Bead snowflakes for beginners are easy. Beaded snowflakes: do-it-yourself Christmas decorations (diagram)

December 20th, 2013 Elena Tsvetkova

New Year's Eve is hard to imagine without snow, and Christmas tree without snowflakes. They give it a special tenderness and sophistication. So I decided to make a real snowfall by collecting various patterns for weaving snowflakes from beads. Catch!

Snowflake garland

To make snowflakes from beads, we will prepare:

- crystalline biocones of light color;

- a large golden round bead;

- beads of turquoise, beige and golden colors.

We start weaving with the fact that we collect 6 crystal beads on the fishing line and close them in a circle.

Then we interweave 3 turquoise beads between them as shown in the figure:

In the third row, we weave golden and beige beads alternately, using the Ndebele technique:

In the next row, we continue weaving only with turquoise beads.

And finally, we form the tops of the snowflake from golden and beige beads according to scheme 6.Here is such a snowflake made of beads turned out.

In the center of the snowflake we fix a large round bead and form a loop for attaching to the Christmas tree.

Such beaded snowflakes can be woven a large number of, and then connect in a garland.

Shimmering beaded snowflake

I bring to your attention one more snowflake in the form of an octagonal star. Thanks to the combination of gold, silver and white color, in the light of garlands, it flickers like a real star. This snowflake looks like a Christmas star, it can be used to decorate the top of the Christmas tree. Give your Christmas tree uniqueness and charm - make an interesting shimmering beaded snowflake!

To make this snowflake, we need:

- white and gold beads;

- round silver and white beads;

- wire.

First, we form a ring from 8 golden beads. This is the base of our snowflake.

We continue weaving with two wires, which are indicated in the diagram in black and red. We twist the beads, forming a kind of triangles with the top at the base of the snowflake.

We carry out these elements around the entire circle of the base, connecting them to each other.

When weaving, we tighten the wire well so that it does not sag.

One by one, we perform simple elements around the central ring.

The last element should connect the beginning and end of the circle.

From them we form a suspension for fastening. Next, we bring out the ends of the wire at the base of the mount.

On them we begin to form the edges of the snowflake.

We alternately form golden and silver arrows of snowflakes.

After attaching the last element, we hide the ends of the wire.

New Year's shimmering snowflake is ready. It will decorate any Christmas tree, and will especially delight children.

Beaded crystal snowflake

But this snowflake looks like a crystal, a small transparent piece of ice. It is made very simply.

All that is needed is:

- white and transparent beads;

- wire.

Well, fantasy, of course!

The essence of making such snowflakes is quite simple: several circles or elements of a different shape are additionally attached to the base ring.

The basis of this snowflake is a ring, which is woven from 6 transparent beads. At one end of the wire we collect a large transparent round bead

And we place it in the middle of the ring, and weave one white bead between the transparent beads of the base. In the next row, between the white beads, we twist one transparent one. This will be the beginning of the tops of the snowflake.

Between these beads we twist 3 silver ones. And then, drawing the wire into the central one, we form the peaks of the snowflake, as shown in the photo. In total, we perform 5 peaks.

When the snowflake is ready, fix and cut the ends of the wire.

According to this scheme, you can weave both a pendant and earrings. In this case, weaving is performed on a nylon thread. And the last row, for additional strengthening, we pass the thread twice. Treat yourself to a little crystal snowflake!

Turquoise golden snowflake

This beautiful snowflake looks very unusual and original. And the combination of turquoise and golden beads is unsurpassed. A very unusual solution for decorating a Christmas tree.

To make this beaded snowflake, we need:

- turquoise glass beads;

- beads of golden and brown colors;

- wire and cutters.

The snowflake consists of two types of parts that are interconnected. To complete the first element, we lower one golden bead in the middle of the wire, then fold the ends of the wire together and lower one brown bead onto them. Then we disconnect the ends of the wire again and lower two glass beads on each. Further on the folded ends of the wire we again lower the brown bead.

We carry out further actions according to the scheme.

We form a similar element on the second wire. Methods for connecting parts to each other are shown in the figure.

After our snowflake is ready, the ends of the wire can be cut off, or a mount can be formed from them so that you can decorate the Christmas tree with it.

You can make a lot of similar snowflakes by combining different colors beads and glass beads, for example, a combination of blue and silver colors looks very good. Imagine - and you will succeed!

Snowflake on a frame

Most of the simple, but nevertheless beautiful beaded snowflakes are made using a frame to which the rest of the elements are attached. I want to show you such a snowflake.

For work we need:

- beads;

- glass beads;

- wire.

First, we form a frame for a snowflake. To do this, we lower 1 bead to the middle of the wire, and then, folding the ends together, we string a bead and glass beads on them.

