So, we have prepared everything necessary. Let's get to work. I will knit today from yarn of a beautiful milky blue color with the addition of a bright turquoise lurex thread, since the product to which this decoration is knitted has a deep Blue colour. A little later, I will add some contrasting or intermediate color to it for more expressiveness. But it's not today.

First, let's decide on the choice of hook number. What two ways you can do this was discussed in detail in this article about the rules of knitting. Since I have a fairly thick (compared to a sundress) yarn, I took a two and was not mistaken. In this case, the size really matters, since it will have to be knitted quite tightly and the knitting should wrap around our bead very tightly, without extra holes. So that in the end the strapping on it looked neat and even.

The first thing we do is fix the free end of the thread in the palm of our hand with our thumb, throw the working end twice through the index and middle fingers and remove the resulting ring. The result is such a loop, with which we will begin work.

Holding the ring at the intersection working thread and its free end with index and thumbs left hand, crochet in right hand we penetrate our ring and change its position. Those. we introduce the hook and with the index finger of the right hand we press from above the place where the free end of the thread and the working thread itself intersect.

Now all the most important and necessary for further crocheting of beads is in our strong and confident right hand. A left hand we let go. Let him rest.

I'm kidding, of course. It's too early to rest. With our left hand, we pick up the working thread, throwing it over the index finger, and in fact, now we have everything as usual when crocheting - in the right hook and knitting, in the left - working thread.

We begin to knit the beginning of the bead. To do this, grab the working thread with a hook and bring it out through the ring. We again grab the working thread and bring it out through the resulting loop on the hook. Our first loop is knitted. We knit three more exactly the same, each time introducing a hook into a large initial loop under two threads.

Having knitted 4 single crochets in this way, we pull up the free end of the thread to the stop and thus tighten our large ring into a small circle consisting of the first four single crochets. Congratulations! Our first, trickiest row is finished!

Small but very helpful advice. For convenience, we will make a mark with a thread of a contrasting color so that you can see where each of the rows of the circle begins and ends. We just thread a small piece of bobbin thread over the edge of the knitted circle and that's it. The label is ready.

The next row is done in this way. In the first loop of the previous row, we knit one single crochet. And in the second we knit two columns without a crochet. And we alternate in this way to the end of the row. The second row is ready.

Depending on the diameter of the beads you have chosen, you may need to knit 1 or 2 more similar rows per extension, only according to the following scheme: 2 (3) single crochets in the first 2 (3) loops of the previous row and 2 single crochets nakida in the 3rd (4th) loop of the previous row.

Since the diameter of my beads is only 9-10 mm, what we have already knitted with you is enough for me. Therefore, the next row (in my case, this is the 3rd row), I knit in this way: one column without yarn over in each of the loops of the previous row.

We try on our harness on a bead and see that in addition you can knit another exactly the same row. We knit the 4th row: one single crochet in each loop of the previous row.

Now the size of the strapping is sufficient and we pull it over the bead. We have only a little left - knit the rows in descending order and the knitted bead will be ready.

In descending order, the bead is tied as follows: in the first loop we knit one single crochet. From the next two we knit one single crochet. Those. we introduce the hook into one (second in a row) loop, grab the working thread. Without knitting it, insert the hook into the next (third) loop, grab the working thread again. And now we grab the working thread again and knit all three loops located on our hook. Thus we knit the entire 5th row.

On the 6th row, we knit one single crochet in every two loops of the previous row. And we are left with a very small section of 3-4 loops, which we close by pulling a knot with a cut working thread through it.

That's all. We just crocheted a bead with you. It remains to hide the cut tail from the working thread. Just thread it through the bead with a hook and cut off the excess. Ready!

As a result, after you repeat all the steps described above 10-15 times again, you will get wonderful multi-colored (or one-color, as you like) crochet beads. And next time we will make something beautiful and unusual out of them. What it will be, I don't know yet. Maybe something for our kids. In this photo, which is higher, pink beads are just made from such yarn. To color it, I used a small amount of liquid soap pigment. self made. Only not food which, namely pigments. They were already divorced from me (I don’t know what exactly, I won’t tell you here)

I unwound the required amount of yarn, dripped a certain amount of red pigment into it, shook it a little in my hands, distributing it in this way along the entire length of the yarn, rinsed it and ... voila! I got a soft pink yarn. Here is such a simple, but very effective and most importantly affordable way.
