But crafts made from this material are not only magnificent, but also practical - the reveler does not wrinkle, is not afraid of dust and will easily endure a walk in the rain. Plastic suede was used to make this headband - a master class with step by step photos will help you become the owner of amazing beauty! A blue rose with a diameter of 11 cm and two buds are made of foamiran.

What materials are needed for decoration

  • bezel base;
  • blue thin ribbon;
  • glue "Moment" transparent;
  • scissors;
  • plastic suede in green and blue tones;
  • blue acrylic paint;
  • a piece of foam rubber;
  • lighter;
  • floral wire;
  • foil;
  • glue gun;
  • yellow stamens;
  • artificial green rose leaves.

All materials are sold in specialized stores. If you don’t know anything about plastic suede, we recommend that you first look at the one dedicated to this type of needlework.

You can take any bezel - the most inexpensive and nondescript. It can be metal or plastic.

Instructions for forming flowers and assembling the rim

Now you can start creating crafts from plastic suede with your own hands. Wrap the bezel thin ribbon blue color, fixing the tape after several turns with glue. Carefully finish the edges of the base.

To make flowers from plastic suede with your own hands, you must first draw patterns. Petals will be four sizes in the form of a droplet. In two large petals along the upper edge, you need to make a wavy cut. Petal diameters are 4, 5, 6 and 6.5 cm.

Now take the blue plastic suede and cut out the blanks of two small petals of 10 pieces according to the patterns. Petals with a diameter of 6 cm will need 7, and the largest should be 6 pieces. Additionally, for two buds, prepare 10 blanks of the smallest size.

Next, move on to the coloring step. Take blue acrylic paint and a small piece of foam rubber. Apply paint only along the edge of the petals on both sides. This will make the flower as lifelike as possible.

In this way, tint all the cut out petals.

To soften the structure of the material, scroll through the blanks. Fold the rose petals from plastic suede vertically into an accordion and scroll with your fingers, and then simply straighten.

After that, proceed to the heat treatment of the petals. Heat the wide edge of the workpiece with a lighter and form a downward bend with your fingers.

Then heat the middle of the petal and also make a recess down with your fingers.

Give all blanks of a blue rose from plastic suede this shape. The larger the petal, the more voluminous the middle should be.

Now proceed to the assembly of roses from foamiran. This will require a wire 10 cm long. Attach a piece of foil to the wire, then form a droplet with a diameter of 3 cm from it. This will be the base of the rose. To make a plastic suede flower, take 10 4 cm petals.

Lubricate the first two petals completely glue gun and arrange on the foil from different sides. Press firmly against the base and at the top to each other, close the foil.

Place the remaining 8 blanks in a circle, lubricating most of the petal with glue. The first row should be tight to the base.

Divide the next blank of a rose made of plastic suede with a diameter of 5 cm into two rows of 5 petals. Arrange them also in a circle, but grease with glue only from the bottom to the middle.

Go for larger petal sizes. Fasten seven 6 cm blanks on the flower in a circle, lubricating only a little the lower part.

Glue the remaining 6 large petals as well, capturing only the bottom of the workpiece. A fluffy rose made of plastic suede is created with your own hands! If desired, it can be used as an independent decoration, decor for a bag or clothes.

It remains to make two more buds. For them, form the same two bases of wire and foil.

Repeat gluing with small petals of 5 blanks.

Now we have to work with green plastic suede. Prepare 10 strips, 1 cm wide and 8 cm long.

Then, from each strip, prepare two sharp triangles, making an angled cut in the middle of the workpiece.

Use scissors to additionally make cloves along one of the wide sides.

It remains to process them with the help of twisting. Just put 3 pieces together and scroll along the length with your fingers.

Then glue the leaves to the bottom of the buds, 5 pieces each, forming sepals. Decorate the ugly wire with any thin green ribbon. You can also glue 4 green blanks on the rose itself. In the end it will finished flower and two buds.

Glue one leaf at a time to the buds.

And start assembling on the rim. Glue the first bud just below the middle of the rim. Coat with glue along the entire length of the wire.

Place the second bud below the rim at the first leaf of the first and attach well with glue. Additionally, you can fix any stamen.

