DIY constellation layout. starry sky

Elena Nikitina

Children are by nature very inquisitive people. They are interested in everything, they know the world and ask a lot of questions.

One of these topics that is very interesting for children is space. Space is a mysterious world stars, planets, and other objects. Children from childhood see that the day is replaced by night. Shines in the sky during the day Sun and the moon at night. And the sky is full of stars.

Together with the children of our group, we decided that in our small but cozy group room there would be enough space for starry sky, and for planets. Creating your own Solar system - a huge job, but at the same time such an exciting and entertaining event, not only for educators, but also for children, that we simply could not refuse it. We started preparing in the summer.

Equipment and materials: 3 meters of lining fabric, 2 meters of foil paper, pushpins, balloons, balls, wallpaper paste, newspapers, napkins, threads, paints, acrylic varnish.

1. starry sky.

Making a starry sky did not cause problems for the children. This was preceded by a preliminary Job: conversations were held about space, the sky, stars, planets; examined paintings and illustrations; drew comets and the milky way, watched the sky and stars.

Progress:

1. The guys cut out stars from foil paper;

2. Spread the fabric on the floor;

3. Pinned stars on fabric.

2. solar system.

It all started with the selection of suitable size balls or balloons. We did not select absolutely exact proportions to match the sizes. planets, otherwise it would have turned out to be very voluminous balls.

Children puffed up Balloons and prepared the balls.

Balls from children's toys, put and tied in a plastic bag. The balloons were inflated and tied well, so that in the process manufacturing they didn't start to deflate!

Glue the balls.

We used newspapers paper napkins and white paper. Glued with wallpaper paste. All paper must be torn, not cut.

Soak the strips of newspaper in the prepared glue. We covered the balloons with three layers of paper. Before laying the next layer, the previous one was allowed to dry.

In summer, the glue dries very quickly at an open window.

The next step is to get balls and balls. We used a clerical knife and carefully cut the blanks into two halves without damaging the balls. At the same time, the balls were simply taken out, puncturing them.

Painting

The guys painted with gouache paints. They are easy to lay down, but washed off with water. We attach threads to the surface of the balls, which are useful for attaching to the ceiling. Before applying the next layer of paint, it is important to wait for the final drying of the previous one.

The starry sky is ready, planets of the solar system too ... Now the most important thing! We fix the canvas with stars, constellations, comets, etc. on the ceiling. planets take their place in heaven... The starry sky and the planets of the solar system are ready to be explored.

Dear Colleagues, I hope you enjoyed our Starry sky and planets of the solar systems!

A SPACE ROOM was created in our kindergarten. Each group presented material on a space theme. The guys and I decided.

Hello dear colleagues! I want to show you my layout "Planets of the solar system". After all, soon April 12 is the day of Cosmonautics, and the topic.

On the eve of Cosmonautics Day, I made an informative visual aid to replenish the materials of the developing environment in kindergarten.

I want to bring to your attention the model of the "Planet of the Solar System" with my own hands. Space is very big. In addition to our Earth, there are others.

In order, all the planets will be named by any of us. One is Mercury, two is Venus, three is Earth, four is Mars. Five is Jupiter, six is Saturn, seven.

We take a medium-sized hoop and wrap it with insulating tape. We cover it with a cloth of the appropriate color. We make paper balls.

Age: from 3 years old, difficulty: easy.

Before work, it is desirable to show the child in books, on the computer the sky itself, stars, planets, rockets.

Stage 1

First we need a sheet of A3 paper, 3 circles different sizes(pre-cut by mom) and all the pencils and felt-tip pens available in the house.

We lay out the circles on paper and start tracing. when circled - we begin to color - we did it like this. These are our planets - we have them both large and small, but the colors - at your discretion - these are magic planets.

