Hares for Easter with their own hands. DIY Easter Bunny

Good day to all. It's no secret that very soon it will be Easter - the warmest and most sincere holiday. And it is also filled with special colors, and allows you to gather all your relatives, relatives and loved ones on this day. Let me remind you that this year we celebrate Svetloye Christ's Resurrection we will be April 8th.

If you are a frequent guest of my blog, then you are already fully armed and ready for this event. Because we have already considered the main points in detail: we learned how to bake and cook, too, and we can even creatively approach the design of the house and the table.

But today I have another idea for you. And I want to talk to you about the cute fluffy symbol of the holiday, the Easter bunny (hare). This tradition came to us quite recently, from Germany, but is already gaining momentum and is very popular.

This product can act as an independent gift toy, a souvenir, or be in the form of a stand for dyes or act as a basket for other attributes of the holiday, as well as decorate the interior.

This time I have selected the most beautiful and original, in my opinion, options for crafts, and I present to your judgment detailed processes their manufacture. I remind you that all works are taken from the free access of the Internet.

Master class on making an Easter Bunny with egg pockets

And we will start with the most popular product that flooded the entire Internet. It is understandable why, since the following rabbits are a real find, because it is not difficult to do, but it looks just perfect.

So, attention! For those who know how to crochet, I propose to make such cute animals here. I am sure not only children will like this decoration.

We need: thread different colors, hook, scissors, needle, eyes, nose, mustache, ribbon, cone.

Work process:

1. We will start by knitting a pocket. To do this, with a beige thread, dial 78 in. p. and connect them in a circle, then 3 in. lifting and 11 st. s / n, then 1 tubercle (1 yarn over, then insert the hook into the base loop and pull the thread, this must be repeated 3 times. Then grab the thread and pull through the loops to the last, and then through the last two loops). * 12 tbsp. s / n, 1 tubercle-repeat from * 4 times and close the row of connections. Art.

2. So you will need to knit 4 more rows, while increasing by 1 tbsp near the tubercle in each row. s / n, so that in the fifth row between the tubercles there are 16 columns. Knit the tubercles respectively into the tubercle of the previous row, inserting the hook below the loop. After tying, fasten the thread and cut.

3. Now let's see how to tie the torso. You need to dial 78 in. n. and connect them in a circle. Next, knit according to this pattern:

1 row: 6c. n. and 1 c. n turn, 6 tbsp. b / n and 1 c. p. turn;

2 row: 6 tbsp. b / n;

3-4 row: at the beginning, add 1 tbsp. b / n, 6 tbsp. b / n and 1 c. p. turn;

5-10 row: 7 tbsp. b / n;

11-16 row: decrease in each row 1 tbsp. b/n. Tie white and beige ears together.

5. Tie the muzzle: 1 row - white thread 5 in. n. + 1 c. p. turn; 2 row - 4 tbsp. b / n, 1 c. p. turn; 3-4 row - 4 tbsp. b / n; 5-6 row - subtract 1 tbsp. b / n in each row.

6. It remains to put everything together. Fold the torso and pocket together with the edges and tie 1 next to st. b / n white thread. And along the upper edge of the pocket, tie 1 row of st. b / n with a white thread, while capturing the tubercles of the body.

7. Thread a decorative lace or ribbon into the holes on the neck. Fill the head with filler, then sew on the muzzle, glue the eyes and nose, and make the antennae.

The finished bunny is best placed on a flower pot or cardboard cone.

By the way, I found this craft on an excellent site, country of mothers.

How to make a felt bunny for Easter?

We will need: sheet felt of different shades; colored floss threads; sewing needle; colored thin satin ribbons; synthetic winterizer or any other suitable filler; simple pencil; scissors; paper.

Work process:

1. First, make a craft template on a piece of paper or cardboard. You need two Easter eggs different size and one rabbit.

2. Now cut out the hare template and transfer it to a piece of felt sheet folded in half, cut out two identical parts.

3. Remove the back part for now, but we will decorate the front part with embroidery. Start with the flower by forming its petals from loops of thread, securing each with small chain stitches.

4. The middle of the petals must be filled with stitches.

5. Take a thread of a different color and form voluminous stitches in the center and do not completely pass the needle through the fabric to the front side, wind the turns of the thread on it, and then insert it again into the fabric after a small gap and pull the entire thread through the turns, as a result get the original bulk stitch.

