Care for curly hair at home: folk remedies and professional advice. Fluffy, wavy and curly: the right care for dry hair Natural curly hair

Dry curly, wavy or fluffy hair does not look very attractive. They often get tangled and don't fit well. can lead to dandruff. Therefore, it is necessary not only to restore them, to style them beautifully, but also to preserve and maintain the health of the hair all the time.

The scales on the surface of the hair are opened, which leads to fluff. Some people have natural hair like this, but sometimes even healthy curls can suddenly become fluffy.

There is no definite answer to the question of why they become so. This can happen due to excessive electrification of the hairs, lack of water, dehydration.

There are many factors that can provoke unpleasant changes:

  • Negative natural factors.
  • Poor quality of tap water.
  • Poor care or quality of cosmetics.
  • Dehydration of the body.
  • Frequent use of a hair dryer, ironing.
  • Frequent dyeing, perm, lightening.
  • Diseases, stress, lack of sleep.

Fluffiness caused by external factors is not difficult to fix. It is more difficult to correct a feature laid down by genetics.

Dry curly hair: reward or punishment

Curly hair is often dry. Such curls do not curl along the entire length, but starting from the middle or only at the tips. For them, the use of a hair dryer or curling iron is detrimental.

This type of hair is very susceptible to high humidity. Inappropriate does hair "dandelion". This brings a lot of inconvenience to their owner. There are difficulties in creating styling.

But on the other hand, slightly curled strands - it is very romantic and attractive.

Many women struggle to artificially create light curls with a curling iron, while others simply enjoy their natural beauty. You just need to put them on correctly.

About cute curls

It has been found that curly women have about 20 thousand less than women with straight hair. The visual volume of the hairstyle gives the splendor of the curls. The curls are too hard or, on the contrary, soft. This makes them difficult to install. The sebaceous glands that saturate the hair with moisture and nutrients are also less in curly hair.

Therefore, curly curls poorly protected from the negative effects of the environment. Beautiful curls are very easy to harm.

With improper combing, they get confused, the ends split and exfoliate. To ensure the beauty and health of cute curls, you need to know how to properly care for them.

Fluffy hair care

If not properly cared for fluffy hair, they can bring a lot of inconvenience. Execution 10 the following rules will allow you to cope with fluffiness and look irresistible:

  • Buy nourishing and hyaluronic acid balms that smooth the surface of the hair and restore its health.

Acid, like a magnet, is able to attract water and moisturize dry hair. It nourishes the bulbs, relieving dryness and brittleness.

  • When washing your hair, do not rub your hair, otherwise they will begin to frizz even more.

Carefully them at the roots. Lather the shampoo in your palms.

It can dry out your hair a lot, and you will get the opposite effect. Wet them with warm water and rinse with cool water.

  • Do not dry your hair with terry towels.

If you rub hard, you can damage their structure. Use microfiber towels. Gently pat your curls to absorb excess water. This way you won't damage your hair.

  • Take extra care of curls.

Use , elixirs, . Important tip: to determine whether the product makes the strands heavier or not, put a little on your fingertips. Then touch a piece of paper with them. If it does not leave greasy marks, feel free to use it.

  • Don't use a hair dryer without much need.

Better to let the curls dry themselves. Slightly wet hair is allowed to dry with cold air.

  • If you can’t do without a hair dryer, dry the strands from the crown to the tips.
  • Do not use alcohol-containing products: varnishes and sprays.
  • Do not comb with metal and plastic massagers.

Better buy wooden or silicone comb.

  • Choose your hairdresser to help you take care of your hair and give you important tips.

How to care for wavy curls

Wavy hair requires special care. While washing, use balms and masks to moisturize. You can buy special brushes. They need to comb the scalp after applying shampoo to cleanse it and stimulate blood circulation. So the hair stays clean longer.

After application, comb the ends with an infrequent comb. The tool is evenly distributed over the strands, straightens the curls and better moisturizes the dry ends.

For easier combing, spray on wet hair. special remedy. Drying wavy hair is best naturally. If you fix them with hairpins and unfasten them after complete drying, you get an airy romantic hairstyle.

Curly hair care

To make curls your pride, learn how to properly care for them. These tips will help you:

Proper care begins with proper cleansing. Choose a shampoo that suits your hair type. If the remedy does not suit you, dandruff and rashes may appear on your head. Buy only organic products.

Curls most often do not have a natural luster. Help create it cosmetical tools. For example, a conditioner balm or an oil-based spray.

To create beautiful natural curls, use curl products. They are applied to slightly damp hair. Use dry balm to moisturize curls.

Combing curly hair can be very difficult. To facilitate the process, use sprays. With proper care, curls will delight you and those around you with their beauty.

About my hair: dry, porous, thin, naughty, curly, never dyed, 2 times cut under a square.
Color: blond
How many years have I been growing almost 4 years
What length do I want: on this moment 80 cm
Length now: 64 cm

Let's start with the background
As a child, I was very curly and my mother could not comb my hair, because I did not let her do it (it hurt me, because they were always tangled).