Stage 2

We remove pencils and felt-tip pens, and we take out black and white gouache, two brushes (one for mother and one for child, take not the thickest brushes, we took No. 3), as well as one sponge for dishes and cut it in half (half for mother and half for baby ).
Now we hide our planets, under the circles and glue it with adhesive tape (with electrical tape, and with anything in two places)
we put a little black gouache in the palette (we put it right into the lid from under the gouache), we drop a small drop of water and the funniest “bang” begins (as my Nastya calls it). Sponge in gouache and "jump" with a sponge on a sheet, and of course we voice it funny (we had it - bang-bang, chmyak-chmyak, jump-jump and even qua-qua).

Stage 3

Well, they painted it, remove the black gouache and take out the white one. We add some water directly into the jar (the paint should be liquid), dip the brush, take it by the tip with one hand and hit the finger of the other hand - we get stars, both small and large - like this.

Stage 4 - decoration
So, the most favorite stage begins, we take sparkles and decorate - we make the stars shiny, although we poke glitters just like that, anywhere. (you can also use a gel with sparkles, or you can use it in jars - but then you will need cotton swabs).
We have some glitter here.

Well, before our magical planets gotta get there somehow. We make a rocket. We had the usual coloring from the Internet. Natsia painted it, cut it out and glued it. and now our work is ready.

Good luck with your work with kids!

Absolutely any toys and objects can be created from plasticine, but objects for copying can be fundamentally different, carry a learning aspect. For example, we have already learned how to sculpt molecules. And in this lesson, we suggest you master the technique of modeling constellations. The space theme is unknown today, and therefore it is interesting for both boys and girls. If you visited a planetarium with your child, then he knows some ideas about the constellations. Also these interesting information you can tell just by looking at the night sky, because it is so beautiful, strewn with stars.

Here we will show you the sculpting process using the example of two constellations of the 12 zodiac signs. But, of course, you can do any of them, focusing on your sign. And an image with the correct arrangement of stars will be quite easy to find on the Internet.

Modeling materials:

  • yellow plasticine;
  • stack
  • blue, blue or black cardboard.

1. The cardboard will act as the basis for creating the applique. The stack will allow you to divide the plasticine into parts, as well as cut out the rays of the stars. Yellow plasticine can be replaced with orange.

2. Having chosen the constellation you are interested in, determine the number of stars in it, as well as the number of connecting lines. Roll all portions into balls.

3. To create stars, first press the balls with your fingers to the board until they form cakes. Turn the second portion into a thread tonic.

4. Cut out a five-pointed star with a stack.

6. Start attaching the stars and connections to the cardboard, pressing down on the details from above with your fingers.

7. Create a figure of the desired shape.

8. If the child is still small or the plasticine is too soft for the star to hold its shape, just make notches on the cakes in a circle.

9. Similarly, you can create a constellation of scales.

Here are such interesting astronomy lessons that you should definitely practice with your children, because this great way expand their horizons.

Good afternoon, today I am publishing an article in which I have collected the most different ways make Christmas stars with your own hands. We will make stars paper, cardboard, sew stars from felt, crochet them. You will see simple christmas crafts accessible to children, and complex structures in the shape of a star.

Here are some of the ideas I gathered today in one common pile:

  • Stars from strips of paper using quilling technique.
  • The stars are transparent with stained glass film.
  • Stars are three-dimensional in 3d technique.
  • Christmas star window stickers.
  • Christmas garlands with stars.
  • Six-pointed stars with convex edges.
  • Stars from cardboard modules.
  • New Year's stars from the newspaper.

So, let's start our New Year's star crafts.

Craft Idea #1

paper star

in the quilling technique.

Here is the first idea - a New Year's star from strips of paper, twisted and glued in quilling technique.

Even if you are not yet familiar with the technique of twisting from paper strips then you just need take a close look in the photo below to understand how this paper star is made.

First, from paper strips, we collect separately five rays– and then glue them together.

Here in the photo below, I even highlighted each detail of the paper strips separately - in different colors.

Each ray of a star is made up of three short oval twists of paper strips - light green lines. One twist is longer - orange line. AND one paper tape , which wraps all these twists together - in the form of a single frame - the pink line in the photo below.

