When it is well mixed, tightly close the jar with a lid. Place the jar in a freezer bag, put ice in the same place. Sprinkle salt over ice. Try to squeeze all the air out of the bag as carefully as possible and close it tightly.
Place the bag, sealed side up, in the center of a small towel and gather the ends of the towel together to form a bag. Without letting the bag unroll, shake it for 8-10 minutes or until the ice cream is done.