I always went to school with braids until the age of 11, as it was the easiest way to pacify my mane (and the hair from the braids was straighter). I washed my hair with regular shampoo, I didn’t have any masks, balms, I combed my hair very hard, I constantly tore it.

And then one day during summer holidays in Tiraspol (because there is a terrible heat), I asked my mother to cut me under the square (I was then about 11 years old). This was a terrible mistake! I still regret it. It's a pity there are no photos. At the time, I didn’t realize how beautiful my hair was. But then I really liked this square, but I liked it so much that a couple of years later I repeated it in my city, but unsuccessfully. Until now, with a shudder, I remember my “stubs” of hair, my tears after this “haircut”. In the photo below, they are already branches of a centimeter by 4-5. So imagine what happened before. Nightmare!

I started hair care only in 2012 at the end of the 2nd year of university. After my ends were trimmed, I went to the pharmacy and bought my first oil - jojoba oil. Then I found out that pharmaceutical oils are not best quality and started ordering them online.
My favorite companies: Workshop of Olesya Mustaeva and Spivak (but they are also not mega-natural).
I started restoring my hair with oils. I tried a ton of oils, it makes no sense to paint everything.
At the moment my favorites are from base oils are:
- coconut oil
- argan oil
-linseed oil
- monoi de tahiti oil
- broccoli oil
-Shea Butter
-cacao butter
- almond oil
- hemp oil
-jojoba oil
Favorite essential oils:
-lavender
-ylang-ylang
-bay (for growth)
-sage
- rosemary (for growth)
- cinnamon (for growth)

Homemade masks
When I started to restore my hair, I did oil masks 3-4 times a week, once a week I always left the mask overnight. Now I do oil masks 2 times a week (and sometimes 1) before washing my hair and that's enough for me.
It is advisable to leave oil masks on all night, but should only be applied to the length.
It is better not to keep such masks on the hair roots for more than 2 hours, as they can clog pores, and as a result, hair loss will increase, they will become oily faster.
IMPORTANT: Essential oils should never be stirred with a metal spoon! Only wooden or, in extreme cases, plastic.
The main thing is to make masks regularly and not be lazy!

1. Mask with coconut oil
We will need: coconut oil

I comb my hair, take a little oil (the melting point of the oil is 25˚), rub it in my palms and apply it to the hair with “squeezing” movements, as if pressing the oil into the hair (I apply only on the length). I comb my hair with a comb so that the oil is better distributed through the hair (this is what I do for all oil masks). Next, I twist my hair into a bun,
I put on a bag, a hat and go to bed (but more often I just braid my hair or make a bun, put a towel on my pillow and sleep like that). I wash everything off in the morning.
IN Lately I only do it.

2. Kefir mask
We will need:
- 1 glass of kefir (preferably fatter)
- 7 drops of lavender essential oil
- 7 drops of sage essential oil
- sometimes I add cocoa
I heat kefir in a water bath (you can heat it in the microwave), add essential oils to it and mix. I apply this mixture to the roots and the entire length of the hair, twist the bun, put on a bag, a hat and walk until I get bored (at least an hour, usually about 3 hours). After I wash everything off with warm water and wash my hair as usual.
P.S. The mask is leaking.

3. Sour cream mask with cocoa
We will need:
- 1 glass of sour cream
- 7 drops of lavender essential oil (or any other essential oil)
- cocoa powder
The principle is the same as with the kefir mask.
I heat sour cream + cocoa in a water bath (you can heat it in the microwave), add essential oils to the mixture and mix. I apply the mask on the roots and length of the hair, twist the bun, put on a bag, a hat (I walk for about 3 hours). After I wash everything off with warm water and wash my hair as usual.
P.S. The mask is leaking.

4. egg mask with honey and aloe
As you know, how well the hair has formed in the bulb, so good hair will be in the future. That is, you need to take good care of the scalp, drink vitamins, so that the hair is initially formed strong and healthy.
We will need:
- aloe pulp (or aloe gel)

- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 yolks
- burdock oil (or any base oil)
- 7 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil
- 6 drops of rosemary essential oil

Mix pulp or aloe gel with honey, yolk, burdock oil, ylang-ylang and rosemary essential oils + vitamins A and E. Apply the mixture to the hair roots, twist the bun, put on a bag and a cap.
I go with her for an hour, then I wash off with warm water and my head as usual.

5. Supermix oils
We will need:
- 2 tablespoons of linseed oil
- cacao butter
- Shea Butter
- almond oil
- hemp oil
- jojoba oil
- walnut oil
-olive oil
- pumpkin seed oil
- essential oil of lavender, sage, rosemary (sometimes I add more patchouli and ylang-ylang)
Melt cocoa butter and shea butter in a water bath, when the mixture cools down (barely warm), add oils there: almond, hemp, jojoba, walnut, olive, pumpkin. We mix everything. Then add lavender, sage, patchouli and ylang-ylang oils (about 5 drops each). Mix again.
Apply to the length of the hair for 2 hours (or better for 3, you can also at night). The mask is very oily, but the effect of it is amazing.