You need to make 4 more decorations. Take a few stamens and attach them like a bag of leaves. And glue the decor between the buds.

Glue the rose to the headband.

In conclusion, fasten more stamens with a leaf to the rim on both sides of the rose and in front of the first bud. At your discretion, add thin green blanks and leaves to the composition. Lastly, glue leaves on the bottom of the rim to close all connections.

Here is such a beautiful headband with a rose made of plastic suede with your own hands that you can make in one evening, having received a lot of pleasure and positive emotions.

A master class for creating plastic suede crafts was prepared specifically for the Women's Hobbies online magazine. We have many more interesting ideas And useful instructions. Look in to find out for yourself interesting technique needlework.

Foamiran (FoamIran) is a soft sheet material in a palette of 20 or 24 colors (depending on the manufacturer), used in various types needlework. The average sheet thickness is 1 mm. Foamiran is mainly of Chinese and Iranian production. Iranian is considered to be of better quality, because. it was in Iran that the technique of making flowers from this amazing material was born. Foamiran can be painted and tinted with paints, patinas, powders.
It is easy to shape foamiran with the help of light heating (for example, applying it to an iron or curling iron), twisting, stretching, processing with modeling tools, etc. After deformation, foamiran firmly retains its shape. That is why it is widely used for making topiary, flowers, jewelry (brooches, hairpins, rubber bands, headbands), dolls, decorative items for scrapbooking. Also, foamiran products are used to decorate various premises (apartments, wedding and banquet halls etc.). Flower brooches made of plastic suede do not wrinkle under outerwear, and this is a very valuable quality. Foamiran is an innovative material with endless potential for creativity, it is soft and silky to the touch. Its main feature is its ability to stretch a little (up to 10%). This stretching is enough for the material to accept and "remember" new form.This material is especially well formed when exposed to the heat of human hands (it does not get dirty or sticky). You can safely squeeze and twist the plastic suede, slightly stretching it. The material will easily take a new shape. However, excessive tension will lead to foamiran rupture. The elasticity and relative strength of the material are due to the fact that foamiran contains ethylene and vinyl acetate. Plastic suede with a sheet thickness of about 1 mm is easily cut with scissors and cut out with curly composters, as well as special punching machines. Only specialized types of glue are suitable for working with plastic suede with strong fixation or glue gun. Foamiran has a slightly pronounced porous structure, but at the same time has low water absorption. It is easy to clean, resistant to atmospheric influences and chemicals, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. At the moment, the material is being certified for the possibility of its use in children's creativity. You can also meet it under the names: "Fom Eva", "Foamiran", "Foam" or "Foam".

How to choose foamiran?

Most often, foamiran is found in Iranian or Chinese production. Iranian EVA foam softer to the touch, thinner, with an uneven surface from 0.7 to 1.2 mm. The palette contains 22 colors of natural shades. It is ideal for creating realistic colors. Chinese foam is much denser and rougher, with a uniform surface. Colors in the palette of 25 different shades. It is used in scrapbooking, to create dolls, jewelry and accessories.

Flowers from foamiran: simple and understandable MK.

Artificial flowers have filled almost everything today. This is an interior decor, and a chic accessory for clothes, and a hair ornament, and author's jewelry. How many masters, so many different types and techniques. The most elegant are flowers from foamiran.

Foamiran appeared with us not so long ago, but it has gained just crazy popularity due to the variety of colors and shades, easily giving in to the structure and realistic products that result. The common name comes from the Iranian factory of the same name that produces this delightful material. The company saw a great opportunity for handicrafts in foam material, which can be used to create intricate sculptures, flowers, toys and so on without any difficulties.

How to make small flowers from foamiran with your own hands: patterns

Wreaths and headbands, hairpins and pins, as well as interior decor are simply impossible to imagine without these realistic small flowers. They are easy to make, look great, and are easy to maintain and durable. We offer an elementary master class for beginners, as a result of which we will create a delightful bouquet of violets.