At each end of the wire, we perform the following element.

On each side of the wire, we perform one more similar part. We continue weaving. The frame of a snowflake consists of six branches.

Then we draw the wire in the central part of the frame and begin to weave between the elements. We fasten them between glass beads on the frame, making one turn with a working wire.

This is how the snowflake should look like.

This scheme is also convenient because on its basis you can make many different snowflakes, consisting of beads and glass beads and weaving in additional elements.

By decorating your home and Christmas tree with your own handmade snowflakes, you will not only demonstrate your skills, but also give a piece of your warmth to your family and friends!

How to make a beaded snowflake

Tools and materials

To weave from beads, you need to acquire some tools and materials. First of all, you need beads.

Beads - small multi-colored beads of a round, elongated or chopped shape. It is made mainly of glass and plastic, but metal is also found. It can be plain, iridescent, transparent, shiny, matte.

The price depends on its quality. Czech and Japanese beads are most valued. All beads are the same size, evenly colored, without chips, cracks. Products from such material do not shed, do not crumble and will please the hostess for a long time. But such beads are very expensive, beginner needlewomen should practice on more affordable varieties.

Together with beads for weaving use beads of different shapes and sizes, sequins, feathers, buttons and everything that the craftswoman's fantasy suggests.

Still need thin wire for stringing beads. As a rule, it is made of steel and copper. You can use cotton and synthetic threads, fishing line. Still for snowflakes better wire, because any threads quickly wear out and tear, and the fishing line does not hold its shape well, and the snowflake will bristle.

To work with threads and fishing line you will need scissors and fine beaded needles. But wire cutters, pliers and round nose pliers are useful for wire.

If you do not have such an arsenal, do not rush to get upset. To make a simple snowflake out of wire and beads enough long nose pliers that are in every home. They are also called platypuses.

Let's get a look, . Jewelry is most often woven from it: earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, pendants.

They also make key rings, children's toys, figurines from beads. Very beautiful . In general, beaded trees look luxurious, for example. They also embroider household items such as lampshades, needle beds.

It has now gained particular popularity. This is a thick rope, woven or knitted from small beads. Depending on the length, necklaces and bracelets are made from it.

  2. String 6 large beads to the middle and close into a ring. You can twist the wire, or you can simply stretch the ends into opposite beads.
  3. At one end, string one red long bead and one small golden one, again red and a small golden one.
  4. Return the working end of the wire to the second red bead, making a loop around the second small one. Get the end of the branch.
  5. Bring the working end between the first red and the first small bead to the side.
  6. String again a small golden bead, a red glass bead, a small golden bead and return the end to the middle of the resulting triangle.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6.
  8. String small, red, small beads and return the end to the very beginning of the branch between large beads.
  9. Pass the working end of the wire inside a large bead and bring it out between this bead and the next one.
  10. Repeating steps 3-9, weave all the rays of the snowflake, working first with one part of the wire, then with the other.
  11. Twist the ends of the wire, cut them off and thread the remaining ends into large beads.

Congratulations! Your first beaded snowflake is ready!

Delicate snowflake on the line

Having learned the basics of beading, it's time to move on to a more complex version. We suggest you make a snowflake from beads and glass beads with your own hands according to the scheme. In this version, a little more attention to detail is required, but, believe me, the result is worth it!

So, for such a snowflake needed:

  • Small round beads of white and blue colors;
  • Silver glass beads;
  • Fishing line, scissors, needle. If the fishing line is thick enough, you can do without a needle.

You start weaving from the middle of the snowflake and lead the whole process with one long end of the fishing line in a circle. When you string all the rays and the fishing line returns to the beginning, tie the ends in a knot, cut off the excess and hide the antennae in beads.

You can make toy characters from beads and delight your child with this, and even better, teach him this kind of skill.

In this article, we invite you to consider light scheme how to make a snowflake from beads for a Christmas tree. At first glance, it seems that there is nothing complicated in this weaving, but it is worth noting that for this type of product, you need to accurately calculate and understand the scheme by which you will perform this work.

Base

When choosing beads for a snowflake, it is better to give preference to white fibrous or transparent colors, their brilliance is similar to the brilliance and beauty of a real snowflake. And of course, you can experiment a lot with colors. To make a snowflake from beads for beginners, you should try to weave it with 6 rays. Thus, it will be easier for you to understand the essence of the robot.

The beginning and base of this product is its center, from which its weaving will begin. For beginners, it is worth making your first snowflake multi-colored, in order not to get confused when and what circle to make. Let's get down to business: our snowflake will consist of 5 rows with 6 rays.

On the thread, string 12 beads, and close them in a circle. To do this, pass the thread through the first bead, then through the remaining 11 beads. At the end, your thread should come out through the first bead you started the circle with. In this way you will get the first circle.