6. Sea buckthorn oil
For nutrition of hair roots I like to make this mask:
- sea buckthorn oil
- rosemary essential oil
- 1 teaspoon of vitamin A and E
I mix everything, apply a mask on the roots (it can also be for a length), put on a bag, a hat and walk for an hour. Then I wash off with warm water and my head as usual.
Carefully, sea buckthorn oil paint very well!

Girls, do not expect miracles from oils after the first application! To have a result, you need to use oils regularly (at least for two to three months). I have been restoring my hair that was killed from poor treatment with oils for a very long time ( over a year for sure). And a small result appeared, personally for me, only after six months! But when I saw him, I was extremely happy. The result was worth all my efforts.
Oils prevent splitting and breakage. It provides, and does not treat, already damaged and split ends. Split hair should only be cut off and nothing else! And only then treat with oils and other means (more on that below)
IMPORTANT! If you have completely dead hair on your head (improper lightening, dyeing, perm, hair burned with an iron, etc.), then NOTHING won't save your hair! There is only one way out - cut off everything and start growing.

7 steps for the beauty of your hair.
Now let's look at what should be the RIGHT care for our hair.
I think many people know, but I still repeat that in the care of any type of hair, it is best to use multi-layer care, in which there should be an emphasis on nutrition(e.g. oils) hydration(products containing: hyaluronic acid, d-panthenol, glycerin, aloe extract, betaine, marine collagen, etc., for example, spray from Librederm), recovery (products containing: proteins, keratin, collagen, elastin, etc., for example, lundenilona 3 in 1 night mask) and hair protection (products that contain: aminopropyl phenyl trimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, etc.) I will soon make a separate review about this.
So, first stage- hair cleansing Shampoos are included.
Second step- mask (balm, conditioner).
Third step- ampoule care.
Fourth step- sprays. They are needed to moisturize, protect hair from the sun, easy combing ...
Fifth step- milk (cream) for hair.
Sixth step- oil (any non-rinse), thermal protection for the ends of the hair.
seventh step- A well-chosen hairbrush.
Below I will describe each step in more detail.

My curly hair care tips:

1. Combing (7th step).
About how to comb properly, I wrote in the article. I don't think I'll repeat myself here.

2. Proper shampooing.
I wash my hair upside down.
I think it's right to wash my hair like this: first, I wet my hair thoroughly with warm water! water, then I pour the shampoo into my palms, lather it and only then apply it to the roots! hair, gently massaging the scalp (foam flows down the hair, do not rub the hair itself!). Then again I pour the shampoo into my palms and repeat the procedure, that is I wash my hair twice(for the first time, dirt, styling products are washed off the hair ...). After that, I thoroughly rinse the hair from the shampoo with warm water, then gently squeeze the water from the hair to apply the mask (balm, conditioner), wait the set time for the mask (balm, conditioner) to work and rinse my hair with cool water (this action closes the hair scales making our hair smooth and shiny).
But if I did oily masks, or styled my hair with a lot of styling products, or if I shampoo my hair deep cleaning(SHGO), then carefully distribute the foam along the length of the hair.
IMPORTANT! You can not wash your hair with hot water, as the sebaceous glands on our head begin to work actively, and the hair will very quickly become greasy, and may still lose its shine.
Wash your hair only when it gets dirty!

2.1. Shampoos. (1st step)
My Shampoo Requirements:
First, and most importantly, they should clean the hair well.
Second, should not exacerbate existing problems.
Third, suit my scalp type.
fourth, There should be a shampoo for every season.
I try to use organic shampoos and alternate them before each wash (my favorites are Amla and Chamomile Solid Shampoo by Olesya Mustaeva Workshop; Organic Tai Frangipani Shampoo;
gel-cream for washing the hair from ChocoLatte "White Grape", "Strawberry", "Citrus").

But, some of my masks contain Amodimethicone. After using these masks (for example, the mask from Angel orange), I wash my hair with professional shampoo.

Amodimethicone does not tend to create strong layers, does not dissolve in water, however, it is completely washed out with shampoos with Lauryl Sulfate (Lauryl Sulfate), Laureth Sulfate (Laureth Sulfate) or Cocamidopropil Betaine (Cocamidopropyl Betaine).

For the summer I bought myself a couple of professional shampoos: shampoo from Angel Professional Solar series and a deep cleansing shampoo (GOSH) also from Angel Professional, which I will use once a month, since I use masks with silicones.
GOSH (or SHGO) - designed for deep cleansing of hair from various contaminants accumulated in them. If your hair is oversaturated with masks and other care products (varnishes, foams ...), hang like icicles, become dull, then you simply need a deep cleaning shampoo. Regular shampoos only surface contaminants are washed out, and the dirt inside the hair continues to accumulate.

