It is not difficult to perform. And the charming Olga, who sews all the costumes for her niece Masha, will tell and show us the whole manufacturing process.

The Christmas tree costume is quite common for the New Year holidays, because it is the Christmas tree that is the center of every celebration. What is the New Year without it? Traditional round dances around the forest beauty unite all guests and create a great mood.

The costume of Masha, who is only 5 years old, consisted of the main outfit and a cap, in the form of the top of a Christmas tree. In it she went to New Year's celebration in kindergarten.

MATERIALS

• 5 meters of bright green mesh and 3 meters of emerald
• 70 cm green lining fabric
• Linen gum
• Christmas decorations made of plastic and wood
• Thick cardboard
• glue gun

The main outfit consists of three tiers:

• Petticoat (waist to floor) -66 cm;
• Attached to the neck - 33 cm;
• Short, in the form of a skirt - 33 cm.

The lining fabric skirt was cut in the form of a semi-solar with one seam and sat on an elastic band at the waist. The elastic must be measured according to the child, so that it is not loose and does not press. Masha's waist circumference is 50 cm, and Olga cut off 40 cm of elastic. That was enough. Olga decorated the bottom hem with beautiful embroidery in the form of a Christmas tree.

Next, Olga cut the mesh into strips of 30 cm wide and 132 cm long for the lower tier ( long skirt), and for the top 30 cm by 66 cm. Having prepared an elastic band for both tiers, Olga tied knots of mesh strips on elastic bands, alternating colors with each other.

Here is the main outfit!

Now it's up to the cap.

For him, Olga cut out a circle sector from thick paper, rounded edge which was 2 cm larger than the diameter of Masha's head. I folded it into a cone shape and glued it together. Olga processed the lower edge of the cap with a mesh, and then, using a hot gun, she fixed the fabric on the cap, carefully wrapping the edge of the fabric inside the cap.

Then, at different heights, Olga sewed on two tiers of mesh, having previously gathered it by hand. I decorated the top of the cap with three squares, the sides of which are 13 cm. They were fastened as shown in mine.

And in the end, the whole costume was decorated with stars, beads, Christmas decorations and various decorations. Here is our charming and mysterious Christmas tree ready! In my opinion, great work! Olga is great!
