1. Rinse your hair with vinegar immediately after dyeing. To make the color last longer and more vibrant, rinse your hair with an aqueous solution of white vinegar (1 part vinegar to 1 part water). Mix a glass of vinegar and a glass of water in a small bowl and pour this solution into your hair. Wait about two minutes, then rinse your hair thoroughly with water.