2.2. Masks, balms, conditioners. (2nd step)
Now I use professional masks for length, and organic masks for roots (I used to love exclusively organic care, it restored my hair very well, but now it has become too long (64 cm), it lacks moisture and protection from organics. Therefore, about 1 5 years ago I switched to prof).
IMPORTANT! No need to climb into the mask with wet hands (since taking a bath or shower, water gets into the mask), it is better to use wooden spoon or spatula, or try to wipe your hands.
My favorite professional masks:
A) Hair mask Angel Professional Instant recovery with Argan oil;

b) Hair mask ANGEL Professional Nutritious cream for hair;

V) Cream-mask for hair Brelil NUMERO with oats

G) Masks from Kaaral (Hydra and with royal jelly - took for bottling)

My favorite organic masks
A) Sunlight cream mask Minoxidil 1% burdock oil + tea tree with sea buckthorn (and other cream masks of this series) - stimulates hair growth due to the content of minoxidil in it - I apply it to the roots;

b) Balm-conditioner for hair Workshop of Olesya Mustaeva with broccoli oil - I put on the length.

I also really like the Angel Professional MARINE DEPTH SPA CONDITIONER hair conditioner.
I apply masks (balms, conditioners) like this: after washing my hair 2 times, I gently wring out (do not twist) the hair to remove excess moisture, which will prevent the mask (or conditioner) from absorbing well (you can wrap them in a towel that absorbs this excess moisture), and then apply organic mask on the roots, and a professional mask on the length. I withstand the necessary time, rinse with cool water (I repeat, cool in order to close the hair scales).
I wash my head 2 times a week at night (but sometimes for important events so that the curls lie better in the morning). The first time (Wednesday) I apply a mask for the length, and the second time (Sunday) I apply conditioner. I apply an organic mask on the roots every time.
After every shampoo, I try to rinse my hair with herbs.
My favorite: sage, chamomile, nettle, linden, mint.

3. Ampoule care. (3rd step)

Even if the hair is in excellent condition, it needs special care. Modern cosmetology offers ampoules for hair restoration. As a rule, multi-component care products contain a whole range of useful amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Such a "cocktail" of nutrients not only strengthens, but also penetrates deep into the hair structure.
Ampoule care - although rare, but indispensable care for my hair. With it, the hair just comes to life! I use ampoules every two weeks.
I tried only 3 ampoules (from Selective, Dikson and Lakme). The last ones I liked the most.

How to use the ampoule from Lakme
I use the ampoule after shampoo, I apply the product for 15 minutes on damp hair wrung out with a towel. When you pour the product into the palm of your hand, you immediately feel the warming effect. You need to pour very carefully so as not to spill. The oil must be carefully distributed along the entire length of the hair (retreat about 15 centimeters from the roots), whip the foam with “bumping” movements (be sure to beat until foam, otherwise there will be no result! Checked!) The oil foams very well.
After I apply conditioner (or balm). I keep it for 5-10 minutes and wash it off with a cold one! water. The procedure is carried out once every two weeks and I think this is sufficient for my hair.
As a result, my hair is soft, silky, supple and very well hydrated.
Result from ampoules + comprehensive care

4. Hair drying
After I washed my hair (item 2 ), I wrap my hair with a towel (like a turban) and walk like this for a minute or two (no more 5 ) to absorb excess moisture.
Then I gently unroll the "turban" and gently dab my hair, don't rub them.
Advice: If you blow dry your hair, then dry it better with cold air using a diffuser attachment and be sure to apply thermal protection (and if you straighten your hair, thermal protection will help you, without it there is a risk of severely damaging your hair)! This is my personal opinion.

5. Leave-in products (4th, 5th and 6th steps) and hair styling
When the hair dries a little (they are not wet, but wet!), I either comb them with a Tangle Angel comb (if I wash my hair in the morning),

either I divide my hair into two tails (I do this at night), as if I'm going to weave two braids, I spray the tips and length of the hair with a spray (for example, Librederm - 4th step) and apply indelible products on them first for a length (for example, cream - 5th step), then on the tips (for example, CHI leave-in 6th step). Then I tilt my head down and begin to "pin" the hair to help the curls form better. I sleep with this “hairstyle” on my head.
Since it’s hard to see, I explain: I tilt my head down, put my hair through the elastic, as if I’m going to tie my tail, make one turn, and don’t stick my hair through the second turn of the elastic. According to this principle, a hair bow is woven from hair.
In the morning, I just gently untie it, lightly moisten my hair with water, “squeeze” my hair and get fresh and beautiful curls. This is the only way I style my hair.
If during the day the hairs begin to fluff, then I simply smooth them with water, or spray them with a spray.
Besides cream and leave-in, I don’t style my hair with anything (with these two products, my hair already lies well), because I’m afraid that such products as mousse, gel, will dry my hair or stick it together, but I still want to try the foam from Angel ).
I will give below An example of my favorite leave-in products.

Leave-in products for length
A) Angel Professional Paris Nourishing Algae Hair Cream (leave-on) is my favorite;

b) MoltoBene hair milk is also a wonderful tool.
V) Cream from Londa - for the summer to protect hair from the sun
Leave-in products for hair ends
A) CHI Silk Infusion Revitalizing Hair Treatment;

b) Argan oil for hair with gold particles Tahe Keratin gold. I have it recently, but I have already managed to fall in love with it;
V) Dancoly Angel Professional Revitalizing Hair Oil;
None of these products dry out my hair.

