Master class: "Cockerel - a golden comb." craft from waste material

Snezik Alena Alexandrovna
Place of work: MBDOU "Anniversary Kindergarten No. 19" Zhuravushka "Totemsky district, Vologda region
Description of work: This material can be useful in the work of educators, both in direct educational activities, and for decorating a subject-developing environment in a group or on a walking area, as well as in gaming activity children; It will be useful for parents to engage in leisure time of the child.
Target: Making a toy - a cockerel from waste material.
Tasks:
- introduce the option of crafting a cockerel from waste material.
- develop fine motor skills.
- to cultivate perseverance, accuracy, patience, love for the world around.
Materials:
- a large or small capsule from under the Kinder - surprise;
- multi-colored patches of leatherette,
- colorful tape
- sponge for washing dishes,
- a pair of ready-made eyes,
- super glue and New Year's tinsel.
Material options: instead of a capsule from a kinder - surprise, you can use a capsule from a chupa - chups, or another junk object of an oval, cylindrical shape. I had a camera from a broken water pistol. Manufacturing is similar. Instead of adhesive tape, you can use multi-colored electrical tape or the same leatherette. Eyes are sold in the store, but you can make your own from the materials mentioned above. You can also not use a sponge if you make the legs of a rooster from leatherette. To decorate a cockerel, you can take feathers, multi-colored paper, self-adhesive paper. I took materials that would not get wet, as I was doing crafts to decorate the site.
Tools: scissors, pencil or pen for tracing templates. I cut out the details without using templates, so I didn't use a pencil.

Petya, Petya, cockerel!
Golden comb!
Come to our garden soon
And please all the guys!

Progress:

1. We prepare all the necessary materials and tools.

2. We take our camera (in my case) or a capsule from a kinder surprise. I will call it base.

3. We prepare plastic eyes and glue.

4. Gently glue the eyes to the top of our base.

5. Cut out a rhombus-shaped beak from red leatherette (or circle and cut according to the template).

6. Glue our beak in the middle just below the eye.

7. Cooking tinsel for the scallop. We fold several times, forming a scallop.

Since I had a hole in the base, I inserted the comb into the hole, after smearing it with glue. In the case of another base, the scallop is simply glued at the very top. You can glue the cockerel eyebrows in the shape of triangles from colored tape for decoration.

8. Next, cut out the wings from the leatherette. I took Brown color, but you can choose any other. I cut it out without a template, in the form of a sheet, folding a 9 * 12 leatherette rectangle in half. Started with a wide rounding, narrowing towards the end.

9. Glue the wings to the base from the sides. The position may be different. The wings can be lowered, directed forward or backward. It all depends on your idea and imagination!

10. We decorate the wings with adhesive tape or other materials. To do this, you can cut the "leaves" smaller different colors. The adhesive tape is not cut very neatly, so I recommend using self-adhesive colored paper.

11. According to the template, we cut out the cockerel's beard from leatherette and decorate it. Glue to the base below the beak.

12. Next, we put our cockerel on its legs. To do this, cut out the legs in the form of two triangles from a sponge for washing dishes. The size should be proportional to your base. Or use a template. The bases from under the kinder stand well on leatherette legs. Glue at the very bottom of the base.

Here is our cock ready-
Golden comb!
You can safely play with him
Don't let him get bored!
If it gets boring,
Here we will help him:
Let's make him a girlfriend -
Our chicken - Pestrushka!
And a flock of kids
Everything is not boring now!

To make a chicken, we use the same steps, but decorate in a different way. I caught my eye with a hair tie, which I glued to the base. It can also be hairpins, bows, etc. The base is made of a large capsule from Kinder Surprise.

There are also a lot of options for making and decorating chickens!

This and cocktail tubes, and threads for knitting, and other materials. They are made of multi-colored capsules from chupa - chups.

The image of your crafts depends only on you and your imagination! Keep it up, you will succeed!

Despite its simplicity and cheapness, paper is one of the most interesting materials for crafts and creativity, because you can make so many different beautiful things from it with your own hands: appliqués, flat and voluminous origami figures, whole quilling paintings, luxurious panels and much more.

In addition, there are so many varieties of paper and such a diverse range of colors that with its help any creative ideas and ideas will certainly be able to find their embodiment.

Try to start with the manufacture of not very complex products. For example, with some variation of the image of a cockerel.

What can he be?