We will need:

  • Two leaves of foamiran purple and green
  • toothpicks
  • Wire
  • Beads yellow shade for cores
  • Hot glue
  • Pot and plaster, if you "plant"

So let's get started

  • Cut out a flower template from cardboard

  • We put a template on the foamiran and circle it with a toothpick. We strongly do not recommend drawing with a pen, as traces will remain on the finished product
  • Cut out the flowers

  • We cut a wire 20 cm long. We string 3 beads on each of them in the middle and twist them as in the photo

  • From the green foamiran we cut out the leaves in the same way as the flowers. We draw one leaf on the cardboard as in the photo, cut it out and transfer it to the material with a toothpick. Please note: the leaves should be smaller than the flowers
  • We heat the flowers a little and give them a shape
  • In the middle we make holes with an awl or a toothpick
  • Stringing on wire

  • We repeat the same with the leaves and string the same on the wire
  • We drip glue between the flower and the leaf and press it against each other. The hot glue will also give the flower some life.
  • If desired, we wrap the wire with teip tape, but if we “sit down” the teip tape is not required
  • Green material we still need a little more. We cut out leaves from it, draw veins with a toothpick and attach it to the wire

  • We plant gypsum in a pot and plant our violets. But we fix the need with toothpicks so that the bouquet freezes evenly and beautifully

How to make an orchid bud from foamiran for beginners, patterns?

The most delicate flower takes root far from everyone, but you really want to. What can we say about accessories with this magnificence.

We will need:

  • Foamiran white, purple, green
  • Black beads with a diagonal of not more than 5 mm
  • Wire
  • Foil
  • floral wire
  • Candle, awl, scissors, toothpick
  • Hot glue

Master Class:

  • An orchid consists of a core and 5 petals. Trace the template and cut it out. At will, we increase or decrease the size of each part, but always symmetrically

  • We circle the middle template in such a way that the thin part joins in another exactly the same thin part. Cutting them out, we leave them connected, that is, double

  • As in the previous one, the master class outlines the contour of the material with a toothpick, optionally with an awl

  • We warm the material with our fingers a little and stretch it a little. We do this carefully so as not to damage the integrity of the material.

  • Stretching and calling a slightly convex shape, go to the edges. We stretch them so that they become a little wavy, like living petals.

  • Petal is ready for assembly. Let's move on to the next one. Especially carefully go through thin places

  • We cut the wire 17 cm long. We string it on each bead and twist the ends as in the photo

  • We take the core. With an awl in the upper part of the part we make a hole (as in the photo) and string it on the wire

  • We light a candle. Above it, at a height of approximately 20 cm, we hold the workpiece. As soon as it starts to curl - remove

  • We make holes on the petals with an awl and string them as in the photo

  • We also fasten the triple part ourselves

  • Use a purple ballpoint pen to draw veins on the double petals. From the middle to the edges like a fan (again, look like in the photo)

  • We drip hot glue on the wire and wrap it with foil on top. Drop shape about 10 mm long

  • Green foamiran is cut into leaves-drops 15 mm long and 10 mm wide. We warm up a little over the candle and form the volume. Sticking on foil

  • The parts are ready, let's start putting them together. We wind a green bud on the floristic wire, wrap the tip of the wire as in the photo. The tip of the bud should rest against the tip of the wire

  • Stepping back from the 60 mm bud, we also attach the flower. But here the flower does not rest against the wire, but on the contrary, it hangs at a distance of 15 mm

  • We also wind two more flowers

  • Wrap the wire with teip tape

  • Attach the ends with hot glue. We put / lay down a branch of orchids and enjoy the beauty

We have prepared simple and interesting templates that will help in making beautiful flowers.

Flowers from foamiran, peony: master class

A large, beautiful bud is simply recognized for a feminine, gentle image. It is often discarded, as the work seems voluminous, and if you look at other master classes, it is overly complicated. We are looking for rationality, speed and simplicity. That is what we will show in this MC.

Nome will need:

  • Thin (0.5-1 mm) foamiran pink, dark pink and white color
  • Floral wire no more than 0.8 mm thick
  • Wooden bead with a diameter of 15 mm
  • Superglue (hot will give too thick a layer)
  • Depending on where the flower is intended, the bezel, hairpin, base for the brooch
  • Scissors, wire cutters, hot glue

Master Class

  • We cut strips of 4-6 cm. In our case, we used 2 identical pink pieces and 1 white. But for a more realistic bud, it is still desirable to take three tones.

