Beautiful New Year's costume for a boy with his own hands. DIY carnival costume

Evening masquerade - it's so unusual! All children, without exception, love to dress up in various costumes, portray their favorite characters and animals. The masquerade game will please the guests, everyone will try to come up with something unusual to impress others.

So, you have decided to come up with a fancy dress for your child. Remember, first of all, that the costume should please the child. Do not try to force your son or daughter to wear a costume that he does not like if he wants to come to the holiday just in the mask of his favorite cartoon character.

There are two more essential points that you should always remember - the suit should be comfortable and not pose a danger to the baby. Make sure in advance that the child can move freely in the suit and that the material from which it is made is not flammable. The costume should not have any protruding or protruding elements that the child could catch on to something.

It is possible that your little one will feel rather awkward in a fancy dress. It can be too tight for him or “bite”, as, indeed, any suit, when it comes to small children. If the suit is really small and tight, it is unlikely that the child will be able to admire what is happening around him! Therefore, try on the costume in advance and remake it according to the figure of the child.

If you are preparing for a holiday in the fresh air, this problem takes on a different aspect - whether it will be warm in a suit and whether it will get wet from the rain.

As a basis for a suit, you can use sports jacket and trousers (in summer - a T-shirt and jeans).

Decorate the "base" in an original way - sew, glue something or just draw with felt-tip pens. You've got a comfortable, inexpensive carnival outfit, and it doesn't matter if it gets dirty or torn during the holiday!

Every family needs to have a so-called “costume chest” that contains the items needed to make any fancy dress.

At any time, from the "chest" you can get either a suitable suit or the material for its manufacture.

Thus, you do not have to rush before the festive evening and look for a suit in the store - you have everything you need at home.

"Chest" can be useful in bad weather. Children can be given the task of "doing" themselves holiday costume as a preparation for the upcoming celebration. In order to collect such a “chest”, set yourself a goal to occasionally buy some inexpensive costume or costume element, a necessary accessory during the year.

Thus, by the end of the year, the "chest" will be full! In addition, you can turn to your grandmother's suitcase - it will surely contain something suitable for a modern child.

In the "chest" can be stored:
fairy magic wand
Royal scepter
knight's sword
Motley silk scarf
old shoes
Umbrella
Stilts
Conductor's stick
Blazer
Decorations
Face makeup
Artificial fur
Gloves
Various hats: firefighter helmet, football cap, police cap, cowboy hat
Tie
masks
Old towels, sheets, blankets (for tents, ropes, etc.)
Boots
Sports uniform
Scraps of fabric of unusual coloring

If your festive evening is devoted to a special theme, costumes should be chosen very carefully.

If you decide to sew an original carnival costume for your child, you can make a pattern yourself or contact the atelier. Flip through fashion magazines - there are always tips on how to sew a costume for a child.

To quickly make an original or even funny costume, use the items that we list below. Using these things and accessories, you can make almost any costume, if you show ingenuity and imagination, from a wizard to a monster.

It is interesting to ask guests to come up with their own original suit at a gala dinner. Give everyone necessary materials, tools and instruct the children on how to follow safety precautions, and then let them act on their own.

Surprisingly, it's not at all difficult to come up with an original costume - one or two rolls of toilet paper and plastic wrap, and you are a mummy!

I haven’t posted anything for a long time, although work is underway, there is interesting, useful ... Here is the material from the category "long promised" ...))

Once upon a time - scary to say, 4 years have already passed! - I sewed a costume for Dimula's grandson in the kindergarten. Carnival costumes of this kind always impress both the hero for whom the costume is sewn, and those around him, young and old ...)) I was convinced of this when my grandson came to the kindergarten in it ..) The original name of the costume was already "Emperor Nicholas II". But just before the holiday, the future "emperor" managed to pick his nose open, he had to urgently correct: an officer of the emperor's retinue ...))) At the moment, after 4 years, it seems somehow too pretentious, so it’s quite possible to limit ourselves to "General of Infantry" or a general of the Life Guards ...)) Nothing less, because the suit was sewn taking into account the regalia, as indicated by the embroidery on the sleeves, epaulettes, aiguillette and stripes on the trousers.