You yourself will rejoice at how quickly your homemade New Year's star made of paper turned out. You can make several of these and hang them on Christmas tree as a decoration.

And according to a very similar principle, we can create such stars. This is also essentially QUILLING. But here the forms are no longer so smooth and rounded, but more clear and faceted. But the principle is the same.

If you look closely at the photo below, you will see that each of the rays of the star is 2 triangles glued together its longest of three sides.

That is, cutting 10 identical strips of paper. From each we make a paper triangle. All ten triangles are divided into pairs. And we glue each pair with each other with a long side. We get five rays future paper star. We glue the rays together. Close the center of the gluing with an asterisk. With a hole punch we make a hole in the upper beam in order to hang it on a Christmas tree by a thread.

Craft Idea #2

new year star

FROM ROLLS from toilet paper

And here is the next DIY star idea similar to the previous technique the fact that here, too, round paper loops are glued together. Only the loops here are not glued from paper strips, but are roll cuts from toilet paper - and a transparent colored film (food wrap, or colored tape) is stretched over each section.

.

We need a roll of paper towels or toilet paper. And we will also need multi-colored transparent pieces of film to wrap around our paper blanks for the star.

Where can I get transparent color film for this Christmas star craft.

Option 1 - food color polyethylene.

Option 2 - colored transparent candy wrappers.

Option 3 - colored transparent packaging from bouquets, or gift wrapping in stores with a gift wrapping department.

Option 4 - colored wide adhesive tape - is sold in hardware or finishing stores.

Option 5 - a transparent finishing film from a hardware store. It is sold in such large rolls as wallpaper - but they can be bought in any pieces - at least 1 meter, at least 10 cm - cut off from the roll and sold. But first you need to make sure that this film, in isolation from the paper base, gives a transparent color - that is, it transmits light. Check directly in the store - peel off the corner of the film from the paper base directly on the roll and check it for transparency.

How we will make New Year's transparent stars.

We cut the paper roll into identical parts-rings - and from these parts we bend ray shapes And middle-pentagon for our future star.

To fold the pentagonal middle - you need measure the circumference of the roll and divide it into 5 equal parts. And bend in the places marked with a pencil.

And now for every ray of our star we must bend BASE, which in length will coincide with the length of the side of the pentagonal center. To do this, bend the roll along the edge and measure with a ruler half the length of the side of the pentagonal center stars.

By the same principle, we wrap the remaining rays of a cardboard star in a film (or colored tape).

And now our task is to glue all parts of the asterisk into one - connect the rays with the middle.

The easiest way is with a piece of double-sided tape. Scotch tape with sticky edges on both sides.

Or you can spread it with PVA glue and dry it pressed down - we squeeze it with clothespins

And when assembled, such an asterisk is hung by the window - so that it transmits light and looks like New Year's craft from glass.

By the way.

If you have a glass cutter and multi-colored pieces of glass left over from old interior doors, then you can do real glass Christmas stars.

Craft Idea #3

new year star

in the BEER technique.

Here in the photo below we see a six-pointed star made of paper. Even a child in a circle of children's creativity can make it. You do not need to draw anything with a compass, build complex calculations. All you need is 1 square piece of paper folded like a fan. And another square of newsprint (smaller).

A Master Class for making such a New Year's star with your own hands looks like this. We fold the square sheet like a fan so to get six sides- that is, three folds of the fan only (as in the photo below).

Can sheet immediately measure in width and divide this figure into 6 equal parts. And mark these parts with a pencil and make bends-folds according to these marks - then we will get a fan of six identical harmonica blades.

And if you make patterned cuts in such a star (as in a snowflake), you get a patterned New Year's star made of paper - with a beautiful openwork pattern on their beams.

That is, the fan itself (still folded) is supplemented with slots. And then we sew the middle of the fan with a bracket, fold it in half, unfold it in a circle and glue the blades of the halves that meet.

Craft Idea #4

new year star

from twisted triangles.