Hair sprays
A) Fluid hair conditioner Librederm Hyaluronic;
b) Moisturizing serum KAPOUS DUAL RENASCENCE 2 phase;
V) Spray Angel from the Sunscreen series
They perfectly moisturize the hair.

Hair after complex care:

6. Hairpins.
I use rubber bands, wires, they are very comfortable and do not tear my hair.

7. Hair Growth Products
Since my hair grows very slowly, I stimulate hair growth with masks.

homemade remedies

1. Homemade burdock oil
I never liked burdock oil in a pharmacy, so I decided to cook it myself, because it's so easy!
For its preparation we need:
- burdock roots
-mustard oil
- calamus roots
Mustard oil is poured into a jar in which you will infuse your oil. Then we pour burdock roots and calamus roots into it (how much to pour depends on your jar, I poured about 2 tablespoons into my eye), shake the jar so that the roots are completely in oil and put it all in a warm place for 10 days. After 10 days, filter the oil and you can smear the hair roots.

2. Nettle oil
For its preparation we need:
- nettle leaves
- mustard oil (or olive oil)
It is done in the same way as burdock oil:
Mustard oil is poured into a jar in which you will infuse your oil. Then we pour nettle leaves into it, shake the jar so that the leaves are completely in oil and put it all in a warm place for 10 days. After 10 days, filter the oil and you can smear the hair roots.

3. Mustard mask
This well-known mask helps hair growth very well, as it bakes the scalp perfectly. But it must be used carefully, it can burn the skin, as well as dry the hair.
To prepare this mask, we need:
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- 1 tablespoon of sugar (if the mustard does not bake, you can add 2 tablespoons)
- nettle decoction (by eye)
- 1 yolk
- 1-2 tablespoons of burdock (mustard) oil

nettle decoction, mustard powder and mix sugar until a homogeneous, not too liquid consistency, then add oils and yolk and apply strictly on the roots. Be sure to generously lubricate the length of the hair with oils, otherwise the mustard will dry out all the hair! Then we put on a bag, a hat and walk like this for 15-30 minutes (depending on how it bakes) or even less, look at your feelings (if it bakes a lot, don’t stand it, otherwise you will burn your scalp, dandruff may appear!). Rinse off not with hot water, but with lukewarm water, otherwise there will be a fire on the head.
Carefully, try not to get on the face, or in the nose, or in the eyes while washing off this mixture! It is better to make a mask in courses (for example, 1 month, 1 time per week).

4. Scrub for the scalp with essential oils
We will need:
- finely ground sea salt
-6 drops of bay essential oil
-5 drops of rosemary essential oil
-clay
I mix all the ingredients and gently scrub the scalp before washing the hair (I always apply oil to the lengths and tips so that the salt does not dry them out).
Why am I adding clay?
If you scrub your scalp with just salt with the addition of essential oils, the salt falls off a lot (maybe someone is lucky and everything is in order), and when I add clay, everything is perfectly applied. Clay is also very useful for hair.
Salt scalp scrub:
- accelerates hair growth (as blood circulation of the scalp improves);
- prevents hair loss;
- hair after it is less oily;
- removes dead cells;
- cleanses the scalp.

5. Pepper mask
We will need:
- tincture of capsicum
- hair balm (natural, without sls)
Such a mask is applied only to the roots, it is necessary to apply an oil mask to the length, since pepper can dry the hair, I put on a bag and a hat on top. The scalp should be well baked. I usually go with it for about an hour, then gently wash it off with warm water, then my head as usual. Her, as well as mustard mask, it is better to do courses.

6. Mask with essential oil of cinnamon (or bay)
We will need:
- essential oil of cinnamon (or bay)
- base oil (burdock, mustard, sea buckthorn)
We drip about 5-6 drops of cinnamon essential oil (or about 10 drops of bay ether) into the base oil, stir and apply to the scalp. Carefully! Cinnamon is very strong! It’s better to start adding, for example, 3 drops of cinnamon ether, and then, if it’s bad to bake, increase the number of drops. I keep it for about half an hour (sometimes an hour), wash it off.

Purchasable funds

1. Minoxidil

I have been using Minoxidil recently (since April 2016). I put it on clean skin head (no more than 18-22 clicks) 1 time per day and do not wash off.
Outcome: many small hairs appeared.
But recently I abandoned it, as the roots with this tool are more oily.

2. Mask Russian field with pepper
Everyone knows the mask.

I put it on the roots, and for the length of the oil mask, for warming I put on a bag, then a hat. The mask can be heated with a hair dryer. I go with it for an hour, then I wash it off with water and my head as usual.

8. Hair cutting, hot scissors
I go to the hairdresser every six months (I advise you to cut your hair as needed), but at home I regularly cut myself with flagella once a month to remove all the cut. I think there is no need to explain that split hair cannot be glued together, they only need to be cut off. If you do not cut your hair, then the split hair will only become more, the hair will break off, the length will stand still.
Therefore, the most successful option is a haircut with flagella, because the split hairs are removed both at the length and at the tips and the hairs grow further, the length is added.
Recently went for a procedure: hair cutting with hot scissors. I liked it very much. First, they straightened my hair, then cut the length and ends of the hair with flagella. This is much better than I cut myself at home, because on straight hair the cut is clearly visible, and on curly hair it is almost invisible. The hair was insanely soft and smooth. Now I will always go to her.
But there are a couple But:
1) they didn’t wash my hair and didn’t put on any masks before the procedure, but this should be done (but I knew about it, I just warn you in advance);
2) before straightening, they did not apply any thermal protection to my hair and steam came from them. But this is a serious omission!