  • Draw patterns on cardboard and cut out. The first few petals can be traced from the template to the material with a toothpick, and then by eye. Because each petal can be unique

  • We cut out about 70 pieces to get started. The narrowest with dark pink (core) those that are thicker are pink, the widest are white

  • If you initially cut out segments of the same width, then it will not be difficult for you to cut the correct petals even by eye. Only the exact length is important, the width may vary slightly. Each subsequent petal is in contact with the previous one on the canvas. See as in the photo

  • From the second color (lighter) cut out wider. I recommend cutting the wavy edge arbitrarily, without using a template. So the flower will turn out more realistic

  • Each time you cut a petal, turn the piece over to save material.

  • The next piece is white and the petals are the widest

  • Please note that there are very few leftovers.

  • We heat the iron, bring the petal and let it warm up a little. We make sure that it does not overheat, as you risk reducing it in size several times, making it hard and not elastic

  • We fold the heated element with an accordion and roll it between our fingers. Stretch the material a little, but not much.

  • Open the petal by straightening the edges several times. The edges have become "fibrous" and more delicate

  • Press in the middle, slightly arching the petal around the edges. It turns out volumetric form like "boat"

  • Stretching, move carefully, make sure that the petal does not break

  • Processing the petals will require a lot of time and effort, so we do not recommend starting such a creation for restless people

  • For convenience, lay out the petals in a circle in order.

  • We recommend taking a wooden bead for the base, foamiran is well glued to it, unlike foil, and the tree does not corrode super glue like polystyrene foam. We pass the floral wire through the bead and twist it as in the photo. We carry out a strip of glue and glue the first petal

  • We do not just apply the petal, but we press it to make it look like in the photo. The core should not be visible in the final version.

  • Further in a circle, one by one, we glue first all the dark ones, then those that are lighter, and at the end completely white

  • When the bud becomes larger, it is inconvenient to sculpt from below, so we turn it over with the wire up and then glue

  • We get to white. We glue 5 white petals at the same distance from each other. The next row closes the gaps

  • If there are more petals, distribute them evenly. I have 3 left and I decided to attach them as well

  • Peony is ready! It remains to bite the wire, drop hot glue on the core and glue it to the pin

  • For those who did it for the first time and made some mistakes, a bead is visible in the frequency, you can hide it by gluing stamens

  • To make it look natural and showy, crumble some dry burgundy-pink pastels, moisten a tissue and blot around the edges. Dry with a cool air dryer

  • Peony is ready!

A delicate flower with the thinnest petals as if created by nature. But looking closely, you can understand what is happening with Thomas. Everything ingenious is simple, and so it is with us. We simply dismantled the flower, looking at how nature created it, and brought to life the beauty from foamiran.

  • We created a template and labeled the number of petals for each size. Cut very small ones from light green foma, the rest from white-milk

  • We cut each one out, warm it up a little, pull out the “boat” in the middle and stretch the edges as in the photo
  • The assembly is simple - on a ball from foil or a wooden bead. A wire is threaded into it and twisted into a flagellum

  • A drop of glue is dripped and the thinnest and smallest petal is glued. Next one by one
  • Having attached the last large petal, we glue two trefoils, having previously made a hole in the middle with an awl
  • Additionally, we go through glue so that the flower holds tightly

  • We attach the teip-summer and wrap it around the wire, we also glue the tip
  • We fix the flower on a brooch, headband, hairpin as desired

How to make wild flowers from foamiran with your own hands: templates

From the previous master classes, the principle of assembling flowers can be easily learned. But there are small wild flowers, the assembly of which is elementary, but patterns of petals and leaves are needed. In this section, you will find just that.

Large foamiran rose: pattern pattern

A beautiful bud is not difficult to make, but it looks quite realistic. Suitable for any age, and in the interior will become a unique decor.

To make a rose you will need:

  • 2 foma leaves - red / pink / milky optional and green
  • Patterns (cardboard for them)
  • piece of foil

The work is simple, but long, so before starting work, you should stock up on time and patience.