6. Make three or four of these three-dimensional stitches.

8. Take black threads and embroider the muzzle, eye and nose with them.

9. Now you need to connect the front to the back. Sew them evenly along the edge, and start from the lower right edge upwards with a floss thread in a contrasting color. Use a regular needle-forward stitch. The stitches should be even, uniform and small in size.

10. At the top of the ears, insert a piece from a thin satin ribbon, approximately 4-5 cm long. Form a loop and sew into the toy.

11. When your workpiece is practically sewn, fill it with padding polyester, which is then evenly distributed inside.

12. When sewing up the bottom of the toy, insert another piece of ribbon in the center, 3-4 cm long.

13. This is what you should end up with.

15. On the front of the egg, embroider a decorative flower with a voluminous center with colored threads, just like you did embroidery on a hare.

16. Connect both halves, starting from the lower right edge, sew with a needle-forward seam.

17. In the upper central part of the egg, insert the end of a piece of satin ribbon, the beginning of which is sewn in at the bottom of the animal.

19. Now cut out the template for big egg. Cut out on fabric.

20. On the front, also embroider in the form of a flower.

21. Sew the details by sewing in central part the free end of a piece of tape, the beginning of which is sewn into the bottom of the previous small egg.

22. Stuff the workpiece with padding polyester and sew it to the end. Cover the junction of the ribbon and the egg with another bow.

23. You can also add one more small bow at the junction of the first piece of tape with the bottom of the toy.

24. Your souvenir is ready!! It turned out to be an Easter pendant.

Many more souvenirs can be made from felt. Below will be given options for finished work.

Work process:

1. Take a sock and fill it with any filler.

4. Now cut the remaining edge of the sock in half to the knot.

5. Cut out the ears from these parts.

7. Using a few seams, highlight the handles.

8. Take baby sock and cut off the top to the heel, fold the edges inward and get a handbag pocket, glue or sew it on the tummy.

And on this bright and colorful note, I end today's article. I hope, as always, was useful and interesting. I want everyone to stay positive!

P.s.: and it started snowing here, this is such a spring now.

One of the main Christian holidays is approaching, the symbol of which, along with Easter cake and eggs, is the Easter Bunny. It is clear that no one calls for giving an animal, but you can do it yourself from various materials. Believe me, such a gift would be appropriate, as well as a variety of Easter eggs, which were discussed in previous articles.

It is worth telling a little about the rabbit symbol itself. This animal, or rather its wild fellow hare, is a symbol of fertility, capable of producing abundant offspring. This is the personification of life itself, like Easter - a holiday when believers glorify the rebirth of Jesus Christ.

And earlier in these spring days, the pagans praised the goddess of fertility Ostar, presenting her with eggs and hares, as manifestations of life. And, like many Christian holidays, Easter adopted some of the ancient traditions for an easier transition to a new way of life. That's how the rabbit magically became Easter and suddenly began to lay eggs ...

Tilda fabric hares (or in our case, rabbits) look very cute. To make them yourself you will need:

Fabric, scissors, washable marker, thread, needles, matching ribbon.

  • Fold the fabric in half with the front side inward, transfer the pattern to the fabric

  • We chop the fabric with needles to make it easier to sew

  • Sew along the contour, leaving room for stuffing
  • Cut off excess fabric at a distance of about a centimeter from the seam

  • We make cuts on the folds to the seam so that there are no wrinkles when stuffing

  • We turn the workpiece inside out, stuff it with padding polyester or other material

  • Sewing the opening with a hidden seam

  • Decorate the rabbit with a ribbon.

Easter Bunny Crochet Video

Crochet lovers will need such a master class on making this Easter beast. Cute, original, try to knit a similar unusual egg case!

How to make your own felt packaging for the Easter Bunny egg

The felt is very soft, delicate, cozy, and even children can make such a cover for a painted egg. It is done like this:

  • On the fabric with chalk we outline the contours of the workpiece, twice side by side

  • Cut them out along the lines

  • We sew with a strong thick thread beautiful buttonhole stitch without touching the flat part
  • Cut out four rounded rectangles, sew them in pairs - these are the ears

  • We glue ready-made eyes, nose, if desired, decorate with a bow if we make the female version of the rabbit

  • We apply a smile with a special glue-paint (here you can come up with your own version).

Easter Salt Dough Craft

WITH salt dough everyone loves to work, even kids, because it is soft, pliable, like good old plasticine. It is also suitable for themed crafts, for example, a cute rabbit in the shape of an egg, so to speak, two in one.