Many master classes are devoted to creating a cockerel out of paper with your own hands. You can make it in a variety of ways, depending on what kind of image is expected, as well as on the purpose of making this product:

  • if a child needs crafts in kindergarten, then help him do the application with his own hands. To do this, you just need to print out the template, cut out its details, and then use them to make the same elements, but from colored paper. Glue all the details on the cardboard to make a cockerel. Complete the application - draw or also make grass and flowers out of paper, a sunny sky, grains for a rooster, you can even create a whole family by adding a hen and chickens to it. It will turn out very nice if you take thick, shiny or velvet paper. You can decorate the craft with sparkles;

  • the appliqué can also be experimental - for example, try gluing details from feathers and corrugated paper onto a blank of a cockerel figurine, but not just like that. If you dip the color corrugated paper into a bowl of water and rinse it a little there, then the water will be colored, and the paper will get interesting and divorced - this will add originality to the applications and make the craft unique;

  • Another one interesting option do-it-yourself applications - make a lot of blanks from children's palms circled on paper, then cut them out and randomly glue the cockerel to the blank-body, adding some more elements;

  • with small children, it is easy to make a voluminous cockerel with your own hands, which will become a wonderful character in paper puppet theater productions and come in handy for staging various fairy tales. To make it, you will also need a template from which you will need to cut out the details. The base and body of such a cockerel will be a cone (it needs to be glued), and a cylinder-shaped head will be attached to it. Bend the rectangles along the fold lines, and form the wings, tail, scallop and beak from the stripes. Glue all the details (see assembly diagram);

  • it is even easier to make a figurine from paper cone- cut and glue a cone out of colored paper, and glue eyes, a beak (a folded triangle), a comb, feathers and a tail from many stripes, as well as accordion legs to it;

  • very peculiar crafts are obtained in the technique of simple and modular origami, the rooster will be described below;

  • using the paper-plastic technique, you can also make interesting modular figures with your own hands - for this you will need a diagram and a template, according to which you need to cut and glue the parts, and then model a cockerel figure;
  • if you have at least minimal skills in the quilling technique, you can create entire paintings and panels. The easiest way is to use a ready-made bird template, on which you just need to attach multi-colored shapes. For the manufacture of more complex products, you can see a special master class. Some masters even combine various techniques, for example, the body and head of a rooster are made of paper pulp or papier-mâché, and the tail, scallop, wings and other details are made using the quilling technique (“droplet” element);

  • similar to quilling, it will turn out to make a cockerel from corrugated tubes twisted from multi-colored corrugated paper;

  • beautiful and original figurines can be made from the same papier-mâché and even from paper egg trays.

Making a cockerel using origami technique

  1. A beautiful cockerel is quite easy to get after some manipulations with a square sheet of paper. Mark the fold lines and fold the sheet diagonally. Then bend the corners of the inflection lines.
  2. Bend about half of the paper figure back and fold it on both sides.
  3. Bend the top corner up and in, and then turn the pleat inside out.
  4. Then the upper corner is bent to the right and again inward, and the fold is first inward and backward, and then inward and forward. After that, the corners are bent from both sides into the figure.

To make a modular cockerel, you will first need to make separate modules for it (about four hundred pieces), and then connect them together.

We make a cockerel from paper egg trays

  1. To make an original and beautiful cockerel from paper egg trays, take the tray, disassemble it into cells and cut out, as it were, individual tulips.
  2. Then glue together using thin paper.
  3. Cut out a cockerel beard from the tray and make a beak.
  4. Prepare cardboard blanks and start gluing feathers in rows from small to large.
  5. Belly cockerel do this: balloon cover with scraps of newspaper and white paper. When it dries, cut it into two parts (they do not have to be equal).
  6. Take the larger one and put the smaller one in it. Start assembling the cockerel by attaching the wings, tail, paws and muzzle with all the details.
  7. Paint the product with mother-of-pearl acrylic paints, changing colors and shades to make the rooster bright and colorful.
  8. To make it stand well and stably, you can attach it to a stand, and decorate the empty top colored eggs or other decor.

  • yarn of raspberry, beige, blue and yellow colors;
  • hook number 3.

Creation of the body step by step:

Step 1. Take a raspberry thread and double knit a chain consisting of 55 air loops. Lock the chain into a ring.

Step 2 From rows 1 to 16, knit with a single crochet.

Step 3 From 17 to 41 rows also a single crochet, but decrease by 2 loops. Pull off the loops that remain working thread. Thread the end of the thread into the product.

To tie a scallop you need:

Step 1. Knit with yellow thread 3 air loops and connect them into a ring. Knit 6 single crochets in the center of the ring. In each subsequent row, double each loop.

Step 2 Next, knit 4 rows with a single crochet. In the next six rows, decrease evenly in 1 loop. You will need to knit three of these details. To make the middle part of the scallop, you need to tie 3 air loops and connect them into a ring. In the center, make 7 single crochets.

Step 3 In the next row, you will have to double each loop and knit 7 single crochets in this way. In the next seven rows, remove evenly 1 loop.

Step 4 All three parts must be combined with each other and knit 1 row with a single crochet. Sew the scallop to the crown of the cockerel.

Beak creation:

Step 1. Tie three air loops with a blue thread and tie them into a ring. In the center of the ring, knit 4 single crochet.

Step 2 Now you should knit 9 single crochets, adding 1 loop in each row.

For making legs:

Step 1. Take a beige thread and make 3 air loops out of it, connecting them into a ring. In the center of the ring you need to knit 6 single crochets. On the next row, double each stitch.