Here we see a seven-pointed paper star. Because of the abundance of rays, it looks more like a snowflake. But if you change the shape of the triangle to a more elongated one, you can get a design with five rays. We lay each such tube on a paper round base smeared with glue.

Craft Idea #5

paper stars

In the form of a garland.

The paper star is often used as an element Christmas garland. Here I propose to consider three ways to make such a star garland for the New Year.

Option number 1. Here is the easiest and fastest way to thread stars onto a string. You need a sewing machine and silhouettes of stars cut out of cardboard.

We refuel in sewing machine thread, put a star under the foot of the machine and drive the machine line through the star. Moreover, when the line reaches the edge of the star, we do not stop the machine, but we scribble further to get a long thread twisted into a line. After a few centimeters of such an empty line-chain, we again put a star out of cardboard.

Option number 2. You can make a garland of bulk stars points. They are made according to the principle of krizhka - several silhouettes of a star made of paper are superimposed on each other and fastened with a common machine seam. Or you can first paperclip these multi-layered stars.

For a garland of paper stars, it is not at all necessary to buy colored paper. You can use the pages of old books or a musical staff.

Option number 3.

And you can make a garland of three-dimensional stars with smooth edges. If you make holes in such paper stars with a hole punch, then you can stretch the thread through them - and we will get a starry New Year's garland.

Here is an understandable master class that clearly shows how to make such a three-dimensional 3D cardboard star with your own hands. As we can see, with a sharp stick under the ruler, we iron the arrows of the star. And then the ironed lines will already be easily bent into the convex folds we need. And we will get a star with faceted rays.

Those lines that lead from the center to the tip of the beam are bent outward. And the lines that lead from the center to the interbeam point are bent inward.

Craft Idea #6

new year star

with smooth edges.

And below is another easy way to make a paper star. Here you need a template (the drawing of the star itself) and a ruler with which we will smooth out equal folds of each face of such a star.

Look at the picture and you will see that this is a simple flat six-pointed star. It was cut from a flat sheet of paper. And then each face was bent - in sequence, we bend one face outward, and bend the next face inward.

To draw a six-pointed star on paper yourself, you can use ruler or compass. First, we measure the distance from the middle of the circle to its edge (that is, we find out the radius of the circle). And then we measure this radius around the entire circumference with a ruler or compass. Only six of these radii fit. along the entire circle. These marks will be the points of the rays of our star with six rays.

Or you can use the ready-made stencil in the picture below. You can trace it directly from your computer screen, just put a sheet of paper on a glowing screen - the star will shine through the paper - and trace the contours (or just the points of the corners) with light pencil lines. And then remove the sheet from the screen and circle everything with a bold line.

If you want to increase or decrease the size pictures on the screen, this can be done with the buttons of your computer.

Press the button with your left hand ctrl on your keyboard (it's on the bottom row on the left) - and while the button is pressed, you right hand spin the mouse wheel Forward to increase, back to decrease. And the size of all pictures on the screen changes increasing or decreasing.

Craft Idea #7

new year star

From paper modules.

And here is a star made of paper, which is folded by connecting individual paper modules together. How exactly to fold such a star out of paper is shown in detail in the diagram below.

Such New Year's paper stars can be made as an independent decoration for the Christmas tree. How decorative star for registration new year holiday. Or such paper stars can be dotted with a ring for a Christmas wreath.

Craft Idea #8

new year star

From cardboard.

And here simple craft volumetric Christmas star made from cardboard. Here (as you see in the photo) you need to cut out two identical silhouettes of a five-pointed star from cardboard.

After in each make a cardboard star cut with scissors - in a straight line, leading from the lower interbeam to the upper vertex of the beam - but do not cut to the end, and stop at the central point of the star.

When we we put one slot on the slot of the second star made of cardboard- we get a cruciform connection of two strips (perpendicular to each other). As a result, it turns out 3D star.