The execution is like this:

  • We make the base in the shape of an egg from foil
  • Roll out a piece of dough, wrap the workpiece with it

  • We pinch off the excess dough, roll the craft well, aligning all the corners
  • Wet hands in water, smooth out all wrinkles

  • We put it on the file and immediately on the surface, where the craft will dry, so as not to break the figure

  • Now we sculpt a muzzle, divide a small piece in half, roll two balls of the same size
  • We moisten the place of attachment with water, carefully fasten the “eyes”, pressing them to the base, and to each other

  • From pink dough we make a small neat nose
  • Again, use pink dough to form two small balls, flatten, make cheeks, also glue on water

  • We take white dough, make eyes - we also divide a piece in half, roll balls of the same diameter, form droplets, try on, glue
  • We roll a ball from a very small piece, glue it under the muzzle - this is the lower lip of the rabbit

  • A larger piece of dough, also divide in half, roll in the form of a drop, form the ears of the desired size
  • We take a little pink dough, also make droplets, attach to the ear blanks

  • We break the toothpick in half, insert the sharp part into the rabbit halfway, on the other hand, we attach the ears to this impromptu frame, having previously moistened the points of contact with water to glue the parts

  • The green material will become the basis for the weed. To do this, we roll a tourniquet from it, cut it into pieces, roll each one into a long drop, glue it with water, so we decorate the perimeter of the craft

  • We roll out the pink dough, cut out the flowers with a special shape, decorate the grass with them

  • With paint we make the eyes of the animal brighter (blue, green), draw a black pupil
  • You can make holes on the cheeks with a toothpick

  • It remains to dry the craft by the battery, and then varnish it.

We make a do-it-yourself voluminous paper rabbit with children

Paper is also capable of transforming into extraordinarily beautiful things. So, simple cardboard or even office paper can become the basis of cute, beautiful crafts that a child can do.

For example, it is easy to make rabbits like this by simply cutting the material according to such a pattern and gluing it together.

Crafts of different colors look more vivid - with red or pink ears, paws, a bow around the neck. Well, how can one pass by such beauty?

For those who are ready for great feats, voluminous versions are suitable. For example, made according to the pattern of a bunny in the shape of a cone body.

Well, the most practical would be a stand for Easter eggs, cut according to the template and glued on the folds. And all the business is to print the template, if you wish, color it, cut it out, bend it along certain lines, apply a little glue, press it to dry and that's it! Try this needlework with your children, grandchildren, they will be delighted and will definitely ask you to repeat this experience!

Speaking about the use of paper when creating crafts, one cannot fail to mention origami, this technique also allows you to create beautiful things for the holidays. So, quickly enough from a dense material (but not cardboard) to make a box for eggs.

All that is needed is to prepare a square and fold it in a certain sequence, and then decorate it with a drawn or printed (and then cut out) rabbit muzzle. Details of the work will tell this master class.

Pompom Easter table decoration

Real rabbits are soft, fluffy creatures, so made from pompoms, crafts of these animals look realistic and very gentle. The procedure for their manufacture will appeal to children and adults:

  • We cut out their cardboard 2 circles with a diameter of 11 cm, an inner hole of 3 cm with a slot on one side for ease of use

  • We wind a thick thread

  • Cut the workpiece in the middle
  • We tie a pompom with a piece of thread about 30 cm, passing it between layers of cardboard

  • We remove the base, fluff the ball, if necessary, trim the edges with scissors

  • We take felt 6 by 4 cm, cut out 2 ovals from it - these are the legs of the rabbit, we glue them to the pompom with hot glue

  • From two pieces of felt 7 × 2 cm (white or pink) and 6 × 1.5 cm (white), we cut out the ears, sharpening the edges. We put a smaller piece of fabric on a larger one, fix it with glue, turning it slightly towards the middle
  • Glue the ears to the pompom

  • We fasten the eyes-beads
  • We take a thick wire, fold the second one, cut it, weave it together - these are antennae, we also fasten them with a glue gun

We fasten the nose from above - that's all!

We make a rabbit out of towels with our own hands

Even an ordinary small towel can become the basis for crafts, if you show imagination. So, a cute rabbit gnawing a carrot is easily done in this way:

We take a plain terry towel for hands, soft balls (ready-made), eyes, threads to match the fabric

  • We roll the material diagonally into a roll, bending it on both sides
  • Tie in the center with a thread
  • Fold the roll in half, fix it again with a thread
  • We attach cheeks to the “muzzle”, a nose made of white, pink balls
  • Glue eyes
  • We make out the "carrot".
  • So in a couple of minutes we have a cute, soft, fluffy animal ready!

Here are a few more craft options.

