• The length of the finished product is 50 cm (measured from the waist line to the level of the desired skirt length). Don't forget about seam allowances and hem hem. The standard margin is 2 cm on each side. I.e.: 50 cm + 4 cm = 54 cm.
• Waist circumference - 66 cm (measured at the narrowest point of the torso).
• Hip circumference - 92 cm (measured at the most convex part of the buttocks).

Building the base of the skirt

First, actually, the pattern itself.

1. Construct a rectangle ABCD. Side AB=CD and AD=BC. The sides AB and CD are equal to the measurement of Sb + 1 cm (for all sizes). 33 cm + 1 cm = 34 cm. Sides AD and BC are identical to the length of the product, i.e. 50 cm
2. Next, you need to draw a line of the side seam. Divide the segment AB in half and put a point T. Draw a perpendicular from the resulting point until it touches the line DC.
3. From point A down, set aside 22 cm along line AD (for all sizes) and set point L. Draw a straight line from it to the right, and at the intersections with lines T and B, set points L1 and L2.
4. Now you need to determine the depth of future tucks. To do this, subtract the waist half-circumference from the measure of the half-circumference of the hips. The measurement must be taken taking into account the 1 cm increase that you did at the very beginning: 47 cm - 34 cm = 13 cm. 6.5 cm, 3.25 cm on each side. The depth of the front tuck is slightly less than the back, by 1-2 cm, - 2.5 cm, i.e. 1.25 cm per side. And the back "takes" the remainder - 4 cm, 2 cm per side.
5. Now you need to transfer the calculations to the pattern. Set aside 3.25 cm from the T point to the left and right (half of the side tuck). The tuck should be raised above the waist line by 1 cm (for all sizes). From the obtained point 1, draw a straight line to point L1 on both sides of the tuck, as shown in the figure.
6. Divide the segment 1L1 in half, and measure 0.5 cm at the division point at a right angle. Put a point.
7. Using a template, draw a curved line. If you don't have a pattern, do everything manually, the main thing is that the line is smooth.
8. Make a front tuck. From the calculations it is clear that the depth of the tuck is 2.5 cm. Set aside 6 cm from the side seam line to the right and lower the straight line to the hip line at a right angle. The length of the front tuck is 10 cm (for all sizes). On the waist line, from where the perpendicular was laid, set aside 1.25 cm to the right and left (half of the front tuck) and connect the points obtained, forming a full-fledged tuck, as in the diagram above. 9. Make a back tuck. Its depth is 4 cm (from calculations). Divide the AT segment in half and, at the division point, set aside 2 cm on each side. Draw a straight line down, on which measure 13 cm from the waist line - this is the length of the tuck, the same for all sizes. Connect the dots by creating a back tuck.
10. Making the halves of the skirt. On the back side: connect lift point 1 to tuck point 2. On the front half: connect lift point 1 to tuck point 1.25.

How to cut a skirt

CONSTRUCTION OF A DESIGN DRAWING OF A STRAIGHT TWO-SEAM SKIRT

To build a drawing (Fig. 14), the following measurements of the figure are required: semi-waist circumference (St), floor at hip circumference (C6) and product length (Dsh) - And you also need to know the amount of the allowance for loose fitting along the waist line (Pt) hips (P6). We build a right angle with the vertex at point T. The segment TN corresponds to the length of the skirt and is the middle of the front panel. The segment TB determines the position of the line of the hips and is equal to 13.5-19.5 cm. Through the obtained points B and H, we draw lines perpendicular to the straight line TN. From point B along the line of the hips, we set aside a segment equal to the measurement of the half-girth of the hips (C6) plus an increase in the free fit on the hips (Pb), and set point B1