Since the decor is obvious on the uniform and trousers, everything is generally clear, I will not talk about the tailoring of these details of the costume, I will only give the decor and calculation of accessories for decoration, because. while putting everything together, spent a lot of money and left a lot of excess. I give only what I need...)) Please note that the accessories are all gold, but there are many shades of it on sale, so try to take everything in one place so that you can pick up one shade of gold - pure and beautiful.

I showed the costume here http://www.liveinternet.ru/users/elena_laitdream/post254082753, judging by the reviews, I liked it very much, I promised to tell you more if there were requests. Requests appeared a week ago ...)))))

The promise must be fulfilled, so I’ll tell you the main, in fact, the most difficult thing: sewing a cap and an epaulette, along the way I’ll tell you a little about the aiguillette - everything else for a minimally sewing mother will be quite doable.

So, the costume in the end is supposed to be like this (more photos at the link above):

I'll preface a little. Before collecting such a costume, I spent a lot of time looking at photographs and ceremonial portraits of Nicholas II, because. I wanted to make the uniform as close to the original as possible. I was looking for information on the types and shape of epaulettes, aiguillettes, I was looking for suitable accessories to get the effect of gold embroidery. I mainly focused on this image of the emperor:

Due to its actual closeness, she also kept this picture in front of her eyes, although there are noticeable differences from the portrait uniform, but here some details are better visible, including the aiguillette.

To be honest, I myself am very pleased with this suit, I don’t even remember what work I was SO pleased with - well, maybe wedding dresses their girls ...))))

So, first of all, what you need for the ENTIRE costume:

· Fabric for a white uniform that holds its shape (optimally stretch gabardine) - uniform length + sleeve length + 10 cm for processing = approximately 1 m for a 4-year-old child + cap consumption. Only about 1.3 m with a width of 1.5 m

Cloth for trousers dark blue- 1m

· Dublerin glue of different density: the most dense, the so-called. hat - about 0.5 m x 1 m and the same average density of doubler or interlining

Thin plastic crossbar (0.3 cm) 0.7 m or flexible wire– 0.9 m

Plastic for the visor - thin thick cardboard or plastic stationery corner

Gold-colored soutache or thin edging 1.5 m (in relief seams - at your discretion, there are no reliefs in the original)

Braid imitating embroidery or gold embroidery, 4 cm wide - approximately 5 meters (depending on the height of the child - stripes on trousers, along the clasp of the tunic, edging of the sleeves, collar, cap band and epaulettes)

Various adhesive applications: 2 for sleeves, 2 for cap

Cord of medium thickness (3 mm in diameter) - 10 meters (weave the edging of the visor and aiguillette, edging the cap along the bottom)

Cord with a thickness of at least 0.5 in diameter, twisted necessarily - 3 meters (for aiguillette)

Tips gold for aglet 4 pcs

· Gold buttons on the leg 4 pcs on the uniform on the clasp and 1 flat button under the right epaulette to strengthen the aiguillette

Zipper and button on pants

Dense patterned gold ribbon - for a belt 0.5 m (cm around the circumference of the child's waist)

· Belt buckle.

2 pieces of sheet foam rubber about 0.5-1 cm thick or something similar (I used liners in the tops of boots made of soft plastic)

Fringe on lace gold color 0.6 m

Velcro tape - cm 10

Approximate cost including all details -1500 - 1800 r

Advice: if possible, try to pick up all the gold fittings in one place so that you can check the identity of the color. As it turned out, gold can be poisonous yellow, yellow-gray, pale gold - and all this is very unsightly in this case, because. we need a pure gold color...))

There are a lot of little things, but, believe me, the result is worth it: no one missed Dimkin's costume, absolutely no one!!! Neither children, nor parents, nor Santa Claus, nor teachers - even from other groups came to look at him. And now, when the costume was donated to the kindergarten of my in-law (she works there as a teacher), it is literally in great demand, who will be in it - for 4 years already ...)))))