I think I will look for another master and before signing up, I will ask him what and how he will do.

9. Vitamins for hair
Every day (morning and evening) I take linseed oil. I also plan to buy other oils (cedar, pumpkin) and drink them every day.
I also took vitamins Perfectil, I liked them, but my aunt scared me that her friend (also a hair maniac) planted them in her stomach, and I decided to stop drinking them.
Since June I have been taking vitamins from Amway - NUTRILITE Double X with vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.

Sometimes I drink a course of vitamin pentovit. By the fall, I plan to buy vitamins for hair, skin and nails 21st Century Health Care Biotin at Eicherb or vitamins for hair, skin and nails Silettum.

10. Aroma combing.
I rarely do aroma combing, but I really like to do it with lavender essential oil.
I do it like this: I put a few drops of essential oil on a wooden comb (or bone) and carefully, and most importantly, carefully, comb my hair for at least 5 minutes (it is advisable not to touch the roots). Aroma combing is done only on clean hair(not smeared with anything!). It is advisable to ventilate the room before and after the procedure.
IMPORTANT! Before using an oil, make sure that you are not allergic to it and that you enjoy the smell of it.
Aroma combing should be done with natural essential oils (I like essential oils from Olesya Mustaeva's Workshop, sometimes I take them from Spivak, although even they are not very natural). But the essential oils from the pharmacy are definitely not natural.
I plan to buy myself a lot of delicious oils and take this matter seriously.
That's what I try to do head massage every day.

Some more nuances
- Proper nutrition - pledge healthy hair! And their nutrition starts from within. Try to eat more healthy foods.
- Alcohol (smoking) - the enemy of your hair. It deprives your hair (of course, and not only them) of nutrition, shine.
- Need to get enough sleep.
- Drink 1.5-2 liters of water per day.

The difference in length between curly and straight hair is 11 centimeters (plus or minus a couple of centimeters. It all depends on the styling). Now, the length of my hair - 64 centimeters(in direct form), and in curly - about 53 centimeters.
This is how our curls "steal" the length

My mistakes in caring for curly hair:
1. Combing.
-Everyone knows that curls cannot be combed, as there will be fluff. And after all, I combed them and collected them in a tail until the 2nd year of the university. Horror.
- I used a bad comb, which simply simply tore my hair.
2. Wrong washing.
-I lathered the entire length of my hair, and I did not rub the shampoo in my palms, but poured it immediately on my head.
- I rubbed my hair along the entire length, roughly massaged the scalp with my nails.
Outcome: hair dried up, began to split strongly.
3. Drying hair with a towel.
Never rub your hair with a towel! From this, they are very confused, damaged and begin to split.
4. Do not let your hair dry out.
Before my hair care, I did not think about any sprays, masks and other things for moisturizing. Curly hair is dry hair.
5. Combing wet hair.
I used to comb my wet hair, and comb it with combs that tore out clumps of my hair. Remember, wet hair should not be combed! But wet hair, with moisturizers applied to them, is possible, which I sometimes do.
6. Hairdryer, iron, curling iron.
I always dry my hair in a natural way, I use a hair dryer very rarely (when I'm in a hurry somewhere and only with cold air), I straightened my hair with an iron in the salon once in my life, when I cut it with flagella. The pad has never been used.
7. Rubber bands, hairpins.
- You can not use elastic bands with iron inserts, they tear your hair! Also, tight rubber bands should not be used.
8. Paint
I have never dyed because I think it is bad for curls (until I have gray hair, I definitely won't do it). But someday I will have to do this, and then I will use only good professional paints.

Well, a couple more tips:
1. Never do keratin straightening. It is very damaging to the hair! (My personal opinion)
2. Choose a hairdresser very carefully (preferably one who knows how to work with your hair type). I think many have read about the cases that the hairdresser, instead of a centimeter of hair, cut off 5 centimeters (it's still lucky for anyone). So that this does not happen to you, you need a proven master with light hand. Either cut your own hair (I often cut my hair with flagella) or ask relatives.
3. Do not sleep with loose hair, as they are very tangled (it is better to collect them in a "pineapple" or in a braid).
My advice is mine personal experience and i just share it with you
I have been writing this review for a very long time and I hope you find it useful!

Hello readers of my blog. If you are the owner of wavy or curly curls, then you must have at least once wondered: how to make them please with their beautiful healthy look? In this article, you will learn about proper care behind wavy hair, as well as about all its features.

What to use

Wavy hair has a porous structure, because of this, it is most often dry and brittle. Therefore, choose products for dry hair, and if your roots are often oily, then give preference to products marked "for oily at the roots and dry at the tips." Shampoos should be taken without sulfates and parabens.

