They are dense, retain their shape and color well.

It is necessary to prepare these materials, as well as prepare the base - a rim on which leaves and berries will be attached. It can be a piece of wire decorated with threads, or old newspapers twisted with tape, wrapped around nylon pantyhose.

Attach the leaves to the base with a strong thread, decorate with clusters of mountain ash. If there is a sufficient amount of other natural decorative material, then it can also be used.

If you are preparing for an autumn holiday, participating in a harvest festival, for example, or in a folk-style wedding, and you need a voluminous bright wreath, you will be helped step by step master class below.

nice gift

  4. Flowers (sunflowers, chrysanthemums, asters, dahlias) natural or artificial;
  5. Glue;
  6. Paraffin, container for it.

Wrap the base with threads or nylon tights to make it easier to attach decorative components to it.

Melt the parffin, dip each leaf and berries into it, as in the photo. Dry. Materials prepared in this way will not break and will take on a more decorative look. Flowers and fruits do not need to be treated like this.

This process is lengthy and may take a couple of hours. If there is no time, you can use artificial leaves and berries.

Attach the prepared materials in order to compose a composition that most advantageously harmonizes with all the prepared materials.

The word "wreath" itself is of Slavic origin, meaning "gift". This beautiful wicker decoration made of natural materials in the shape of a ring is not only a decorative element, but also a talisman for the home.

Where to begin?

Making an original wreath with your own hands is easy. First you need to make a frame. For it, you can use foam, wire, or ordinary wooden branches that bend easily. You just need to give the material round shape. Next, you need to determine what materials will be used for design. For example, wreaths with autumn fruits look quite bright and interesting, which will go well with large golden leaves. But this is just one decor option out of many that exist.

How to do?

Here is one way to create a beautiful fall wreath. It is so light that even a child can make it, but it is better, of course, under your strict guidance.

How to apply?

What about original design wreath, then your imagination should already be used here. But we have selected for you the most interesting and beautiful ways decor.

We offer you 6 simple tips for the decor and design of the autumn amulet:

1. Don't be afraid to use colorful bird feathers

Such a wreath will look very original. You can use pheasant feathers and supplement them with cones, acorns, spikelets and dry twigs. If all the elements are used in moderation, you will get a very unusual and stylish wreath. And to complete the look, we recommend attaching a satin bow.

2. Decorate the wreath with colorful fall leaves

This design option is the most win-win. Although it is quite simple, it is still successful, because bright leaves can effectively decorate interior decor. Especially if you plan to add warm colors to the room or garden. And, of course, the leaves can easily be found on the street or in the park. Try to collect leaves in a variety of shades to create an interesting sunny palette gradient on your wreath. Also, do not forget to add some cones, chestnuts or mountain ash to the composition.

3. Add beautiful spikelets to the composition

Golden spikelets of wheat are a symbol of a rich harvest and fertility. Therefore, it is ideal for a charm that can be hung on the front door of the house. In addition to wheat, field spikelets can also be used. If it seems to you that such a wreath looks too simple, then you can add a bow or ribbon with the words "welcome". Thus, the composition will look cute and welcoming.

4. Use small autumn fruits

Ripe fragrant fruits are ideal for decorating a wreath. For example, small apples with reddish barrels, pears or dried orange slices are most often used. Small and light elements are best attached to the frame of the wreath using a heat gun or double-sided tape. And for attaching larger elements, use wire or toothpicks if the wreath frame is made of soft material.

Bright orange pumpkins always evoke autumn associations. They have also always been the main element of garden or terrace decor. For a wreath, it is best to buy artificial mini pumpkins, as real ones are rather short-lived. Decorative pumpkins weigh much less, and in appearance they do not differ at all from genuine ones.

6. Add a beautiful big bow to the wreath

If your autumn wreath has only a few basic elements, then a large chic bow will definitely not interfere with it. It is best to use warm-colored velvet fabric or natural linen.