Required measures:

Child's head circumference: measurement + 1 - 1.5 cm = 52 cm

Calculations:

  1. Head circumference + 1-1.5 cm = 52 cm (Ogol) - cap band length
  2. Basic Parts Calculation: Radius R1 = About goal divided by 6.28 (for all sizes)= 8.3 cm;
  3. Draw a circle with a radius R1 - 8.3 cm. Set aside 5.5 cm along the circumference line - the width of the part of the cap protruding above the band, the crown. The resulting circle is divided into 2 parts. 1 \ 2 we divide in half again, i.e. we divide the full circle into three parts: 1/2 and two parts 1/4 each. The part drawn into two halves is increased by 3 cm at the division point along the outer edge and aligns the outer edge of the circle. DO NOT cut!!!
  4. We draw the top, the bottom of the cap. To do this, draw a circle with a radius equal to R1 + 5.5 cm.
  5. We draw a visor. To do this, on the pattern of the crown, stepping back from the points of division into two parts of 2-3-4 cm, draw a visor of the desired width. Usually it is 4-5 cm. We reduce the corners of the visor by 1 cm each (see the diagram) to give the visor a curved shape when sewing. We remove the visor part from the pattern as a separate part.
  6. We cut out all the details, while cutting the detail of the crown into half and into two 1/4 circles each.

Scheme - pattern:

Cut out the details:

Bottom 2 parts (external and internal)

Tula - 2 parts of a semicircle + 4 parts of a quarter circle (3 external - 3 internal)

Band - 2 parts (external-internal)

Visor - 2 parts (upper-lower)

1. We glue all external parts with medium hardness glue doubler, internal parts with maximum hardness doubler, while trying to cover the allowances with doubler no more than 2-3 mm, otherwise it will be difficult to turn the parts out. Be sure to let the glued parts cool down, because. in the process of work, aggressive creasing when turning out will be inevitable. Poor-quality gluing will spoil the appearance.

2. We grind the details of the visor along the outer seam, cut and cut the allowances, turn inside out and iron. We put inside the lining of the visor made of cardboard or plastic - a double part. note: we cut out the liner of the visor without allowances! We notice the concave edge of the visor, leaving the allowances open. We put a golden cord on the curved edge of the visor, repeatedly knotted or woven into a pigtail, sewn on by hand, leave more allowances for the cord, cm 2 (the cord unwinds strongly), laying the pigtail as flat as possible at the ends of the visor.

3. We put a golden braid on the upper part of the band, attach it along both edges. We grind the details of the band along short sections, mark the middle along the length of the band, insert the visor and grind along the circumference. We cut the braid of the visor. We sweep the seam, especially carefully the visor, and sew along the band at a distance of 0.5 cm. If the metallized braid is poorly sewn on the machine, we baste it along the band, remove the cuts into the middle seam of the band, perform all operations and after a delay sew the band manually.

4. We connect the details of the crown in circles, iron the allowances. On the front part of the front half of the cap on the seam along the markings, we strengthen the cockade - the double-headed eagle and the crown: iron it through a well-moistened iron. We apply the resulting details to the open sections of the band on both sides: from the front - the front, from the back - the inside, not forgetting that the middle of the visor, the central seam of the crown, on which the cockade is glued, should be on the same line. We grind, turn away the details of the tulle, sweep and stitch along the band.

5. The details of the bottom of the cap are folded inside out to the wrong side and then we work as with a single-layer part. To the open cuts of the crown, taken together, we tack the bottom, folding these parts face to face (the outer part to the outer part), sew, cut the cut to a width of 0.5 cm and overlay it. We twist the cap - it's not easy, but it does work. We carefully straighten, iron. Most likely, for ironing you will need a smooth terry towel, folded several times so that it fits inside the cap.

6. We measure the length of the outer edge of the bottom. We cut off the desired measure from the regilin tape with a margin of 2 cm for allowances. We overlap the regilin allowances and join them in any convenient way: we sew tightly by hand, glue with adhesive tape or glue gun. We get a ring. Holding the place of docking, fold the ring in half and put it in the cap - straightened out, the ring will keep the shape of the top of the cap well.

7. Along the edge of the bottom, manually sew a cord with a cross section of 0.5 cm, closing the outer seam of the cap. Ready.

Epaulets.

You will need:

2 pieces of sheet foam rubber about 0.5-1 cm thick or something similar (I used liners in the tops of boots made of soft foam plastic)

Fabric - necessarily gold-colored knitwear - pieces

Remains of gold braid, approximately 0.5 m

Fringe on gold-colored braid 0.6 m

Velcro tape - cm 10

Details:

According to the template from foam rubber or soft foamed plastic, cut out epaulettes, similarly cut out 4 parts from knitwear with 1 cm allowances for seams.