In the next step, you need to put 3 beads on the thread and pass the needle through the third bead of the first row, then again we collect 3 beads, and we pierce the 5th bead from the first row with the needle and so on in a circle. To bring out the thread, it must be pulled through the first and second bead of the first row. As a result, you will get the second row, which looks like small triangles.

  • Row number 3.

In order to make the third row, you need to put 5 beads on the thread. After that, you need to skip the thread through the top of the second triangle in the second row. This should be done five times, and at the end the thread should be pulled through the first and second bead from the third row.

  • Row number 4.

In order to make this row more beautiful and attractive, you need to use beads of several colors, light and dark shades.

It is necessary to dial 1 dark, 1 light, 1 dark color bead on the thread, and pass the thread through the fourth bead of the third row. After that, you need to collect 3 light-colored beads on the thread and pass the thread through the 7th bead of the same row and bring the thread out. Then repeat the above described weaving in a circle. As a result, the thread should come out through the first bead of the third row.

  • Row number 5.

This series will be our final.

To do this, you need to collect 5 beads per thread, and pass it through the second dark bead in the fourth row, then through the fourth and fifth in the second row and through the sixth and seventh in the third row, and at the end of the first element you need to stretch the thread through the third dark bead in the fourth row. Such a pattern in weaving 5 rows, you need to do 5 more times, until the circle is completed, then pull out the thread and fasten it.
That's all, the snowflake is ready, we can safely assume that you have taken the first step from a beginner to a beginner professional.

Weaving snowflakes from beads with patterns for beginners is very important, because the person who takes on this robot for the first time, without step by step instructions and an additional scheme, it is easy to get confused in the order and sequence of fixing the elements he needs. You can do anything from beads, relying on your wild imagination and interest in this type of needlework.
Masters are not born, they become gradually!

Many different snowflakes and their weaving patterns

Flat snowflakes

Snowflake number 1

The snowflake is made of gold and pearl-pink beads with a diameter of 4 mm. Carry out the product in accordance with fig. 21. When weaving the last rows of snowflakes, you can use a needle, since the hole in the beads is quite large. Be careful not to twist the wire, as small knots form and the wire breaks easily in these places. It is advisable to go through the last row twice so that the product is rigid enough and keeps its shape. When finished, the snowflake has a diameter of just over 7 cm. You can also use fishing line for weaving.

Finally, thread the gold thread through any of the outermost gold beads, tie a small knot, after which the snowflake can be hung on the Christmas tree.

1st row dial 16 beads, alternating through one gold and pink beads. Close the beads in a ring (Fig. 21, a).
2nd row - consists of 8 beams, 3 gold-colored beads in each beam (Fig. 21, b, c, d).
3rd row - also consists of 8 rays and each with 5 pink and 3 gold beads forming a pico (Fig. 21, e, f, g, i, i).
4th row - the same as the second row, consists of 8 rays but 3 gold beads in each (Fig. 22, k-l).

Snowflake number 2

This snowflake is made of gold beads with a diameter of 4 mm and 2 mm and pearl pink with a diameter of 4 mm. How to make a snowflake is shown in fig. 22. In finished form, this product has a diameter of 9 cm.

1st row - type 4 gold beads and lock them into a ring (Fig. 23, a, b).
The 2nd row consists of 4 pink beads (Fig. 24, a, 6).
The 3rd row has 4 rays, each of which consists of 5 pink beads (Fig. 25, a-c).
The 4th row also consists of 4 rays, 3 gold beads each (Fig. 26, a. b).
The 5th row is formed by eight beams, each of which has a pico of three large beads and three small beads. In this? / 1 row, all the beads are golden (Fig. 27, a-f).
The 6th row has 8 rays, 3 pink beads each (Fig. 28, a-c).

Snowflake weaving pattern:

small snowflakes

To make a snowflake (Fig. 11) you will need about two low beads, here you can combine artificial beads with gems. You will also need brass or copper wire.

Description of work

Put eight beads on a wire about 50 cm long, leave a piece of wire about 10 cm long on the left side. Connect both wires together so that a loop forms from the beads, and twist the wire around the beads by 1-2 mm.

String 6 beads on the working end of the wire. Pull the wire in the opposite direction through the first of the 6 beads and pull it tight. Pass the wire through the next bead of the inner ring and string 6 beads again (fig. 12).

Continue in this way until you have eight heifers (Fig. 13). Finally, connect both ends of the wire together, twist them and cut off the excess. Such a snowflake, like all subsequent ones, can be used as an independent decoration and as an element of pendants and garlands (Fig. 19).