  • Cut out patterns: two petals of the same shape but different sizes
  • We lay out the fom, circle each pattern five times with a toothpick. A total of 10 petals
  • Turn on and heat up the iron
  • We apply each petal, warm it up slightly. We first stretch the middle, warm it up a little more and stretch along the edges
  • Base: you can roll a ball from foil, but if there is a wooden bead, we recommend using it
  • We pass the wire through the base and twist
  • We glue the first small petal around the base
  • We bend the second around the first and stretch the ends and squeeze a little as in the photo
  • Subsequent petals can be left as is, or can be tinted with paint as desired.
  • We glue each petal with an overlap to the previous one. First small, then large
  • Cut out the leaves from the green foma as in the photo, tint, let dry
  • We warm up on the iron and form a leaf as in the photo
  • Glue roses to branches
  • With teip tape we wrap the bases of the buds, leaves and all the wire

  • We take cardboard and draw a circle with a diameter of 9.8.7 cm on it. Cut it out and transfer it to fom 3 times. Total 3 foma blanks in different diameters
  • Core. Strip 2 * 27 cm. We paint it yellow and wait until it dries
  • We cut the entire strip of 1 cm into a fringe, twist it tightly and glue it on the side where there are no cuts
  • The circle must be pierced in the middle with an awl, and cut the edges, leaving the diameter of 1 cm intact, round the edges
  • Also do with circles that are smaller
  • We heat the iron, apply the petals and round each one a little
  • We pierce the yellow center with wire and fix it
  • We put the most on her small flower, then what is bigger, and the largest
  • We cut out a green circle with a diameter of 5 cm, cut it, like the petals, but do not round it. We heat it up, give it a little shape and string it on a flower
  • We heat the whole flower over the candle and form it completely
  • We attach to the base, if necessary, wrap the wire with teip tape

Foma peony step by step photo tutorial

Peony from foamiran

Materials:

  • pastel;
  • foamiran;
  • iron;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun.

1. Draw petal patterns on a piece of paper, and then transfer them to the foamiran. You should get 6 types of petals. For one peony, you need to cut out 10 petals according to the first three templates, 8 petals according to the fourth template, 17 petals according to the fifth and 7 petals according to the sixth.

2. Shade the petals with pink or purple pastels. When tinting, keep in mind that the farther the petal is from the center of the flower, the darker it should be.

4. Take a piece of wire, and bend its end with round-nosed pliers. On this wire, we will begin to glue the petals clockwise with an overlap.

It turned out a neat peony that can be glued to a hoop or hair band, and also used for interior decor. If you use Turkish fom, then the petals will turn out to be even more subtle and realistic.

You can make absolutely anything yourself flower from foamiran. You can use real petals from a withered flower as a template.

Useful video: Foamiran flower for beginners

The principle of making flowers is quite simple, you need to cut out details from foamiran, then apply them to the heated surface of the iron and shape them. Having trained on simple models, in the future you will be able to create real masterpieces from plastic suede.

You can choose the size of the flower yourself. It depends on which flower arrangement you would like to create. Therefore, print templates in the sizes you need.

For one flower, we need 3 small petals and 2 large ones. You also need one sepal. We circle the templates on foamiran of a suitable color.

Now we will tint the blanks with the help of art pastels. To do this, lay them out on cardboard and paint with a wet piece of foam sponge in the direction from the edge to the center. We paint the edge of the petal pink, the middle green, and the sepals brown.

Let's shape it with heat treatment. We apply each blank to the iron for 2 seconds, then quickly put it on a foam rubber sponge and press the middle with the help of a flower bulb. You will get such voluminous flowers.

We also apply the sepals to the iron, then scroll between the fingers, collecting all the leaves in a bundle. We process carefully so as not to tear the fom. After that, we straighten the workpiece.

We form the end of the wire into a droplet using round-nose pliers.

We string the first small flower with the petals up. We completely glue a loop of wire with it.

Gradually glue all the blanks. The flower appears to be opening. This means that it is not necessary to glue all subsequent layers tightly to each other along the entire length.

In the same way we fix the sepals.