Moisturizing is an indispensable item for wavy hair. Don't forget to do it. For overdried curls, choose care products with jojoba oil, coconut oil, lotus extracts. For thin hair it is better to buy products containing extracts of sage, horseradish or papain.

Washing and care

Haircut and coloring

A common problem with wavy strands is split ends, so visit the hairdresser about once every three months. Split ends make hair visually unkempt and there is no other way to get rid of them except for a haircut. It is better to cut your hair with hot scissors, so you can prevent their further delamination.

Paint harms not only wavy, it harms all types of hair. It disrupts the activity of the sebaceous glands, as a result of which the hair becomes drier, brittle. Therefore, it is better to abandon ammonia paints in favor of natural dyes - henna or basma.

Curly hair is especially prone to dryness.. Due to the heterogeneous wavy structure, the sebaceous secret is distributed unevenly along the length of the hair, the ends are deprived of protection and nutrition.

Oily scalp and roots combined with dry breaking ends is a common occurrence among owners of curly curls.

In this case, special attention should be paid to:

  • moisturizing;
  • damage protection;
  • proper washing;
  • dryness prevention.

With improper care, such hair becomes fluffy, porous and naughty, and their ends are thinning due to cutting and breaking. It is necessary to restore the internal structure of the hair, smooth out irregularities and fill the porosity with special means.

Useful Procedures

Home treatments for curly dry hair include: use of masks and head massage. Masks should be done at least once a week. The purpose of the mask is to nourish and restore the hair, penetrating deeply into their structure.

The mask will bring the greatest benefit if you keep it on your head for at least half an hour, and at the same time warm your head. Heat increases blood circulation, so that the roots are nourished especially intensively.

Don't forget to read the instructions- Some masks are designed for five minutes of application, it does not make sense to keep them on your head for hours. In such masks, the concentration of nutrients is increased, and you risk getting the opposite effect if you overdo it.

Head massage is good because it promotes the supply of nutrients to the hair follicles. For greater effectiveness of the procedure, apply to the fingertips. vegetable oils(burdock, olive, linen, peach).

You can do massage before each hair wash, in the process of washing or at any free time.

Salon treatments are more varied than home treatments.. What applies to them?

  1. lamination. A special composition is applied that forms a protective film on each hair.

    They acquire volume and shine, become more obedient. It takes several sessions, the effect lasts about two months.

  2. Glazing. A procedure similar to lamination, only a special nourishing and protecting glaze is applied to the hair, which can be colored and colorless.

    The effect is enough for a period of two weeks to one and a half months.

  3. Shielding. The essence of the procedure remains the same - the hair is wrapped in a nourishing shielding compound. The volume of the hairstyle is greatly increased. The therapeutic effect is more pronounced than in the case of lamination and glazing, lasts about a month.

  • oils;
  • sprays;
  • fluids;
  • creams;
  • serum.

Oil complexes

What are the benefits of oils for hair? Let's start with the fact that they are divided into penetrating and covering.

The former seep deep into the hair scales, giving protection from damage during the washing process. It's avocado oil.

The latter form a protective layer on the hair, preventing moisture from leaving them. This, for example, jojoba oil, sunflower, corn. After washing, it is recommended to apply oils of a covering type.

Care complexes contain several types of oils at once, and auxiliary chemicals can be added to them: silicones, proteins, glycerin, and so on. Oils needed apply to dry ends after washing in a small amount.

It is important not to overdo it so as not to create a greasy effect.

Oils are good natural composition and curative effect but they are not very easy to apply.. In addition, you will need to experiment with different types oil complexes, as some of them can weigh down or glue your hair.

The composition includes a conditioner-restorer, as well as other components that are aimed at restoring hair: extracts, proteins, oils, biopolymers, panthenol.

Serum components help to saturate the scalp with oxygen, accelerate hair growth, improve their structure. Some serums are applied to the ends of the hair, while others (for example, directed against hair loss) are applied to the roots.

The most commonly used spray is thermal water or herbal tea. Keratin, oils, silicones, vitamins are added to them. The composition must be sprayed on clean hair (dry or wet - depends on the specific type of spray).

The spray can be used during the styling process, but not with irons and hair dryers, unless it is allowed in the instructions. It envelops the hair, creating a film that prevents moisture loss.

How to wash, dry and comb the strands?

How to care for curly dry hair? Use for washing shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair type. How to choose a shampoo for dry hair read.

Refuse terry towels, microfiber is more suitable in the fight against dryness and brittleness.

You definitely need extra care - masks, serums, elixirs.

Among them, choose products that make the surface of the hair smoother.

Look for hyaluronic acid in the composition, it perfectly fills the hair with moisture and prevents them from breaking.

Replace combs with the right ones - with rare teeth and antistatic effect. You can not use metal and plastic combs, opt for wooden or silicone. For styling, choose products without alcohol, especially for varnishes and sprays.

Now for the washing process.

You need to start washing from the root zone. Pour some shampoo into your hands, lather it up and apply it on your scalp. With gentle movements, without jerking, distribute the foam through the hair.