Step 1. Make 4 air loops, then connect them into a ring. In the center of the ring, knit 10 single crochets.

Step 2 First row: single crochet, then 5 air loops (knit the next row through one loop).

Step 3 Second row: in each cell of the previous row, 1 single crochet, 1 half crochet should be connected. double crochet, 1 double crochet, single crochet.

Step 4 According to this principle, tie 3 flowers of beige, yellow and blue.

A diagram that will help you create a cockerel for a New Year's gift is presented in this article. The most important thing to remember is to use large beads. It will make your work even more beautiful and voluminous. Yes, and there will be no such trouble as with small “grains”.

To make a beaded cockerel you will need:

  • green, light green, red, blue, light blue, yellow and orange beads;
  • brass wire about 2 meters;
  • scissors or nippers.

To make this rooster, check out the parallel stringing technique and the “toward” technique. First start with the head, then move on to the body, while doing this, do not forget to braid the wire for future legs. Once you start creating the paws, you need to thread the wire only 1 time. Don't forget to add wires for each pen. Make the blue or light blue feathers the very last.

If you strictly follow the scheme, you will get such a wonderful rooster from which you can make an excellent keychain.

This souvenir is very easy to make, you can even connect children to making it. The creation process will captivate little creators and help them have some fun. To knead the dough, it is better to use a mixer. Thus, you will get a soft, homogeneous mass, pleasant to work with.

  • beak - roll up a small carrot and cut in half;
  • eyes - form two small balls;
  • tail - make 4 drops, connect them together. Draw feathers with a toothpick;
  • wings - roll up a drop, make cuts in it.

You can glue the parts with water or glue.

This cute figurine can become not only a gift, but also a decoration of your festive table.

Toy “Cockerel”

This small toy can be a great present for both relatives and friends.

To make a toy you will need:

  • linen fabric - size 15 by 15 cm;
  • red fabric - size 5 by 20 cm;
  • synthetic winterizer or hallofiber (or other filler);
  • satin ribbons(multi-colored);
  • red threads;
  • jute;
  • threads;
  • scissors;
  • needle;
  • birch branch;
  • wand.

Step-by-step creation of a modular toy:

Step 1. Fold the linen square diagonally.

Step 2 Cut off one of the corners of the resulting triangle. It is in this hole that we will insert the branch.

Step 3 Sew the fabric on both sides, while leaving the place marked with a pencil, not stitched. You will need to push the filler into this hole and insert the stick.

Step 4 Turn the craft right side out and insert the twig into the beak hole.

Step 5 Fasten it tightly and tie the thread, as shown in the photo.

Step 6 Fill the cockerel's body with synthetic winterizer.

Step 7 Insert a stick into the same hole, wrap it tightly with a thread and tie the edge with the rest. Fasten with small knots.

Step 8 Fold a strip of red fabric in half, step back from the middle about 2 centimeters, tie it with a thread and make a knot. This will be the comb.

Step 9 Now you need to fold the long parts of the red stripe narrower and wrap your head around the sides, right under the bird's beard. Now this neck should be tied up with jute.

Step 10 Step back 2 centimeters from the tip of the tail and fasten satin ribbons of different shades with a red thread.

Step 11 From the remnants of these ribbons, you need to form the wings of a rooster.

Step 12 Add eyes and your souvenir is ready!

Such a gift will be not only pleasant, but also practical, because it will be able to keep the teapot warm for a long time.

You can give this bright Petya to your grandmother, sister or mother. We think they will be delighted with such a present.

This warmer is quite easy to sew, so stock up necessary materials and get started.

To make a heating pad you will need:

  • drawing of a warmer rooster;
  • multi-colored fabrics of different textures;
  • satin ribbons;
  • buttons for the eyes;
  • ruffle.

Step 1. Print out a drawing for a warmer rooster on paper. The drawing itself is shown below.

The following details are marked on the drawing:

  1. torso - 6 parts;
  2. head - 2 parts;
  3. scallop - 2 parts;
  4. beak - 2 parts;
  5. beard - 4 parts;
  6. wing - 4 parts;
  7. tail - 2 parts.

Step 2 Staple cockerel

Those parts of the toy that you will sew from plain fabrics, decorate with bright appliqués from pieces of drape, cloth or elegant braid. Act purely at your own discretion, because this is an author's toy and there are no templates in it.

First of all, take hold of the “suit” of the rooster, which consists of six wedges. According to the same pattern, it is worth sewing a heating pad, shaped like a cone. The lining can be made from any filler known to you.

Once you have made the head, attach the eyes with black fabric or buttons. Sew on the comb and beak. Also fill with filler, for example, synthetic winterizer. Sew on the remaining parts of the bird and decorate as you wish.

It is worth noting that this heating pad can be used not only for the kettle, but also for pots and pans. To make it slightly larger than shown in the picture, simply increase the height and width of the wedges.