1. Put a gold braid on two parts along the length of the epaulette and sew on with a stitch or by hand. We impose on the other two parts in the middle and sew the hard part of the Velcro tape 5 cm long for each epaulette (the second - the soft part - we sew on the uniform along the shoulder seam). Having folded the parts in pairs (the part with the braid and the part with Velcro) with the front side inward, we grind them, leaving the narrow edge of the epaulette open, cut the allowances and turn them inside out.

2. We insert the inserts into the epaulettes, tuck open sections and sew them up by hand. On the edge of the epaulette we sew a fringe by hand. The narrow edge of the epaulette remains without fringe.

Concerning aiguillette.

As a rule, these are cords of different weaving, which are attached to the shoulder and one or more buttons of the uniform on the clasp. This photograph also helped, although I see that the fastening of the aiguillette is different from what was accepted in the tsarist army, and later in the Soviet one. However, this image will help with the weaving, the only thing I did differently was sew on a flat button on the shoulder, gathered all the cords of the aiguillette together and wrapped it with a narrow yellow satin ribbon, tied them and made a loop, which I put on the sewn flat button on the shoulder . An epaulette is attached from above - in the end everything turns out well ...)))

Please note that part of the aiguillette cords goes under the arm back to the shoulder.

For a complete costume you will need (the approximate cost of all materials is 1500-1800 r):

  • Fabric for a white uniform that keeps its shape (optimally stretch gabardine) - uniform length + sleeve length + 10 cm for processing = approximately 1 m for a 4-year-old child + cap consumption. Only about 1.3 m with a width of 1.5 m
  • Fabric for dark blue trousers - 1 m
  • Dublerin glue of different density: the most dense, the so-called. hat - about 0.5 m x 1 m and the same average density of doubler or interlining
  • Thin plastic crossbar (0.3 cm) 0.7 m or flexible wire - 0.9 m
  • Plastic for the visor - thin thick cardboard or plastic stationery corner
  • Gold-colored soutache or thin edging 1.5 m (in embossed seams)
  • Braid imitating embroidery or gold embroidery, 4 cm wide - approximately 5 meters (depending on the height of the child - stripes on trousers, along the clasp of the tunic, edging of the sleeves, collar, cap band and epaulettes)
  • Adhesive applications different: 2 on the sleeves, 2 on the cap
  • Cord of medium thickness (3 mm in diameter) - 10 meters (weave the edging of the visor and aiguillette, edging the cap along the bottom)
  • Cord with a thickness of at least 0.5 in diameter, twisted necessarily - 3 meters (for aiguillette)
  • Gold tips for aiguillette 4 pcs
  • Gold buttons on the leg 4 pcs on the uniform for the clasp and 1 flat button under the right epaulette to strengthen the aiguillette
  • Zipper and button on pants
  • Thick patterned gold ribbon - for a belt 0.5 m (cm around the circumference of the child's waist)
  • Belt buckle.
  • 2 pieces of sheet foam about 0.5-1 cm thick or something similar (I used soft plastic boot tops)
  • Fabric - necessarily gold-colored knitwear - pieces
  • Fringe on gold-colored braid 0.6 m
    • Velcro tape - cm 10

Here, in fact, and all the difficulties.

I hope I helped those who are planning to sew this for their child beautiful suit, unlike the annoying bunnies, musketeers and ninjas ...)))

Perhaps there is no better tradition in the world than a masquerade ball. Among adults, this joyful event is very popular. Well, what can you say about children! For them, in addition to entertainment, it is also a kind of competition. After all, every kid, however, like an adult, wants to appear at the holiday in the best outfit, with a beautiful crown, or just surprise everyone with something unusual. True, it is much easier to come up with a carnival costume for children than to choose clothes for an adult.

The holiday is just around the corner, and you are panicking? In fact, a children's carnival New Year's costume is not such a big problem. The outfit can be rented, bought (today many companies and online stores specialize in this direction) or independently approach the solution of this issue. Of course, the purchased outfit is more detailed and of high quality, in addition, professionals were engaged in its tailoring. But only loving mother it will be possible to create a bright, unusual and fabulous costume from the materials available at home.

What to dress your daughter in: in the animal world

There are two ways to create children's carnival costumes for girls. The first involves decorating clothes purchased in a store. In this case, beads, feathers, sequins, buttons, colored paper, ribbons, New Year's tinsel, in a word, everything that can transform a costume. The second method involves tailoring an outfit from scratch. Do not immediately abandon this idea, because it is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. This option is suitable for the category of mothers who have little sewing skills, and, of course, who have at home sewing machine. If you decide to sew a suit yourself, you should not choose a complex fabric, since it will take much more time to create an outfit (additional processing along the edge will be required). The ideal option is fleece, children's knitwear, supplex, felt and tulle. Don't have a pattern? This is not a problem, they can be found in fashion magazines.