And here is an option when 2 stars, also cut out of thick cardboard, do not sit on top of each other - but simply lie on top of each other so that the rays of the upper star are located between the rays of the lower star. If you make openwork holes-slots in such a cardboard star with a blade, then the star will look more elegant. And gold sprinkles will make such a New Year's star quite festive.

Craft Idea #9

Cardboard stars

DOUBLE-SIDED.

Method 1 - four-beam blank

You can make a star with four rays out of paper - then make the same second one, and connect them together.

Here detailed master class with a description of how to make 2 blanks with your own hands and connect them together into one star.

Method 1 - three-beam blank.

And these voluminous paper stars are also made from two modules, glued one to meet the other. Only here the module is not of four beams, but of three.

In a flat form, this module has such a triangular shape with serif-fasteners on all three sides.

We bend the module along the longitudinal line of each of the three corners of the triangle. The faceted modules are put on each other with notches-serifs. And it turns out bulk star with six rays.

Craft Idea #10

paper stars

In ORIGAMI technique

You can make an origami star. That is, from an ordinary square sheet of paper WITHOUT USING SCISSORS. This is what distinguishes the fashionable Japanese origami technique - the art of turning a square plane into a figure of any complexity.

Here such a star is also obtained from one square sheet of paper. But the process looks rather complicated. But as soon as you understand it, how do you understand the speed and ease with which these stars appear. And having made 4 such stars, you acquire high-speed automatism and can add the stars almost blindly.

And here is another star in the origami technique. Where a paper module is obtained from a square sheet. And from such modules-rays we fold a solid star out of paper.

Craft Idea #11

new year stars

Transparent for windows.

You can make a star out of paper to stick it on the window. These stars look very elegant. And this is an alternative to the classic paper snowflakes, which we all used to glue on the windows during the Christmas holidays.

Such a New Year's star is made of paper is quite simple. A strip of paper is folded in half. Its tips are bent to give a pointed shape. We attach the resulting module to a round base sheet. Or we immediately attach it to the window - to an imaginary circle.

Depending on the shape of the folds we made to sharpen our rectangle, we will end up with different shapes of the star's rays. Thus, having shown an EXPERIMENTAL hitch, we will be able to create more and more author's New Year's stars on the window.

Craft idea No. 12

new year stars

from a rolled up newspaper.

And here is another star made of paper - or rather, from a sheet of newspaper. Here a thin twist is made from a spread of the newspaper. Can be placed inside a newspaper roll copper wire- so the bent frame of the star will be given additional rigidity.

After that, the star blank from the newspaper can be decorated. Paint with paint, wrap with threads, coat with glue and cover with sparkles. Or something else according to your imagination.

These are the ideas I have collected for you in this article. Now you know a lot of ways to make a star out of paper with your mind and with your own hands.

In order to study the structure of the planets and plunge headlong into the mysterious world of astronomy, it is not necessary to go to the planetarium. It is not at all difficult to make a model of a solar system at home. To do this, you just need to be patient and all necessary materials. At the same time, it will take the minimum time and cost to complete the work.

DIY solar system layout for school: what materials can be used

It is not difficult to make a model of the solar system on your own.. This craft may seem incredibly complicated only at first glance. In fact, everything is insanely simple. It is only necessary to decide what materials will be used in the work. Most often, work is performed using such materials:

  • plasticine;
  • Styrofoam;
  • cotton wool;
  • newspapers;
  • cardboard;
  • colored paper;
  • CDs.

This list can be continued for a long time. After all, the limit creative imagination does not exist. It is enough just to imagine how exactly the craft should look like in the end, and it will immediately become clear what materials will be required.

Model of the solar system from plasticine on cardboard

To create a three-dimensional model that clearly demonstrates the structure of the solar system, you just need to arm yourself with plasticine, cardboard and felt-tip pens. When everything you need is at hand, you can start the creative process. The application will not take much time, and fashioning such a theme will please both an adult and a child.