Easter bunny from socks

Real needlewomen do not throw anything away, every little thing becomes the basis or addition to a new masterpiece. They even learned how to make rabbits from ... old socks!

For crafts you need to prepare: a small sock, eyes, thin tape, dense elastic or twine, a small pom-pom for the tail, filler (cereals, synthetic winterizer, cotton wool, but denser material is better for stability), a small piece of light-colored fabric for the abdomen, glue gun.

Fill the sock (volume about a glass)

  • Tie with an elastic band (or coarse thread), forming three elements - torso, head, ears
  • Next, glue the "tummy"
  • To the "muzzle" we attach moving eyes, nose, teeth from felt
  • We perform the ears by cutting the free part of the sock and sharply cutting off the corners
  • Fasten pom-pom tail

It remains to decorate the neck of the rabbit with a beautiful ribbon.

At the end of this topic, a few more step by step photo descriptions creation soft toys sock based. Nice, right? Not at all difficult!

Crafts from plastic spoons for decoration

Round plastic spoons - featuring the basis for holiday crafts. It is enough to draw eyes, a nose, a mouth on them with markers, add paper ears - and the animal is ready.

If you want something exotic, then you can make a dress, a rainbow bow, and other decorations for the figurine. Also interesting option- seat him on the "grass" of paper.

How to cut a rabbit out of plywood

We offer wood lovers to cut this cute animal out of plywood. For this:

Draw a rectangle on a piece of material, mark the height of the head, ears, paws

  • Outline the body in the form of a circle, the rest by eye
  • In places of sharp turns of the lines, drill plywood for ease of cutting

  • Cut the workpiece along the contour with a fine-cut saw
  • Paint white or grey colour, draw eyes, nose, mouth, ear contours, other decorative elements.

As you can see, a cute rabbit can really be made in just a couple of minutes, if you choose simple technology, although all the proposed options are worthy of attention. These things play a role. unusual gift, jewelry to festive table, decor element. Do you have a minute of time and want to feel the spirit of the holiday? We cut out two parts for the ear in white and two pink. White ears will be on the front, and pink toys on the back. We sew.

Cut out four pieces for the legs. We sew, tightly stuffing the tips, we form fingers.

Cut out four pieces for the legs. We sew by adding holofiber inside. We glue the hearts on the sole with a heat gun (you can sew, but this must be done before sewing the main parts of the leg - that is, on one layer of felt).

Cut out two parts for the head, attach the ears and sew, but not completely - you need to leave a hole in order to stick and sew the torso.

We proceed to the torso - cut out two parts, sew on handles, fill with holofiber and sew.

Sew the body to the head.

We cut out the muzzle according to the pattern and sew it on, stuffing a little in the middle of the filler.

Glue the nose and eyes with hot glue. Sew the legs to the body.

Sew together a bunny and a chicken.

That's it - the Easter toy is ready.

Easter bunny in tilde style

This Easter Bunny is very cute. It can be given as a souvenir to relatives, used as a decor for a photo shoot. It is sewn in a few hours, and there are no costs - everything for a toy can be found in the house.

This tilda hare is made from the following materials:

  • linen of two colors (for example, as here - lilac and light green);
  • denim (for shoes);
  • floss threads;
  • thread for stitching parts;
  • stuffing material;
  • needle;
  • scissors;
  • old children's sweater or sock.

Pattern

The Easter Bunny is made like this:

1. Draw a pattern. This should be done in accordance with the figure. Cut out this pattern along the contours. Apply to fabric. Trace the pattern on the wrong side of the fabric. It is necessary not to forget to make small indents of the same size.

Description of work

2. Cut out the details of the bunny in the required quantity.

3. We collect the parts in pairs and sew them together. We should not forget that the parts will be stuffed with material, so you can not completely sew. We leave a small hole so that the filler can be inserted.

4. We turn out the details. This is done easily if you take a pencil and help its blunt part when turning it out.

5. Fill the body, arms, legs and head with filler. As a filling material, you can use cotton wool, and pieces of fabric, and holofiber, and synthetic winterizer.

6. We collect parts.

7. Sew the ears to the head. The ears are made up of parts of two colors. We sew them together like the rest of the parts, but do not stuff them. Sew neatly to the head.

8. We embroider a nose, small eyes on the muzzle.

9. The base of the hare is ready. Now we can dress him up. A bunny sweater can be made from the sleeve of a small sweater or a sock. We cut off just a part of the sleeve and make holes for the hands on the sides. Dressing up our Easter souvenir.