Based on this snowflake, you can also make a number of new ones if you partially change the size of the beads (Fig. 14, 15) or increase the number of beads (Fig. 16, 17). You can combine snowflakes into one garland and decorate a window or a Christmas tree with it (Fig. 18, 19).

Snowflake from beads and glass beads for beginners

To work, you need to stock up on white (blue, pink, yellow) beads, as well as take glass beads and wire, the thickness of which should be selected depending on the diameter of the hole in the glass beads, silver paint, a small piece of foam and scissors. If you are a beginner and beading is a mystery to you, then try the easiest option for creating a beaded snowflake for beginners, since it does not need special weaving, you can limit yourself to using the manufacturing process description scheme.
What is the wire for?

It's simple: you need to take the beads and put them on the wire. We take the wire and begin to cut it into equal parts, which will serve as rays of a beaded snowflake. At the end of such a wire, you need to make a small loop that will protect the beads from falling. Now we take beads, glass beads and beads and begin to put them on the wire in any order convenient for you. Do not forget to measure 7 millimeters of wire, on which then start stringing beads. According to the same principle, it is necessary to create a certain number of rays, not forgetting about the rules of weaving, as the master class says, of which the asterisk basically has from 6 to 8 pieces.
How to make the core: Styrofoam or gold paint?
Styrofoam will serve us as the core of the snowfields. If you like white, then you can leave everything unchanged, otherwise, take golden paint and paint over the foam with it to give the snowflake a more presentable look.
Wait until the paint is completely absorbed and dry, and only after that you can carefully insert the rays of the snowflake into the core. It is worth noting that in order to give the snowflakes an additional miniaturization, it is recommended to use pins that have mother-of-pearl heads or different colors of glass beads.
Our master class is over, now this simple miracle can be hung on a Christmas tree or included in New Year's composition. Remember that handmade beaded snowflakes will turn out beautiful and original if you make them with love and put a piece of your soul into it.
More complex options for weaving a variety of snowflakes can be mastered with the help of step-by-step video master classes presented in our article.

Beading snowflakes according to the scheme

So, now you are a little familiar with beading, albeit a little primitive. Now it's time to deal with more complex options. We take beads at number 11, the colors can be completely different, ranging from white, transparent and ending with silver. Do not forget about white fishing line or thread, as well as a needle of the desired diameter. We take the thread and tie a small knot on it, clearly following the patterns, cut off a part about 20 cm in size and thread it into the needle.
Colors and basic rows of snowflakes

Fig. 1 Bead snowflakes will consist of five rows, each of them will have a corresponding color. The first is green, the second is lilac, the third is brown, the fourth is red, and the fifth is purple.
It's time for weaving. We take a thread and we collect twelve beads on it, then we make a circle out of them, then the needle must be passed through the first bead and the remaining ones. The needle should be brought out thanks to the first bead. Thus, we get the initial row (Fig. 1).
Second and third rows: how to follow the scheme

Fig. 2Our master class proceeds to the manufacture of the second row. On the thread you need to dial three beads, according to the scheme. The needle should be threaded into the bead of the initial row and brought out. Here we get a triangle. Next, you need to dial an additional three beads, thread the thread into the fifth of them, and this should be done to the end, if everything is done correctly, then six triangles come out. In the end, you should thread the thread thanks to the first and second beads in the second row and bring it out, it is important to do everything right (Fig. 2).
Final stage
The turn of the third row has come and here a master class will come to the rescue. We take a thread and thread five beads into it. The thread must be passed through the top of the triangle at number two of the second row. We do the same five times. After approaching the end of the row, it is necessary to pass the thread through the beads of the second, third and first rows and bring it out, so as not to confuse anything, look at the diagram (Fig. 3).
Now in more detail about the fourth row. We collect several beads on the thread and pass them through the fourth bead in the third row. Next, add three more beads, pass them through the seventh bead in the third row. The thread must be brought out. Beading should be done in exactly the same way using this scheme, and this should be done until the fourth row is completed. After the work is completed, the thread should be brought out through the first bead (Fig. 4). A beaded snowflake for beginners is almost ready.

Fig.3
Fig. 4 And now almost the finish line, it's time to weave the fifth row. You need to take a thread and collect five beads on it, then thread the thread into the fourth row with the help of the second bead, then through the fifth, and also the fourth in the third row, the top of the second triangle of the second row. It is necessary to repeat this whole technology about five times until the fifth row ends, the thread should be pulled out and tied so that the snowflake created from the beads does not subsequently bloom (Fig. 5).

Fig.5
Such snowflakes will become an exceptional Christmas tree decoration, and if you make a lot of them, you can also hang them all over the room, thus creating a real holiday!
IN Lately weaving snowflakes with diagrams and video tutorials has become widespread, since without them, beginners, and even professionals, can get confused and do something wrong.