The tips will have enough of the amount of shampoo that gets on them during rinsing. It is enough to massage your head with shampoo for 3-4 minutes.

note! If you used styling products, you need to wash your hair with shampoo at least two times. If not, one wash will suffice. Avoid hot water as it increases dryness of the scalp and hair.

Now it's time for the mask. After rinsing your hair, wring it out. It is necessary to remove excess moisture before applying the mask - this will do to the hair large quantity nutrients.

Start applying the mask from the tips, gradually move to the roots..

Distribute it with gentle combing movements. You do not need to apply too much mask, the hair should not “float” in it. Keep the mask for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.

Your hair has become smoother, does not tangle, but it is too early to finish washing at this stage, since the hair scales are open and you need to return them to their previous state. For this apply conditioner all over.

Avoid getting the conditioner on the roots, so as not to deprive the hair of volume.

At the end of washing, rinse your head with cool water. Then squeeze out excess moisture and wrap your head with a towel for about five minutes.

Do not rush to comb after washing. When wet, the hairs become more vulnerable, easily break off and tear out. First comb them with your hands, then grab the comb.

If you are blow-drying your hair, start at the root zone. Direct the hair dryer from top to bottom. Dry your hair with slightly cool air, never hot.

Warm air enhances the effect of the mask or serum. It is better to switch to drying in a natural way, without a hair dryer, as the thermal effect breaks the hair structure.

Dryness Prevention

To prevent your hair from suffering from dryness, it is not enough just to take care of them. You will have to make changes in your lifestyle and engage in healing the body.

What should be done:

  • include in your diet foods rich in vitamins A, E, group B;
  • protect your head from the wind, cold, scorching sun;
  • less use of a hair dryer, ironing, curling iron;
  • avoid stress.

Cut dry hair at least once every three months, in order to get rid of . Cutting with “hot scissors” is especially effective.

Don't forget to massage your head at least once a week. You can do massage on your own, or you can take a course with a beautician once every six months.

Attention! If, despite all efforts, the hairstyle gets worse and worse, it makes sense to consult a doctor: a general practitioner, an endocrinologist, a trichologist. The deplorable condition of the hair and scalp can indicate diseases internal organs and hormonal imbalance.

The fight against dry curly hair is a difficult and long task, but it is quite feasible. Don't stop at just one way to hydrate and restore. The most effective will be an integrated approach, including taking care not only of the hair, but also of the state of the body as a whole.

Curly hair care and care products - in two parts:

Many girls dream of elastic curls-springs, believing that caring for them comes down to banal washing and blow-drying. However, this is not at all the case. In fact, curly hair is often more capricious than straight hair. At any opportunity, they strive to get confused, electrified and simply turn into a shapeless "nest". So how do you take care of curly hair? Experts advise to adhere to the following simple rules.

1. Due to the structural features (porous structure, cuticle scales unevenly adjacent to each other), curly curls are usually dry by nature. Hence their constant desire to break and fluff. Therefore, the main point of care for such hair is hydration and nutrition. Choose shampoos and conditioners for curly hair. If there are none in the line of your favorite brand, feel free to take funds for dry ones. Make regenerating and nourishing masks regularly. These products must contain one of the following components: phospholipids, ceramides, keratin, collagen, as well as natural oils shea, macadamia, jojoba, etc.

2. The good news is that curly hair can be washed once a week. They do not wrap around the scalp as tightly, and their contact with the fat layer is limited. But drying curly hair should be done with extreme care. It is best to let them dry on their own. Wrap a towel around your head and lightly blot your hair with it to absorb moisture after washing. Do not rub your head with a towel and never comb wet hair.

3. To create a beautiful neat curl, apply nourishing oil, leave-in conditioner or serum to damp hair from the middle of the length. Spread the product with your hands and form curls by twisting the hair around your finger.

4. Hairdryer and straighteners are a serious test for curls. Try to use them as little as possible. In extreme cases, set the temperature as low as possible and be sure to use a product with thermal protective properties. Subject to these rules, the question "How to care for curly hair" will bother you much less often.

5. A typical mistake many girls make is taking too much styling or care product. They often stretch and weight the strand, turning it into an unattractive icicle.

6. Is your hair frizzy and electrified? Get an anti-frizz serum. It can be used after shampooing or throughout the day as needed.

7. You follow all the above points, but the question of how to care for curly hair is still unanswered for you? Maybe it's all about the bad haircut. Not all masters are able to work with curly curls. But they are not recommended to be milled or trimmed with a razor. Pros work with curly strands dry - the only way to predict how the haircut will look. In any case, give up short bangs and try not to cut the top layer of hair short. There is a risk of turning into a poodle.

8. On curls, split ends are more noticeable. Therefore, they need to be regularly oiled with nutrients and trimmed every three months. Regular visits to the salon are an important point in solving the problem of how to care for unruly curly hair.

9. Most stylists recommend less combing curly hair or using a rare comb for this. natural materials(it does not electrify curls). But brushes with thick bristles push strands, so they can be removed away.

10. As we already wrote, curly hair is usually very dry. So it is better to avoid aggressive stainingso as not to injure the strands even more. If you really want to change the color, choose natural dyes or stop at light highlighting.