Let's look at some interesting, but at the same time simple options. Let's take, for example, the children's carnival costume "Bright Butterfly". To create it, you need a wire, from which you need to twist the frame of the wings, and then cover it with a cloth (can be replaced with tulle). Butterfly wings are ready, but somehow they look gloomy with us. Let's decorate them with beads, sequins or sequins. Remember what else our insect lacks? Of course, the horn. They can be made from the same wire as the frame, fixed on a regular rim. It remains to choose a beautiful dress. On this, perhaps, and all. Your child is ready for the morning.

Your child will look rather unusual in a suit. Choose a skirt and blouse suitable for the holiday and paste over them with "flakes" of gold film. Organza or tulle is suitable for creating a tail. golden color. Don't forget that the real gold fish must be crowned.

Children's carnival costume for a girl: visiting a fairy tale

Every girl dreams of feeling like a real princess or fairy! So why not give the baby such pleasure? Moreover, the occasion is suitable. Prepare a beautiful elegant dress, a chic crown (if the image of a princess is created) or (for a sorceress). Many children fell in love with the Tinker Bell fairy, and she has very beautiful transparent wings. Maybe you should give your daughter a couple of these?

If you want something more original, you can turn the girl into a gypsy. To do this, you need a bright skirt with flounces and as many shiny bracelets as possible.

We dress the son: popular options

It is not at all necessary that a children's carnival costume for a boy matches the symbol of the coming year. You can create for your child the image of a pirate, a forest animal, a hero, a sailor. There are many options, and each of them is good in its own way. Each mother knows better the tastes and wishes of her children.

To create a hero, you will need a wide shirt, bright trousers, a helmet, boots and a sword. You will certainly find clothes and shoes, but the rest will have to be done on your own. A helmet and a sword can be made from cardboard by pasting them with shiny gold and silver foil.

If the son agrees to be in the role of Puss in Boots, boots with large buckles and wide brim will be required. It needs to be decorated with feathers, add ribbons and a beautiful buckle.

Fancy children's carnival costume for a boy

If the kid would really like to look funny, the image of Leshy or the terrible Koshchei the Immortal will do! With the first option, everything is very simple: tousle the child’s hair and dress him in “rags” of green and Brown. To achieve a more truthful image, add twigs, artificial leaves, a few fungi, you can even birds. Such a suit will appeal to both a bully and a quiet one.

Much more from work. You will need black jeans and a turtleneck, plain white paper, black gloves, a crown, a sword, and a heavy gold chain. Cut out bones from paper and decorate clothes with them. Do you remember how scary Koschey seemed to us in childhood? Now look at your son, something seems to be missing. Of course, we forgot to paint his face!

Brave and courageous boy

It is very easy to make a hunter's costume for children's carnival (you can use Robin Hood). The carnival outfit will look unusual and noble, this image will suit absolutely all boys.

The costume consists of several parts. First, you need a hat, the floors of which need to be pasted over with fur or decorated with feathers. Secondly, prepare the necessary clothes: a shirt, a vest (it can be sewn from fabric for sheepskin coats) and pants. Thirdly, boots are needed, preferably made of leatherette, Czechs are sewn to them. And most importantly - a hunting bag with a trophy.

Carnival accessories

A carnival children's costume will perfectly complement the costume with a voluminous mask that you can make with your own hands. Measure the face of the child, prepare plasticine. On the modeling board, put the appropriate measurements, figure out how you would like to see the future mask, and start creating a fabulous face.

When both you and your baby like the result, move on to the next step. Take an old newspaper and tear it into small pieces, smear the plasticine face with oil, and stick several layers of scraps of paper on top. Let the mask dry a little. Subsequent layers are glued to PVA glue. When the mask is thick enough, you need to stick a clean white paper and leave to dry. After about a week, remove the face from the plasticine base and paint it with bright colors.