10. Shoes can be sewn from jeans, or you can leave our handsome man barefoot.

You can sew on the ears in the traditional way, on the sides of the head, like this girl has a hare.

We sew a souvenir

Fabric can be made in the following options:

  • Flat or voluminous.
  • Simplified or detailed.
  • Egg shaped with ears or whatever gift wrap, which is put on the egg.
  • In the form of a full-fledged soft toy.

With the most simple ideas even a girl can handle it, so the process of creating gifts can be turned into family creativity. A very light and beautiful do-it-yourself Easter bunny is made of fleece or felt. These materials do not require edge processing, and the product is easy to sew even on the right side. Small details of the decor, for example, a muzzle, are enough to be glued to the base.

For sewing, any fabric is used: both plain and variegated. The forms of souvenirs are also varied: from simplified stylized ones in the form of a triangle, oval to realistic, fully detailed ones.

Easter Bunny: pattern

To sew any product, even the simplest, you will definitely need paper template details. You can act in two ways:

  1. Print the finished contour image on the printer in a suitable scale.
  2. Draw the details yourself on a piece of paper.

The second method is suitable for those who know how to work with a pencil and like to develop new ideas. In the first case, you just need to select a picture and have a printer at hand. You won’t get an exclusive thing if you take a ready-made sample, but it will significantly save time: print it out, cut it out - neck. You can create an unusual image due to the details of the decoration (tie a bow, sew a hat, clothes, etc.)

Pattern examples

According to the templates below, you will get a very simple and at the same time beautiful Easter bunny. The pattern on all samples, except for the last one, consists of one element. It is enough to print it on a printer and you can use it. Two identical pieces are cut out of the fabric. It is easy to fold the flap with the right sides inward, pin the paper blank with pins, circle it, not forgetting the seam allowances, and cut it out.

An Easter souvenir is made in the form of a figurine of a bunny or only its head. The form can be both realistic and simplified, as in the next template. You will need to sew two pieces around the perimeter when they are folded right sides in and turn out. In this case, it is better to leave a hole for eversion between the ears. So it will be more convenient to fill the souvenir with holofiber or padding polyester.

The next two templates are bunny figures in profile. The first option is simplified. If you cut out the details from the fleece, you can sew them, in general, on the front side, glue the circles of the eye, nose, and also the pink middle of the ears.

The next blank has a realistic contour shape. If you sew on it from a regular fabric from the wrong side, leaving a hole for eversion, you can leave the unstitched part near the ears, and also next to the paws. So it will be more convenient to fill the form with stuffing material. Before turning, do not forget to make cuts on the seam allowances in places of complex rounding of the shape. This is necessary so that the fabric does not pull and unnecessary folds do not form in shape.

They look original The shape of the base can be sewn as a separate blank or immediately together with the rest of the parts. Use the option from the following illustration or modify it. You will need two of these parts. The contour is stitched completely to the place marked with an arrow. Through this hole, the hare is filled, with the ears and upper legs in the first place, after which a line is already sewn along the front side in the places shown by the dotted line. Try to fill the hare's body denser so that it looks like an egg shape. You can fill the legs along with the body or also complete the line, as is the case with the upper legs.

A variant of a pattern for sewing another three-dimensional figure from several elements is presented in the next section, since its example describes the sequence of work.

Master class "Easter Bunny"

According to this template, a souvenir in the form of an egg with a head, ears and paws is also made. The execution sequence will be as follows:

1. Cut out all the details from the appropriate fabric. If you use thick felt, it is enough to make all the elements except the body in a single copy, although if you also make it single, you will get a flat bunny that can be used as an appliqué or to create a magnet. To obtain volumetric form, paws, ears, make from two identical parts.

2. Fold all paired elements right sides inward and sew along the perimeter, stepping back from the edge the distance that you provided for the seam allowance. Don't forget to leave an unstitched turning hole. It is better to make them at the junctions with the base, and on the torso itself - below.

3. Make neat cuts on the allowances. Be careful not to damage the stitching.

4. Turn parts out and fill with prepared material.

5. Sew up the holes and connect all the details using a needle and thread.

6. Cover the details of the muzzle, ears and paws with a layer of PVA glue.

7. Draw acrylic paints face, mid-ears and feet.

Your souvenir is ready. You can, of course, sew or again draw clothes for him. By the way, the muzzle and other decorative details do not have to be painted. Embroider, glue or stitch them. Get creative.

As you can see, the Easter Bunny is quite simple to make. All options from the easiest to the most complex look cute and beautiful.