Work from plasticine can also be done on cardboard

Progress:

  1. Roll up plasticine balls, choosing the appropriate colors for all the planets.
  2. Attach rays to the sun, cutting off small segments from the tube.
  3. On a cardboard sheet, draw orbits with a felt-tip pen and sign the places where all the balls will be placed in the future.
  4. Put each planet in its place.

Layout of the universe for children with their own hands

You can also assemble a visual layout from foam balls. This process, although painstaking, is simple and fascinating. Such work can be done with children. Thanks to this, they will surely remember what each of the planets looks like.

What is necessary:

  • foam balls of different diameters;
  • foam sheet;
  • paints;
  • wood rod;
  • thread or fishing line;
  • glue;
  • hook;
  • scissors;
  • a couple of cans;
  • tea spoon;
  • wooden sticks;
  • plastic cups;
  • tassel.

Progress:

  1. Insert a wooden stick into each foam ball.
  2. Cut out the rings of Saturn from a piece of Styrofoam.
  3. Smooth the edges of the cut ring with a teaspoon.
  4. Holding the balls by the stick, paint each of them in the desired color.
  5. Wait until the paint dries and then start assembling the layout.
  6. Assemble Saturn and coat its rings with glue.
  7. Threads cut into pieces different lengths and attach them to each ball.
  8. The sticks from the planets now need to be removed.
  9. Tie the other end of each of the threads to the rod.

Fix the hook in the wall and hang the layout on it.

How to make the sun

To make a model of the sun, you will need not quite ordinary materials. It will be made using the papier-mâché technique. The craft is voluminous and incredibly beautiful. For those who have already done work in this technique, the creation of the Sun will be an incredibly easy task.

What is necessary:

  • Balloon;
  • old newspapers;
  • cardboard;
  • paper;
  • water;
  • starch;
  • paints;
  • primer;
  • tassel;
  • sponge;
  • scissors;

Progress:

  1. Blow up a balloon.
  2. Mix water with starch to prepare a paste.
  3. Newspapers cut into strips of arbitrary length and width.
  4. Dip each strip into the paste and glue to balloon. There should be at least three newspaper layers in total.
  5. The holes near the tail of the ball must be left open.
  6. After forming each layer, allow a little time for the workpiece to dry.
  7. After the paste has already set well, and the workpiece itself has dried, the ball must be carefully pierced with a needle not far from the tail.
  8. Slowly release the air from the ball, and immediately seal the hole that has formed with paper.
  9. Cover the future Sun with a primer so that the surface is absolutely even.
  10. Allow material to dry.
  11. Apply paint to the resulting ball. There should be several layers.
  12. Give the desired texture with a sponge.

After the paint has dried, additionally cover the product with varnish. This will give it an attractive glossy look.

DIY planet Mars

Such a layout can not only decorate a children's room, but also take pride of place at a school exhibition. Its manufacture, although simple, nevertheless has its own characteristics. Only if all the rules are followed will it be possible to create such an unusual design.

What is necessary:

  • glue;
  • globe;
  • putty;
  • paper;
  • paints;
  • brushes.

Only if all the rules are followed will it be possible to create such an unusual design.

Progress:

  1. Remove the globe from the stand and remove the map pasted on it.
  2. Prepare paper stock. To do this, tear sheets of paper, soak them in water and then mix the scraps with glue and putty.
  3. Apply the prepared paper mass to the entire surface of the former globe.
  4. During the day, do not touch the workpiece so that it dries completely.
  5. Form craters.
  6. Apply a base coat of paint to the workpiece.
  7. After the paint has dried, apply another layer to the product.
  8. Highlight the craters again.
  9. Coat Mars with varnish, at least two layers.

Model of the solar system: crafts in kindergarten (video)

Creating a model of the solar system is one of the most exciting and informative creative processes. There are many variations of such crafts, but you should not immediately dwell on the simplest ones. After all, if you give the work a little more time and effort, then the result of the work will be much better. And the pleasure from the process of creating this design will be maximum. It is impossible to even imagine what could be more interesting than creating your own universe.