To turn a child into a magical creature with the body of a lion, the head and wings of an eagle, you will need:

  • beige or yellow jacket and pants - this will be the body of a lion;
  • fabric and threads of brown or beige for the tail;
  • two pieces of felt or fleece for the wings and chest: one is lighter, the other is darker;
  • cardboard and paint for the mask;
  • glue;
  • stapler.

To make a ponytail, roll the fabric into a tube and glue the edge. Then sew or attach a thread tassel with a stapler suitable color. After that, the tail can be sewn to the pants.

To make wings, draw a pattern on paper with sharp, ragged feather edges. Then make two more templates for other layers, each narrower than the previous one. Transfer the templates to felt, cut out the wings and sew them together, placing the darker fabric between the lighter layers.

Sew the finished wings to the jacket. Make finger loops at the ends so that the child can flap his wings and they are constantly in motion, and not hanging behind his back.

Using the same principle, make feathers on the chest from three layers of fabric.

You will need:

  • wide-brimmed straw hat;
  • fabric glue;
  • stuffing for toys;
  • red and white fabric: red felt or plain cotton can be used for the outside of the hat, white cotton or crepe is suitable for the inside;
  • white lace.

Cut out a circle from the red fabric and sew it to the top of the hat, leaving room for the filler and a hole through which you will put it. Stuff the hat, evenly distributing the filling so that it takes the shape of a mushroom. Evenly distribute the filler inside the mushroom cap, and then sew up the hole.

Sew white fabric on the inside of the hat so that it resembles mushroom plates. Next to the head, sew several layers of lace, like a fringe around the leg of the fly agaric.

Despite the fact that the era of the Middle Ages has long become history, the desire to be knights among modern representatives of the stronger sex is still great. Of course, what boy does not want to become a skilled warrior who is able to protect his "kingdom" from huge dragons, treacherous conquerors and other misfortunes? School performances and matinees in kindergarten- a suitable occasion to dress your son in baby suit medieval knight, hand-sewn. Special skills are not required for this. It is enough to arm yourself with the materials necessary for needlework and desire!

We will need:

  • piece of velvet or velor;
  • lining fabric;
  • wide braid;
  • golden satin;
  • cardboard;
  • dragon template;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • colored paper.
  1. To create a pattern for a knight costume, you will need a raglan that is currently fully sized for your child. Attach it to a piece of velvet folded in half. Pins can be used to prevent slipping. Carefully circle the raglan with chalk, leaving one or two centimeters at the edges for an allowance. Cut out the tunic (no sleeves needed!). When unfolded, it will be a rectangle with a cutout in the middle (neckline). The lower edges of the tunic can be cut in the form of large teeth. If the fabric of your choice crumbles on the cuts, then this should not be done. To make the knight's carnival costume for a boy more dense, sew a lining fabric cut according to a similar pattern to the back of the tunic.
  2. To decorate the costume of a knight in which New Year a child will flaunt, cut out a cross from the satin - one of the symbols of chivalry, and sew it in the center of the front of the tunic. On the sides, you can make a decoration from the braid. The same braid will serve as a belt. Treat the edges of the tunic and its neck with a hidden seam. So that the floors of the tunic do not scatter, you can sew garters on the sides from the wrong side.
  3. Now about how to make a shield for a knight costume that will complement the image. To do this, you need a sheet of thick cardboard, from which a circle should be cut. You can also use the top of the packaging from the cake. If the cardboard is easily deformed, glue several circles of the same diameter. Wrap the base of the shield in foil or metallized paper. Then cut out the details of the coat of arms from colored paper and stick them on the shield. Symbolism can be very diverse! By the way, sewing a knight's costume is an excellent occasion to create your own family coat of arms.
  4. Outline the dragon template with a black marker to make the outlines more pronounced. Then color the dragon in the color you like and cut out the image along the outline.
  5. Glue the resulting part to the center of the shield. If desired, you can decorate the shield with additional knightly symbols. On the back, attach an elastic band so that the child can comfortably hold the shield. For the same purpose, the accessory can be equipped with a strap.
  6. It remains to purchase children's helmet with a visor and a knight's sword - and the carnival outfit for the matinee is ready! If you couldn’t find a finished helmet, you can replace it with an ordinary hat, trimmed with vertical stripes of fabric and decorated with a decorative feather on top.

As you can see, sewing a costume of a medieval knight with your own hands is a simple task. In such an original carnival outfit, your child will feel like a real warrior who can handle everything. And don't forget to take some pictures!
